I know many of us are stressed out on how we are going to make it til October for season 2 so here’s a mini survival guide:
1. There will be an official trailer dropped so we will get more Information and footage. (More room for more theories so y'all can drive yourself insane)
2. August, September, and The better half of October will be promo months so you’ll get a lot of stills and teasers released between that time.
3. In the summertime a lot of panels happen plus comic con is coming soon so we’ll be getting new photos and videos
4.Think of how the duffers are really taking their time on this season and not rushing it, so it should be extra good!
5. Fanfiction and headcanons! They exist for a reason and this fandom has some amazing writers! So if you feel like you can’t possibly wait go lose yourself in some fanfiction
6. The kids are always making cameos on each other snapchats ans it’s Adorable so here are their snapchats:
- Millie Bobby Brown: milliebbrown - Caleb McLaughlin: wise_man1013 -Noah: theschnappchat And Gaten doesn’t have one but his Instagram is @gatenm123
Hi everyone! I’ve had this blog for a little over a year now, and it has made such a huge difference! I remember feeling overwhelmed when I made this blog, so I thought I would make a little welcome-to-the-community guide for those of you who are looking to make a study blog of your own.
Why start a study blog (aka studyblr) in the first place? Because you want to be motivated to do better in school, want to find new ideas, or just because you like pretty stationery. There are a ton of good reasons to start one, so go for it!
What do I have to do to be a studyblr? Make a blog and follow some other study blogs. That’s pretty much it. There are no GPA requirements, supply lists, or complicated rules.
how to start a blog
You can either start a whole new blog (make a new account), make a side blog, or start posting study tips from your current blog. It all depends on your personal preference and how much you use the blog you have now.
Your url is an important part of your blog because it lets people know what you’ll be posting about. Your name + studies is a common url to see, but you can get more creative if you choose!
I suggest avoiding tumblr default themes and instead finding one you like from @theme-hunter. If you don’t have any experience with coding, you can pick up the basics you need to install a theme from Youtube.
After you have your blog all set up, make a post introducing yourself. Include a little bit about yourself like your name, grade level, major (if you have one), interests, and tag your favorite blogs so that they can help get the word out about you!
connecting with the community
Message/send asks introducing yourself to other blogs. It’s easy and it works, study bloggers are usually really friendly and welcoming!
Enter blog of the month or blog awards to get your name out there.
Send random asks, just because. It makes people smile!
creating original posts
You don’t have to make your own posts, but it helps to get your name out there and it’s nice to be able to share your own study tips.
For pictures, try posting your notes, study setup, or favorite supplies. Good lighting and editing with an app like VSCOcam will make them more appealing and get more notes.
Making masterposts is my favorite way to create content. Think of any topic that you know about or would like to learn about, and write out a post of resources or tips.
Canva is a great free site for making graphics
Tag your posts with relevant tags like #studyblr #studyspo, as well as the urls of different blogs as people will usually reblog posts they have been tagged in.
making your blog work for you
Above all, having a study blog is about improving your study habits.
Create a good tagging system so that you can find posts later. It should be simple and easy to remember (this post would go under #masterpost #new studyblr #tips for me).
Find a study buddy or group to keep you motivated
Reblog only things that you find inspiring, regardless of how you think your blog should look.
Start the 100 days of productivity challenge to stay accountable
Install a site blocker so that you can log off and focus!
Welcome to the community! I hope that you find it as beneficial as I have, and I look forward to meeting some new faces!
super super super shitty quick concept sketches of jonathan for the whole ~heathers~ au? like pre-heathers he just looks generally disheveled and tired and just wears hoodies but the heathers give him Gud Clothes, dye and cut his hair, and pierce his ears while theyre at it for Maximum Edge lol
also i decided that since the heathers are providence, jojo, and lil, that im just gonna make their last names heather because then it would make sense why theyd be called the heathers
can you imagine prov sitting there with the earring hole puncher thingy and being like “ok stand still this is for the AESTHETIC” and he probably cries
So after updating, I was super confused about which amiibos are compatiable with the new Welcome Amiibo update and what each one can do, so here is a *hopefully helpful breakdown of each type of amiibo and how to use it in the new update!
Regular villager amiibo cards are all of the cards you get in a regular amiibo pack (series 1-4) excluding the sparkly “special” NPC card. (So not including Isabelle, Tom Nook, KK Slider, etc). These are your typical villagers (Marshal, Rosie, Fauna, Julain, etc).
You can scan these into your game using a new NPC, Wisp! Wisp is unlocked at random at least one day after you update your game.
Using Wisp in your mayor’s home, you can tap an amiibo card to the screen.
You CAN ask the villager to move in.
If you have 10 villagers, they will offer to kick someone out for you! (yay!)
You CANNOT ask them to visit the campground. Unfortunately, the hundreds of previous amiibo cards do not have caravans designed for the characters and cannot utilize the new campground.
NEW Welcome Amiibo Cards (Released December 2)
Nintendo is releasing 50 NEW amiibo cards in December called Welcome Amiibo! These cards are DIFFERENT from the series 1-4 cards.
These cards are horizontal and each villager comes with their own unique caravan!
You CAN invite them to visit your campground!
At the campground, you can purchase their exclusive content, including things not available via the Nookling stores, using meow poitns.
You CAN invite them to move into your town!
These characters include villagers from older Animal Crossing games, as well as some crossover characters with other Nintendo games, such as Legend of Zelda and Splatoon.
There will be special Sanrio crossover cards released, as well (EEE!)
You may see some promotional images of people using these cards, but they will not be on sale in the United States until December 2nd. I’m sorry, I’m unsure about the release date in other regions!
Special Non-Playable Character Amiibo Cards
Special NPC amiibo cards (the sparkly *special* card you receive in each amiibo pack) such as Isabelle, Tom Nook, KK Slider, etc, can also be scanned in using Wisp!
They CANNOT move in to your town.
They may offer you a special item, such as their picture.
You CANNOT invite them to the campground, therefore you cannot purchase their exclusive items via amiibo card + Wisp.
Special Non-Playable Character Amiibo Figures
So there is a HUGE difference between the NPC cards and figures. Though you can scan the cards and interact with them via wisp, having the figure will allow you to invite them to the campground and access their exclusive items and purchase them with meow points.
For instance, I received a Lottie amiibo card when I purchased HHD, thus I didn’t feel the obligation to purchase her amiibo figure. But if I want her to visit my campground so I can purchase her exclusive items, I need to run out and get the figure. Which I may or may not have just done.
They CAN be invited to your campground, where you can purchase items.
They CANNOT move into your town.
I hope this helps you out! There is A LOT of new content with the update and plenty to learn. If you have any questions about the update, feel free to message me and I can try my best to help! Happy crossing!!
I was asked to do a tutorial on how I would landscape around villagers who plotted in either an awkward or just downright horrible place, and thankfully I had just the villager to use to do this. Hopefully this helps! As always, all information will be under the cut!
To all the new Reylo shippers (a small little guide)!
Welcome to the Reylo family. We’re a diverse place full of awesome
group of people from all around the world. You’ll never find a more creative and smart bunch anywhere else in fandom. We’re packed full of metas, predictions, fan art, fanfiction, discourse, Kylo Ren thirsting, multishipping fun, gifs, memes, fan vids, podcasts, wacky headcanons and trashy kinky goodness!
Thanks to Star Wars Celebration 2017 being just as about Reylo blatant as you can get without telegraphing the obvious to the general public, we’ve seem to have gained quite a few new mutuals in our snug corner. I don’t know how many of you are completely new, have been hovering around the edges of fandom anonymously, are in fandom already but didn’t ship Reylo till now but for the sake of this post I’m going to treat you like you are new to Reylo and its accompanying subculture.
For those of us who have been in the Reylo fandom for a long time (and Reylo started right after TFA came out) certain self-governing rules and forms of etiquette have become commonplace and even expected in our space. I feel it important to illuminate these to those who are new to whom it may not be readily obvious. Don’t worry, this isn’t like what kinks are acceptable or anything like that.
A/N: Splendid idea from my source of inspiration/ideas, @lazyneonmonster. This also turning out fluffier than I imagined..
“Hi Y/N, Brett, nice to see you both!” Scott greeted when you step through the door
of Beacon Hills Animal Clinic, having Brett right behind you for support. Your face brightened
up when you saw your former friend and classmate.
You didn’t manage to take a single step until he came to meet you and
give you a hug. “What are you even doing here? Didn’t you and Brett move away
from Beacon Hills about two years ago?” he asked and you backed up to purse
your lips into a thin line.
