well not a big fan~

It has come to my attention that, regrettably, there are certain exotic animal owners who knowingly and willfully try to hide the law and will attack those who share it openly online because they believe that knowledge of the law puts their “community” at risk of being busted.

Well I’ve never been a big fan of online bullies, much less online bullies who try to hide laws. So I’m gonna go ahead and remind all 8,100 of my beloved followers that the rabies vaccine in the USA is proven to work on domestic dogs and cats in clinical trials only. This means if you have an exotic like a raccoon, a fox, or a wolf or wolf hybrid and it bites someone, it can be forcibly removed from your care and destroyed so its head can be sectioned to test for rabies.

The rabies vaccine offers these animals NO legal protection even if it does actually prevent rabies, because the government does not recognize the vaccines efficacy on a legal level. This is the sad truth of the law. It isn’t scientific but it’s there.

This information is important to anyone ever considering adopting, fostering or even temporarily caring for an exotic mammal. Why certain people in these circles wish to keep such potentially fatal information hidden is beyond me.

So, again, I reiterate (just to make them mad) that the rabies vaccine offers no legal protection to an exotic such as a fox, raccoon, wolf or wolfdog if it bites someone. (Wolfdogs are occasionally treated like domestic dogs but dont count on it!)

Lack of knowledge of rabies control law can lead to tragedy for anyone responsible for exotics.

Osomatsusan and Tunogai (2017)

つのがい@sunxoxome Tunogai is a female manga artist(her portrait in her manga is a male) who published a comedy manga “こんなブラックジャックはイヤだ Konna Black Jack Wa Iyada (I Don’t Want to See Black Jack Like This)” in January.
she started posting a parody manga of the legendary manga artist, Osomu Tezuka on twitter in 2015, and her manga soon became popular and famous.

a few years ago, when she was between jobs and had nothing to do, a friend of her sent her a complete set of Tezuka’s masterpiece, Black Jack. that chenged her life.
she had never learned how to draw pictures before, and had never drawn manga, but quickly developed her talent.
and Tezuka’s daughter, CEO of Tezuka Productions, Rumiko Tezuka found her, and officially approved her as an artist of Tezuka’s paroby manga. what a success story!

Tunogai is also well known as a big fan of Osomatsusan, and drew the sextuplets in a Tezuka style in her manga. (she says, the most favorite character is their mother, Matsuyo, though)

Tezuka and Akatsuka (the original manga artist of Osomatsukun) respected each other as artists.
in some works of Tezuka, the sextuplets made cameo appearances.
so, no wonder that Osomatsusan appeared in a parody manga of Black Jack.

Holy shit, only I would typo with fucking handwriting.  Such a dork.  Okay, re-uploading without the extra B.  Sheesh.

Oh, so anyway, I think they totally hugged on the steps after the camera turned off.

ok so now that I saw a gif of the hug...

I realised that Belle was totally going in for a kiss there.

(gif mine, because I’m not sure on the etiquette here)

Anyway, see her hands? She was going for his face and then remembered “Oh, right, we’re not quite doing that yet”

You will tear this theory from my cold, dead hands, alright?

Could you maybe show us an evolution of your drawings? (Even before this blog?) I love the fact that you are self-taught. I'm not good at drawing but I would love to give it a go, but I would appreciate some motivation by seeing your evolution (if you don't mind)? Big fan! x

Well, basically all digital art that I’ve drawn is posted on this blog, or at least on my dA account :) Although I did delete a few! So I guess I can bring them back… *cringe*

Okay so… In 2015 I got really into Harry Potter and was inspired by all those fanartists, so I tried drawing some stuff of my own. I didn’t have a tablet yet, I was just trying the waters, seeing if digital art is even something I’d be interested in. Here are Hermione and Draco’s portraits I did in mid-November 2015 (I think I was drawing with my mouse, or I might have been using a touch pen on my Asus laptop that has a touch screen, but it’s very tough to work with, not like a tablet at all, no pressure sensitivity, no precision)

Ugh the cringe…. :D

I mean if you scroll to the very bottom of my dA page you’ll find more stuff like this, if you’re interested.
But yeah, those portraits are pretty much the first digital drawings I’ve done.

Continuing with portraits, 4 months later (mid-March 2016) I did Hermione and Draco again, this time already using my graphic tablet and also using references:

Already much better! Yet, to me, still cringy :D I haven’t yet redrawin these portraits (I am planning to), but if we look at my newest portraits (from Ravenclaw set since that one’s the latest, it was completed in February 2017 which is almost a year later from the previous ones), you can see that I have improved a lot too!

They look so much cleaner, every brushstroke has much more purpose, there’s more symmetry and logic and all those things. I like how my portraits changed, not sure how others feel :)

The biggest change in my art was me starting to use references. It helps so much with getting proportions and perspective and body movements right.
And then it was just all about continuing to learn and polishing my style through practice and frequent drawing :) As I did more and more portraits, it sort of felt as though I’ve always been doing them the same way, as though my portraits look the same and no progress is done, but as you can see, during one year, the way I draw changed, or rather got a bit better and precise, so while it didn’t feel as though I’m improving as I’m drawing, when looking back, the progress is visible.

So just take your time :) Miracles won’t happen in a short period of time, especially if you don’t draw at least a couple of times a week (last year in spring-summer I drew like 5-12 drawings a week, so that totally made a difference). You will improve, I promise, but looking at other artists’ art, trying to figure out how they did it, trying out different tools, and learning from references will surely speed up the process of making progress. So yeah, I hope this helps a little :) Sorry I only showed portraits here, I just thought they’re good to show art evolution with since I drew so many of them. Good luck mate! <3

So this was just supposed to be mtmte Rodimus, but why not do other version of him as well?

I LOVE mtmte Rodimus, sadly wasn’t a big fan of him in g1! his animated version is also really cool, too bad he didn’t get that much screentime…

and hey remember how I complained about drawing the Prime versions? turns out mtmte versions are equally hard to chibify

A lot of my friends recommended I watch The100 (I’m a big fan of scifi) as well as figure out what “Clexa” was all about, so I binge watched S1~3 on Netflix.

Lexa is definitely one of my favorite TV show characters now, she’s a young badass that has a soft and naive side.

S3 made me super happy about Clexa, until the show threw me down a bottomless pit like 2 seconds later and I have nothing to look to now…………………… wow………… uh here’s some drawings

fish-and-chicken-nuggets-please  asked:

If you haven't already, could give some too things to keep in mind while writing Ron for the meme? I don't think I've ever found a Harry Potter author that writes him as well as you do- I'm a big fan!!

Aw, thank you!

Things I keep in mind when writing Ron Weasley:
1. His motivations are personal, not heroic or moral, which does not mean he doesn’t do heroic things.
2. He’s Harry’s best friend. They like each other. He’s one of Hermione’s best friends. They also like each other.
3. He’s one of the most fun characters to parallel with minor antagonists:
3a. Ex. Draco Malfoy– the purebloods raised in wizardry, with parents who love them, the heirs of a long heavy legacy of two Houses, the Hat barely touching their heads before Sorting.
3b. Ex. Petunia Evans Dursley– he’s a superior example of how to balance your bitterness, jealousy, and love for your siblings, both blood and not.
4. He beat frickin’ McGonagall at wizard’s chess at age eleven. This child is not stupid.
5. He assessed the situation, considered the options, and then stood still and let a giant enchanted queen violently take him down in order to win that game, at age eleven. This child is brave, loyal, and tough as hell.

Thank you to other fandoms for amazing support

People worldwide are showing their support for BIG BANG member T.O.P, and everyone who loves him, while he is in the hospital. On June 6, T.O.P was taken to the hospital due to an overdose of prescription tranquilizers. A police source has stated that he is currently not in critical condition, although he remains in the hospital. This follows T.O.P’s recent dismissal from his mandatory military duties due to being prosecuted for marijuana use. On Twitter, the hashtag “StayStrongTOP” trended at No. 2 worldwide around 2 a.m. KST on June 7, and remains in the top 3 at the time of this article’s publication. The hashtag is being used not only by BIG BANG fans (VIP), but also people from other fandoms, as supporters worldwide send their encouragement to T.O.P and wish him the best, as well as show their support for BIG BANG and their fans during this difficult time. SERIOUSLY TANK YOU GUYS SOO MUCH IT MEANS TO US VIPS A LOT I CAN’T EVEN EXPLAIN HOW PROUD I AM OF KPOP WORLDWIDE COMMUNITY

a/n: ahh!!! this one is a bit more abnormal and all dialogue, with no actions or feelings or explanations etc!! if this isnt your thing then dont feel obligated to read it. but it is rlly natural and kind of fun to read at points and i feel like its very connor-esque. this will be split into 2 parts for your easy reading because text talk format might get annoying after a while (and ignore any mistakes i make in the format set up its a lot of work) but… enjoy ?? <3 btw all poetry is mine dont steal xoxo
