Author’s Note: I’m so sorry for the massive break between this part and that last one. But I’m going to finish this story.
A shrill beeping grabbed your attention. When you saw the words on the screen you let out a string of profanities. “Mother fucking dumbass children. Clint!” You called to the farmhouse that had been your home for the past year, flipping a switch to make the lights downstairs flicker. “Your dumbass children are gonna get someone killed!” You called, as you could hear the heavy clomp of boots coming up the stairs. He burst into the office, trying to figure out what was wrong.
“Look at this.” You gestured to the computer, a couple of windows were open. One had the alert going. It was about the Sokovia Accords, showing the destruction in Lagos that started the ball rolling on this particular piece of legislature. “Let me say it again. Mother fucking children can’t survive without us. The public is going to crucify Wanda.” You said without fully realizing the weight of your words.
