we're just not sure

Mic drop teaser dropped today, and people are already starting on really deep theories. But I think this one is very straight forward, and the symbolism isn’t hard to decipher.

The main setup of the trailer (and probably the mv too) is an interrogation room with a one way mirror.

BTS are in the room, with mics in front of them. They’ve done something that the “police” thinks broke the law, and are being interrogated and judged. The law that they broke could be the unwritten rules that one can’t get big if you aren’t from one of the top three companies, or that a Kpop group can do well outside of Korea without the full support of the Korean media. There are probably a shit ton of other unspoken rules they broke.

Outside of the room, on the other side of the mirror, you can see cameras and a DJ set. The cameras could just simply mean the news that’s watching them and judging them. Or it could be just simple outsiders that are waiting for bts to do something to incriminate them.

The DJ set could stand for the music industry, both Korean and western. They’re also looking at BTS from behind the glass, waiting and judging. The industry is fickle after all, and it’s so easy for artists to do something wrong or to simply fall out of favour.

BTS can’t see who is on the other side of the mirror, but the other side can see them.

Then there was another shot with black hooded people bobbing their heads. I assume that they stand for the ARMY. They’re inside the room with BTS, they’re being judged together with BTS. Every single one is anonymous, but if they do something wrong BTS will be judged for it. But in this shot they’re just there, enjoying the music, and most importantly, blocking the other side of the mirror’s view of BTS. As long as the ARMY is there the other side can’t get to BTS.

  • [When Keith and Lance first start dating]
  • Keith: Let's just keep this between us for a bit till we're more comfortable, okay?
  • Lance: Sure. Just between us...and Hunk.
  • Keith: Wha- Okay fine. You can tell Hunk.
  • Lance: We better tell Pidge, too. I mean, she'll guess it no matter what so no big deal.
  • Keith: Oka-
  • Lance: OH and Shiro would probably like to know for team purposes. And we all know he'll tell Allura and she'll tell Coran sooooo just us and a few friends :)
  • Keith: That's literally everyone on the ship, Lance

Once Finn found a poem Poe wrote about him.

I can’t stop thinking about how if Liam or Zayn were the ones to have said something like “can’t take you home to your mother in a skirt that short” in a song or in an interview, they would’ve been absolutely torn to shreds by larries/harries and people wouldve been talking about how gross it is for days just like how they did with Niall after that bad joke on ALOTO.

Y’all, I get about 4 request questions every day asking if I could draw this and that and whatnot. I was talking to my sister about it (while also complaining that I’m in a major art funk and have no inspiration for anything atm) and she came up with this idea. So I’m opening up requests, (honestly, anything and everything, as long as it’s appropriate) and she’s gonna go through them and help me decide which ones to draw. SO SEND THEM IN NOW! I’m only going to keep them open until Friday, so get them in while you can. And please, my sister is 13, so try to keep them appropriate! Thanks buds! Can’t wait to see what you request! =)

In which Steve is awed by the Strike Team Delta.

He’d had time to pour over the briefing from S.H.I.E.L.D. and only enough time to try and process in the quinjet on the way to what Coulson was calling a Helicarrier.

He felt both awe and reticence when he watched the files on Stark. He was intelligent and reckless and made Steve think a little of himself and, much like he felt in his own skin, he wondered how much of Stark was a costume.

He felt guilt watching Banner.  Of all the advances made in the twenty-first century and still Erskine had been so beyond his time that no one had yet caught up to him.  The fascination with the serum – with what Steve represented – had led Banner to a prison made out of his own skin.  (He would wonder, later, how far off the trial serum had been in Banner’s case, I’m always angry, echoing in his head).

He felt dumbstruck at the possibility of Thor’s existence.  For all that he had seen in the life he’d had Before, he never thought – he’d seen the vast expanse of the cosmos, before Schmidt had disappeared into it, but he hadn’t thought that there’d be something else –someone else – out there.  It made him wonder if Schmidt was still out there, too.

He’d watched and re-watched the footage of Strike Team Delta – Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton.  He was.  He was awed, and looked forward to meeting them most of all.  As far as the information from S.H.I.E.L.D. had noted, they had no enhancements.  They had pasts, sure, but they had no serum or otherworldly abilities or suits worth millions.

They were human, made of blood and sweat and hours upon hours of practice and (to read their files) abuse and perseverance and they were as skilled and fearsome a team as any of the others recommended on Fury’s list.

Steve thought of his time Before, he and Bucky, back alleys and bloody lips and scraped knuckles and how hard it was to survive and here were two people so dedicated, so skilled they may as well have been a two-person Commando unit.  Were, as far as Steve was concerned.  He was anxious to meet them.

Ed: “Oswald… You’re alive?!”

Oswald walks up to the bars separating his cell from Ed’s and slowly grips them, his surprised and steely glare at Ed never breaking. He then softens his gaze, giving the smallest of smiles before forcefully lunging his arm through their divider, in an attempt to grab his former best friend and near-successful murderer, but Ed frantically jumps back just in time to be out of his reach. The two continue to stare at each other, Ed showing his shock and anxiety at the situation, while Oswald’s eyes exude a quiet rage mixed with heartache, trying hard to keep himself collected.

Ed: “…”

Oswald: “…”

Ed: “I… I take it you’ve seen the painting-“

  • Draco, talking to pansy: I haven't heard anything, but I bet Harry got the job. I mean, why wouldn't he? He's totally qualified and smart; everyone loves him. And... if he never comes back again, that's okay. We're friends now and I'm sure we'll stay friends. We just... we never got the timing right, you know? He shot me down, and then I did the same to him. But you know what? It's okay, I'm totally fine. Everything's going to be totally--
  • Harry: Draco! [looks at pansy] Er-Sorry. Um, are you free for dinner tonight?
  • Draco: ...Yes.
  • Harry: Alright, then... it's a date.[grins sheepishly and leaves]
  • Draco: [looking so happy he's about to cry] I'm sorry, what was the question?
