well this was harder than i thought

Shape of You

Characters: Jensen Ackles, Y/N (Reader), Jared Padalecki (mentioned), Misha Collins (mentioned)

Pairing: Jensen x Reader

Warnings: Objectification of reader (sorta - he means well), Implied smut, smut, Dry Humping, Oral (69), unsafe sex (wrap it before you tap it), training kink (is that a thing?), rough(ish) sex, NSFW gifs under the cut.

Word Count: 3500ish

A/N: This is me proving to myself I still remember how to smut. I haven’t written anything smutty for the longest of times and I have been feeling like it lately. It was harder than I thought getting back into the saddle though. Sorry if it is a bit rough - pun not intended.

It is somewhat inspired by the Ed Sheeran song Shape of You - and maybe a little by the video too.

Thanks to the sweet amazing @mysupernaturalfics for betaing this for me.

“Fuck,” she breathed out, instantly drawing Jensen’s attention. He was sprawled out his couch, waiting for Y/N to return to his side. It was movie night and she hadn’t bothered leaving the room to take the phone call. Jensen never eaves dropped and even if he was to overhear something it wouldn’t matter. There was nothing to two of them hid from each other. Literally nothing.

They had both been single for a while and some drunken night they had come to the conclusion, that helping each other blow off some steam when either of them needed it was much prefered from picking up some random dude or chick at a bar.

“If you want I am game,” Jensen teased her, throwing her his best Dean smirk, making her eyes roll so hard he was sure Jared would hear it across the hall from Jensen’s apartment.

“It’s not funny, Jensen! They offered me the part. I’m gonna be Wonder Woman,” she complained, making Jensen shoot from the couch and wrap her in his arms, spinning her around the air not caring one bit about her objection.

“That’s amazing Y/N/N,” he laughed putting her down but not releasing her from his hold, “what are you so worried about?” Jensen gently stroked her hair away from her face, studying her face and trying to figure out why she wasn’t over the moon about this. She had a tendency to overthink things. He knew that. He literally spent 2 hours on the floor of her bedroom leaning against her bathroom door trying to talk her out after the first night they had slept together.

The Way You Said “I Love You” Prompts
@stileslydiah requested “24. Without really meaning it”

Watching Derek dote on someone is hard – harder than Stiles thought it would ever be, despite the fact he knows it’s insincere; despite the fact it’s the job and nothing more.

It’s hard because Stiles hasn’t had those arms around him in months, hasn’t had opportunity to arrange a chance meeting on a crowded street in weeks, hasn’t had Derek’s eyes meet his and watched his mouth curl into a smile for him.

Derek’s team have been fairly indulgent, letting Stiles tag along on the assignment to observe and allowing him to blend with various crowds just to be close to Derek. Early on, before Derek insinuated himself into their mark’s life, they even allowed them to talk on the phone, but that might as well have been in another lifetime.

Sometimes, Stiles hates his job, hates Derek’s job, hates the fact they’d never have met if it wasn’t for their jobs because then he can’t hate it as much.

Stiles is across the restaurant and he can’t tear his eyes away from the back of Derek’s head for more than a few seconds at a time, usually at the prompting of the agent he’s sitting across from.

Q: You have performed on various stages up till now, is there any stage that is memorable to you? The kind of stage that makes you think “I will never be able to forget this!”.

V: For me it’s my school’s festival. Every year I would just go watch it but now that I stood on that stage, I feel nervous. I thought they wouldn’t know about BTS at school but I was surprised because the cheer was enormous. When I went to the school later, the teachers even knew about BTS.

Jimin: Yeah. The girls were lining up in front of the classroom. (laughs)

Jungkook: I envy you!

Jin: Yah, I’m so jealous~

J-hope: I want to go to school just to experience that feeling! (laughs)

V: The line was really this long (showing with his hands) and I was so happy. I looked at Jimin and grinned at him.

Jimin: (laughs)

Suga: I should have debuted when I was still in school!

V: I was really happy then.

Jungkook: I have two, one is Incheon Hallyu Concert on my birthday! And the other one is the Tits Trailer

All: (laugh)

Jimin: Oh the one where our shirts were ripped?

Jungkook: That one was very memorable. It was a total shock. I was dancing and when I went to the back, someone was taking clothes off.

Suga: I really thought they ripped shirts out because they were too high.

All: (laugh)

Jungkook: W~ow. That thing’s really memorable for me.

Jin: I have two too, our debut showcase and Incheon Hallyu Concert like Jungkook chose.

Jungkook: Kya~ (marveling)

Jin: I went on the stage at the Incheon concert and looked at the audience zone, and there was really a lot of people. Before that I was so nervous when hearing the cheer for other senior groups. I have never stood in front of that many people before.

J-hope: For me the most memorable stage is actually the debut stage, but Incheon concert is memorable too. I’m so into the mood of that time I almost said “battle of Incheon”. (laughs)

All: (laugh)

J-hope: It was the first time for me to perform in front of that many people, so as I went on the stage and came back down, I felt a lot of emotions. There was the dream of “If this many people come to our concert, it would be goose-bumping” and also the promise to myself “I have to work harder”.

Jimin: I still can’t forget our debut showcase and the time when we received an award at Melon Music Awards and performed there. I really didn’t think we would get the award but after receiving it, I was dumbfounded not knowing if it was real or a dream, and my mood was lifted up. Before going on the stage, we all massaged each other’s shoulders and told ourselves to do well. (laughs)

Jungkook: I can’t forget Gayo Daejun.

Rap Monster: Gayo Daejun for me too. And Incheon Hallyu Concert. The stand-by time before going on the Gayo Daejun opening stage felt so long for me that time, because I was too nervous. I thought about many things during that short time. We have come all the way here to stand on this stage…

All: (agree)

Rap Monster: I can’t forget that feeling when I looked at the audience from the stage at Incheon Hallyu Concert too. The seats looked so big when we were rehearsing.

J-hope: Right. I was thinking “Will all these seats be filled up?”

Rap Monster: And I thought “Can they hear my voice here?”

Suga: I think we have performed at quite many different places. So to be honest, rather than feeling nervous, I would say I always worry if I make a mistake or not. But there was a time when I was really scared and thrilled about the stage itself. Our debut showcase. That time I was both nervous and thrilled… I can’t forget how I stood waiting backstage.

Jimin: Uah~ It was goose-bumping.

Rap Monster: I was too nervous about that stage so I couldn’t remember it well, I only remember us at the waiting room. When we were holding the cake. It went by like a film roll.

Suga: There will be new ones later after we perform more, but the first stage is always the most memorable.

Rap Monster: I think so too. I always remember our debut stage. The first is always the most memorable.

Q: In the time of those diverse experiences, there must be a time when you get stressed right?

Suga: Even getting stressed is a waste of time for me.

Jungkook: For me, it’s when things don’t go well. “Why doesn’t this go the way I want?”

Rap Monster: Agree. When I think “Is this all I can do?”.

V: (agrees) When things don’t go well.

Jungkook: I know I have to work harder, I have to practice but sometimes it comes quicker than I thought. Those times are really stressful…

Jimin: I can’t sleep when I’m stressed. It keeps lingering in my head and won’t go away all day long. The most serious time was when I was criticized a lot for my singing or dancing. My mood was so down I just kept quiet alone.

J-hope: I get stressed the most when I’m criticized.

Rap Monster: Right. It’s direct stress.

J-hope: How should I say it… That feeling when there’s a feedback and I’m stuck like “How should I do it?”.

Revelations & Confessions

AN: Hours later and I’m still reeling from that episode. it was so raw and emotional. Truthful. This is my attempt to process that.

(Set somewhere post 5x17)

Oliver sat on the cot in front of her, arms supporting his weight on his knees, head hung low. He knew she was there, he always did. Still, he refused to look up at her, to meet her gaze.

It had been this way for weeks. He’d shut himself off, emotionally, physically, much more that he had ever done before, in the times she’d known him. Then, he would always glance up, make sure that she knew that she mattered to him, in some small way.

Now, he stiller than a statue, frozen in misery.

“Oliver.” Felicity whispered, stepping towards him. Still he refused to move.

Cautiously, she approached him, her heels sounding a knell with each stiletto strike. As though every step was another scar on his skin. She settled on the floor in front of him, kneeling at his feet. This way, she could peer up at him, find his eyes and see what he was thinking.

If she knew what the wound was, she could heal him. It was deep, and unseen, but had broken Oliver to the point that he didn’t spring back by his own power or the encouragement of her or John.

Still, he didn’t move. He gave the illusion that she wasn’t really there, that perhaps she was an illusion of his mind. An echo of his mistakes.

Felicity reached out and grasped his hands, his fingers between her palms. They were cold, dry and brittle, smooth as a stone. Ridges of calluses mapped a pattern of hardship and toil, orators of his heroic acts. The same scars that revealed the instrument of darkness he held tightly to.

The instant her hands made contact with his, he shuddered, pulling away. Quickly, she reclaimed her grip.

“Don’t.” He whispered, voice hoarse from disuse.

As Bad As the Niffler- Newt Scamander x Reader

A/N: Hey everyone! I’m back to writing again, and I’m sorry this is so short. I’m still working on requests and other imagines, but I wanted to put something up since it’s been a bit and honestly, I really missed writing. I love you all and thank you for all the amazing support :)

No warnings, Pure fluff

The frozen air from outside of your shared flat struck Newt as he climbed back up the ladder and out of his case. He cautiously stood back onto the wooden floorboards before clasping his beloved creatures’ home shut. He paused to crack his back and to unstiffen his joints, only to be greeted with the chilling air once more. A shiver rolled down his spine, and he began to walk towards the closet. Carefully, he sifted through his shirts, waistcoats, and a few of your own articles as well, and he stepped back baffled with a hand rustling through his hair.

He could have sworn his gray sweater had been hung after the last wash he finished, and he could have sworn that he hadn’t gone and left it anywhere. Rising out of his thoughts once more, he filtered through his clothes again, only to be met with the same disappointment. Newt rubbed the goosebumps on his arms as his hair started to stand on end from the frigid atmosphere. All he wanted was something a little warmer to wear as opposed to his regular button down, and his coat wouldn’t be as comfortable as the desired sweater. With a sigh, he exited the room and ambled down the wooden staircase to where he could hear you humming along to a soothing record.

When he reached the bottom of the stairs, he called your name out knowing you were in the room somewhere, “Y/n? Love, this is probably a strange question, but have you by chance seen my gray sweat-,”

Newt strode towards the kitchen, while talking to the floor, but when his eyes finally landed on you, he stopped as his breath was stolen right out of his lungs.

You were seated at the wooden table, the newspaper sprawled out and a blue mug perched in your gentle hands. Your hair wisped around your face as parts of it had slipped from the tied bun atop your head. With lips sipping on the contents of the mug, you peered up to glance at your boyfriend as his own eyes slipped down to the gray sweater you were wearing, which just so happened to be the same size and texture as the one he was looking for.

Newt smiled to himself in awe, as he had never seen anyone more beautiful. The sweater was obviously too large for your frame, as Newt was a giant compared to you, but that made you even more adorable. The way your eyes lit up in surprise at his unfinished question entranced him, and he let out a small laugh at your shocked state. His lips curled into a beaming grin as watched you set the mug back down softly upon the surface.

“I was um….borrowing it?” you phrased, as your intended statement came out as more of a confused question directed towards yourself. This earned you another laugh from Newt, as he began to cross his arms and lean against the door frame with a sweet smirk etched on his face.

“I’m sure you were darling,” he chuckled, “Why I’d say you’re as bad as the Niffler with this thievery.”

You gasped loudly and playfully before dramatically pressing a hand to your chest, “How dare you relate me to such a crime.”

You mocked being offended and Newt stepped towards you, grin still playfully on his face. He pressed a soft kiss to your cheek and you felt his short stubble gently tickle your face as well. Distracted by the kiss, you didn’t notice Newt start to wrap his arms around you and scoop you up off the chair you were sitting in. Still off guard, Newt took this as an advantage to pepper you with more kisses, bringing you both into euphoria. You wrapped your sweater-paw hands around him, giggling harder than before.

“Hmm I should be annoyed at you for stealing it, but I’ll let it slide since you’re just so adorably radiant in my clothes,” he murmured with his forehead pressed against your own.

He wasn’t lying, he thought you looked astounding, and you were extremely cozy and warm to the touch now, a feeling he was well aware of when he embraced you. Newt lovingly stared into your eyes before capturing your lips with his. Your eyes fluttered closed as you melted into the kiss and felt the butterflied in your stomach, as even after all this time with the man you loved, you still managed to feel as you did on your first date. His hand brushed a few strands of hair from your face, but he was careful not to let you slip onto the floor. He deepened the kiss more, allow the passion you two had towards one another to blossom like a tulip in spring. His earthy scent from hours working in the case before surrounded you, enveloping you two in your own private world of love and affection. Once the kiss broke, you kissed the top of his nose enchantingly, soft as a whisper in the summer breeze.

You looked into his breathtaking pelagic eyes as sorrow swirled in your own.

“I’m sorry Newt, I really am. I shouldn’t have taken it without you knowing. Here I can give it back,” you said while tugging on the sleeved a little more.

Newt cut of your actions with another peck to your rosy lips.

“Don’t worry about it darling. You can even keep it, it looks better on you anyways. But, on one minor condition though,” he proposed.

You responded with a quick kiss to his cheek as your chest rested against his, “And what’s that dear?”

“You come back upstairs to cuddle with me. You’re unusually cuddly and soft right now, and I could use someone to help warm me back up.”

You happily nodded, “Of course Newt. I wouldn’t be able to say no anyways, I love you too much.”

“And I love you by sweater-stealing darling.”

Newt’s grin grew as you then laid your head onto his chest, arms consumed by oversized sleeves still around his neck. He shifted his hold on you and carried you back upstairs to your bedroom so the two of you could enjoy one another’s warm comfort while the chilly air swiftly swirled around in the world outside.

Romance, Part One

There’s been a prompt in my inbox for quite some time, imploring me to write a bit of romance. Thing is, I’ve never even attempted romance. Not even once. But hell, it’s a chance to try something new. And I tried for you, anon. I tried my damnedest. So here goes.

(And many thanks to the immensely talented @edierone for her insight and suggestions!)

Summary: “And how exactly would you romance me, then? You know. Just so I don’t mix you up with any more shapeshifters.”

I Wanna Be Yours

Hey guys! I am so excited to share some of my new fics with you guys! WHOO! This is for @decemberftw who requested a fic based on the song I Wanna Be Yours by the Arctic Monkeys I hope you like it! This is the first time I’ve done anything someone has requested, so I hope it lives up to what you wanted. :) Thanks for being a wonderful follower! <3 Happy Sunday!!

Warnings: wittle bit of angst, fluff, sarcastic reader in a funny way, language like kind of not really

Today was the third Friday of the month. That could only mean one thing.

“MOVIE NIGHT WITH MAH BOYEEEEEEEZ!” You howled as you ran through the kitchen and crash landed on the couch, just missing Steve who was already lounging on the cushions.

“(Y/N), please, I’m begging you to stop talking like that.” Steve groaned.

“Steve, if you’re gonna call yourself my friend then you have to deal with every side of me, including the 90′s rapper side that makes the occasional appearance.”

He chuckled and shook his head while he handed you the remote to pick tonight’s movie. You glanced down at the clock and furrowed your brows.

“Hey, where’s Buck? It’s nine on the dot, he should be here.”

“He didn’t text you? He’s not coming,” Steve said cautiously.

“Not coming?” Your finger froze on the button it was about to push. “What do you mean he’s not coming? It’s our movie night.”

“Well, he’s with a girl, (Y/N), it is Friday night.” His defense made you snarl, but you took a deep breath to try and calm yourself.

“Okay, I’m gonna ignore that last statement and pretend you didn’t just disrespect our movie night.”

Steve snorted at you. You rocked in your seat to face him, tucking your feet under you and strangling a pillow in your lap. “Which girl is it now? Dot?”

“No. Uh, he said her name was…”

“Oh is it, umm, what’s her freaking name…” you snapped your fingers in the air until you remembered the blonde who only seemed to be able to access about 12% of her brain. “Kelly?”

“Uh-uh,” he declined.

“The one who lives down on Ferry St.?”

“No.”

“The one who works with Sharon?” You asked.

“That’s Kelly,” Steve chuckled.

“Jesus, I can’t keep ‘em all straight,” you shouted, completely exasperated and throwing yourself down on the couch.

“I think this is a new one anyway. He didn’t say much about her.”

“He never does.” You grumbled as you picked the first movie that popped up on the screen.

Before the opening credits ended you texted Bucky.

How dare you skip out on movie night.

You placed the phone on the coffee table and made yourself comfy as you watched the set up of the action movie you’d seen a couple times before.

A few minutes later your phone lit up with the most unflattering picture of Bucky, meaning he had texted you back. You sat up so quickly, the couch creaked. Steve spotted Bucky’s face on the screen before you could yank it out of his sight.

“(Y/N), he’s on a date, leave him alone.”

“Uh, I highly doubt it’s a traditional date, Steve,” you mumbled as you unlocked your phone and read the message.

I know, I’m sorry.
I could bring her over and we could all watch something?

You growled aloud and shot him back a text.

Absolutely not. No randos at movie night.

You tossed your phone on the couch next to you and tried to focus on the movie. A message lit the screen again and you looked down without unlocking it.

You’re a piece of work, (Y/N).

You sighed and burritoed yourself in a blanket, watching the explosions and gunfire on the television.

“What did he say?” Steve asked you once the violent scene had quieted down.

“He apologized,” you grumbled.

Steve sighed. “It’s harder than you thought it would be isn’t it?”

The confused look you gave him made it clear he would have to elaborate.

“To live with us and hide how you feel.”

You shouldn’t be surprised that Steve knew about your feelings for Bucky. Steve and you had been friends for years and he knew you so well, it was like he always knew what was inside your head.

“I just- he shouldn’t be hooking up with all these girls, ya know? It’s not good for him.” You practically whispered.

Steve threw his arm around you. “He’ll figure that out.”

You sighed into his touch and leaned on his shoulder. The rest of the movie went by quietly until you both picked up and went to bed.

The next day you went to the gym to blow off some steam and by the time you got back, Bucky was finally out of bed and making some coffee. He was standing in the kitchen, his long hair pulled into a messy bun, black tank top clinging to his chest and shoulders above thin, grey sweatpants. He was a sight to behold if you weren’t so angry with him for bailing on you and Steve the night before.

“Good morning,” he said sleepily, sensing your presence as he focused on pouring his drink.

“Morning,” you answered quietly as you squeezed by his large body to grab a plum from the bowl on the other side of the counter. You bit into it as silence hung in the air.

Bucky finally cleared his throat. “How was the movie night?”

“Great,” you shortly declared as you reached to the top cupboard for a glass. Bucky’s eyes fell to your waist as your workout tank rose off your hips and your pale skin peeked out for a moment. You closed the cupboard with a slam and asked, “How was your night?”

“Fine,” he said, side stepping out of your way as you filled the glass with water.

“So you’ll be moving on rather quickly then.”

He sputtered and coughed as he choked on his sip of coffee. “What?”

“If your night was only fine, I’m sure you dumped her this morning and you’ll be moving on to someone new tonight, right?” you spat before taking a sip of your water, grabbing a napkin for your plum and heading out of the kitchen.

“Hey! You can’t just say something like that and then walk away,” he said, grabbing your elbow and spinning you around.

“Well, it’s true, isn’t it?”

“That-that’s none of your business,” he stammered. When you scoffed, it sent him over the edge. “Is this all because I missed your stupid movie night?” he shouted.

“Well, that was quite the cherry on top, Buck! Since when are your hookups more important than me and Steve?”

“They’re not just hookups, (Y/N)! What kind of a guy do you think I am?” He yelled, ripping his fingers through his long hair.

“I don’t even know anymore! All the sudden you’re going through girls faster than you go through freaking underwear! What the hell happened to you? What are you trying to make up for?”

He pressed his lips together and refused to answer you. You shook your head and put your glass and plum down on the counter with a bang and stalked out of the room.

“(Y/N)!” he called after you.

You spun around in the doorway. “What, Buck? What do you want?”

“I wanna be yours.” It was soft like a prayer, but you were sure you heard it.

His words pulled at you, made your hands fall to your sides from their strong position on your hips, your jaw relaxed from its clenched position, the air pulled right from your lungs. But your heart soared as he continued.

“I really care about you, (Y/N). I try to be everything that you need- I try to give you everything you deserve, but I know I’m-Jesus you’re way out of my league and I know that, but I just- I don’t know.” The words flew out of his mouth like they were on fire. When he ran out of steam he sighed and stared at his bare feet on the kitchen floor.

“Bucky-” you started but he interrupted you.

“Ju-just forget it, okay?” He mumbled like a kicked puppy. With his head down, he crossed in front of you and got out of the kitchen as fast as he could before you could stop him.

The next day you laid out on your bed waiting for the sign from F.R.I.D.A.Y., but it never came.

Later that night you asked her, “F.R.I.D.A.Y., do you remember the plan?”

“Yes, Miss (Y/L/N). But Mr. Barnes hasn’t left his room today.”

“He hasn’t?” you knew an AI couldn’t lie, but you were amazed at her answer. Maybe something else was bothering him or he was busy with paperwork from missions, he always let that stiff pile up. Surely he wasn’t that upset about what happened between you two in the kitchen yesterday.

You waited for her signal for hours before you finally let yourself fall asleep. He would have to come out sometime, you thought.

F.R.I.D.A.Y.’s voice startled you when she woke you up in the middle of the night. “Miss (Y/L/N), Mr. Barnes is in the kitchen.”

You rolled over and sat up too quickly, your head reeling from your sudden movement. You grumbled, “What time is it?” and though you weren’t really expecting an answer, the AI announced that it was 3AM.

Throwing a sweatshirt over your head you asked F.R.I.D.A.Y. to follow through with her part of the plan. “This better freaking work,” you mumbled in a sleepy fog.

The elevator doors opened and butterflies flooded your stomach when you heard the slow guitar strums coming from the speakers in the kitchen. You sneaked down the hall and peeked your head around the door frame and you couldn’t help but giggle at what you saw.

Bucky was frantically running around the joined kitchen and living room, pressing just about every button on every remote to try and turn the loud music off.

You swallowed your fear and a little bit of your pride and stepped into the dim light in front of the refrigerator.  You took a deep breath and started to sing softly to the song and you ignored the heat running through your system when Bucky froze in his pace and stared at you.

“I wanna be your vacuum cleaner, breathing in your dust. I wanna be your Ford Cortina. I will never rust. If you like-”

Your soft singing was cut off by Bucky’s chuckles. “You wanna be my what? My vacuum cleaner?”

“God, Bucky, shut up! Listen!” you shouted, holding a finger up to the speaker as the song rolled on and the most important lyrics were about to be sung. You let the record sing for you because your voice was stolen by your nerves.

“You call the shots, babe. I just wanna be yours. Secrets I have held in my heart are harder to hide than I thought.”

Bucky’s smirk fell as he listened to the lyrics booming from the speakers. When he practically ran toward you, you involuntarily took a step back and ran into the cabinets.

“Maybe I just wanna be yours, I wanna be yours, I wanna be yours,” it sang.

As the music swelled Bucky’s hands cupped your jaw and pulled your lips to his. You fervently kissed him back and when he was sure you weren’t going to run away, his hands fell to your waist and his arms wrapped tightly around your body, pulling you closer to him.

The four words repeated over and over as he wrapped himself around you and you hid from the world in his long, thick limbs. Every breath was in sync as you ran your fingers through his hair and he fisted the back of your sweatshirt in his rough hands.

The song ended seemingly as soon as it began and you pulled away from Bucky, his face still only inches from yours.

“So, you had to wake the whole team up just so you could tell me you liked me back?” He said with a smirk.

“That’s your fault for eating dinner at three in the morning.”

“I was hungry,” he said, playfully pinching the skin on your back. “And where the heck did you find this song?”

“Youtube,” you said, as if it was obvious. “Do you get it? The song’s called I Wanna Be Yours and that’s what you said to me? Do you get it? I spent a lot of time on this, Buck, please acknowledge-”

“Yes, I get it,” he groaned before stopping your sarcastic rambling with another kiss. You laughed against his lips and thanked Youtube for introducing you to the Arctic Monkeys.

In which Sherlock comes back after pretending to be dead for two years, finds John moved out of Baker Street and nearly engaged. He’d deduced two possible reactions… but not this.

Of all the outcomes Sherlock had prepared himself for, this was not one of them. There had been two scenarios in his head, two ways John’s emotions could play out. Shock was, in both scenarios, naturally the primary stage. That is logically what happens when a previously thought dead person presents themselves. It was the stages that came after the shock is where it got tricky, given that Sherlock had to take into factor that they were surrounded by the public eye, in a very crowded, very upscale restaurant. It was where the road split. Road one: Shock would be followed by disbelieve, perhaps tears, but most likely not with John. No, it was more likely disbelief would lead to laughter, the slightly bitter kind that Sherlock could picture on John’s face, the kind that would melt into relief, maybe even a slightly uncharacteristic hug. It might be a briefer display of emotion due to the public eye but at least Sherlock would know it was alright now.

The second road was not preferred but it ended the same. On this path anger followed the shock, maybe John stormed out of the restaurant, maybe delivered Sherlock a rightly deserved punch… But they were together in the end. Sherlock was forgiven in the end.

He never thought, however, that the stage of anger would be so prolonged. He never imagined that John wouldn’t eventually get along to embracing his lost best friend. Sherlock never pictured John leaving him standing alone on the curb of a dumpy fish and chip place with a bloody nose.

Ms. Hudson, on the other hand, had had exactly the reaction Sherlock had predicted when he walked into 221B. She’d screamed, cried, screamed again when he placed a gentle hand on her arm, and proceeded to alternate between the two for the next hour. Sherlock could barely focus on her however, only being able to think about how, as she wrapped him in a very tight hug, he would do anything to have experienced this reaction twice that night.

“Oh Sherlock,” Ms. Hudson patted his cheek fondly, a smile brightening her face, “I take it you’ve seen John?”

Sherlock tense, “Yes. Yes, of course.”

She laughed delightedly, squeezing his hand before bustling into the kitchen, “I’ll get the kettle on for you two, then.”

Sherlock unknotted his scarf, hanging it on the familiar coat hanger, taking note in the back of his mind the relief that filled his chest at being, well, home, “Sorry?”

Ms. Hudson looked over her shoulder, “Well, I gather he’ll be around shortly, yes?”

Sherlock froze half way through shrugging out of his coat, the thought hitting him harder than he expected. Would he?

“Yes.” Sherlock said stiffly, dropping his coat over a chair—John’s chair—with a flourish, “Yes, of course. Tea would be lovely, thank you.”

Ms. Hudson gave him another firm kiss on the cheek and a Oh Sherlock, do play some violin for me tomorrow. I can’t tell you how I’ve missed it, and left him to “get settled.”

Sherlock had prepared the tea with shaking fingers. Of course John would be around. He wouldn’t let the night end like it had would he? He’d want to see Sherlock. Definitely. John was a man of answers, and he had two years worth of questions to ask. Sherlock had poured the water into the tea pot, set out two cups (he’d looked for John’s favorite mug only to find it no longer in the cupboard), milk, and sugar. He’d put it all on a tray, set it rather too harshly onto the coffee table, fell into his chair…

And the waiting had begun.

Sherlock was very good at sitting still usually. He could go days on end without speaking, without moving. But he couldn’t seem to manage it tonight.

He paced, drummed his fingers, watched the clock. By the time he decided to change into his pajamas, it was nearly two in the morning and he had already retuned his violin and stabbed the fireplace mantle approximately 57 times. The tea was cold and he hadn’t had a drop. He hung his coat up from its place on John’s chair, fluffing the flag pillow and smoothing the velvet out.

It was two thirty and Sherlock listened to Ms. Hudson’s bedroom door close downstairs. No doubt she had been waiting up for John. She’d given up. He wouldn’t.

Sherlock kept his phone in hand. John may call rather than come over now that it was so late. He had a…fiancé now, after all. Sherlock swallowed hard at the thought, checking his phone again. Another outcome Sherlock had not expected. Of course, he felt foolish now, thinking John had—thinking John could ever feel… whatever Sherlock had felt. Whatever Sherlock feels. That it was John and him, him and John. He never dreamt that there could be any other version of either of their lives, he never thought…

Sherlock pressed his hands over his eyes.

But perhaps he should not have left for two years. For a so-called genius, he seemed to have a habit of realizing things too late when it came to John Watson. Maybe one could only be a genius in one aspect of life, one field. Sherlock considered this. If that was the case, he’d gladly trade his knowledge of chemistry, of crime, of anything, for an upstanding understanding of John. Just John. It may not be more useful in his line of work. But he would be happier. Emotionally. Sherlock blinked at the realization. He was surprised, but it felt… true.

It was approaching four in the morning when Sherlock resigned to his bed. He couldn’t stare at the empty chair across from him any longer. If he did he was worried he may throw something, or miss the mantlepiece and stab himself instead with the amount he’d been at it. He let his phone rest on his chest, fingertips to his chin.

He didn’t want to admit it, but his hopes were crumbling around him. John was not calling. John was not coming up the stairs. John had left him on the curb after hitting him once, twice, three times. He found that his chest hurt more than his cheek or nose.

Sherlock was just beginning to resign himself to a few more hours of sitting completely still until it was considered a socially acceptable hour to rise and start a day in the life of the living, when his phone buzzed against his ribs, shocking Sherlock’s eyes open.

John

The screen said John.

Sherlock had barely picked up before he was saying his name.

He was met with a few beats of silence and then, slowly, “You’re awake.”

Sherlock felt pinned against the mattress, “You don’t sound surprised.”

The response was more immediate this time, “I’m not.”

You’re awake.”

Sherlock nearly closed his eyes at the familiar scoff, “Yes, of course I’m awake.”

“I… I’m not surprised… either.” Sherlock had never struggled for words so much in his life.

Silence followed and Sherlock thought he heard John pouring himself tea, or maybe a drink.

“Jesus,” A chair scooted back over the line and John sighed as he sat now, “I’ve not a clue what to say. How’s the nose?”

Sherlock felt himself smile a little at the comment. This was the most normal he had felt in two entire years, “Not as bad as the ribs.”

John chuckled softly, the way he did when he was confused, “What? I didn’t hit you in the ribs.”

“No. You didn’t.”

Silence followed again. Sherlock heard John’s breathing stop and restart, “Sherlock-“

“Don’t worry, I’m okay-“

“No, that’s not the point, Sherlock, the point is that you let me- You let me knock you around when someone else had been doing god knows what god knows where.”

“Don’t worry, you’re much gentler than Serbian interrogators.”

He heard John set his tea down too hard, “What? I- Oh my god, I swear, if you’re joking-“

“I don’t joke.”

Another laugh, this time disbelieving. It sent another shock of relief through Sherlock, “Yes you do, Jesus, Jesus-“

“John. I’m okay-“

“Well, you were dead this morning!”

John’s breathing was harsh over the phone. Sherlock could picture him rubbing his eyes. Sherlock just listened for a moment to the familiar sound. He didn’t know how to start. Sorry was nothing, not what was needed, it wasn’t enough.

“John…” Sherlock let out a breath, “I-“

“Don’t you dare say you’re-“

“I wanted to tell you so many times-“

“God, did you now?” John was nearly fuming again, “That’s the first time you haven’t given into one of your impulses.”

Sherlock closed his eyes. Hardly, John. Hardly.

Sherlock breathed deeply through his nose, “You’re right. I should know better.”

Sherlock heard a clatter that sounded like John throwing his cup in the sink, “Yes. Yes, you should.”

“Maybe I’ll give into one right now.”

A beat of silence, “What?”

Sherlock was already halfway to the door, “I’m coming over.”

The laugh was back, nervous and relieved this time, “Sherlock it’s nearly five-“

“I’m giving into an impulse, John.”

“Right…” A chair scraped back, “Yes, okay. Alright.”

“I’ll catch a cab. Text me the address, would you?”

Sherlock thought he heard a hitch in breath, a small sniff maybe. It made his chest ache, “Yeah.”

Sherlock shrugged half way into his coat, “Okay-“

“Right, can we not say goodbye?”

Sherlock’s brows furrowed, “John?”

“’s just the last time you said…” John couldn’t seem to finish but he didn’t have to.

Sherlock understood. He understood and he knew he’d never utter the word ‘goodbye’ to John Watson again.

“See you soon, John.”

Any recommendations of recent fics that are 100% book canon? Modern AUs are fine, crackfics as well. I just don’t like any show canon in the fics I read. Like not even a hint of it. I swear it, I hate the show so much, I’ll stop reading a fic if Sansa is so much as friend with Shae or Sandor tells her ‘No, little bird, I won’t hurt you’. I know I’m a bit extreme, but I just can’t help it. Anyway, thanks in advance!

This was actually much harder than I thought it would be! I wish we could get adding a tag in AO3 like: no show elements into circulation among writers, because even when tagged ASOIAF there are a lot of show components to many of them. I also tried to tailor them to your tastes, too, lol. No lemoncakes for me if you find one with friend Shae snuck in there.

There’s also this post which is provides instructions how how to further filter out characters, tags, etc that you can check out. Happy reading! - Mod Feather

Edited edition. I didn’t check these for gifsets including Rory Mccann and Sophie Turner, just in case that’s a deal breaker. I can do lists that don’t visually feature them in the future if anyone is interested. - Mod Feather

Leonard was hunched over his desk when you walked into his office, the door already wide open. His head was in his hands and his eyes focused on the PADD before him. The room smelled strongly of antiseptic. He didn’t look up as he spoke gruffly, “I’m off-duty.”

“Congratulations.”

He brought his eyes to meet yours at the sound of your voice. His scleras were reddened and the adjacent skin was darkened. His hair stuck up on all ends. As always, he was scowling. “What do you want?”

“I want a drink,” you said, pulling out the chair directly across from him. You fell into it and placed your feet atop his desk, ignoring his clicks of irritation. “But seeing as alcohol is prohibited in my current state, I’ll settle for a nice heart-to-heart with a friend.”

Heart-to-heart,” he snorted, rolling his hazel eyes with an especially sarcastic frown. “Why’d you really come, sweetheart?”

“Needed to get away from Jim.”

He nodded once and leaned back in his seat. “There we go. Did you tell him yet?”

“Nope,” you answered, popping the p. “I don’t plan on it, either.”

He cracked a smirk, the crooked smile causing an uneven creasing of his skin. He looked to be more awake now than when you first walked in. “Are you waitin’ for the baby to tell him?”

and this one “You were chased by the cops, got in my car and just yelled ‘Drive!’” AU!!

Anonymous: "You were chased by the cops, got in my car and just yelled ‘Drive!“ for an au prompt

Sorry about the ending - this has been sitting in my drafts for two weeks and I was getting impatient… This is on my list to be finished I promise :) (also if you have any ideas on how to end this send me a message or like… write it in the tags???)

  • Neil was relaxing in a borrowed Ford Fiesta that smelled like fish cakes, chugging a lukewarm bottle of water he had just bought from the gas station, and contemplating how much money he could spare on ethanol, when the passenger door swung open and slammed shut in one swift, chaotic movement.
  • “Drive.”
  • He didn’t have time to register how panicked he should be, but the small blonde didn’t seem like someone his father would hire, and his stern command didn’t sound even remotely as threatening as Romero or Malcolm. Even so, Neil calmly set his water bottle in the sticky cup holder and gripped the steering wheel with both hands. “Who are you?”
  • The blonde suddenly rounded on him, his elbow coming up to Neil’s neck and applying pressure before he could even think about reacting. Neil faintly registered the familiar feeling of a knife pressed against his stomach, not quite puncturing the skin. “It doesn’t matter. You see those cops?”
  • Neil followed the blonde’s head tilt to the back window, where he noticed a few cop cars idling behind him in the gas station parking lot. Neil looked back at his captor and nodded as much as he was allowed, which wasn’t much.
  • “I don’t want to be caught by them, and judging by the state of your clothes and the fact that you aren’t even slightly tanned even though your license plate says Arizona, you don’t want to be caught either.”
  • It was a stretch, but Neil certainly didn’t want to spend the night in a police cell anytime soon. He could easily explain away the few accusations the blonde hit him with, but right now he just wanted to be far away from the cops now exiting their vehicles.
  • He tapped the blonde on the arm, “I can’t drive with a knife in my stomach.”
  • He was let go, but the knife remained poised between them. Neil admired the sleek design of it, definitely not something Lola would use, but the serrated edges were sharpened enough to filet a small pig. He shook his head to dismantle the direction of his thoughts and put the car in gear, tires squealing as he peeled out of the gas station parking lot. To his surprise, the policemen didn’t even glance at his vehicle as he pulled onto the nearest two-lane highway. He lowered his speed so he wasn’t breaking any laws, but kept his hand hovering over the gear shift.
  • “I locked the bathroom door and then snuck out the window. They’ll probably be occupied for at least another ten minutes.”
  • “That depends on how smart Columbia cops are,” Neil murmured, doing a few quick calculations in his head. There were three cop cars, two of which were just small city patrollers. The one he was most concerned with was the SUV with California printed on the license plate. Just what exactly did this kid do that warranted the arrival of an out of state cop?
  • “You’re right. 20 minutes.”
  • Neil shifted subtly in his seat to study his companion, who had slouched down and propped his legs on the passenger-side airbag. A study of nonchalance and apathy. “So what did you do?”
  • The kid didn’t answer him for awhile, keeping his eyes forward and expression blank. Neil had almost dropped the subject when the blonde suddenly spoke up, “Turns out cops don’t like it when you escape from their idea of rehabilitation.”
  • Neil considered this as he switched lanes, passing a semi truck who insisted on driving five miles under the speed limit. So the kid was either an escaped convict or an escaped mental patient. Great.
  • “Truth for a truth. What are you doing so far from home, Arizona?”
  • Neil wanted to laugh at the nickname, but he couldn’t find much humor in his current situation. “My mom was relocated for her job. I was on my way to school when you so eloquently barged in on my morning commute.”
  • “Hmmm you seem to think we’re playing truth for a lie.” The blonde didn’t show any hints of anger, but Neil eyed the knife he held over the center console all the same. “Distasteful game. Very one-sided.”
  • Neil rolled his eyes and gripped the steering wheel even harder. The kid was smarter than he originally thought. “I ran away from Arizona. Turns out fathers aren’t all they’re cracked up to be.” Maybe he could give away half-truths and hope for the best.
  • He watched as the blonde digested this information. He didn’t know how long their game would last, but he knew that this car ride wouldn’t end very well. He eyed his duffel bag, tucked away next to the gas pedal at his feet, his mother’s gun safely hidden underneath piles of carefully folded clothes.
  • “Duly noted. Your turn.” The kid motioned with his knife for Neil to continue the game.
  • “Name?”
  • “Andrew. Yours?”
  • “Neil.”
  • “Either you’re used to switching names or you’re actually telling the truth.” Andrew mused while he adjusted the air conditioning.
  • “Glad that I can maintain your faith in humanity.” Neil quipped, swatting Andrew’s hand away from the dial and turning it back the way he had it. “Jail or mental hospital?”
  • “Neither. Juvie.”
  • Neil considered the blonde beside him. He really didn’t know what type of crimes warranted juvie over actual jail, but kidnapping an unsuspecting teenager at a gas station was probably up there on the list of federal offenses.
  • “Got any family left?”
  • Neil suddenly craved a cigarette. “Some. No siblings. You?”
  • “A twin. It was a recent development in my familial drama, so I wouldn’t delve too deep.”
  • Neil wasn’t planning on it.
  • They went on like that for about 30 miles, Neil giving Andrew half-truths about his past and his time in Millport, and Andrew hinting very sarcastically about a less than satisfactory time in juvie. Neil took every other exit on the highway, winding them through dilapidated towns with no real destination in mind. It was a learned behavior, but it came in handy in cases like these.
  • Narrator: it was at this point that @minyavd had @minyardfluff read the headcanon to decide how to end it.
  • Narrator: she did not, in fact, end it
A Valentine's Day Tale

Was supposed to be main PTA Sanders but ended up being Prinxiety centred. Sorry.

Anyway, to the fic

—–

Flowers.

Chocolate.

Games.

Puppy.

Kitty.

Logic growled deeply as he stared at his phone, going through the list for the tenth time that week. Valentine’s Day was coming again and until that week, he had been feeling like that was his year. That he would rock the day with a wonderful present and a date that would forever stay in Morality’s head. And he would like it so much they would do it again, and again, until they started dating, and the dating lead on to copulation and then marriage, probably.

Okay, maybe Anxiety had been right when saying that was basically The Sims but… Logic knew no other way on how things could go. Besides, he didn’t even know if personas like him and Morality could even copulate. Or marry. But that was beyond the point.

Beyond the point because if he didn’t find the perfect gift in time, he would t even find out if it was possible or not.

“Forget the chocolate”

“Go with the flowers”

Logic jumped up in the air when he heard the other two speaking, Anxiety and Prince materialising next to him out of nowhere. He could only wish he knew how to do that. He was the one that least popped in in Thomas’ life and did it even less when it came to the others.

“Flowers?” Anxiety complained, raising his eyebrow and making a disgusted face. “So predictable”

“What do you suggest? You know Logic hates dogs” Prince said, hands on his waist, and Logic raised his hand to intervene, but neither of them were paying attention.

“A game, brilliant minded. A game” Anxiety complained, rolling his eyes. “We all know dad is a child when it comes to board games”

“He does not understand video games, that’s for sure” Prince agreed. “But he’s a child for everything really. Unless he’s giving a lesson”

“Oh, he gives you lessons now?” Anxiety asked, a wide smirk on his face, and Prince blushed before groaning in anger.

“You are the most perverted minded person in this household.” He growled, and then rubbed his eyes. “Why do you have to be creative in the worst way?”

“At least I’m creative. I’m not thinking about giving chocolate and flowers to my probable date on Valentine’s Day, right Logic?” The dark persona teased, still smirking. Only then Logic received the attention back on him and he sighed.

“I am not going to start a discussion with the two of you. This is the information I collected through the weeks of careful observation. There is nothing else” he said, fixing his glasses, but Anxiety rolled his eyes, annoyed.

“He needs a watch. Dad has been asking the time for all of us at least three times a day. He doesn’t have a watch. Give one to him” he said, and Logic’s eyes widened.

“How do you…”

“I pay closer attention than you think” Anxiety assured, and then shrugged. “Thank me later”

“It is a great idea” Prince agreed, and Logic smiled a bit, nodding to himself.

“Yes. Good idea” he said, biting his lip. “Now all I have to do is go out and buy the clock. Thanks!” He got up, grabbing his coat and rushing out of the door straight to the mall. “And good date!”

He was too fast to see how both sides blushed before they headed off to their own rooms.

“Prince! Anxiety!” Morality called from his room just before they could enter their own. The two personas looked at each other before walking slowly to the father’s room, getting inside to see him on the bed surrounded by paper, glue, paint, scissors and glitter. He looked up as they entered, smiling. “Hey!”

“What are you doing here?” Prince asked, a smile growing on his face. “Is this…”

“Yes. I’m making a picture book” Morality said, biting his lip. “But it’s coming harder than I thought. Could you help?”

“Are you giving that to Logic?” Anxiety asked, and the father nodded happily. “Well then you can put it in the fireplace, because he will hate it”

“Anxiety!” Prince complained, as Morality’s face fell.

“What?!” The dark persona replied. “You know I’m right. You should just buy a book about weird facts. Or any book at all. Making a picture book is a waste of time. It’s Logic. He won’t even lie saying he like it. He’s not that sensitive”

“B-but” Morality mumbled, voice breaking slightly, and Prince shushed him, shaking his head.

“Don’t listen to ruin-mood over there. He will love it! I know it. Do you need any help?” He asked, and the father sniffled, rubbing his slightly teary eyes.

“N-no. Anxiety is right. I’ll just buy a random book or whatever” he mumbled, standing up and walking inside his bathroom, leaving Prince and Anxiety alone. The royal stared at the other angrily, but Anxiety just shrugged.

“I am hurting him so he isn’t hurt by his affection”

“You’re just going up in my list, Anxiety” Prince said angrily, standing up from the bed and walking to him. “You don’t know if Logic would like it or not”

“Yes I do. I know how Logic works. He would even say he liked it, but he would lock it up in his closet and never see it again” he shrugged, walking out of the room and being followed by the royal. “Besides, that’s my duty: make sure no one embarrass themselves.”

“Your duty is making people feel bad about what they love” Prince said, coldly. Anxiety felt his chest tighten and looked at Prince angrily.

“Oh what now? That’s how I work. I can’t just be nice to everyone like you can!” He said, clearly offended and upset. “Besides, they love each other already! It’s not like they can’t just give each other a kiss and be done for”

“Damn it Anxiety, for someone that cares so much about doing everything right so there is no embarrassment involved, how can you not see that giving gifts is just as important as declaring your love for someone!” Prince said, outraged. “It’s a demonstration of how much you care about someone. Bought or handmade, expensive or cheap, good or bad, it matters not! The fact that you remembered is all that matters when the person really loves you. Obvious that Logic would prefer an encyclopaedia instead of a handmade picture book, but he would have loved it just the same. And even though you convinced Logic against the puppy or the flowers, Morality would have loved any of those just the same as a clock. You claim to know everything better than everyone because you’re scared of trying and failing, and I get it. But don’t push your fears into others. Specially those two. They deserve each other” Prince said, angrily, taking Anxiety by surprise. “Now I will try to convince Morality to make the book and you stay out of it”

As Prince left, Anxiety started to rethink what he had done, and suddenly the images came to him. The future, good and bad, in all options. The flowers, chocolate, puppy, kitten, book, encyclopaedia. And suddenly, nothing mattered anymore, because in the end, the two were always finishing up together, happier or sadder, but always in love.

‘More glitter!’ He heard Prince saying, and Morality giggles, and he sighed, walking to his room. He hated Valentine’s Day, he hated being wrong, he hated Prince being right, and he hated feeling weak like he was.

And as he entered his room, he stared at the fantasy book in his shelf, standing out from everything else, with a golden cover that shone, the present he had bough to give Prince. Now, it was no use. Prince would never want it.

He laid down on his bed and covered himself up, closing his eyes.

Sleep until the sun went away, for sure.

Prince hadn’t seen Anxiety all day, but now it was night and he was sitting on the stairs, excitedly waiting for Logic’s arrival so he could see the interactions between him and Morality. The father was waiting for the teacher on the couch, holding the handmade book and bouquet of fake flowers. He looked nervous, but happy, his feet moving to calm himself down.

Prince’s eyes widened when the door opened, and Morality jumped up, grinning widely. Then, his eyes widened as well, and Prince frowned, not being able to see Logic because of the location of the door. Morality let the bouquet and the book fall and he rushed out, bringing a soaked up Logic inside.

Only then Prince realised it was raining.

“I think I have a cold” Logic mumbled, completely soaked, and Morality shushed him, sitting him down on the couch.

“Worry not. I’ll grab some towels and make some tea” he said, taking out Logic’s tie and looking up at Prince, who in a jump rushed upstairs to Logic’s room, grabbing three towels and dry clothes before going down again.

“Here” he said, and Morality smiled, taking the clothes and towels as Logic removed his shirt and pants and was quickly wrapped around towels and dried by the father.

“What were you thinking? The time girl said it would rain in the evening” Morality said, and Logic sighed after sneezing.

“I forgot… I had to buy your present” he said, and Morality’s eyes widened. That was Prince’s cue to walk away slowly, returning to the stairs, only to realise that he wasn’t alone now. Anxiety was there as well, watching.

“Present? What present?” The father asked, and the teacher chuckled quietly.

“Your valentine present. I wanted to be your valentine, but everything went terribly wrong” he said, and then removed a case from the pants on the ground. “I saved the present, though. But the roses were destroyed”

“Oh…” Morality mumbled, taking the box and opening it. He smiled widely, taking the black clock out and giggling as he put it around his wrist. “It’s beautiful. Thank you”

“Welcome” Logic mumbled, drying his hair as Morality grabbed the book and the flowers from the floor. “What’s that?”

“Your Valentine’s Day present” he said, and Logic stared at him surprised before taking the presents in his hands and smiling shyly.

“Is this a picture book?” Logic asked, raising an eyebrow, and Morality nodded, looking at the ground. “And fake flowers?”

“Well yeah… I don’t know if you would like it but…” He started, but Logic shook his head and grinned.

“I loved it” he said, and Morality squealed contently before hugging the other tight. “Wait! I’m all wet!”

“I don’t care” the father giggled, kneeling down between Logic’s legs and grinning at him. “Will you be my valentine?”

“I already am” Logic said, rolling his eyes, and before he could react, Morality wrapped his arms around his neck and kissed him hard, making Logic put his hand on the father’s waist out of instinct but quickly respond to the kiss, pulling him closer and forgetting about the fact that he was wrapped in towels while not wearing much.

Prince smiled as the two realised that, Logic blushing deeply and Morality laughing, and he then sighed romantically.

“You were right after all” anxiety muttered next to him, and Prince raised one eyebrow, looking at the persona next to him.

“Well it’s not everyday that I listen that” he said, but Anxiety just sighed, looking away. “Hey. I am sorry too. I didn’t mean to let it all out like that”

“No, you were right” he said, rubbing his eyes. “I was being an asshole, as usual. I should have just let them be”

“Oh shush it you. No time for self pity” Prince said, and then slowly took a small box from his pocket. “Happy Valentine’s Day, Jason toddler” he teased, giving it to Anxiety, making his eyes widen. “I really liked that nickname”

“I see…” Anxiety muttered, taking the box and opening it slowly, before a small smile creeped up his lips. “Eyeshadow? Really Roman?”

“You never call me by my name” Prince gasped, and smirked. “Does that mean you like me now?”

“Nah” Anxiety said, and then sighed, taking out the book from behind him. “I bought something for you too”

“Is this a fantasy book?” Prince asked, eyes wide as he took the book in hands and opened it. “It’s the fantasy book…”

“Well I…” Anxiety muttered, but Prince shook his head, leaning forward and giving him a tight hug.

“I loved it. Thank you” he said, smiling widely and pulling back, only to be held by Anxiety, the dark persona holding onto his clothes. “Anxiety..?”

No more could have been said. Anxiety swallowed his pride and his fears and moved in, pressing his lips to Prince’s in a quick, chaste kiss - very unlike Morality’s - before jumping up and rushing upstairs to his room, leaving a confused, blushing prince behind.

“Geez Prince, the bell really rang in your midnight ball” Morality said, smiling from under the stairs, while Logic chuckled.

“Your carriage finally became pumpkin hun? How are you feeling?” Logic asked, and Prince stared at them confused and embarrassed.

“What just happened?” He asked, shakily, and the other two chuckled deeply.

“Your date just ran away to, let me quote, 'hide under the covers until the sun goes away’” Logic said, smiling in the most relaxed way Prince had ever seen.

“And you should go after him” Morality nodded, grinning. “Because that’s what good dates do”

“I… Well…” Prince mumbled, and then stood up. “Okay” he took a deep breath. “Good night for you two”

“Thanks!” Morality smiled.

“We will” Logic assured, smiling, and Prince smiled back, before rushing up to Anxiety’s room, knocking on the door.

“Go away Ana” Anxiety growled from inside, and Prince couldn’t help but chuckle lightly, still holding the book that was given to him.

“I don’t want to build a snowman, Ann” he said, rolling his eyes and then looking at the door handle. “It’s not locked. You don’t have a lock”

“Well then come in uninvited. We have already discussed the whole consent thing” anxiety replied, but Prince only smirked.

“I didn’t consent for the kiss you gave me” he teased, and Anxiety growled, making him giggle as he opened the door. “Really though, no harm done” he said as he entered the dark room. In the bed, there was a lump under the covers, and Prince closed the door before walking to the bed and sitting next to the lump. “Talk to me Ann”

“I’m mute, like Ariel” Anxiety mumbled, shuffling away from Prince. “Leave me alone”

“Learn sign language. I know it” Prince said, and then slowly moved one hand up to the covers, pulling them down slowly to reveal a very shaken Anxiety, blushing deeply with tears on his eyes. The royal frowned, worried, and stared at him. “Ann, why are you crying?”

“I’m not” he mumbled, rubbing his eyes and destroying his make up. His voice was even for someone as upset as him. “What do you want?”

“Talk, perhaps? You did kiss me down there you know? I wasn’t expecting that” he said, smiling, but Anxiety just huffed.

“I wasn’t expecting a valentine gift either and here we are” he mumbled, and Prince sighed before laying down next to Anxiety and placing his hand on the other’s waist, over the blankets. Anxiety froze at the touch, before making himself relax. “Prince, what are you doing?”

“Well… What I should have done long ago, I guess” he said, before moving a bit closer and pressing their noses together. “Happy Valerinetine’s Day” he teased, before moving forward and kissing Anxiety, pulling him closer by his waist and wrapping the arm around him.

Anxiety took no second to answer the kiss, pressing closer and kissing back while putting his hands over Prince’s cheek, his body melting at the contact.

“Well, everything worked out in the end” Logic said, his arm around Morality’s waist as they watched them through a small crack on the door. Morality nodded, grinning, and turned to his date, who was now dressed up again in his usual attire.

“Let’s make dinner” he said, grabbing Logic’s hand and pulling him downstairs with a giggle.

Welp, Valentine’s Day for the win, he guessed.

Headcanon for Rfa (+ trio, if you like) upon discovering MC is gifted at massage? This can be as tame or nsfw as you please 😄 hope I did this right...😶

So I’m actually a massage therapist IRL, and this is great, it’s just….. I just wanted to say, I’m happy that this is a request, it’s nice, but this will NEVER be NSFW because the sexualization of my profession is a very real problem, and… I would like to request you all to avoid sexualizing it in the future.

Well, with that serious note out of way, let’s get to this!

Yoosung

  • He was super stressed out over a term paper he had to finish
  • Yoosung had been hunched over a desk all weekend, writing, working, and stressing
  • So MC came up behind him and began rubbing his shoulders when he had his head in his hands
  • The simple action made Yoosung immediately relax and slump backwards into his chair, allow MC a better angle
  • They talked a little as she rubbed his shoulders
  • When she stopped, Yoosung was sleepy and distracted, but it was also late and he had school the next day, so MC dragged him off to bed
  • He started asking for shoulder rubs from time to time after that
  • After a while, MC teaches him how to return the favor so that he can take care of her too

Jaehee

  • Jaehee invited MC over after a long day at the cafe, and they started watching a Zen movie over some popcorn and tea
  • Then MC noticed the way Jaehee was sitting, with her feet elevated and a cold compress on them
  • When she offered to massage Jaehee’s feet, Jaehee wasn’t expecting much, but the moment MC started digging in, she nearly passed out
  • In fact, within minutes, she completely fell asleep with MC massaging her feet
  • When Jaehee woke up, her feet felt like they were new, like she could put weight on them without pain
  • She was so impressed, Jaehee asked MC to teach her
  • Afterwards, MC and Jaehee made it a point to meet up once a week, watch something together, and rub each other’s feet while on the couch
  • MC even buys and brings some peppermint lotion to help with the massage

Zen

  • Zen was freaking out
  • He’d had a crick in his back for a few days and it wasn’t going away, so he was super concerned
  • When Zen described the pain and the location, MC knew exactly what was hurting him
  • So she had Zen lay face down on the bed, topless for easy access to his back, then she stood next to him and got to work
  • MC moved her hands in ways he never would have thought of, following invisible lines with the tips of her fingers, digging in harder than he thought she would or could in some places
  • When MC moved away, he’d zoned out, and slowly came back to reality at the sound of her voice
  • When she asked him how he was feeling, he dreamily said, “good” not even thinking about the pain he’d been in
  • About 15 minutes later, however, Zen got his clarity of mind back and realized, “my pain is gone!”
  • He gushed to MC about what a good job she does, and while she blushes, she says, “well I should hope so after all that training I went through.”

Jumin

  • Jumin came home cranky because he’d had a horrible headache all day and it just wasn’t going away
  • When MC heard what was wrong, she took off his tie, loosened his shirt, and told him to lay down with his head at the foot of the bed
  • Jumin wasn’t sure what she was planning, especially not when she turned off the lights, but when she sat down on a little stool and started rubbing his neck, his eyes dropped shut
  • With a few minutes, Jumin had drifted off into a half sleep where he could feel her hands moving his head and massaging his neck, shoulders, and scalp
  • When she told him she was done, he opened his eyes, looking directly up into hers, and realized the pain was gone
  • He kissed her in gratitude
  • MC explained she’d learned how to give massages before she’d met him, and if he ever needed another, all he had to do was ask

Saeyoung

  • It had been a long day for Saeyoung as he’d spent 90% of it hacking and chasing off hackers that wanted to catch him
  • So when he comes out of his cave at long last and finds MC rubbing Saeran’s shoulders (Saeran had started having a panic attack and MC did it try to calm him down), Saeyoung wants a shoulder rub too!
  • Of course, he waits his turn, and once Saeran gets up to go get some ice cream (today, he goes with mint chocolate chip), Saeyoung sits up a little straighter in anticipation
  • MC has him straddle a chair and the moment she starts working on him, he relaxes, and five minutes later, he’s completely asleep as she works down his back
  • She has to jostling him awake, and once he’s conscious (though a little bleary eyed), he says, “You really are too good for me.”
  • Of course, from then on, as an excuse to make physical contact, he begins exchanging massages with her
  • MC teaches both him and Saeran how to properly give a massage, even pulling out her massage table and chair, which she rarely uses, to teach them the body mechanics of it
  • In a couple of months, Saeyoung’s more relaxed than he can ever remember being, as he’s practically receiving a massage every day

“Hey, thought i’d stop by on my break. How’s the day going?” You let yourself into your fellow teachers classroom. You had both been quite close since he started working at the collage. Meeting each other whenever you could and sometimes going out for the lunch break together. Though strictly as  work friends, of course.

“Just the usual.” Laurens said, giving you a warm but tired smile. Which suited him more than you’d like to admit.

“What’s that?” You tilted your head to try and read what was on the large chalk board. Some sort of heart and name, but you didn’t really know of what.

“It seems to be our ‘ship name’.” He chuckled, blushing very slightly. “They seem to think we’re together. But i’m sure they really know we’re not.”

“Oh, really?” You bit your lip, trying to suppress the smirk that was beginning to be harder and harder to hide. You hated to admit it, but you liked the thought of you two being a thing. More than just flirty co-workers. “i don’t think we would need a ship name to make a cute couple.”

“Couldn’t agree more.” He cheekily winked. Making you have the chills. Why was he so charming?

“Well, i best be off. But… If you want to go out for dinner, i’m always open.” You decided to just go before doing anything stupid. Waving a goodbye at him before closing the door. You let out a deep sigh as soon as you were in the hall. Wow.
