Pairing: Taehyung x Reader
Genre: Smut, Angst, bestfriend!au, university!au
Word Count: 4.5k
A/N: Original request here .

Loving Kim Taehyung was like treasuring a forbidden artifact – you could appreciate it and love it from afar, but you could never touch it, never have it – just stand still and admire from a distance. Just like the artifact, he was untouchable and you could never have him the way you always wished for. Why? Well that was because he was your best friend since you were toddlers, but that was it.

You two were inseparable. Always playing and working together, making your classmates assume that you two liked each other. Of course, every time that accusation was made, you’d both deny it while saying how gross it was – but even then you knew you were lying.

At the mere age of 14, you realized that you didn’t just have a silly little crush on him anymore, no, you had fallen deeply in love with him. But who didn’t? His affectious boxy smile and playful bright attitude attracted many people towards him over the years, much to your dismay. But Taehyung always brushed it aside, and kept his attention solely on you. That is, once you two entered high school, then it all changed for the worse.

Unlucky Nine: A list of antis you may or may not have encountered in the vld fandom

Start Note: When I mention [Ship Name] Anti, it means a shipper of that ship who is also anti of another ship mentioned depending on the context as opposed to Anti-[Ship Name] which is someone who is an anti of the ship mentioned.

I. “Ship K/ance or Sha//ura or my ship instead” anti

These antis are just assholes. They insult other ships that contend to their own. These antis are prevalent in Sheith, Kallura and sometimes Shidge tags.

You get K/ance antis calling Sheith yaoi culture but then they totally change Keith and Lance’s character to fit the same trope. I was so pissed the other day because someone took Lance and just shoved Uke™ on him to fit an AU where he crushes on Keith.

You got K/ance & Sha//ura antis calling Kallura heteronormative but we aren’t the ones who’re forcing a mom troupe on her despite her not being really motherly. (Hunk is the mom friend but let us forget the fat character for aesthetics) You get them saying they love Allura but her story line, which focuses on her duty and willingness to sacrifice anything for it, is shoved for some romance. (Allura, although possibly having some romantic take to it, did not save Shiro because she had a fucking crush on him. She saved him because he needed saving and she viewed his role to Voltron as more important than hers.Stop acting like it is a canon romantic scene. No real scene in Voltron is really inherently romantic.)

You got K/ance shouting if Kallura happens, there won’t be any representation (m/m) but we still got Shiro, Lance and Hunk. Yes, we still got Shunk, Shance and Hance. if we go poly, there is Shunce. And if we dig deeper and you are willing, add Coran into the mix(I’m shoran trash undeniably).

You got them saying Shidge is wrong but the most official thing we got is actually the OFFICIAL Voltron site (whose content probably was made known to the entire crew and was advertised to the general public) saying ‘5 teens.’ But let us dwell on a half-baked video where a person throws numbers into some of the crew’s mouths. Let us not dwell on how Allura has no one bit of an age meter. For all we know, she could be a centuries old Alien. But sure why not, dwell on Shidge.

They put their ships on high pedestals to trample on other ships but you are probably a hateful bitch when you call them out on their shit.

II. “Shiro is spacedad” anti (bonus points for Allura as space mom)

These antis believe Shiro is a grandpa. They seem him as a father figure which would have been okay because let us admit that at some point the space dad joke were funny UNTIL PEOPLE TOOK THEM SERIOUSLY. Unlike the typical fan who laugh at the jab, these people take things to far and actually think it is canon. Shiro is actually a dad. “How dare you hc Shiro as a young and vulnerable character instead of my perfect space dad™?” All that crap.

But if you remember Prisoner Shiro, Kerberos Shiro, he looks pretty young. If you change back his hair before the frosty tips, remove the scar and the buff bara bod (he probably got from fighting in the ring), you wouldn’t find him looking wise beyond his years.

Coupled with Canon™ Space Mom Allura, it just pisses me off. Allura is enigmatic, a bit impulsive but her impulses are mostly practical, not afraid to jump into action, a bit bossy and domineering at times, yes, but deep down inside Allura is just a princess who wants her life back, who wants to live in peace with pretty things like her Altean flowers, who wants to go shopping for sparkly things, and maybe experiment with cute hairstyles.

This is why it kinda pisses me off. The idea was cute. Heck, I made an entire Sha//ura au once with my friend with the whole vld family thing but when they just pushed for it on discourse and acted like it was some holy canon grail, I was just really seven levels of salt.

III. “Pidge is like 4 months old” anti

These antis just infatalize Pidge. “Pidge is a kid. She can’t make romance decision. Pidge is practically a baby. How dare u” and all that shit. But it is totally fine for someone you see as a ‘kid’ to be flying an alien warship and engaging in an intergalactic war? Same goes for those who infantalize other Paladins. The logic is flawed enough but something else really pissed me off in this one.

My main concern with this is that the blatant forcefulness that Pidge is young because she has all the stereotypical looks of younger people. It undermines short girls who never grow up to be tall and developed upfront. Some people never get hit with puberty right. I was thirteen and 5′1 and now I’m  nineteen and guess what? 5′1.5. Where is the justice puberty? You didn’t hit me up. You just poked me with a stick once and left.

And just the other day, guess what? I was again assumed to be like fourteen, especially since I was standing right next to my tree of a younger brother who is like sixteen. I probably would be rich right now if i had a dollar for every single person who thought I was fourteen. Pidge may look young by stereotypical standards, sure. But that doesn’t mean she is. She could just be a short 19 year old.

The concept of child-coded is bullshit. I mean look, I look, by stereotypical anti standard, like a fourteen year old therefore when tall people my age or older (who coincidentally also fit the stereotypical adult look standard) theoretically like me, we are perpetuating pedophilia. If we start dating, since they are adult-coded and I’m child-coded, it’s almost as if it is already pedophilia.

If anything, the infantalization of Pidge showed me that people, yes I repeat, people will continue to be misogynistic to women who do not fit the stereotype of what a woman should be. I mean, when did height and cupsize amount to a woman’s age and maturity as a person? It just says you have to fit this shitty standard to be something and to be recognized and that is fucking bullshit.

Oh well, to the antis, I guess I’ll be a minor forever. And to end this segment with another one of your fave defenses, “I”M MINOR-CODED AND CHILD-CODED SO YOU CAN’T ATTACK ME UWU”

IV. “Shiro’s trauma is an issue” anti

This is by far the one of the things I’ve seen. These people say that because Shiro experienced some traumatizing shit, he is not eligible for a relationship with any of the Paladins. It basically says that because Shiro has ptsd, he can’t date anyone who is potentially(meaning they see this character as young or immature and they aren’t actually as such) less mature™ or younger than he is. It basically says that since Shiro has ptsd, he must be toxic by default. It thrives upon the logic that anyone with mental health issues is gonna be toxic in relationships. (except Sha//ura cuz apparently Shiro who they call toxic in all other relationships isn’t toxic there)

V. “go fucking kill yourself” anti

No explanations needed. Assholes with no regard for human life. Suicide baiting, Gas lighting, you name it. Best thing to do is just block these. No arguing with them.

VI. “I’m a minor/survivor/minority group so I am allowed to be an asshole to anyone” anti

These are the people who go and attack others but when you call them out on their shit, they go like “but we are a minor/survivor/part of a minority.”

I’m only gonna say this once so listen well. (Who am I kidding? I’ve stressed this so much.) Being a minor/survivor/minority does not excuse you from being an asshole. You can experience terrible things and be like fourteen but you can still be an asshole. It does not give you a free pass to ruin other people’s lives. Get that inside your head. Someone can be depressed and still be an asshole. Someone can be autistic and still be an asshole. Someone can be gay and still be an asshole. Someone can be part of a general minority group and still be an asshole. Their status as a minor/minority/survivor DOES NOT make them an asshole but this specific person, who coincidentally fits in a certain group, is just an asshole. Their status is merely circumstantial and not the root of their being an asshole therefor it must not be used as an excuse for them to be one.

VII. “Shaladin is okay except for Shidge ft. Ship Sh/att instead” anti

I’m like WHY? These antis act like they are allies and they are good™ but they throw Shidge under the bus and vilify it to somehow make other shaladin ships appeal to the anti standards. You draw the line in Shidge? Well, I draw the line in vilifying ships to put yours on a pedestal. I would’ve understood if it was just basic ‘I don’t like Shidge’ but no, it has to rhyme with the anti logic of infantalizing her and all those things.

And don’t let me get started on Sh/att. Cuz it just shattered all the hope of me getting into this ship. This was good, old friends trope, I couldn’t save you trope. You name it. It has all the layers of angst that normally i would dive into. But the shippers use the same rhetoric shaladin antis use on Shidge. “It’s shidge but gay” Do you know how misogynistic you sound? And how dare you think I ship my ship because ‘aesthetics uwu’.

The idea of throwing Shidge out to appeal to the antis like some sacrificial lamb is just anti rhetoric itself. “It’s okay if one ships takes the fall for us.” It’s just pointing fingers at someone, in this case some ship. And honestly, that sucks.

VIII. “I’m gonna misuse social justice to call you all these names and not appreciate social justice when it is working against me” anti

These antis are those who try to shit on ships by appealing to twisted social justice but the moment actual social justice works against them, they try to ignore it and you just know, it was never a social issue to begin with.

A perfect example of this are the “Bi Lance for K/ance” antis. They shout and tell the world,”we got Bi Lance, we got a bi character in our ship. Whoop Whoop representation” but moment someone goes “oh nice, I ship Lance with Allura/Pidge/Nyma/Plaxum/any girl in existence.” They jump at you and call you cis het scum or whatever. But Lance is Bi right? Don’t Bi people like umm girls too???? Yes??? Do you know what a bi is?????

You see, they actually don’t care about bi representational at all unless it is used to put their ships up. And don’t get me started on the hate for ‘Bi Keith.’ I know the idea of Gay Keith is a fan fave but Bi Keith is a possibility. Like Bi Lance is everything to the universe but you are suddenly Zarkon if you as much think about Bi Keith. You love bi representation so much don’t you?

Oh and the antis who go like “we are protecting survivors and minors” just as they attack survivors and minors. Good job on the protecting.

Everything these antis do is just plain crap. When you untangle their twisted social justice and see the ulterior motives, you see their actions for what they are, personal vendettas against shippers, attacks so that whatever shitty ship they have gets to trample on other ships.

IX. “fiction is reality” anti

These are just antis who thrive on the idea that fictitious content is actually reality and therefore every dark-themed content is evil.

Tell me why I’m not marking Priests with hot iron stamps fresh from flames and killing them? I read Angels and Demons. Tell me why I’m not suddenly killing humans and eating them? I watched Hannibal. Tell me how I haven’t butchered the person I like? I watched School Days + Higurashi and I was like thirteen, a minor yes, at the time. Tell me how I’m not suddenly taking people in strange boats and making them go through hell, I was eight, a fucking kid, I watched Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl). They are unanswerable because fiction is in fact not reality.

The idea that fiction is reality is just the same as how way back four or so years ago, there was a backlash in gaming like with fighting and guns because it supposedly perpetuates violence and supposedly hypnotizes people. And you know how stupid that idea is? That is how stupid the idea that ‘fiction’ is reality’ in fandom is.

And if you actually do think fiction is reality, I suggest you seek medical help.

End Note: Antis may appeal to other forms of attacks or a mix of these but you guys stay strong and safe.

Fairy Tail Chapter 545 Ending

Well the Korean Raw’s for Fairy Tail released. I want to say one thing. ONE THING. Basically the ships all did canon if you think about it, well we don’t know about Jerza. We know how Hiro is with the Jerza already anyways.

GRUVIA is canon. Basically what happened was Juvia was drunk and started stripping. Gray began to drag her out of the party and he left with her. Gray then talks about their double suicide they did together and then randomly he said, “I guess….maybe, you’re mine.” and he was BLUSHING. LITERALLY BLUSHING. I find it so cute, how he was blushing.

GAJEVY is canon. Basically at the party for Lucy’s book (Yes Lucy released that book finally and she got a award) Levy had slight tears in her eyes and Lucy said she heard the word Baby. Gajeel blushed hard and Levy was too. Levy is pregnant, with what is probably the twins from the light novel we all know of.

NALU is canon. You all probably aren’t liking how nalu ending was but basically, we haven’t gotten all the english translations yet. Once we get them of course we find out more about that scene but I do have one thing and this is the ENGLISH TRANSLATED DIALOGUE:

Natsu does say “We will be together from now on too!”

Lucy was also jealous of how close Gajeel and Levy were. In the chapter it seemed like she started crying thinking about Natsu meaning, she indeed was in love with him it seemed and she wanted a relationship and… he granted her it.

BTS reaction to: You having stretch marks

i hope you like it Mette! sorry it took so long to do

Jin

Jin loved your stretch marks. He thought they were beautiful. But despite that you were still very insecure about them. He didn’t realize this until you were going to the pool with the boys and wore shorts instead of bikini bottoms.

He pulled you aside before they left and questioned you. “Y/N love, why are you wearing shorts?” that’s when you explained to him your insecurities. He would sigh and pull you into a hug. Whispering that he loved you and everything about you. “Y/N i think you’re beautiful, but if you feel more comfortable in the shorts then wear them. But know that i love you no matter what.”

Yoongi

Yoongi  knew you had stretch marks. You had them on your thighs, breasts, and a little bit on your stomach. And and of course after almost a year of dating he would have seen them.

But one day, when Seoul was in the middle of a heat way, Yoongi decided it would be a good idea to go on a date. So instead of shorts or a dress you dressed into jeans. You often dressed like that for work so Yoongi wouldn’t question it then. But this raised some suspicions.

“Baby why are you wearing jeans? Go put some shorts or a sundress on,  your going to get hot.”when you told him you were insecure about your   stretch marks he would give you a really? Look, personally he loved your stretch marks. And boy was he going to show you ok forget the date, get in the bedroom

.  Yoongi what? he sighed I’m going to show you how much I love your stretch marks. You blushed at that.

(good luck)

Hoseok

You and Hoseok were sitting on the couch watching a movie. You were wearing a tee shirt and some shorts. But while watching the movie you continuously kept pulling down your shorts. After a while Hobi couldn’t resist and just simply asked “Y/n, why do you keep pulling down your shorts?”

Your eyes widen as you glanced up at Hobi “What?” he sighed “Y/n , you’ve spent the entire movie playing with the hem of your shorts, is there something you don’t want me to see?” you wanted to be open with Hobi so you sighed and told him “ I… I have stretch marks there and i’m just really insecure about them.”

You watched his face soften, “Y/n, baby i don’t care if your have stretch marks, i think you are beautiful just the way you are.” and with that he leaned forward, lifted up your shorts and placed a kiss on your thigh.

Namjoon

Namjoon knew you had stretch marks. And he loved them, he thought they gave your character and showed a story about your past. But he knew your insecurities behind that came with them. “Y/n, baby girl stop worrying about them, you’re so beautiful just the way you are.”

You smiled and stopped fiddling with the hem of your dress. “Thank you Joonie. I guess old habits die hard don’t they.” he nodded before pulling you into a tight hug and placed a kiss on your forehead. “You’re perfect Y/N”

You two had been dating for 4 months and were already extremely close. So like in most relationships you two felt ready to well ya know. You were extremely nervous. Not because of being intimate but because he would see your stretch marks.

(So I’ll leave how you two got here to your imagination) Jimin was slowly pulling your shorts down and you grabbed his hand. “Y/n, baby what wrong did i hurt you?” you sighed, “No, Chim it’s just that, i… i have stretch marks and i’m really insecure about them and…..” he stopped your rambling with a kiss

“Y/n i know you have stretch marks, we’ve slept in the same bed for 2 months.” you went scarlet and chuckled, I love you Jimin”

“I love you too Baby”

“Baby, how many times do i have to tell you, you’re perfect just the way you are stop trying to hide that stuff.” you froze while pulling your shorts down slightly. “Ahh Tae im sorry, i just forget sometimes”

He’d chuckle and give you a kiss on the cheek, “Just remember your beautiful Love”

Jungkook

You hadn’t showed Jungkook your stretch marks in fear of how he would react. But you weren’t as careful as usual and didn’t hear the bedroom door open.  You froze with your shorts half way up you legs and turned around.

“Oh! Hey baby sorry i didn’t realize you were getting dressed.” you were still shocked by his sudden appearances and watched as he walked over in your direction before grabbing something off the floor. But before he straightened himself he placed a gentle warm kiss on your thigh.

He stood up again before saying Baby please don’t feel the need to hide your body around me. I love every part of you.”

"I'm not your blind date but you came over and I was eating alone so I went with it and now you're calling me by a different name" AU

I found this prompt on a Tumblr blog but I accidentally deleted the post and now I can’t find the prompt anymore

Lena was sitting alone. She twirled the neck of the wine glass in her left hand, her phone in her right as she responded to work emails. Jess kicked her out of the office almost an hour ago, going on about how she shouldn’t be working on her birthday and she deserved one day off for herself. Problem is Lena always had days to herself. Her days were always “her” days if she didn’t have anyone to share them with. She looked down at the red rose on the table before her, Jess’ gift to her, and let herself smile slightly. Jess was a good assistant, she meant well, and she seemed to care when no one else did.

So that’s why she listened and came here to this restaurant when she really wanted to finish responding to her emails and get a head start on tomorrow’s project. The place wasn’t the fanciest she’s been, but she wasn’t about to go to one of the high-class places she frequented when she didn’t have a date. It was nice enough: low lighting, decent wine selection, and she got a small booth in the back so no one would bother her. Her plan was to come out, grab a quick bite, and then finish work at home.

She was so focused on her phone that she hadn’t noticed the woman walk up to her booth. There was a small tap on her shoulder then, and she was slightly annoyed that anyone would interrupt her when she purposely picked this booth to avoid being bothered. She turned to look up quickly, an annoyed “Can I help you?” on the tip of her tongue, when she came face-to-face with a literal angel, the words dying before they formed. Her jaw went slack as she took in the stunning being before her.

The woman had the bluest eyes Lena had ever seen, even under the minimal lighting of the place and the black rimmed glasses she wore. Her hair fell in soft golden waves, across the shoulders of her beige jacket and blue top. She had a pair of black pants that hugged her hips and a nice pair of boots to match. She looked dressed up, yet still casual, and it suddenly made Lena feel self-conscious about the tight fitting black dress and tight ponytail she wore.

“It was supposed to be yellow,” the woman said, pointing at the flower on the table.

They adjusted rather well i guess.

I recently “initiated” a few friends into the world of rpgs and pen and paper. After settling the character creation (they went with an elf fighter, a tiefling rouge and a gnome mage)  the party ran into a small goblin ambush in some woods wich they easily defeated.

Tiefling: “I search the bodies for valubles.”

DM(Me): *describes findings briefly*

Elf : “I search the bodies.”

DM: “But…the rouge did it already…”

Elf: “No…as in cut them open and look inside.”

DM: …

Tiefling: …

Gnome: …

DM: “Ok…well…you find entrails and blood…lots of them. The goblins now resemble a jigsaw puzzle more than anything else.“

Elf:” I now nail the body parts to the trees surrounbding the area.“

DM:…

Tiefling:…

Gnome(OOC under his breath) :” what the fuck…“

Long story short after the gnome threw up several times because of his alcohol problem combined with the over the top violence and the tiefling kept passing out, the group was murdered by abomination sewn together from the body parts of yet another bunch of goblins (the elf was bored) and then came to life after the gnome tried dabbling with necromancy.

Can’t Sleep

For what felt like the thousandth time that night, you twisted around in your shared bed with Harry, trying to find a comfortable spot to help you lull away to sleep.

This has been the case for the past hour. You were sleepless with no idea why. Even with Harry sleeping next to you and the overwhelmingly amazing sense of peace it brought you to have him there, you just couldn’t find a way to drift off.

You refrained from waking him up, knowing full and well that messing with Harry’s sleep would make you feel guilty, but knowing that if he were awake - it wouldn’t take long for him to comfort you to sleep.

You turned around to face him, his sleeping figure turned towards you and his arms wrapped around a lone pillow. You slightly frowned, wishing that pillow was you in his grip, but with all the tossing and turning you’re doing it’s probably best that you weren’t.

Changing your position once again, you went from lying on your side to lying on your back. The ceiling now seems more interesting in the middle of the night as you struggled to rest. Letting your ideas and thoughts roam free at this time of night was not a good idea, it just made you feel more awake - but you couldn’t help yourself. Your mind ended up leading to Harry and how far in your relationship you had come, how happy he makes you, how he makes you feel loved.

Unknowingly, your hand found its place in his, and even in his sleeping state, he held it tightly against him as if it were instinctual.

Returning to reclining on your side, you stared at the man before you. With your lip caught in between your teeth, you let your other hand go to his hair. You didn’t know whether it would wake him seeing as when you did that it sent him straight to sleep, but you were proven otherwise when his eyes slowly opened to meet yours, the moonlight streaming in through the window gave you a small glimpse of the glimmer in the now dark green irises.

“Can’t sleep?” Harry hums lowly. Instead of replying, you shake your head ‘no’. “You want me to stay up with you?”

“No,” you quickly interject, the guilt crawling around in your heart. “Go back to sleep, H. I can handle this.”

“Not a chance,” he mumbles, snaking his arm around your waist and pulling you towards him. You let out a small giggle as his hand finds its way to your messy and out of place hair tickling your ear.

“Harry, can you talk to me about something?” You ask quietly, placing your hand on his bicep to let your fingers dance around the tattoos.

“About what?” He quizzes.

“Anything,” you chuckle, “I just like hearing your voice, it usually puts me to sleep.”

“Is that a nice way of saying I’m boring?” Harry questions teasingly, a smile growing on his lips.

“I guess,” you giggle. “Or maybe it’s because you have a really nice voice.”

“I’ve been told,” he snickers. You roll your eyes jokingly and let out another small laugh. “Well, my day started off beautifully, waking up next you and then having a nice breakfast with you.”

“I like where this is going,” you yawn, his voice already beginning its impact on you.

“I’m sure,” he smirks. “After that, I got dressed and headed out. Did a few things for work, went to the store and got some things for us, came back home and spent the evening with you.”

He smiles to himself as his eyes take you in. Just seconds ago, you were struggling to keep your eyes shut and now here you were barely awake.

“Then we watched a movie or two, and I fell asleep so you suggested we go to bed,” Harry continues, “so now here we are.”

You were now sound asleep, your hand still holding his own tightly. Your soft and quiet snores filled the room and Harry chuckled to himself.

“Goodnight, Y/N,” he whispers, carefully leaning over to press a soft kiss to your forehead before returning to his rest.

I Want It Fast, I Want It Loud, I Want It My Way

a/n: THIS PICTURE FUCK. i’ve rode many of things in my lifetime. ;-) just not a thigh, so this might not be accurate but heyyyyyyyyy it’s fine. and if we’re gonna be honest here, how many of y'all actually even rode a dick? let alone a thigh hahaha.  love y'all :-) (smut warning obviously)

I’m tired. I can feel the familiar ache in my body. I want nothing more than to go home and sleep for hours on end with no interruption. “C'mon, love, lets go.” I whine into Harry’s ear. His arm that is wrapped around my hip tightens, “okay, hold on.” He absentmindedly replies. I huff out. I don’t want to hold on. What the hell am I supposed to hold on to anyways? I notice a chair on the other side of the room and I instinctively follow to it.

When I am seated, I rest my head against the wall and close my eyes. “Alright, up you get. It’s time to go, yeah?” Harry awakes me from my quick nap, a whine slips from my lips as I’m placed on my feet. “No.” Harry chuckles lowly as he bends down and urges me to get on my back. A sleepy smile etches on my face as I climb onto him. He stands up with ease. My head falls onto his shoulder as I fall asleep with Harry’s scent lingering around me.

 *

It’s hot. I can feel sweat seeping through my shirt.

My eyes open and adjust to the darkness. The clock reads three-thirty A.M., I can hear Harry’s breathing next to me. It’s relaxing. His arms are pulled under his pillow as he lies his head on it, curly hair flopping over. His mouth is slightly ajar, and I can’t help but look at his lips. They are such a nice shape, they’re so pink and full. The shirt I have on is soaked through with sweat as I peel it off my scorching body. The cool air soothes my skin and I sigh with relief.

With my head back onto my pillow, I continue to stare at sleeping Harry. How can one human have so much beauty to them? Not just his looks either, he has a beautiful soul as well. My eyes skim back to his lips. God, his lips. If only they were kissing me right now. Down my neck, onto my collar bone. Biting and nipping, leaving a hickey in its place.

I play with the idea of waking him up just to do that, but he needs his sleep. When I make up my mind to be a good girlfriend, I groan and roll over. I hate that I’m a good person sometimes. My head is still spinning with the thought of Harry kissing me all over as I close my eyes and try to sleep. Minutes pass before I huff out and grab my phone.

Looks like I’m not going to be sleeping tonight. One perk of having a famous boyfriend is that I can look up smut about him and totally try it the next time we have sex. And that’s what I do. I head over to my Tumblr app and type in “Harry Styles smut”. The first thing that pops up is an ask. The ask reads “OKAY but imagine riding harry’s thigh i Am HURT. You would grind down on him and it would hit your clit just right and his hands would leave marks on your hips and he could feel you soaking through his jeans, and he just gets off to you getting off FUCK”.

Okay what in the hell is thigh riding and why am I so wet now? My mind starts racing after smut with thigh riding involved. I’ve never heard of thigh riding, but I’m already liking it. I stay up a few more minutes, maybe hours, who really knows? Looking at smut that includes thigh riding. I’m aching for the feeling of it right now. My internal conflict is raging inside me and I think I have to wake Harry. The sleeping boy next to me looks so peaceful. How could I wake him up just to ride his thigh? I can feel myself pulsing for this feeling. “Fuck.” I groan out, I can’t wait any longer. My hand starts to shake his sleeping body, “Harry.” All he does is let out a soft groan. This is going to be harder than I thought. With a swift pull from the covers, both of our bodies are uncovered.

Harry is naked from his hips up and he looks fucking great. The tattoos sprawled across his toned body never looked so appealing in my life. I want to run my tongue over everyone of them. Black  shorts that were around my hips fall off with a swift motion from my arms, my underwear following. Fire is in my veins. Harry visibly shutters from the loss of the covers but I climb on top of him to bring him warmth.

"Y/N?“ He mutters, his voice raspier and deeper from sleep. Fuck, I’m literally dripping for this green eyed man. “Baby, I want to try something..” I say while unleashing kisses to his jaw and neck. “At-” He stops to check the time, “5:47 in the morning?” Huh, guess I was looking at smut longer than I thought. “Yes baby, please, I’m literally dripping for you. Plus, you have to get up an hour anyways for work.” I moan out, I can already feel his erection through his pajama pants. “Well if you insist.” He smirks. “What did you want to try?” He sits up holding me in his lap. My legs are by each of his hips and his large hands are roaming my back, hips, and thighs. “Well it’s kinda weird, but I really want to try it.” I tug my lip into my teeth, nervously awaiting his response. “Yeah? What’s it then love?” “Well- I- just- let me show you. Take off your pants.” I instruct with a shaky voice, he obliges as he lifts me off his lap. He is left in his tight boxer briefs.

I manage to mount back onto his lap, positioning myself over his left thigh. “What’re you doing babe?” Harry asks me with puzzlement in his eyes. “Just..” I moan out as I begin to move hips on his lap. The contact of my clit to his thin boxers form incoherent moans. Harry’s hands move to my hips, gripping them. “Oh so you like thigh riding, huh?” Harry’s voice is like gravel on a road sending me to move faster as his hands insinuate rapid movements. My head nods feverishly as he moves me faster. I feel his lips attach to my breasts, sucking lightly.

Curls are in my hands as I rock back and forth in his thigh. Cotton boxers against my clit work expertly together with the collaboration of my movements and Harry’s lips. Pleasure is racing through me leaving a beating heart and restless moans. Thoughts are construed in my mind as I try to piece together all the overwhelming things that are enveloping around me. Fuck, I’m so close. “Harry…” I moan out and he gets the hint. His inked hands grip my love handles tighter and my moves pick up pace as we move with the rhythm of an imaginary tempo. “Come for me.” Harry barely whispers in my ear as he adds a nibble to my ear lobe and before I can stop myself, I am sent over the top. An orgasm rattles through me with blacked out vision and shaking hands. Spearmint surrounds me as my head collapses into Harry'a shoulder. “I didn’t know you were into that.” Harry’s voice flows out to me and I laugh, “Yeah I didn’t either.” The clock now reads six-fifteen.

Before Harry can react, I roll off of him and fall into my spot on our bed. The covers are pulled up over me, I hum in response. “Get some sleep, my angel.” Are words I hear before I drift off.

→ summary: what happens when the college roommate you thought was definitely going to be girl turns out to be the most gorgeous guy you’ve ever encountered in all your years of life? It’s a stupid misunderstanding on your part, but maybe, just maybe, it won’t be so bad after all…
•  note. this was a request from @immawhalien95 which took me an age to write haha, but it’s finally done and my plan to take over tumblr with Jin fics is taking shape…
•  p.s. listen to I feel you by wonder girls

“You’re a guy?”

Looking back, you must have been stupid to think that Jin was going to be a female roommate. Maybe in your head you just thought that Seokjin was more than likely a girl’s name. You couldn’t explain why, but that’s why you agreed straight away when you saw the name on that piece of paper as you signed. It was a girl and that was fine with you.

Starting college away from all your family and friends was a scary thought and the only thing that was keeping you going was the hope that you would live with a great roommate. One that you had lots in common with and would end up being your best friend. Well… yeah, that didn’t happen.

Imagine your surprise when you turned up on moving day to find a strange guy moving stuff in too. You said a fleeting hello to each other as you waited outside for your removal men and that was that for a good ten minutes. At first you were under the impression he was either an incredibly hot helper who your roommate had employed, or maybe her boyfriend and you felt an uneasy pang of jealousy wash over you. It was uncalled for, but you would be jealous of anyone with a boyfriend that looked like him.

He was handsome —no, gorgeous. Actually, beautiful was more of a better word and you wanted to cry and drool at the same time as you watched him walk back and fore past you as he took box after box up the stairs to your apartment. He wore a black t-shirt that showed each flex of his biceps perfectly and his hair was dark, almost black, that fell in front of his eyes. Dark brown eyes complete with dark eyelashes and eyebrows that were stronger and framed his face better than yours ever could. His skin was perfect too, slightly oily as it sparkled with specks of sweat that danced on his brow and upper lip.

It wasn’t until you had been waiting outside for over half an hour and finally losing all patience when you found out your roommate was in fact a boy. It was him. The handsome stranger. He was Seokjin.

“Are you still waiting for your delivery truck?” Handsome stranger asked as he took a break from the boxes in his van to come to speak to you, propping himself against the wall next to where you sat.

All you could do was nod your head and mumble out a yes, and you mentally cursed at yourself for acting like such a fool. It wasn’t as if you didn’t have any experience with men. Of course you did. It’s just no guy in your old high school had quite looked like this. He was godly and you noticed from this angle you could see his armpit hair from the way he leant his arm against the building. You shouldn’t have liked it —why would you? It was a guy’s black underarm hair that was quite possibly sweaty, but the more you accidentally eyed it up, the more you found yourself liking it and that was when you truly knew you were losing it. His underarms were beautiful just like him.

“That’s why I just rented my own van to move my things in,” he shrugged, and what he said very nearly passed you by as you watched him open his water bottle and take a gulp, his adam’s apple bobbing up at down as he swallowed, but then you thought —wait a minute? Move my things in?

What did that mean? Surely… it couldn’t be… but he was talking once again and you listened in stunned silence, your world silently crashing and falling down around you.

“You’re Y/N, right? I remember seeing your name on the lease when I signed. Nice to meet you, I’m Seokjin.”

His smile was blinding and you watched him outstretch his hand for you to shake. Only, you didn’t mean it to come out quite like it did. You were just in shock, that was all.

You’re a guy?

Your voice was filled with insinuation and trepidation. He was a guy, and he knew you were a girl and he wanted to move in together. Seokjin was a boy. He was Seokjin. The handsome stranger who you had just been perving over was your roommate.

He retracted his hand when he saw your extreme reaction, nervously scratching the back of his neck as he laughed uncomfortably.

“Last time I checked I was… Why —is that going to be a problem?”

Yes. Yes, it was going to be a problem. Why wouldn’t it be? He was male and to top it all off he was mouth wateringly hot. However, it was too late now. You were going to have to live with it. You couldn’t just find some other place to live, everything had already been sorted out. There was a contract and you couldn’t break it. Besides, you couldn’t just run away. That was rude and you weren’t a mean person. It was all just a shock to the system, based on the misunderstanding that he would be a girl. It was your fault, not his. The only thing he was guilty of was looking the way he did. Damn him, damn his genes and damn his parents.

“NO —I mean, uh, no,” you corrected yourself, quieter this time. “It’s just… well, I guess it’s a funny story really… I just thought you were going to be a girl,” you laughed, the uncomfortable noise forcing its way out of your mouth as you stared up at him. It was probably best to be honest. Even if it meant you looked completely stupid.

He laughed back at that, quickly descending into a fit of giggles, practically chortling and you couldn’t help but join him. It was infectious, and that’s the first time you realised maybe living with a guy wouldn’t be as bad as you thought.

Of course you had your reservations. Who wouldn’t? But over the next few weeks you began to ease into the life of living with Jin. Jin was what you called him now. He

said there was no need to bother with Seokjin, seeing as all his friends called him Jin. He had lots of friends you found out. It made more sense when you realised he was from the city you lived in. Nothing had really changed for him, other than moving out of his parents. For you, it was different. You had moved 300 miles away from your family and you had no friends in sight. Making friends was always very daunting for you anyway, being naturally very shy it was scary outing yourself out there for all to see, but soon enough you made some friends in your classes and your first semester was getting off to a great start.

The first time you realised living with Jin would be okay was within the first week. It was a Friday and it marked the end of a busy week of paperwork and introductory classes. All you wanted to do was curl up in your bed, under the blankets and fall asleep for the whole weekend, but first you had to wash up the dishes after your lunch. You were elbow deep in warm water when Jin came back and he when he saw you, he gasped, rushing over to your side as he began babble.

“Oh, you shouldn’t be doing my dishes as well! Honestly, I was going to wash them as soon as I got in.”

He seemed positively mortified that you were cleaning his used dishes and you couldn’t help but laugh at him. “Jin, it’s okay. I don’t mind doing them. I was doing mine anyway, so what’s the problem?”

It was true. You had seen his by the sink when you’d started to fill up the basin and it just seemed the normal thing to do. You did it all the time with your family back at home.

“I know that, but I don’t want to put you out. It’s my mess— honestly, I can clean up. I don’t want you to think I’m messy,” and before you knew it his hands were joining you in the tub, aimlessly grabbing for the sponge and you giggled at him, trying to push him away.

“Honestly, it’s fine!” You protested as he wrapped his hands around yours and you couldn’t help but feel the warmth spread around your body. His hands were large and strong and they hugged your small ones easily, but you wouldn’t give in and finally he let go.

“Fine then! Let me dry up as you wash!” He huffed, already drying his hands on his jeans before grabbing the cloth ready to wipe.

You nodded your head in defeat, secretly glad of the help. Really, you’d never thought a guy would he this eager to help you clean. You said as much and he smirked playfully.

“Well, I am the one and only Kim Seokjin —breaking down gender stereotypes since I was old enough to speak.”

You giggled again. That’s all you seemed to be doing around him, you couldn’t help it. He was naturally funny and incredibly charming. His smile was what got you —and it had only been a week. It turned up at the edges and made his usually angular face, round and cute.

“But in all seriousness,” he started as he began to dry the plates you handed him. “this is the reason I requested a girl housemate,” and you looked at him quizzically.

“I’m a really clean guy and the thought of sharing an apartment with any other guys that could be messy and stinky sent me into a tail spin.” He admitted, and you nodded your head.

Although surprised, he was right and you agreed. That’s why you had wanted a girl roommate. The chances are they would be cleaner, even though you knew it didn’t always work out that way. You knew your passive close mindedness could bite you on the butt one day, but this time… —this time it had paid off, and you were grateful.

“What would have happened if I was messy like all guys you just generalised?” You teased, passing him a bowl and he laughed loudly.

“That would have been my own fault —but I’m glad I got you as a roommate. Even if you were under the impression that I was female.”

It was his turn to tease now and you couldn’t help but look down and blush. You still couldn’t believe your little mistake and no amount of laughing could ever stop the embarrassment.

“Hey— what are you doing tonight?” He asked suddenly, when the room had been filled with a silence, and you shrugged. Truthfully, like you said, you had just wanted to sleep, but if Jin was interested in doing something, maybe you were too…

“I’m watching the new marvel movie that just came out on DVD. I didn’t have a chance to watch it in the cinema. Wanna join me tonight? If you’re in to that kinda thing…” he added as an after thought and you saw the unfamiliar pink tinge rise on his cheeks. Unfamiliar on him anyway. You hadn’t thought that Jin would be the type to blush. And anyway, what did he have to be embarrassed for? You loved those kind of films too.

“I’d love to!” You grinned genuinely, and his own smile spread across his face again.

“REALLY? Okay, great! I brought popcorn!”

After that, it was several things that showed you living with Kim Seokjin wouldn’t be half as bad as you imagined. Time after time he showed you he was the prefect roommate, and most of the time you were sure he never even realised.

He cooked for you when he knew you would be out till late with no time to prepare your own food and in return you would cook for him, mostly on the weekends when he’d wake with the mother of all hangovers.  You even had a chores rota where you would tick off the completed jobs after they were done, and it wasn’t long before you realised that living with him was way better than living with any girl. You had your routine and it was perfect. He was prefect.

You had been living with him for a few months now and were well within half of your first college year and over time Jin became more than a roommate to you – he was your friend. You had an awfully lot of things in common surprisingly— not only your film choices but also your music taste and don’t get you stared on gaming!

He was surprised at first to find a girl who liked playing video games as much as him and you just shook your head. He’d obviously been hanging around with the wrong girls then. You loved it and there would be many a night where you both would curl up on the sofa and play mario cart together. It was a chance to unwind after a stressful day in classes and what was no better way to do that than to argue the rightful winner of each race, as you pushed and nudged each other in an attempt to cheat.

Your friends thought you were crazy, or at least not human, if you could just carry on like normal when you lived with Jin. THE Kim Seokjin that everyone found good looking but almost scarily unapproachable because of his statuesque beauty. You just shrugged it off. You would never tell them that you now and again had to hide your blushes from him when he smiled at you or sometimes caught your eye, and don’t even get you started on when he complimented you.

There was one time when you had been getting ready to go on your first night out since moving to the city and you’d been chuffed because you’d bought yourself the hottest dress you could find. Mainly for yourself, it had been so long since you’d dressed up and had fun and you wanted to look the part. It was black and came to just above your knees, spaghetti strapped and probably to cold for the time of year, but who cared? You looked good and Jin seemed to think so too. You hadn’t imagined the way his eyes had nearly popped out of his head when you walked out of your bedroom, or the way after that he tried to avoid any contact with anything that wasn’t your face.

“Wow— you look…amazing — I mean, you always do,’ he had spluttered. “But tonight, just wow, just wow.”

It had come as a shock to you, that was for sure. Jin had never been that outright before and it was the first time he’d said something like that, something that made it seem he did realise you were a woman and not just his roommate. There were boobs and a butt underneath the dress and he seemed to like it.

After that though, you never quite received a compliment like that from him again. Of course there were other remarks, but he was never quite as speechless like he’d been that night. One thing was for certain though – no other male compliment did it for you that night quite like his had. The others just seemed sleazy and creepy, whilst his was something that made your heart swell.

It was torture sometimes —because yeah, Jin was hella good looking and it was hard not to be attracted to him. He definitely didn’t help matters either. Sometimes you wondered if he did these things on purpose just to mess with you, or if he was really that clueless.

It must have been about six weeks in when you saw him practically naked for the first time. You’d come home after your 4pm class to to the sound of the shower running and you guessed he must have come back early. Maybe you didn’t think, but in your head, he would have brought a fresh set of clothes to wear with him, in the bathroom. That’s what you did; dry and change in the room, then come out decent. So, that’s why you made yourself comfy on the sofa and switched on the TV.

To your horror, when you heard the bathroom door open and looked up to great him; he was naked. Okay, granted he had a towel around his middle, but he still had his chest out and legs and argh— it was too much. You had to physically pry your eyes away from him as they skimmed down his torso and down the towel and you couldn’t bring yourself to imagine what was hidden underneath there. If it was anything like his chest, then you would be needing mouth to mouth soon.

He hadn’t even bothered to dry himself properly and your eyes glazed once again upon his tan skin. There were water droplets still visible across the smooth flesh. If you had to imagine him topless, it was everything you would have wished for. Not overly muscular, but lean with solid pecs and you slowly felt yourself slipping further and further away from reality. Until that was, he finished speaking and walked back into his room.

Wait— was he even speaking? You couldn’t remember what he said, and you definitely couldn’t remember what you replied with. You hoped to god he hadn’t noticed your blatant staring and after you were sure he wasn’t coming back out anytime soon, you picked up a cushion and screamed into it, making sure to muffle your sounds. You would need a long, cold shower to eradicate all the dirty thoughts from your brain.

As the months wore on there was plenty of times like that one. He seemed to like walking out from the washroom practically naked a lot, and soon enough you trained your body to cope with it. You conditioned yourself from that, but there were also different ways he could get you silently screaming into the pits of hell.

Like that one time he came back from the gym, dripping with sweat and in the loosest tank top you’d ever seen. His dark hair was plastered to his forehead and his chest still raised up and down uneasily from his workout. He looked so good, and dare you say it —sexy? It took a long time to get those mental images out of your head and the added fantasies you’d joined to them. You wondered how sweaty he could really get, panting and out of breath from a situation totally different than lifting a few weights…?

You weren’t proud of it, but you just let it lie. You told yourself it was because right before moving for college you had broken up with your boyfriend. It was a mutual decision and seemed the right thing to do. You were both move moving 300 miles away in the opposite direction and you weren’t stupid. It would mean you would hardly see each other and having a relationship that far apart was pointless in both your eyes.

To you, lusting after Jin was just a physical thing. It was your chance to be young, free and wild after being with your high school sweetheart for so long. It wasn’t serious; it was superficial, based off Jin’s incredibly good looks and amazing body.  It was what college was for —finding hot guys and having a bit of fun. All your friends did it… so, why didn’t you?

It wasn’t like you didn’t have the chance. You’d seen plenty of guys that were easy on the eye and there’d been plenty of guys that had shown interest in you, but every time, nothing ever went further than a kiss. You just weren’t interested like that, and you told yourself it was because you were still not ready to move on from Sunhong.

Yeah, that was the reason. Your heart was still hung up on your high school love… nothing to do with the fact that you kept comparing every guy to Jin. Oh, this guy doesn’t have eyes pretty enough like Jin… oh, this guy is too short, not like Jin… oh, this guy isn’t funny, well – not as funny as Jin anyway…

It was true though. He may have been breathtakingly beautiful, but he was also incredibly goofy and hilarious. Everything gelled between you. He was perfect and you knew deep down you were kidding yourself. You could just about remember Sunhong’s name when Jin was about. It was official, you were doomed and deep down you prayed for the day you could move out and find some other place to live. It would just be one year and then you could find a new roommate.

The reason why you were probably so bitter anyway, was because he had a girlfriend. Of course he bloody well did. Had you seen him? It was obvious someone would steal him for themselves.

It came as a shock to you when you found out. Mainly because he had never said anything. Never once brought her up in conversation and it was a good four months before you even saw here. Imagine your surprise when one day you heard the familiar key in the lock and when you looked up from the kitchen island he was there holding hands with some girl you’d never seen before.

You mean, he didn’t owe you anything of course, but a little heads up would have been nice. Not having “this is my girlfriend of six months, Sohee,” with no other explanation. How did he just forget to mention he had a girlfriend even after all the times you had spoken? By that time you had become very friendly and a part of you couldn’t help but feel a little betrayed. Why hadn’t he told you? You put the pain in your heart down as just that—  betrayal and ignored the whisper in your ears that hissed ‘jealousy.’

On top of that, it didn’t help that Jin was acting weird when you first met her anyway. He dropped her hand as soon as he saw you were in the apartment too and let out a shocked ‘I didn’t know you were going to be here.’ Why wouldn’t you be here? It was your apartment too. However, later on when Sohee had left and you asked him why you’d never met her before, he made some odd excuse of ‘she just usually comes here when you’re out, so we don’t annoy you. It’s as much your place as it is mine.” What was that supposed to mean? It worked both ways —it was as much his place as yours as well. However, your words were about to bite you on the butt, because since that first day you had been lucky to get rid of her.

Things started off okay between you and her and you participated in small talk, albeit mostly for Jin’s sake on your part, but one day something changed… or happened…? You weren’t too sure, but one moment you were talking about one of her foreign language classes she was taking, while she was waiting for Jin to shower and the next she was low-key warning you off him.

“Jin told me you like to play those stupid video games as well,” and you had to admit you were taken back by her sudden change in direction.

“Uh… yeah I guess… They’re a lot of fun when you get into them.” You tried to sound nonchalant but you could tell things were about to take an uncomfortable turn.

“You guys seem to have a lot in common…”

Oh shit, the uncomfortable turn seemed to be sooner rather than later.

“I mean, I guess so… I know a lot of people –

But she cut you off, she was obviously a woman on a mission tonight, and that mission was to prove a point. Jin was hers —no one else’s, especially yours.

“I bet you can’t wait to move out at the end of the college year. Living with a boy can’t be fun. I mean, I should know, but Jin never let me move in with him, no matter how many times I brought it up. Imagine my surprise when I found out his roommate was a girl…” Her voice was laced with a faux sweetness and you swallowed.

How long had she been feeling this way? Maybe that’s why he had never brought her round before? But before you could answer she was carrying on.

“It will be nice to live with some of your friends – your girl friends and then probably me and Jin will move in together too.”

There was a passive aggressiveness to her voice and you looked around the room awkwardly as you nodded in agreement —even if it wasn’t true, you would agree, because she was beginning to make you feel uncomfortable and you prayed to god that Jin wouldn’t come out of the shower half naked again. That was all you needed.

However, thankfully he came out fully dressed and that marked the end of your conversation with Sohee, the secret crazy girlfriend and they left you alone in the living area in favour of his bedroom.

On top of your brain swirling with thoughts of what the hell just happened, the cherry on the cake was when you were lying in bed that night and began to hear the mumble of voices coming from the wall behind you. Sohee hardly ever slept over, but you knew the tell-tale sound of sex anywhere. The walls were thin enough that you couldn’t help but hear. It sounded as if she was coaxing him into something as you could hear his slight protests, but then she must have done something and he wasn’t protesting no more…

It was wrong on so many levels and you were 100% sure she was doing it on purpose – being louder on purpose because she knew you could hear. It was pathetic, you scoffed, but it also made the pang in your heart grow and soon enough you were pulling your pillow over your head to block out the noise and scrunching your eyes tightly together to try to rid any mental image of what was happening in there.

You were sure… it wasn’t jealousy you were feeling… it must have been something else entirely… it had to be…

After that night, you began to feel more and more bitter. Living with Jin was not your fault. You had been the one to think he was a girl and if anything, it was his fault. He had known you were a girl —he’d wanted to live with a girl. Sohee should be taking it out on him – not you. He was the one who hadn’t wanted to live with her and when you had brought it up absentmindedly in conversation you couldn’t help but agree with him the reason why.

“We had only been together two months before we started college, that’s way too early for living together like a couple,” you had found it weird at the time, the way he wrinkled his nose at the idea, but you did agree. You wouldn’t have even loved with Sunhong for college and you two had been together for two years.

“Why are you bringing this up? Did she say something to you?” His tone was insinuating and you shook your head quickly. Did he know what his girlfriend was like? Did he know his girlfriend did not like you one bit?

“She just said after this college year you guys would be moving in with each other, that’s all,” you shrugged.

“The hell we are.” He spluttered and you looked at him, eyes wide. “When pigs fly would be another phrase— I mean,” he coughed, finally realising he was being a bit of a dick towards his girlfriend. “she’s my girlfriend and I… love her, but like, no way is it time to move in with each other.”

You didn’t miss out the fact that he hesitated to say the word love and your brain would have been all over that mentally if you weren’t so hung up on something else. He didn’t want to live with Sohee but he was okay to live with you? Did he not see you as a woman too? As just a friend and you hoped to god, not as one of the guys? That was too much for your little heart to handle, and that was the time you realised that you needed to keep some space between you and Jin. If the way you felt crushed was anything to by, this meant bad news and you told yourself that you would try to forget about your little crush on Jin and move on before it grew into something more…

You had been living with Jin for around seven months when you noticed Sohee was never around anymore. Usually she was there most weekends and you had quickly eased into a routine. On the weekdays, you would hang around with Jin, watch films, play games, eat together and on the weekend, you would make yourself scarce, opting to hang around with your own friends and staying around there.

Only for the past couple of weeks, whenever you got back, Jin was alone, and there was never any sign that he’d been in the company of somebody else. You were just making yourself a quick snack ready to make a run for it one Friday, when Jin came out of his room. “Are you going to be away all weekend again?” He asked, and you noticed the low tone in his voice, almost dejected sounding, and you looked up from what you were cutting.

You wished you hadn’t. Did he have to be so damn good looking all the time? No matter what he did? He was wearing sweats and a white t-shirt, baggy around his body but still making him look irresistible and it didn’t help his hair was slightly ruffled as if he had been laying down or sleeping.

“Uh— yeah, I think I’m gonna go to Wendy’s and we’ll probably watch a film and then see what happens…”  you trailed off, watching the slightest pout appear on his lips. “Why?”

He shrugged and walked towards you, shuffling his feet and not looking you in the eyes. “We just haven’t hung out in a while, that’s all.” He nudged your shoulder with his playfully.

That much was true. These days you even tried avoiding him altogether on the weekdays, pretending you were too busy with assignments and other things that were a lie.

“Well, won’t you be hanging out with Sohee this weekend?” You asked, trying to ignore how close he was to you. His body hovered over yours as he grabbed a piece of carrot you had cut and you could smell the mint shower gel he’d used. Closing your eyes, you willed the one bit of self-control you had left in your body to triumph, just as he scoffed and put it in his mouth, chewing loudly.

“I doubt that’s gonna happen.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?” You asked, though you couldn’t fight the flutter of excitement that appeared in your stomach.

“We broke up.” He shrugged again.

“WHAT? When?” You didn’t mean to shout, but the way he sounded so nonchalant made you angry more than anything.

“Like nearly a month ago, now.” You saw the rise of shoulders move, about to shrug again and you lifted your foot up to step on his toe. It was a reflex, and you wanted to hurt him.

“OW!” He yelled, spinning his head to stare at you incredulously, his mouth as wide as his eyes.

“Oh, quit being a baby. I’m barefoot.” You sighed, not giving him enough time to reply with a snarky comeback, before you were questioning him again. “Why didn’t you tell me?”

Why don’t you tell me anything wanted to fall out your mouth too, but you held it in and bit down on your lip. It was the truth though. Why didn’t he tell you? You were friends and he purposely didn’t say anything. Just like he’d never said he had a girlfriend either…

“It never came up in conversation – besides you were never here for me to tell you…” He added, and once again he adverted eye contact. You felt guilty. He was right… you guessed.

You let out a light sigh and picked up a piece of carrot as well, plopping it in your mouth as you spoke. “Want me to stay here this weekend, then? Seeing as you missed me so much?” You teased, smiling up at him and he quickly looked up from his feet to grin and nod his head simultaneously.

You quickly got into watching a movie on the sofa, but you couldn’t shake the the weird feeling in your stomach. It was a merge of being ridiculously (and unfairly) happy that Jin and Sohee had broken up and annoyed that he hadn’t told you. You didn’t buy his excuse of ‘forgetting’ just because you were out. In fact, there had been many a time when you had been in his company and he could have brought it up. Although, come to think of it Sohee never came up in conversation. Never. You obviously wouldn’t bring her up, and surprisingly (or not) he didn’t either.

She really was history… You wondered what happened and then you looked at Jin whilst he watched the film, trying to examine him. Was he sad? He looked sad, although that could have been because you were sure someone had just died in the film. Had he been so down that he had hidden it from you? Was he heartbroken? You didn’t want to admit how that made you feel, but you pushed in down and overcame it. You would make him happy again, and you knew just the way…

It was past midnight when you opened your laptop in bed, quickly logging into Facebook and typing in the name that would save the day. Park Jimin. He was Jin’s friend and you had met him a few times now, becoming good enough acquaintances to friend each other on Facebook anyway. What Jin needed was a night out, to have fun and forget out a certain someone named Sohee…

Jimin was more than happy to help, though he insisted that Jin probably didn’t need cheering up that much seeing as it happened a while ago now. See, Jimin had known – you however, had not, but you hid that from him, not wanting to look stupid. You weren’t going out with them, but you had said you were going with a group of your own friends around the clubs. You didn’t want to turn up and cramp his style… just incase he looked for comfort somewhere else that wasn’t with Sohee. You didn’t want to see that —even though you were trying to cut him from your mind, you didn’t want to see that… However, sometime into the night out you began to receive some texts.

[Jin] I know it was you who organised this

[You] …

[Jin] don’t play dumb Jimin just spilled

[Jin] thank you

[Jin] but do you know what would make it better…?

[You] no problem

[You] what…?

[Jin] if the event organiser came to me

[Jin] she can’t just organise this amazing night out and not see the benefits for herself

[Jin] well I say amazing

[Jin] everyone has ditched me to talk to a bunch of girls and I’m here alone

[Jin] save me

[Jin] pretty please

It didn’t take much persuasion to find yourself at the club where Jin was, your friends in toe who pretty much ran over to the boys at once, leaving you and Jin alone.

“You know you didn’t have to do this right?” He questioned. “I’m not even that upset. Jimin told me you said I looked sad. Do I look sad?” He queried, and you giggled at his slightly offended stance.

“I don’t know. After break ups your supposed to be sad! I was just trying to be nice. I want you to be happy.” Maybe you had drunk too much, but you knew you were talking nonsense.

“I am happy. Why wouldn’t I be? I have you as my roommate.” He gushed jokingly, grabbing his glass to bring it up to his lips.

Okay… maybe he was drunk too, but you couldn’t help the blush that appeared on your face, inconspicuously trying to fan your face without him noticing, trying to play it off that you were hot.

“Why are you blushing?” He asked, and you silently cursed. “Is it because that guy is checking you out?” He quipped.

“Wait— what?” You started, confused and you followed the trail of his glass as he motioned behind you.

There was a tall guy standing by the bar —taller than Jin and he had jet black hair side swept into a flowing fringe. He was incredibly good looking— dare you say it, hot, and sure enough he was looking at you. He smiled when he saw you notice and you couldn’t help but to back, feeling your heart beat a little wilder in excitement. That was until Jin scoffed and you quickly turned back around to face him. He had this warped grimace on his face that you’d never seen before and rolled his eyes.

“He’s been looking at you since you came here. Does he have no decency— can’t he see your speaking to someone. God, I mean — I could be your boyfriend or something.”

You were very aware that Jin was grumbling and acting weird, but you wouldn’t question it too much seeing as he was incredibly drunk and as you watched him you saw him sway a little in his seat as he downed the rest of his beverage.

“Jin, I think you’ve had a bit too much to drink tonight. Maybe we should go home?” You asked, slightly worried.

Maybe organising a night out for him was a bit of a mistake. He was drinking his sorrows away and that wasn’t good.

“Aren’t you going to go over and speak to him? You must have liked it if you blushed?” He asked as you stood up. He was sounding bitter and it was something Jin hardly ever sounded.

“No,” you shook your head, rounding the corner of the table and pulling him up by his shoulders. He was obviously a lot heavier than you, but once he was up he managed to steady himself. “I’d much rather take you home,” and with a grin he agreed.

It wasn’t until you were back at home that the questions started reeling out if him as he slumped himself on the sofa and you followed suit.

“Why didn’t you speak to that guy? Did you not want to? He was checking you out so hard I thought he may strain his eyes. Did you like him? He was seriously good looking.”

He was babbling and you wanted to hush him up —but he had a point. That guy was good looking and you would have probably liked to have spoken to him, however Jin was there and when Jin was insight you couldn’t concentrate on anyone else. There had been many a chance to chat and possibly more with a guy, but in the end, you just didn’t want to. They weren’t Jin and that was the problem. For them too, but more so for you.

You shrugged, “He was alright, yeah,” desperate to shut the conversation down, but then he was carrying on and you wanted to scream.

“I never see you with anyone. Sometimes I even think you have a secret boyfriend back at home or something. You do, don’t you? I’m right— I knew it!” He exclaimed, slamming the palm of his hand in his knee in triumph when you didn’t answer.

“Nooo,” you corrected. “I don’t have a secret boyfriend… but if you must know, I did have a boyfriend before I moved here.”

At that, his ears began to perk up and he raised an eyebrow, signalling that he was listening.

“We broke up before I moved. We knew it probably wouldn’t survive long, so we just ended it.” You explained.

“How did you know that?” He asked quietly.

“We were young when we got together. We were dating for two years —I don’t know, it just felt childish… We’d out grown each other.”

“I don’t think so. If you were together for two years, then you must have really loved him.” He reasoned with you and you shrugged once again.

“I did… but we wanted different things out if life. So, we broke up. I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to move on.” You replied honestly, because even if you were pretty sure it was because of Jin, it still didn’t make it any clearer.

“Maybe you still love him…?” He began, but you shook your head and laughed. Jin was drunk and he was talking nonsense.

“No, it’s definitely not that, Jin. Me and Sunhong had an expiry date. We knew it wasn’t going to last much longer than high school.”

He was silent for a moment as he took the information in, before he nodded in agreement.

“That’s what it was supposed to be like for me and Sohee, but I think she wanted to hang on to me. It was only supposed to be a summer fling —as gross as that sounds, but next thing I know she’s talking about moving in together… Argh… I don’t know, maybe it was my fault…” he sighed.

That made everything slightly click into place. Why he was so adamant on not introducing her to you, why he never brought her up in conversation, why he was so hesitant to say he loved her that one time…. He wasn’t sure he did… maybe he never had? Maybe he wasn’t sad that the relationship had ended and maybe, just maybe, he was the one that broke it off with her…?

More silence filled the room as you both contemplated things before he spoke again. “Are you going to be leaving me after this year ends?”

It was sudden and a shocking question for him to he asking you and when you looked up at him confused, he carried on.

“Sohee said something about you guys discussing options and you said you were going to be moving in with your friends?” He explained and you could have laughed at the out right lie.

Of course, you had thought about moving out when things with Jin had become difficult and you found yourself spiralling out of control from your maybe feelings, but you had never once said to her that you would be leaving to move in with your friends. What a liar. What a bitch.

“I didn’t quite say it like that. I will keep on living with you if you want me too.” You said slowly, being careful not to drop her in it. It probably didn’t matter, but you didn’t want to stir the pot, so you left it.

“Really? —but do you want to stay with me?” He questioned, making sure.

“Of course I do,” you answered honestly. “Jin, I love living with you.”

“That’s good,” he grinned, and you had to look away in fear of losing your self control again. Even in his drunken state he was good looking and charming. “Because I think you are amazing. I wouldn’t want another roommate — I only want you.”

“Oh, shhh — be quiet, you!” The blush was back with vengeance and you prayed he wouldn’t notice. There was no mysterious stranger to blame it on now —just an incredibly hot Jin. Maybe you didn’t even have to blame it on anything… maybe this was your chance to do something about the niggling feelings you had for him? Maybe, just maybe…

However, when you looked up to say something, or just to see if he had noticed your blushing, you found him passed out — fast asleep, sitting up with his mouth open. You silently laughed to yourself, feeling absurd and got up quickly, making sure to put the blanket that was over the arm of the sofa over his body and leaving him a glass of water she some aspirin before going to bed yourself —he would probably need them when he woke up!

The next morning Jin didn’t say anything —not that you were expecting him to anyway, and you couldn’t help but feel stupid. Were you actually going to try and confess? Confess what anyway? It wasn’t like you knew how you felt. You were in limbo and you were almost sure that if you and Jin were meant to be, it would have happened by now. He didn’t like you in that way. Something would have already happened…

Before you knew it, it was a few weeks later and Jin and you had gotten back into your normal routine. It was fine to be around him when you didn’t fall victim to one of his smiles and compliments, other wise you’d just be reminded of how much something ached within and how he wasn’t yours…

You were still thankful for how much he had confided in you that night, though. Even if it wasn’t even that much, it still meant the world to you. You had never understood why Jin had hidden so much of his relationship from you, but you were thankful to understand a little bit better. However — you were about to find out that maybe he hadn’t told you the whole truth when it came to the break up…

It all started when you bumped into Jimin at the coffee shop. Like you said, you were acquittances, only knowing each other through Jin, but well enough to say hello. You had always liked Jimin. He was cute and sweet. Always willing to go that extra mile to have a conversation with you and he seemed genuinely interested in what you had to say —whoever the person. That’s how you ended up sitting with him in the corner of the shop to catch up. You hadn’t spoken to him since you asked him to organise a night out for Jin and even then, it had been fleeting.

“I never said thank you for taking Jin out that night,” you smiled, bringing your mug to your mouth to take a sip.

“It was nothing, he’s one of my best friend —though I will say this… he didn’t seem very sad for someone who had just gone through a break up.” He observed and you just shrugged.

Maybe you had been too quick to jump to conclusions and now, you saw that in fact, Jin probably didn’t even care.

“Well— it’s not even that surprising really, considering she was always so jealous… and then that ultimatum she gave him… god, that really was crazy,” he began to chuckle breathlessly, but when you frowned and looked at him slightly lost he stopped and cleared his throat. “…You didn’t know?”

“Know what? You asked slowly, you’re brain already ticking away.

“Well… it’s just— didn’t Jin tell you?” He asked, slightly gobsmacked and unsure at the same time and you shook your head, feeling stupid. As if — Jin never told you anything, even when you thought you did.

“Maybe you should ask him then…” His cheeks tinged pink, he knew he had put his foot in it, but you didn’t care. You needed to know.

“Jimin, just tell me. Please.” You added, needing to know. What ultimatum?

“FINE!” He gave in. “…but only because it concerns you, I guess. It’s just, Sohee didn’t like Jin living with you and being friends with you. She only found out you were friends when Taehyung accidentally let slip that you guys went to the cinema that one time —

You interrupted him by scoffing, “that means nothing, we always go to the movies — we’re friends.”

I know that, so does Jin,” and you couldn’t help but wince at the knowledge that he only saw you as a friend — even if you had already known, it still hurt more than you’d like to admit. “but just imagine what it must have looked like to her. I didn’t blame her at first, but then she started being a bitch and saying stuff about you.”

Things? What things? You realised she disliked you, but she didn’t have to be sly and two faced.

“It was really uncalled for and we could tell it was making Jin uncomfortable. No matter what he said, she didn’t believe him that you two were just friends. She kept saying that you had a crush on him,” at that, you averted your eyes, praying to god the cold sweat that had just surfaced was invisible to him. “then one day Jin told me she had said either move out of the apartment or her and him were over. Next thing I know, they’re over and she’s pissed. I guess she really did end it…”

Sohee had done that? She had been the one to break it off, not Jin like you thought… You were confused. On one hand, you couldn’t help but feel flattered and happy that Jin had chosen you over her —because he had, right? However, then you began to remember what he said that night when you he was drunk. He hadn’t even liked her that much… it was supposed to be a summer fling. He’d never even wanted it to go as far as it did… so maybe it had just been his way of escaping —his way out. He had used you as his way out.

“I can’t believe Jin didn’t tell you the reason.” Jimin finished off, looking mildly shocked and confused.

“He just said they broke up,” you shrugged, trying to pass if off.

“Hmm… maybe he just didn’t want to hurt your feelings. She said some pretty awful things about you guys… hell— he could have just felt awkward too. If you guys are friends, why would he want to hear all the stuff about you guys secretly liking each other? It would just make things uncomfortable in the end…”

You couldn’t stop thinking about Jimin’s words as you walked back home. Jin and Sohee had broken up because of you and he hadn’t even bothered to tell you. To hell with feeling awkward or uncomfortable, you should have been told. There was a mass of things flying around your mind, but mostly you couldn’t help but feel completely mortified that she had been saying stuff about you. In front of Jin and the guys you knew. How embarrassing and how stupid it made you feel. If she could tell you had a crush on Jin — did he know? Did other people know?

You were so mad by the time you opened the front door that the instant you saw Jin’s smiling face greet you, you exploded. You couldn’t help it.

“Guess who I bumped into whilst I was out?” You asked, earning you a furrow of his eyebrows from him, and before he had time to ask you answered yourself. “Jimin. He had some interesting things to say…”

Jin’s brow furrowed even more if that was possible, racking his brain for possible answers, until his mouth fell open wide, realisation washing through him.

“What ever he said, he probably over exaggerated,” he began but you cut him off.

“Sohee broke up with you because of me! She gave you an ultimatum and you just let her break up with you!” You now exclaimed, voice beginning to raise. “You used me as a way out!”

“WHAT?” He shrieked, whatever he was expecting, it wasn’t that. “How could you think that? She gave me a crazy decision to make and I chose the right one.”

“I can’t even speak right now I’m so angry.” You shook your head, rounding the corner of the kitchen island to keep a distance from you both. “Do you know how stupid I looked when Jimin realised I didn’t know the truth? Why is it you never tell me the truth, Jin —huh?!” You demanded. “I thought we were friends…”

“I do… and we are friends! I just… I just wanted a part of my life that didn’t involve Sohee, okay? Is that so bad? I didn’t want to be reminded of her every moment of the day. Of how much of an idiot I was being when I chose to go to her even when I didn’t want to…” he trailed off, his voice losing strength.

“Do you realise how dickish that is? Trailing some girl along, when you had no feelings for her?” You asked. You thought Jin was a gentleman and you thought if he wasn’t happy in a relationship he could have easily stepped up and told her. You thought wrong.

“You don’t even know what you’re talking about…” he scoffed suddenly, his expression changing. It warped slightly and for the first time ever, you saw he was angry.

“You don’t know what it was like… Everyday she brought something up about you. She said some horrible things! So, I don’t think you should be so quick to defend her. You think I just chose not to speak about her in front of you because I didn’t see you as a proper friend? Is that it?” He was ranting now and you just listened in stunned silence.

“Well, it’s the complete opposite! I didn’t say anything because it hurt too much to know she was being nice to your face then bitching about you at every given opportunity. I see you… argh —it doesn’t even matter anymore because everything is ruined.” He cut himself off, panting a little from his outburst.

What was ruined? What didn’t matter and what did he see you as? You had a million and one questions, but for today you just couldn’t stomach it. You needed to be alone. You both did. You needed some space to cool off.

“Look, Jin… let’s speak about this tomorrow, okay?” You asked, your voice gentler now, exhausted, as you made your way to your bedroom, but he looked up at you incredulous.

“SEE?! You say that I don’t speak to you, but when I do, you just cut me off, and know you’re doing the exact same thing! You don’t tell me anything either!”

He was acting wild now. You always told him everything… well for the most part anyway and you felt your anger rising again.

“I always tell you everything Jin! What do you want a play by play of my day? Fine! I woke up at 7am, worked out, went to my afternoon classes and then on the way home I saw Jimin, got practically humiliated and then oh— yes! Me and Jimin organised to go to that new Italian restaurant that just opened at the pier on Friday.”

It was childish really, but you just wanted to annoy him. To hurt him maybe too… if he cared at all. Some part of you wanted to make him jealous too, even though you knew there was a slim chance of it.

“What?” He asked quietly. “You have a date with Jimin?” His eyes were wide as he searched your face and you felt a little triumphant, so you nodded.

It wasn’t really a date at all. You had just spoken about your love for Italian food and he said you both should go to the new place that had just opened. It seemed like a good idea, and maybe part of you hoped that maybe something more could come from it. It was silly to keep hanging on to Jin when you were sure he only saw you as a friend. It was time to move on, and even though you weren’t sure it would be with Jimin, it was a step in the right direction. It was the most contact you’d had with a boy in the best part of nine months.

“You have a date with Jimin.” He repeated, only this time it wasn’t a question, he was stating a fact —or what he thought to be fact anyway.

“Yup,” you nodded again, tight lipped and you didn’t want to admit it, but the look on Jin’s face as you walked into your room and closed the door made you feel something… guilty almost…? You didn’t know why, but it did, no matter how many times you tried to shake it off.

Friday evening came around soon enough and you found yourself waiting at the front of the pier for Jimin. You had arranged to meet there at six and then you would both walk to the restaurant together. It had been a few days since your argument with Jin, and to your surprise you hadn’t spoken to each other at all. The next morning you thought maybe it would all blow over.

You didn’t want Jin to be mad at you, and you were confused as to why he was. He seemed adamant to show you he hadn’t used you as an excuse to break up with Sohee, but now he wouldn’t even look in your direction. In fact, you hadn’t seen him properly for three days. Every time he had classes, you did too and then he was always out when it came to the nights. It was awkward and you hated it, but you told yourself to look on the bright side. You would try to speak to him soon —preferably tomorrow, when you knew he had to be around. It was a Saturday morning after all.

Lost in thought, you only became aware that Jimin was late when you looked at your watch and saw it was quarter past the hour now. Maybe he had just been held up in class, but as more minutes began to tick by you began to become worried. The thought of getting stood up wasn’t nice. You would have guessed that if Jimin knew he was going to be late he would have least had the decency to text you —and if your worst fears were true —if he hadn’t wanted to turn up, you would have hoped he would have just told you. He wasn’t an ass… so why hadn’t he contacted you…?

It wasn’t until nearly half past that you finally give in and pulled your cell phone out your bag to call him. It rung three times before he picked up.

“Hey, Y/N. What’s up?” To your surprise, he answered calmly, starting a conversation as if you weren’t standing outside freezing your ass off waiting for him.

“Jimin— where are you?” You stressed each syllable, spelling it out to him slowly, in disbelief.

“I’m at home… why?” He replied just as slowly, raising his pitch when he asked.

“Home?!” It came out louder than you expected, but you were in such shock that you couldn’t control it.

“Yeah… why, where are you?” He sounded even more clueless now and you bit back the urge to scream. Had he just forgotten to meet you? Were you that forgettable?

“I’m at the pier.” It was all you needed to say to hopefully jog his memory and finally it seemed to get something out of him.

“Wait— what? Did you finish your assignment early? Shit— did you message me and I didn’t see?” He began to panic and you furrowed your eyebrows in confusion, pushing the phone closer to your ear as you began to ask for more answers.

“What do you mean my assignment? I’m here for us to go to that restaurant remember…” you practically hissed. What the hell was he on about? You had no assignment.

“B-But Jin said you had assignment to do over the weekend and you couldn’t make it. He said you were so busy he offered to let me know.”

What?” Whatever you were expecting it wasn’t that, and you balked down the phone line. No way would Jin do that. It was mad. Why would he purposely mess this up for you?

“I never had an assignment.”

“What do you mean? Jin lied? Wow— gosh, I don’t even know what to think,” he gasped a little, and you could hear him run his hand over his face. “I mean, he had acted a little weird when he found out about us, but like… I don’t know. I said it wasn’t really a date as such… Maybe that was the problem. I guess he just doesn’t like the idea of me seeing you, he probably only wants the best— you know, you being his friend and all…”

You were too dumbfounded to speak and all you could do was nod your head, even though you knew Jimin couldn’t see you.

“Shit, well— damn. Maybe you should speak with him. See what’s going on…?” He recommended and you nodded once again, in a daze, before answering.

“Yeah… that’s probably a good idea.”

“Okay, well… I’m sorry that you had to stand out in the cold for so long. Honestly, if I thought you hadn’t cancelled I would never have been late.” He apologised and you couldn’t help but chuckle.

“Thank you, Jimin. That means a lot.”

It wasn’t until you were hanging up and putting your cell away, thinking about ways you were going to confront Jin that the heavens opened up and it started to rain. You groaned in frustration. What a way to end an absolute embarrassing nightmare.

By the time you got your foot through the door, you were drenched and who happened to just come on over and greet you — Jin. He was in a panic and you knew why. On the way home, you’d received endless calls from him and it was obvious by the look on his face that he knew he had messed up.

“Oh my god, you’re soaking! Quick, let me help! Let me get you a towel,” and before you knew it you were getting pushed into the bathroom and he was throwing the fluffy towel over your head and trying to dry your hair. You were too in shock to dispute him, but then as you caught his worried eyes, anger began to flood you. Usually his handsome face made you swoon— now it only made you mad.

“It’s okay, Jin.” You snarled through gritted teeth. “I’ll just have a shower— you know, I have that assignment I really need to be getting done…”

“Y/N,’ he began, his hands dropping limp beside his waist, his worst fears come true as he realised you knew. “I’m so sorry. You weren’t supposed to leave and go wait for him. I was meant to tell you the same thing, but then you weren’t speaking to me and you left before I got back, and then I was worried and then it stared to rain —

“Just shut up.” You whispered, too worn out and wet to raise your voice, but he heard you anyway and instantly stopped speaking. “Did you not want me to go out with Jimin that badly that you just had to ruin it?” You asked.

“NO! That’s not it,” he blurted out. “I just panicked, that’s all… I thought if you went there and found you had fun— that you liked Jimin, that would be it…”

“Be it for what?” You half shouted, done with his crazy reasoning. It really was like something from a film, and you watched Jin shake his head, refusing to tell you.

“Tell me now, Jin.” You commanded and he breathed out an I can’t.

“Jin, just say whatever you want to say! Come on!” Your voice was in fear of reaching fever pitch if he wasn’t careful and you were about to repeat yourself when he finally spoke.

It was less than a whisper, but you heard it— oh, you heard it loud and clear.

“I like you,” and when you didn’t reply, he sighed and carried on. “I like you, okay? Is that what you wanted to hear? That the thought of you and Jimin together made me sick, because it should have been me?”

He was becoming erratic now, and you watched as his face began to tinge red, his eyes wide as he confessed. Confessed something you had only dreamed of, and you still couldn’t speak.

“And I get that you could never like me back —and especially now that I’ve acted like a crazy person and sabotaged your date and made you walk home in the rain, but honesty I don’t care. I just needed to get it off my chest. Even if you hate me, which I totally get. I won’t even mind if you and Jimin go back on that date, you can even end up together. I won’t mind — well I will, but I’ll take it. I’m just letting you know though, that I’ll probably have to move out, because I mean— I feel like I’m pretty strong, but not strong enough to see the girl I like with one of my best friends. I —

He was still going on and you needed to shut him up. He was babbling and his voice was raising and lowering in pitch as he went, his eyes and mouth wide as he tried, and failed to express himself. You need to shut him up, so you did what you thought was best, and something you had been dying to do for a long time— You kissed him.

His lips were soft and plush, just like you’d imagined— no, better than you’d imagined and you wanted to sink deeper and deeper into them as you pressed yours to him, only—

“W-Wait… what’s going on?” He spluttered, pulling back and you raised your eyebrows in disbelief. He wanted this, but when it was happening he couldn’t believe it.

“I’m kissing you,”

“Why?” He asked, eyes wide and you sighed yourself. Was he that oblivious?

“Because I want to; because I don’t hate you, Jin— How could I? In fact, I really like you too,” you admitted, your cheeks flushing pink. “Why wouldn’t I? I’ve liked you all this time. I thought it was obvious.”

“Well, you hid it well,” he gasped, and you couldn’t help but giggle, even more so when the towel slid off your head and onto the floor. You had forgotten this whole time it was still over you and he joined in, his hands coming up to hold your waist, as he pressed his forehead against yours.

“You really like me?” He asked again, his voice soft, and you nodded. “And you’re not mad that I ruined your date with Jimin?”

“I’m a little mad— only because you made me get drenched,” you teased. “And by the way, it wasn’t a date— not really. Not when I’ve been crushing on my hot roommate for so long. I see Jimin as a friend— like he does with me.”

It was the truth and he grinned at that, and before you knew it, he was kissing you this time. His plump lips eagerly pecking against yours before you joined him and it wasn’t long before you were moving in unison, the kiss getting more and more serious as it continued. He was the first one to slide the tip of his tongue against the open seam of your lips and before you could control it a moan left your mouth.

You hadn’t been kissed in so long, and to top it off, it was with Jin. How long had you tried not to imagine this in fear of losing all rationality and now it was finally happening? It was crazy and Jin hummed approvingly before his tongue found yours and then they were dancing together. You needed to hold on to something to keep you steady and you brought your hands to grip the lower half of his neck, pulling him closer to you as your noses brushed together, wet, sloppy noises filling the little room as the kiss grew more urgent and his fingers dug into your waist, before they moved and began to slid up your torso and back, and then they found their place at your head, intertwining with your damp hair instead.

“You don’t know how long I’ve dreamt of this,” he murmured, pulling away to speak before kissing you again; long, drawn out pecks as if he couldn’t bear to be apart from you.

His words made you feel warm and fuzzy inside. How could you have both felt the same without the other knowing? There were too many questions needing to be asked, but your brain was clouded with him, as you felt him begin to nip at your bottom lip, trying to gain your attention and kiss him back.

“B-But, Sohee?” You managed to get out.

“Let’s not talk about that now.” He hushed, “but all you need to know is the reason I didn’t speak about her, or tell you things and even why I chose you over her— it was all because I liked you. It was you. It was always you. I was just too chicken to do anything about it.”

You were glad that Jin was holding you up, even if it was by your head, because your knees began to knock together and suddenly everything felt like jelly. It was you. He liked you and you liked him. All this time. He hadn’t purposely left you out— he didn’t not care. It had all been because he was battling his own demons— just like you. You had both liked each other and had been too scared to admit it.

You flew into him suddenly, your lips on his and he puffed in surprise, but didn’t take long to melt back into the kiss, his tongue finding its way back into your mouth and you hummed against him, your hands finding their way palm flat against in chest.

“You’re still wet… I made you get caught in the rain…” he mumbled against your mouth once again, taking your bottom lip between his teeth to tug. “You must be cold— let me warm you up.”

It could have been an innocent request, but by the way his hands began to run down your neck and then to your sides, your heart began to race and soon enough he was leading you to his room, fumbling for the light switch as he held onto your body, before kissing you once again, walking you backwards to his bed, until the back of your knees hit it and he laid you down, following and hovering over you as you shuffled up the bed and he wasted no time in reattaching his mouth to yours again.

“I’m going to get your bed all damp,” you got out between breaths and pauses as he tugged repeatedly on your lips with his own.

“It doesn’t matter— let me warm you up. Can I take them off?” He lifted his head up to look at you and you nodded eagerly.

If you didn’t know where this was going before, you definitely did now, and you felt heat flush between your legs at the prospect. This was something you had never let yourself think about— well, if you didn’t include the time he came out the shower more or less naked and that time after the gym…

You were brought out of your thoughts by the feeling off his hands unbuttoning your shirt, and then his fingers were lingering on the soft swell of your breasts, a mesmerised look in his eyes as he choked out a wow, pulling himself out of his trance to push the clothing off your shoulders and you sat up to help him take it off, as he moved down and began tugging at your jeans, pulling them off you in one fell swoop, and suddenly you were left in your underwear, your skin slightly wet from your soaked clothes.

Suddenly, his lips were on you, kissing up and down your neck as his hands trailed along every inch of your skin he could reach, stopping to rub some parts as if to warm you up. His touch sent tinges up your spine and there was no way you were feeling cold what so ever. You were on fire and every peck of his lips and lick of his tongue sent you more and more into a tailspin, even more so when you you felt him reach behind you and unclasp your bra and suddenly his mouth was on your breasts, kissing around the supple flesh before taking your nipple in his mouth and sucking, his tongue flicking back and forth, making your back arch and a groan leave you. As you brushed against him you felt his own arousal press against the thin fabric of your panties and you whined, “Jin, get naked too.”

He giggled at that, his mouth still around your nipple but he pulled away quickly, kneeling up to tug his t-shirt over his head and you sat up with him, unstopping as you brought your hands up to graze against his bare chest, finally getting to feel him. His chest heaved underneath your fingertips, as he quickly tugged at the zip of his jeans, excitement becoming too much for him and then he was pushing them down, kicking them off the edge of his bed and before you had time to process anything he was on you again and kissing you, ten times more eager than before, his tongue lapping at every inch of your mouth as his hands intertwined in your hair, pushing you down into laying position again, to hover over your body, his knee parting your legs as he pulled back to stare at you seriously.

“Are you sure about this? You want me?” He asked, and you chuckled in disbelief, gripping him to you as you kissed him nonstop.

“Of course I want to,” you exclaimed each word between kisses, “I’ve never been sure of anything more in my whole entire life.”

Jin sighed in relief, automatically sliding out of your grip to place kisses down your cleavage and stomach, reaching towards your bellybutton.

“Me neither— I thought this day would never come.”

His sweet words were a contrast to his actions as his tongue flicked against your hip bone, seeking permission for what he wanted to do, and as he looked up at you with blown out eyes, his broad shoulders parting your legs, you felt your own arousal grow, keen for his touch.

As if he read your thoughts, he was already peeling off your underwear, revealing your glistening heat and he actually moaned out loud, his fingers automatically reaching to run your juices up and down your slit, and then he was diving between your legs, his tongue where his fingers left off and you let out a shaky breath as he kissed you there, his tongue running up and down before flickering against your sweet spot.

It was surprising to you, that he didn’t need his fingers to add to the pleasure. Maybe it was because it had been so long since you’d been touched like this — but you liked to think it was because you were so turned on right now there was no going back.

You moaned aloud when he began to suck against you, his fingers spreading your legs further as he dug his nails into your thigh and you couldn’t help but tug at his hair making him lap harder against you, knowing you were close by the way your breathing began to become erratic and the bucking of your hips became wild, twisting them against his tongue, and it wasn’t long before soft whines of Jin, Jin, Jin were leaving your mouth and you were meeting your sweet release, your legs automatically closing around his head in a bid to stop the overstimulation as he carried on swirling his tongue against your nub.

In a blur, he was hovering over you once again, his lips against yours and you could taste yourself, feeling his wet chin against yours. You heard him reach over you and fumble in his night stand drawer for something and you pulled away to ask him what he was doing.

“I’m just getting a condom,” he explained, placing a loving kiss on your forehead. “That is if you still want to?” He asked, worry etching across his brows.

“Of course I still do,” you reassured. “It’s just, I’m on the pill… You don’t have to worry about that if you don’t want to.”

He paused for a moment and then began to kiss you again, more loving and sweeter than before, sounds of contentment leaving him, and then he was pulling away, not being able to wait any longer and taking off his underwear too, revealing the smooth skin of his length, but before you had a chance to think about touching him— because of course you wanted to; you wanted to be able to touch all of him— he lined himself at your entrance, coating himself in your juices and you watched him practically shake in anticipation. You were the same and you felt yourself contract around nothing, eager to feel him fill you, until finally he pushed in, all in one go and the stretch was both painful and pleasurable at the same time. He croaked at the sensation of your warmth around him and he toppled over your body, holding himself up with his palms as he began to thrust into you, stretching you out further until pleasure overrode the sting and then you were gasping out, clutching onto his shoulders as he continued to rock his hips back and fore and it wasn’t long before you were meeting him in the middle, circling yours so that you felt him slid and rub against you, earning small groans from him.

“You feel so good— oh god,” he whimpered, and he balanced over you with one elbow as he lowered his head to kiss you and use his spare hand to wrap some of your stray hair behind your ear. It was still damp, but he didn’t seem to mind as lifted his mouth to peck the top of your head and hair, panting loudly as he pulled almost all the way out and thrust back in with a force that had you hitting your head on the headboard.

“Oh shit— sorry!” He gasped, before giggling and cupping the side of your cheek as you joined him.

His giggling turned to moaning as he continued his faster and more eager pace, desperate to reach his end now that he had been waiting so long to feel you and touch you, and at one point he slid out so far, he fell out and whined, his hand desperately reaching between you both to push himself back in when it became to slippery.

As he pulled back, his fingers brushed against your clit and you groaned, involuntarily bucking your hips towards them and he met your eyes, dark and lidded as he watched you lustfully.

“Do you think you can again?” He got out, still driving his hips into you harder and harder, his digits teasing you again as they hovered over you. “I’d love to feel you before I come.”

His honesty both shocked you and aroused you tenfold, but what did you expect? Jin was always upfront— well, not when it came to telling you his feelings… but other than that, he was always upfront, and you choked out a yes, his fingers already drawing figure eights against you before the syllable had fully formed and you wound your legs around his waist, pulling him closer to you as you fought to find his lips, your tongue darting out wildly as you desperately wanted to feel him everywhere as you prepared for your second release. His thrusts began to get sloppier as you whined and panted into his mouth and he gasped loudly.

“Please come soon, I’m not going to last— this is torture… Oh god

Honestly, you didn’t need to be told, and as he finished speaking, the familiar knot in your stomach began to get tighter and tighter and then it sprung free suddenly, his begging sending you into a frenzy and you felt yourself clenching around his member the same time he burrowed his head into your neck, his fringe sweaty, as he came too, shooting the hot, white ribbons of liquid into your warmth, and you’d never felt closer to any human before as you held him to your naked body, both shuddering from your earth shattering orgasms, his movements slowly subsiding until he slipped out of you with a sigh.

You could have laid like that forever, but you suddenly began to get cold and then you were shivering underneath him, your adrenaline subsiding.

“Are you cold?” He pressed, concerned, watching you carefully and when you nodded he quickly raised up, pulling one side of his duvet open so he could help you in and once you were settled, he joined you, wrapping his arms around your body and showering you in kisses; on your mouth, nose, cheeks and forehead, before moving to your throat and biting playfully.

“What if I get sick from being out in the rain?” You pouted, turning your head to try and face him and he looked up from your neck to smile.

“Then I will look after you— it’s the least I can do.”

“What if you get sick too?” You pouted some more and he groaned, before giggling and kissing you once on the mouth.

“Then I will be sick with you.”

You couldn’t explain the happiness you felt at that exact moment in time, but one thing was for sure— you were glad Jin turned out to be a boy— as odd as that sounded. He was your roommate and now hopefully something more…

Summary: When you and Carl sneak out of Alexandria to “explore”, you find more than you bargained for in an abandoned house.

Warning: Fluff, drug use (marijuana), mentions of sex, implied smut, language, angry parents lol

“Are we still meeting up tonight?” You ask Carl as you hold Judith, bouncing her up and down on your hip.

“Yeah. We just have to be more careful this time. My dad almost caught me sneaking back in last time.” Carl says, taking Judith from your hands.

You and Carl had been dating ever since you got to Alexandria, and ever since you two got here, you’d sneak out a few times a week to go “exploring” outside of the walls. More often than not, you’d end up just going to the cabin that was a few miles outside of Alexandria to have sex, but occasionally you two actually went exploring around the abandoned neighborhoods. It was sort of a tradition now.

“I’m surprised I haven’t got caught yet. Maggie and Glenn are always up at random hours of the night for god knows why.” You respond. You and your parents were a part of Rick’s group ever since the beginning, but they had gotten killed during the attack of Hershel’s farm. Ever since then, Glenn and Maggie have acted as parents towards you, and you couldn’t be more thankful.

“Probably because they want to wait until you’re asleep to-“

“Ah, stop there.” You put a finger to Carl’s lips, making him laugh. “I don’t want to think about that.”

“If you can’t talk about it, you shouldn’t be having it.” Carl said in a mocking tone, repeating what Maggie had once told the two of you when she had walked in on a rather heated moment.

“Ah, shut up.” You playfully roll your eyes.

Yoongi’s runaway daughter. part.4 END

Yoongi and daughter AU

[part.1] [part.2] [part.3] [part.4]END

Everything felt rushed, it was all a mess, from the ambulance to the hospital, I couldn’t handle how difficult it was to see her lying there so lifelessly, seeing her like this felt as though a thousand knives were just jabbed into my chest. I deserved it, but she didn’t. My baby girl doesn’t deserve this. So why? Why was she being punished for my own mistakes? If I could take her place and be the one to have been hit, then I would.

When we got to the hospital, everything and everybody was frantic. Doctors rushed her to the emergency room whilst nurses tried their best to keep me from following in. I shouted at them, begged them to save her not even realising that my own tears quickly made a puddle on the ground. I didn’t know what to do, I didn’t know how to feel. I was completely broke inside. I told the members to come and they all came running not long after she had moved her into surgery.

“This is all my fault, all of this it’s my fault.” I repeated over, now sat on one of the many seats that they had to offer outside of the operation room, head in my hands whilst my elbows rested on my knees.

“Yoongi, it’s not your fault don’t blame yourself.” Jin hyung tried to reassure me, but honestly it didn’t work. How was I supposed to believe that when I know that non of this would have happened if I didn’t open that mouth of mine? If only I had treated her better then she wouldn’t have had to runaway.

“You have no idea what she said to me when I was holding her in my arms. Everything hit me like a ton of bricks, I realised how much I neglected her when she was in her worst condition, what kind of father was I?! She’s always looked up to me but I’ve done nothing but disappointed her.” I shouted, I didn’t mean to shout at anyone, I didn’t want to shout at anyone. But I couldn’t help it, I couldn’t help it when I was angry at myself, when my daughter was lying on that cold table being operated on. I couldn’t calm myself down and I knew that the members understood. Hoseok had tears falling down his face, he was Y/N’s favourite uncle. He acted more like a father towards her than I ever did. He was the one who took her out for ice cream. He was the one who helped me find birthday and Christmas gifts every year. He truly cared about her, and I could see just how torn he was by the way he was sat there, emotionless.

“That’s not true hyung.” Taehyung said whilst placing his hand on my shoulder. “You can’t possibly control these things, Y/N’s brave and she’s strong. She’ll pull through this I just know she will.” I really hope you’re right Taehyung.

Non of us moved from where we sat. For the last three hours, we didn’t speak to one another, we all waited here patiently for someone to walk out through those double doors to tell us that my daughter was okay and that her life was no longer in danger.

That moment came, shortly after. All of us rushed to our feet and walked towards the doctor, who was still taking her mask off her face.

“How’s my daughter? Is she okay? Did she make it?” I bombarded her with questions, I knew that but I was desperate. I needed to know.

“The operation was successful, so please rest assured. The anesthetic will wear off in a couple of hours time so please be patient. She may have amnesia, but it should be temporary, worst case scenario means she’ll never remember again.”

“Thank you so much.” Namjoon said, as I saw nurses wheel her out on a bed. I followed her through into her room and sat right beside her without leaving for a second.

“Hyung, you should eat something.” Jimin said to me, tapping me on the shoulder with a sandwich. I shook my head and grabbed ahold of Y/N’s hand, not wanting to let go again. “I’ll leave it here, make sure you eat it.” He said before heading out, giving me some time and space.

I didn’t realise that I fell asleep until I felt something move in my grasp. I shot up and looked directly at Y/N who was now staring at me.

“Baby girl are you okay?” I urged.

“Who are you?” She doesn’t remember me?

“You, you don’t know who I am?” I started crying, this is my fault. All of this was my fault.

“No.” She looked at me confused. This is karma getting back at me for all the shit that I put her through, whether or not the memory loss was temporary, it hurt. It hurt so damn much to have her ask who I was and have her tell me she had no idea.

“I’m your dad.” I continued crying. But she smiled at me, her smile was always so bright and regardless of her condition, she still smiled the same way as she would have a week ago. She doesn’t know who I am anymore or any of our memories, so how is she still smiling? Then again, she’s probably smiling because she doesn’t remember the hardships I put her through. This may be hell for me, but it must be a great thing for her.

“You’re crying a lot, why? Is it because of me?” I nodded slightly.

“I’m sorry princess.”

“Don’t be, dad. Since you’re crying so much, then that must mean that you love me a lot right?”

“Of course I do!” I admitted, of course I love her. No matter the way I treated her, I still love her with my everything, she’s my little girl.

“Well that makes me really happy already so please don’t cry. Knowing that I have your love, already makes me the luckiest daughter alive.”

END

Neither a happy or a sad ending I guess?

CLOSURE!

Okay so here’s a bit more closure for you since I just came up with this idea on the spot 👀😂

Y/N’s p.o.v

The truth is, I did remember. I do still remember. Why this all happened, how it all happened. Every detail before the accident I remember clearly. Then why did you lie you ask?

Because my dad was crying, for the first time in my 14 years of living. I saw him cry. I didn’t want him to be sad, I wanted to start off fresh and this was the best way to do it. I wasn’t about to bring the past back up. Never again.

Not when it hurts the both of us. Maybe now I can finally become the daughter he really loves, maybe now I can finally be Min Y/N without questioning my very existence.

No matter what happened in the past, I’ll still love him because he’s my father and I’m his daughter.

just a quick round up 😀

Angst prompt for you: Andrew going to grab Neil for some reason (not to hurt him or anything) and Neil flinches away involuntary. Cue the "are you scared of me Neil?" conversation.. happy ending pls

Dear to Me

(ao3)

It was a small thing, so small that if he hadn’t been paying very close attention, Andrew never would have noticed.

They were in the kitchen, finally together after months apart. Neil being on a different team made it hard for them to make time to just be together. They had plenty of dates, where one of them drove to meet up for dinner or a movie or a smoke and a night together in a hotel, but they rarely had downtime where they both just existed in the same space and went about their days.

It was like being alone, together. Andrew went about his day and Neil went about his. Sometimes their activities overlapped. Neil came to make a sandwich while Andrew sat at the kitchen table eating a quart of chocolate rocky road ice cream. Andrew came into the bathroom to take out his contacts that were bothering him, while Neil was using the restroom. Andrew draped himself on the couch to nap while Neil was watching an exy game; one that he put on mute with subtitles when Andrew sat on the couch.

Father’s Day: A Markiplier Egos One Shot

“It’s called ‘Father’s Day,’” Host explains. “The idea is that it’s a day to honor father’s. It’s really not that complicated.”

“But what do we do?” Wilford asks, stretching out his suspenders and quirking an eyebrow at the Host as they lounge in the library.

“Well, as figments, we don’t actually have a father. We just… exist,” Host says with a shrug. “This day doesn’t really apply to us.”

“Isn’t Ed a father?” Wilford’s face screws up in confusion. “How did that happen?”

Host pauses. “I… don’t know.”

Wilford shrugs and claps his hands together suddenly, startling the Host. “Oh, sorry, Hosty, but hear me out, what if we did something for Mark? He’s kind of like a father to us, right?”

“You have a very skewed definition of what a father is, Will.” Host takes a sip of his coffee and makes a face. It’s gone cold. Conversations with Wilford are not good for hot drinks. “Lewis?” the Host asks softly, and the dragon obliges, breathing a stream of fire towards the cup and heating the liquid inside. “Thank you,” and then back to Wilford, “What would we even do? Grill steaks? Toss around a football? That would be plenty of fun for me.”

Wilford shakes his head. “No, Host. You’re thinking about this all wrong! This is the Markiplier, we’re talking about here.” Wilford playfully nudges the Host. “And we’re the Markiplier Egos. If we’re going to do something…” Wilford’s eyes get very devious. “We’re going to do it our way.”

Mark finishes up recording for the day and flops down onto the couch. Chica jumps up, stepping all over him, before settling down beside him, her tail wagging happily. “Hey, bub,” Mark laughs, petting the pupper and feeling the muscles in his shoulders relax. They always get tense after playing horror games.

When he hears the doorbell ring, he assumes it’s one of the gang. Amy or Ethan or someone, but when he checks his phone, which he always neglects to do while recording, none of them have tried to contact him. Mark gently pushes Chica off of him, hops up, and goes to check who’s at the door. To say what he sees surprises him is probably the understatement of the millennium.

Most of the Egos are on his doorstep, arms full of gifts and video games and food. Mark opens the door slowly, poking his head out and trying to give them a convincing smile as he worriedly asks, “Um, hey guys. Wh-what are you doing here?”

“It’s Father’s Day!” Wilford screams in his face, tossing a fistful of glitter at Mark.

“Uh, yeah?” Mark blinks the glitter out of his eyes and surveys the others: Bim, Host, Doc, Silver, and even Google have all shown up for… whatever this is.

“You’re the closest thing we’ve got to a father, so here we are!” Wilford waves his hands in the air, eyes and mouth wide with excitement.

Google steps up. “We have brought gifts of chicken and dumplings from Cracker Barrel, the video games of your liking, and…” Google pauses, looking at the Host. “Host and I designed a little gift for you.”

Mark is baffled. They all stand there for a few more awkward moments before Mark finally snaps back to himself and invites them all inside before the neighbors start to stare. They already think he’s insane. Mark doesn’t want to prove their point. Bim gives Mark a quick hug as he enters, and Mark can’t help but smile. “Ed would’ve come, but he’s with his son, which is… weird. And Dark… well, I don’t guess you’d want him here anyway.”

Mark shakes his head and watches as they all stand around inside like they have no idea what to do. “Um, did you bring enough food for everyone?” Mark asks.

Wilford looks at the single order of chicken and dumplings that he’s holding and makes a face. “Oh, I guess we didn’t think about that.”

“Well, I can’t just eat this all by myself while the rest of you starve,” Mark says, walking towards the kitchen. “Come on, I’ll make some of my world famous chicken and dumps for all of us!”

They spend the next few hours watching Mark make the food—he even lets Wilford debone the chicken which he seems to enjoy way too much—and playing video games afterwards. At the end of the night, Google hands Mark a wrapped box with a sad looking bow on top.

“Silver sat on it,” Google accuses the hero.

“I didn’t mean to! How many times do I have to say that I’m sorry?”

Mark laughs and waves them off. “Guys, you shouldn’t have gotten me anything.” He unwraps the box and opens it to find… another box. “Um…” Mark takes the box out of the box and looks at it carefully.

“Speak to it,” Google says simply, and Mark shrugs. Host smiles to himself and listens carefully for Mark’s reaction.

“Um, hi?” Mark watches in awe as the box blinks open two blue eyes and yawns open a tiny, pink mouth.

“Hi, Mark! I’m your little biscuit, Tiny Box Tim!” Mark almost has a heart attack, and the Egos, after Dr. Iplier assures them that he’s not dying, are very proud of themselves for a successful, if unconventional, Father’s Day.

Date ‘n Ditch

“Well. This is awkward.”

“Yeah, no shit.”

“… What should we do?”

“Ain’t much we can do, unless you wanna go tell ‘em to stop.”

“As if!”

“Answered your own question then, didn’t ya Kagome?”

“But we can’t just sit here. It feels so… intrusive.”

“Keh! They’re the ones being gross in public. It’s their own fault if they get an audience.”

“I mean, I know they haven’t seen each other for awhile, but… it looks like they’re trying to eat each other’s faces.”

“More like eat each other’s tongues.”

“Eww!”

“Tell it to those two!”

“This is the last time I ever go anywhere with Sango and Miroku.”

“Same.”

“They’re just… so…”

“Gross?”

“… publicly affectionate.”

“Yeah, gross.”

“How’d you get roped into being here, Inuyasha?”

“I’m Miroku’s ride. You?”

“Sango and I had a movie date, but, well, the plans changed when Miroku called at the last minute.”

“Figures.”

“I really wouldn’t have minded if Sango cancelled our plans. I know how weird Miroku’s work schedule has been, and it’s hard for them to have time together… but I think she felt bad about it, and kept insisting I should come along. Kinda wish I’d said no.”

“You shoulda said ’fuck no.’”

“… I won’t argue with you there.”

“This is really putting me off my food.”

“Yeah…”

“The whole restaurant is staring at us.”

“I guess it’s dinner and a show.”

“Ugh, don’t say shit like that, you’re gonna make me more nauseous than I already am.”

“Sorry.”

“… goddamn, did his hand just…?”

“Yep.”

“And did she just—”

“Looks like it.”

“… fucking gross.”

“I can’t believe we haven’t been kicked out of here yet.”

“… You know what? Fuck this. Let’s go.”

“Huh? Go?”

“Let’s get out of here. Just 'cuz those two won’t get a room doesn’t mean we have to sit here and watch 'em.”

“You want us to ditch our friends?”

“Like they’d even care.”

“Well…”

“We could start a knife fight in here and they wouldn’t notice. I mean, look at them.”

“… yeah, okay. Let’s go.”

“Fucking finally. Don’t forget your coat.”

“What about the tab?”

“Let them deal with it.”

“I dunno, that doesn’t seem very—”

“We’ll pay 'em back later, let’s just go before I start puking.”

“All right. Where should we go?”

“We can hit that movie you and Sango were gonna see.”

“Works for me.”

“… we could get dinner afterwards, too. If, y'know, we’re hungry or whatever.”

“… Inuyasha, are you asking me on a date?”

“Keh! No. I’m rescuing your ass from our disgusting friends.”

“Ah. I see.”

“It ain’t a date.”

“Okay.”

“It ain’t.”

“I believe you.”

“…”

“…”

“Kagome?”

“Yeah?”

“… if it were a date—which it isn’t, okay?—but if it were, would you, er…”

“Yes.”

“What?”

“Yes, I’d go with you.”

“… right. Okay. That’s, um, cool.”

“Inuyasha?”

“Yeah?”

“Will you go on a date with me?”

“… Fuck yes.”

Thought I’d try my hand at my own dialogue challenge. :3
