Jack Kelly has been through so much.
He’s watched his father die in front of him, been forced to realize that being young doesn’t mean much in the world he’s living in, been hurt, locked up for trying to do good, lied to.
He’s watched his best friends, his brothers, get hurt, watched his brother get taken away to the same place that hurt Jack himself so bad, the place he won’t ever be able to forget for what it did to him.
He’s given up.
And yet, he’s gotten back on his feet.
He’s recovered as best as he knows how, he’s moved on as much as he could.
He’s stronger than he knows.
