well this was a raging success

Yuuei Highschool Host Club AU

I just really need this ok

Midoriya Izuku was luck enough to get a scholarship at Yuuei thanks to his relations with All Might. They weren’t really well off so education at those kinds of school are not really within his access. But All Might has given him a chance to go do just that and he’s been studying day and night to get his good grades and become a successful hero. Until, he well got lured lost in the room of a certain host club and broke a vase worth 8M yen. He has then been enslaved worked as a host for the club to pay off the broken vase.

The hosts are the following:

1. Bakugou Katsuki (Bad Boy Tsundere Type) - You will just love Bakugou. Actually, everyone will just kinda love him. Or hate him with a burning passion. There is no in between. He might seem furious but inside his heart is actually a more furious and raged man but beneath all that is actually a boy who is tsundere for you. You may find yourself being careful around him but the longer you linger, the more you catch on to his tsundere charms and then, you are stuck forever. He is actually also very smart, despite his love for profane words. He also won UA’s hero tournament and has been holding the title for  2 years. Also self-proclaimed leader of the host club.

2. Todoroki Shouto (Hot & Cold Type) - Todoroki Shouto is unpredictable if anything. Sometimes, he has the warmest of smiles that get you all jittery and on other days, he has the coldest of stares that will leave you shaking. His capricious nature gets people more interested in him. The reason why Todoroki acts as such is said to be one of the 7 mysteries of Yuuei among others. He is also the son of the top  Hero, Endeavor, although he does not like to talk about it. Never talk to him about Endeavor unless you want to see his cold stares but if you want to see them, then be my guest. But mind you, there are repercussions.

3. Iida Tenya (Serious & Earnest Type) - Iida Tenya is a good choice for first timers at the host club. He is sensible and easy to converse with, although, he sometimes get out of hand with his speeches talking. A true gentleman, this one. He won’t ever push you or make you feel uncomfortable. Sometimes though, the more cunning and devious girls end up teasing him with matters of the heart until he gets beet red and inexplicably flustered. But that is, in its own right, a sight to behold. Most people visit him for that awkward blush.

4. Kirishima Eijirou (Upbeat & Friendly Type) - Kirishima Eijirou is also one that is well recommended for starters. He knows your cues and knows how to read people unlike Iida. Plus, he’s a natural mood maker so if you want light conversation and a good time, he’s the one. He’s also a good listener so if you are having troubles, he’ll gladly lend you an ear and try to give you advice. Has an obsession with ‘manly’ things and there is 101% chance that if you show him something manly, he will become a helpless puppy.

5. Shouji Mezou (Gentle & Kind Type) - Do not let Shouji Mezou’s rough and intimidating exterior fool you. He is actually the kindest of souls. Even as they call him Tentacles because of his quirk, he actually the most gentle of group. Mezou is also a good listener but unlike Kirishima, he rarely gives out advice, if he actually ever does. So if it is him, then you can go pour your heart out.

6. Kaminari Denki (Flirty & Dorky Type) - Kaminari Denki is a natural flirt. He knows your daily pick up lines and the like. You could say he knows how to make you feel the sparks between the two of you. But if you don’t laugh at his jokes or react the way he expects you too, he panics real bad. Most of his visitors actually go just want to go see him flail and be confused because it is actually what makes him cute. Sadly, he does not know about this. His fans will protect that secret to their graves.

7. Midoriya Izuku (Pure & Perfect Type) - Izuku is an idea son man. He is humble and understanding. He can converse with you with pretty much any topic but talk to him about heroes and his eyes glisten like the waters of the sea and his smile, oh god, his smile will dispel all the impurities in your heart. He is a cinnamon roll, too good for this world, too pure. He also will try to help you with 200% of things. Just don’t take advantage of his kindness because that might earn you the wrath of the other guys in the host club *cough* Bakugou *cough* Todoroki *cough*.

scenes and stuff:

But imagine Deku buying ‘commoner coffee’ and Bakugou being angry like “wtf is this shit deku?! i swear” but Deku is saved by Kirishima who fools Bakugou into drinking it as a form of ‘challenge’.

But also imagine Kacchan being hella confused because Deku is cute, CUTE. And Kacchan protecting Deku from one of his less saner fangirls and Deku thanking kacchan but Kacchan refusing the thank you because it is his responsibility, yada yada. But is secretly happy about it.

Kirishima watching in the distance and feeling both happy and sad because Bakugou is rarely ever truly happy but Bakugou is happy because of someone else. Kirishima who has been keeping his feelings with Bakugou at bay until Deku came. Just jealous Kirishima.

And also Deku having to wake up Todoroki, who is terrifying when woken by someone else, because he fell asleep at the host club room. And oh god, Todoroki pulls Deku’s hand when Deku called on him causing Deku to go fall in Todoroki’s chest.

Iida and Izuku reviewing together in the library and accidentally touching each other’s hand while trying to get something because both were too engrossed in studying that they didn’t have time to look.

Club treasurer Tsuyu and secretary Uraraka because someone or in this case some two need to watch the guys in the host club and make sure Izuku is safe and kept pure.

Also, Uraraka making all the guys float when girls begin hording at them in hallways. And Tsuyu retrieving them all with her trusty frog tongue.

Also, Uraraka and Tsuyu always being together and helping each other out that they actually fall in love with each other but the other party thinks they are in love with Izuku so Uraraka and Tsuyu try to set each other up with Izuku when they should just be admitting their love for each other.

alphalionheart  asked:

Aye, I liked how you answered the KoH powers! That thing you said about the Knight using bladeKind and shieldKind but boosting it with their soul reminded me of how the Japanese used to think that when someone created something they put a part of their soul in it; it was totally on point! Also, um... Well I hate to be annoying, but could you perhaps analyze my Session? We're a Knight of Heart (duh XD), Rogue of Space, Witch of Rage, Thief of Time, Mage of Void, and Bard of Mind. Thanks! :3c

No problem, sorry for this taking so long though.

Your session will likely be successful, as you have the required Space and Time players. The Rogue of Space will at first be uncomfortable with how seemingly random Space is, but after learning how to properly utilize it they will be a great asset to the team, using their powers to benefit others. The Mage will use their knowledge of Void to help the Rogue in bringing the new universe into reality. They will also be able to use that knowledge to predict oncoming threats and help them team prepare for them. The Thief, will initially have trouble using their powers to help others but helping to create the new universe will teach them to cooperate and make them want to help their friends. Afterwards they’ll stop time and go on their own to prevent their teammates from getting hurt. Oddly enough the Knight and Thief would work together in defending the team. The Thief would probably irritate the Knight to the point of breaking their facade and activating their soul weapons. Thus, helping the Knight defend the rest of the team. The Bard of Mind will be able to destroy the mental state of their enemies, helping the Knight finish them off. The Witch of Rage, will help the team keep a level head. Manipulating Rage, they’ll be able to calm the team and keep them from making rash decisions. On the other hand, they will be able to amplify the Rage or fear of their enemies, blinding them of their true intentions. The Witch and Knight will also make a great team, the Knight exploiting emotion and the Witch amplifying the anger of enemies would render them unable to properly think, thus making outwitting them much easier. The Witch of Rage may be a bit of a loose cannon however, so the Bard of Mind will often have to keep them in check. Possibly in a moirail way *cough cough*

Akuma in Magic: the Gathering

Akuma in Magic the Gathering

As many of you know, I am a big fan of fighting games, and one character to me sticks out beyond any of the rest; Akuma, from the Street Fighter series.

This antagonist of the series is the main character’s adoptive uncle. He can tap into a power known as the Satsui no Hado (Translation: Surge of Murderous Intent).  But what exactly is this power? Well, it is a form of spiritual energy rooted in the darker parts of humanity’s instincts. The desire to survive and to trample over others in order to achieve success, the Dark Hado is a very corrupting influence and can drive the user insane if they are not prepared. Learning to control the Satsui no Hado is the first step in learning the Shun Goku Sastu (Raging Demon), but more on that later. Those who do succeed in controlling it, they become extremely powerful, but at the cost of losing their humanity and compassion; they develop a cold, negative outlook on life and a nihilistic detachment from themselves, as well as other people, and develop an obsessive, dark, murderous, even suicidal desire to fight. Akuma is no exception, losing all compassion and humanity as he became more and more corrupted by the Dark Hado. He is often described as a demon is a person who’s only desire is to seek combat, power, and search for a fight that will cost him his life. This nihilistic approach to combat stems from the Dark Hado as well. Akuma think that only another user of the Satsui no Hado can hope to one day defeat him, and take the mantle as master of the fist, as Akuma once did from his old master, Gotetsu. Akuma, when fighting an opponent he deems unworthy, restrains himself and his Hado in order to make it a fair fight for his opponent. If he deems his opponent worthy he gives into his full power, becoming Shin Akuma (True Akuma) and going all out on his foe. He seems somewhat aware of his own demise, and how it will eventually rage against him. This shadow is thought to be Oni, the form Akuma will take when the Satsui no Hado completely takes him over.

“One must defeat one’s own shadow, one’s own demon, or he is condemned to nothingness. I have dwelled in darkness and have conquered it.”

I mentioned earlier the Raging Demon, which is by far Akuma’s most powerful attack, it is the most lethal technique known to him. While the executed attack is a brutal onslaught of merciless fury, the basis of the attack is said to be linked to karmic forces drawn from the influence of the Satsui no Hado, channelling an infernal punishment in which the weight of sins and evil the victim has committed attacks their soul. While immensely powerful, this attack cannot work on artificial life forms or people who lack souls.

“The Raging Demon… Its power is unequalled… It is not my fist but your past sins that will kill you… The more evil your past doings, the more painful your death…

By now, you’re probably thinking “That’s great Joe, but how does this all fit into mtg?”

Well, that’s kind of the purpose of this, to see where this demonic fighter could possibly fit into Magic: the Gathering.

I honestly think Akuma is a great fit. He is a wandering warrior. He could be a wandering planeswalker, seeking the strongest warriors in the multiverse, which would naturally put him in the path of the Gatewatch, Akuma, challenging each of the Gatewatch in turn and finding each unworthy, so he turns his sights elsewhere, to bigger, more powerful warriors.

“A wandering planeswalker hunting down the strongest warriors? Sounds an awful lot like Garruk to me.”

Exactly. It is meant to. Garruk, in his twisted quest to hunt down the strongest prey, meets Akuma, who wants to do exactly the same thing. The two lock eyes, the greatest battle the respective ‘walker has ever had. Garruk, a noble warrior twisted by a curse, vs Akuma, a powerful fighter corrupted by dark energy. The battle ends in a stalemate, with each going their separate ways. This leads Akuma directly to Nicol Bolas on Amonkhet, the ultimate quarry for Akuma is at hand, the most powerful being in the multiverse, his to kill…

┊It had come through with her; she had no idea how. The beast rampaging through the forest with unbridled rage, everything in its path laid to waste. Chasing it down, Ceba sicced her hound on it in attempt to slow it down. Yodare, her muscular and well-built canine ran it down and chomped at the creatures ankles. The satyr type beast bellowed in pain as it swung around, smacking the dog away. “Yodare!” Ceba yelled in surprise.  The hounds attack was successful; the creature was now limping.

Storming up to the beast, the Valkyrie brandished her war hammer. With a loud exclamation, “Calamity!” The weapon would glow red, a shrill shriek of magic slicing through the air. Slamming her weapon to the ground a fissure of lava would spear towards the beast, and at the end of the cast erupt with a lava plume. The beast, heavily wounded, snarled back in defiance before turning.

Ceba hand’t noticed it before but a young woman in white was in the vicinity. The Valkyrie had just now seen her, and so did the beast. It would bellow in rage at the unarmed woman while leaping for her. Ceba, quick on her feet, managed to get herself between the monster and girl. Raising her buckler and inciting “Guard!” a forward shield would take most of the attack. However, it shattered and sent Ceba flying away into some brush. The creature snarled once more before using a sort of teleport magic and fleeing.

Ceba, on the ground, was clutching her shield arm, growling in pain. Forcing herself up, groaning and brushing herself off. Wandering over to the woman, she gave a nonchalant smile. “You okay? I hope that thing didn’t hurt you.” She asked. Yodare, Ceba’s dog, trotted over to the woman. He was limping on a hind leg, whimpering, but sniffling at the new person.┊

The flag itself is not the issue of racism!“
"The State, in fact, thoroughly relies on systemic racism to function. Minorities are disproportionately represented in prison populations around the country. They are targeted by police. They are targeted by government-insured bank loans with ridiculously high interest rates. Minorities are targeted in mainstream media as thugs when anger boils over into justifiable rage from being continuously and unfairly targeted.
The crying shame of it all is the government’s two-pronged “win” from this madness. Not only was the distraction successful, but a nationalist coup arose, as well.
Vociferous outrage toward one flag led the masses to take up defense of another—the American flag. How cruelly ironic. Erstwhile latent nationalism is rediscovered by proxy when one flag becomes unacceptable. In the blink of an eye, the iconic American symbol didn’t seem half bad. Nevermind that the government it represents depends on actualized racism as an institution.
At least it’s not the Confederate flag.

Ethan was tracking a ghost.

This job was the hardest he’d had in two years. Two years ago he’d made his exodus from S.H.I.E.L.D, and since then he’d spent his time building a professional name for himself. He’d found quite a bit of success, as well.

Being a mercenary certainly wasn’t a lifestyle that lead to the betterment of society, but it was the only one for him. knowing that he’d kill again was the only way Ethan could stave off the rage  f e s t e r i n g  in the pit of his stomach. Sure, he’d tried other measures, but this was all he knew.

Tracking the Winter Soldier had been quite the feat, and Ethan allowed himself to feel pride that he’d actually managed it. He perched on the top of an apartment building, w a t c h i n g  the street below, waiting for the soldier to return.
