Annnnnddddd they’re back again! Alec & Ally hit the blog again–this time with their Seattle-wanderin’ shenanigans. Alec, Ally Jeremy (my boyfriend) & I all hit the town together a few weeks ago despite the downpour (surprise, surpirse) and had quite a lovely time! We had fun exploring the waterfront, going up in the great wheel & running around Pike Place like annoying tourists (sorry not sorry.) We finished off the evening with margaritas (at least I did) & burgers at Red Robin. Thanks you two for the fun day!

Introducing my latest 2014 Senior–Sarah! Sarah is an extremely active member of her school’s ASB and has a serious passion for youth empowerment. Following school she wants to go to school for Business & Communications with the intention of working in the Mission Field. Sarah is also very artistically inclined–hence my bright color choices!

It was hard to pick favorites from this shoot–they all are so colorful!

I’ve been lucky enough to take a couple days off of my “day job” and am currently in Chelan with my wonderful boyfriend. Needless to say–it has given me the opportunity to really put a dent in my editing pile. I completed two senior sessions and have plowed through the half-way mark with the Drummen wedding! To celebrate making it over half-way through–here are some more teaser shots! (More can be found on my facebook page.)

I am excited to continue working on these–I am quite pleased with them so far!

It’s been a busy weekend for S. Weissbach Photography! A family/maternity shoot, a prom shoot & a post-wedding shoot (which I’ll be running out the door to any minute now!)

Anyways, let’s just take a minute to talk about how lovely these Hernandez folks are! Jesus & I met as co-workers & last year when it came time for him & his family to have family pictures done I was flattered when they chose me as their photographer! You can view some frames from that shoot here

Laura, Jesus’ charming & gorgeous wife, is now pregnant with their second child & I was more than happy to take on the documenting of this special time in their family’s lives! Here are a few teaser shots from yesterday; more to come in the next couple weeks!

I’m always excited to shoot senior portraits; high school seniors are so much fun! They always bring so much character & unique qualities to the table and I enjoy getting to know each & every one of them.

A couple weeks ago I had a great time shooting Matt’s late-season 2014 senior portraits. Matt’s parents Dana & Tricia had me take their Christmas photos in their lovely home in December, & I am flattered that they hired me to take Matt’s pictures! Matt is one smart guy. He is musically gifted (hence the guitar) and was recently accepted to Lake Washington Tech where he will be attending in the fall. I also have previously danced with his long-time girlfriend Christie, who tagged along for moral support & wardrobe duty! I also got to snap some shots of the two of them that you can look for son. You can view the rest of Matt’s Senior Pictures here!

Honestly with this wedding I haven’t the slightest clue where to start! Nakiva & I met almost three years ago through dance. We quickly grew close & ended up rooming together for two years; which developed our friendship into a close sisterhood. Naturally, when Nakiva asked me to be one of her bridesmaids I was thrilled; however, the added complexity of shooting her wedding while being in the wedding party was quite the daunting task. I was quite lucky to have some phenomenal backup in Jane Heath & Tricia Cunningham as second/third shooters and I am quite pleased with the results!

Nakiva & Gabe met around 13 years ago as Jr. High sweethearts and through a string of seemingly coincidental events found each other and their unfailing love once more! The ceremony was quite moving (I may have shed tears) and I am so blessed to know these two. Congratulations & the best to both of you in your many years to come!

Introducing our newest Senior to the blog: Sarah!

Sarah contacted me about a month ago to get her portraits done; so yesterday we headed out to North Everett to take some pictures! Sarah is all giggles & was so easy to shoot. She is a softball player and from what her mother tells me plans to continue playing through college.

Here you will find some of my favorite shots from yesterday–enjoy!

A few weeks ago I had a wonderful time out in Everett with Jonathan, Adrienne, Alyssa & their baby boy who is sooooon on the way! (You may remember their initial preview shots here.) Today we had our second session indoors and I am really excited to start editing. In the meantime, I finished off the shots from their first session and they can be viewed on my facebook page. Above you will find my favorite shots.

I’m a little tardy in blogging some of the final shots of this lovely family; but here goes! Jesus, Laura & their ever-growing clan are becoming a recurring family on the blog–and I’m lovin’ it. These folks are some of the finest & I am so blessed to call them friends. Here are some of my favorite shots from their family/maternity shoot a few months ago! Love you guys!

So pleased to present my first 2015 senior of the season–Caiti! I’ve been so blessed to have known this girl for 7 years or so now & to witness her grow into a beautiful, intelligent, skilled woman of society. Words simply do not do justice to how much I adore this young lady! Caiti, I wish you the best in your final year of High School. Remember, the best is yet to come!

Last month I had the luck of tagging along with my boyfriend & the kids on a trip to Bend, OR to celebrate Jason’s (Jeremy’s eldest brother) 40th Birthday! Kim (Jason’s lovely wife) put together a fantastic birthday bash at Cascade Lake’s Brewing Company and rented out the entire upstairs so the kids could run wild. Kim & Jason housed so many people that weekend, there were at one point 9 kids in the house! I had a great time–above you will find some of my favorite shots.
