Black Monday (October 24th) - Asexual Q&A!

The black means asexuality. So, what is asexuality? Why do you need asexual awareness? How do you come out as asexual? Should you?

Today, we’ll be doing a Q&A day so any question at all that you have about asexuality or the a-spec community, ask away!

Gray Tuesday (October 25th) - It’s A Gray Day!

Gray means gray ace. Attraction can be complicated and the a-spec community isn’t just asexuals. Think you may be ace but don’t feel like it fits you? Try out gray ace or demi!

Our inbox is open so send us questions about gray asexuality, demisexuality, and types of attraction!

NaNonWriMo starts next week!

In the days leading up:
Tuesday, October 25th: Choose your topic and write it like a title in two parts. “Witch Pagan Book: Spells and Gods”
Wednesday, October 26th: Brainstorm your research materials, specific books, websites, magazines, interviews, experiences, places, diaries and start gathering them together.
Thursday, October 27th: Determine what your reader will know and be able to do when they have completed the book and any instructions in it. Write it like an affirmation. “My reader is now a competent worshiper and sorcerer of Cthulu.”
Friday, October 28th: Get your writing materials ready. Do you have the computer program you want? You can try Scrivner for free and get a huge discount if you buy it during November. Do you need a new notebook and pens? A makeshift lap desk for your bed? Cleanse or bless your writing space, set up a shrine to your muse.
Saturday, October 29th: Draw, photograph or collage a working cover for your book. Write a little blessing to empower your writing in it somewhere, maybe use a sigil or runes.
Sunday, October 30th: Make an outline–as detailed or as simple as you prefer, but at least have chapter ideas picked out. If you can write a thesis statement for each chapter even better. Pro level pick out subheadings for your chapters. Pick a number of chapters that has meaning spiritually or magically like 9 or 13 etc.
Monday, October 31st: Celebrate Halloween/Samhain and get pumped to start NaNonWriMo Witch Pagan tomorrow!!!
