we so spanish

You can't deny this about Floriana Lima

All this year people has been disrespectful to Floriana Lima. Questioning her casting process, her ethnicity, insulting her skin color and criticizing her private life (I’m not going to get into that discussion again).

Despite of all that, SHE NEVER, EVER!!! has been rude to fans, she has never made fun of them, she is always serving the fans nicely with that characteristic smile and she cares about the LGBTQ fans, unlike other cast members who have been treated much better than her (Jeremy and Melissa).

All this kindness and gentleness of her, after all that bullying she has experied, makes me appreciate her, admire her, protect her and love her even more. Thanks for include Floriana Lima as SANVERS 50%. We are so lucky to have her.

  • Magnus: How do we usually get out of these types of messes?
  • Samirah: We don't. We make a bigger mess that cancels out the first one.

I love how every party I go it plays Gasolina, but now it have a whole new meaning to me

Real meaning behind every song off of Blurryface
  • HeavyDirtySoul: yolo zombies are ironic
  • Stressed Out: candle making is how tyler relieves stress
  • Ride: we do reggae now
  • Fairly Local: we might have a thing for the radio
  • Tear in My Heart: fuck potholes
  • Lane Boy: don't trust Beyonce
  • The Judge: just never go outside
  • Doubt: we can pull off the repeated syllable thing
  • Polarize: we know so much spanish, like tres whole words
  • We Don't Believe What's On TV: we dont believe whats on tv
  • Message Man: you dont even know me!
  • Hometown: Inthedark, USA
  • Not Today: piano players are hardcore
  • Goner: blurryface was originally tyler screaming for 40 minutes with josh playing tambourine

another thing I remembered that’s great about One Day at a Time is how elena and alex both have a different understanding of spanish. Elena who is the older sister barely speaks it and has more difficulty understanding it than Alex. It’s just such a real and important portrayal of a latinx immigrant family. Not to mention, how a lot of latinx living outside of latin america don’t speak spanish and it’s just so important to highlight this and understand how it plays a part in understanding latinx immigrant identity.

Ok but I headcanon Lance knowing several languages mainly because he talks so much but that’s not the point. Just imagine Lance having a really good ear for, and knowing, an unusual amount of languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French etc.), and like, he sings in all of them sometimes here and there when he’s washing Blue or working on chores or fixing his hair or making breakfast and no one really thinks about it because hey they know he speaks Spanish and they don’t pay much attention enough to know that he’s got a list of languages to sing in.

And since languages come easily to him, he just kind of starts picking up Altean and one day he’s talking to Coran or Allura in fluent Altean and the other Paladins are shocked like HOW and it takes him a minute to realize that right he never told anyone that he can speak so many languages and the only one whose not surprised is Hunk because Hunk knew the whole time.

When I was a little (like 5 years old) I though cartoon characters where real and they just lived somewhere in New York and that they where “underground actors”.

Idk why but I always though that the director was a duck that we never saw in any cartoon, and that he was doing “the magic” behind the scenes.

What is Marcus's opinion on Josh and Wrench's relationship(?)

Episode Three of Los Jaquers…

They’re having fun with it.

This is How Head Canons Die
  • SDCC17 Voltron Panel: Lance is the youngest sibling.
  • My HC of Lance's hothead younger sister joining the Garrison to find him, getting abducted by Galra when she finds Blue's former cave, getting rescued by and joining the Rebels, reuniting with Lance, ranting in Spanish, bonding with Keith, and developing a fulfilling romance with Pidge: Well shit.

“Don’t be afraid,” I murmured. “We belong together.”
I was abruptly overwhelmed by the truth of my own words. This moment was so perfect, so right, there was no way to doubt it.
His arms wrapped around me, holding me against him, summer and winter. It felt like every nerve ending in my body was a live wire.
“Forever,” he agreed, and then pulled us gently into deeper water.

Really bad spanish

Okay so we were in Spanish today and were reading this book called Pobre Ana its like beginners since most people are new to the language, anyways so this kid was reading and meant to say “muchas casas aquí son pequeñas” which means many houses here are small but instead he said “muchachas casas aquí son preguntas” which translates to girls houses here are questions.

because my favorite dynamic is maui trying desperately to save moana, an idea bouncing around in my head:

maui fights te po, loses, but doesn’t die. te po has a grudge against him. moana finds maui, they restore te fiti, and at this point everyone above ghostly spirit status knows that the way to get to maui is through moana.

this status-designation includes moana, by the way. saving a goddess comes with rewards - or is immortality a punishment? she hasn’t decided yet.

at least she has a cool oar for a weapon.

but it’s not long until motunui’s children start dying, and even less time until moana realizes who is behind the sickness. while maui is away - or perhaps she waits for him to leave, because she knows he will try to stop her - she takes off for the goddess. to fight, to negotiate, she’s not sure. but she knows she won’t be back.

maui catches up with her halfway across the ocean, this chief-turned-demigoddess determined to die for her people.
