Wedding bells are officially ringing in Storybrooke!

Once Upon a Time’s highly anticipated musical episode is almost here, which means that we’re just a few days away from witnessing Emma Swan and Killian Jones say “I do” in a breathtaking wedding ceremony. (Trust us. It’s perfect.)

ET had the pleasure of visiting Once Upon a Time’s set in Vancouver, Canada, last month during filming of the musical matrimony, and we sat down with stars Jennifer Morrison and Colin O'Donoghue for an intimate and in-depth interview that focused on each and every aspect of their on-screen wedding.

From their “honest” vows, to Emma’s “timeless” wedding gown, and their dream honeymoon – only ET has all the inside scoop straight from the stars of the series! Plus, we’ve got additional details from executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, as well as Once Upon a Time’s head costume designer Eduardo Castro.

So, shall we get started? Or, as O'Donoghue cleverly put it: who’s ready for some “music and dance and some mighty fine romance” at Captain Swan’s wedding?

Just a warning that this is the biggest Once Upon a Time article we’ve ever written, so grab a comfy seat, put your cellphone on silent and get ready to go on an emotional roller coaster of feels. And, as always, please remember to breathe!

1. The Venue: The Once showrunners confessed that they had considered a number of “other places” for Emma and Killian to tie the knot – yes, even Granny’s! – but in the end, they settled on a brand new Storybrooke location for the ceremony. “Without wanting to spoil the episode, there’s a story reason for why it’s on the roof,” Horowitz revealed. “But there’s also something to us that was super romantic about having Storybrooke as the backdrop.”

Emma and Killian will tie the knot in front of a dream-worthy sunset and surrounded by their closest friends and family. “It’s the place where they’ve kind of come together,” Horowitz continued. “Where their love has grown and where both of them as characters have grown, so seeing the whole town kind of beneath and surrounding them felt like a really cool way to do it.”

“I thought it was perfect,” Morrison dished. “We just felt, like, what better way to make it feel extra special than to have [the wedding] also be the musical episode?”

A Reminder: Don’t underestimate female muses, not mine or anybodies. It’s fine for your character to underestimate them, however, do not let those feelings spill over into the real world. If a female muse is evil, believe it. If a female muse is powerful, believer it. If a female muse is strong, believe it. Don’t ignore the traits of a woman all because she is a woman: pay attention to them, so that you may understand what powerful beings they truly are.

On Alisha Diphda

I love Alisha. I really do. In fact, she might actually be my favourite female character in Tales of Zestiria (it’s so hard to pick favourites in Zestiria, since everyone’s so amazing and lovable). She’s kind, responsible, and fully capable of standing up for her morals and doing what she believes is right. Her strength and resolve are truly inspiring, and despite everything she goes through, she somehow manages to keep pushing forward for what she believes is important to her and the people she cares about. I actually see a lot of myself in Alisha–her idealism and slight naivety are things I can relate to, and her strength and persistence remind me to keep my head up and never give up on the things I value and believe in.

I entered the school, trying to keep my small self-cheering to myself and walking with a teeny smile on my face. I greeted the kids I know, some greeted me back some just nodded at my existence, but none of that really bothered me. No, nothing could possibly bother me lately.

I was happy, is it too cheesy to say that?

Recently it is felt as if teenagers can’t feel happy, only stress and worry on their minds. Occasionally depressed, but it is the youth, mood swings are totally acceptable, which is how adults completely ignore any kind of scream of help coming from their children. With all the pressure coming at us, whether it’s socially with all the high standards or it’s school, which has really not any kind of low standards and you have to want, not need, but want to achieve a full score on anything.

But out of all the odds, I was happy. After everything that has been going on, being a little selfish and having a dot of happiness is what I deserve.

I went on and passed down the halls, getting to my locker and opening it. I felt a presence behind me but I brushed it off since tons of kids are walking there, but turned around when someone coughed and touched my shoulder to get my attention.

this last 19 days chapter was very bittersweet, especially in the way that it foreshadowed jian yi disappearing for years in the future

i really loved the last two panels, with zheng xi and jian yi just holding and comforting each other, being each other’s anchor while the world keeps moving around them

part of me still expected - and wanted - more out of this arc, tho, which could still happen, i guess, but knowing how old xian has the bad habit not to follow through with things im not holding out hope

it’s just frustrating to me to see them keep being stuck in the same place when they could just!!!!! talk!!!!! and i know that i sound like a broken record, but i still can’t stop asking myself how much does jian yi knows about his situation because ??? the boy got almost kidnapped, then actually kidnapped two days later and got saved by the same dudes who tried to kidnap him in the first place, and he’s just?? pretty chill about it?? and has no questions about what the f– is going on?? and i get that he is trying not to make zheng xi worry even more, but why not tell him about what happened? (again, i know it could still happen, but i don’t have much hope for it)

if the 19 days of the title refers to the (school) days until jian yi’s disappearance, we are now at day 11? 12? [it was day 9 when jian yi got kidnapped], so i wonder what is going to happen now, for both pairs, but especially for zheng xi and jian yi something’s gotta give soon

Lgbtq+ people getting outed and kicked out is such an important, real-world issue. And yet they (SG) doesn’t properly explore it? What the actual fuck.

Movie Theatre Woes

Not a fuck customers so much, rather a happy ending from a surprising source. This happened a while ago, but I only just found this blog and wanted to share.

So I worked at a movie theater for about eight months in 2016. Good job, decent hours and fun co-workers (I shouldn’t have fucked it up by being that coworker that always called in, but I’ve learned from that). Pain in the ass in the heat, but it was bearable.

We were sectioned into four areas:

Concession; people who made popcorn

Bloopers (changed from the brand name); which dealt with hot food like burgers and hot dogs as well as frozen yogurt and ice cream

Floor; which was the people ripping tickets and cleaning the lobby and theaters

Box Office; which was just selling tickets, only open in the evening and all day on weekends.

I HATED being on floor. It was boring, I hated standing around and ripping tickets when I could be interacting with guests for more than 5 seconds, and I loathed cleaning theaters. (Which meant I loved when there weren’t a lot of people in them. We had night guys but we were in there cleaning in the 15 minutes between shows)

So you can imagine how great it was when people stayed around for the clip at the end of the Deadpool movie, and Deadpool straight up told everyone in the theater that leaving their garbage was a dick move. I saw more people coming out wondering where to put their garbage than ever before, and saw some of the cleanest theaters in my time being there. Which is saying something, since we only had one ‘premiere’ theater (bigger screen, better sound, nicer seats, two rows of moving seats) that any Marvel or hyped movie went to.

So thanks, Deadpool, for making being on floor not shit for the two/three weeks you were in our theater.

The Years Keep On Turning

I’m late, but oh well. Life happened and it was shitty, so I wrote this to cheer myself up and I hope it works for some of you as well. It’s not betad, so the copious mistakes are all mine. A birthday vignette in honor of our beloved muse, Katniss Everdeen. May she never be without her toastbabies, her dandelion in the spring, and plenty of delicious food. RATED M for smut.

ELEVEN

She plays in the meadow, twirling and leaping, pretending to have wings like a bird so she can fly. Her father needs only a word, though, to draw her from play and into their chores. The flying girl doesn’t view the chores with distaste at all. She rather enjoys them, especially the moments of free time they get to savor the woods. Like today.

“Come down from that tree, Hummingbird,” the girl’s father calls up to her, his hands cupped around his mouth to amplify the sound. She grins and flips so she’s hanging from the branch by her knees, completely missing her father’s gasp of fear and the handful of running steps he makes towards the base of the tree before her giggle stops him.

“Your Mama’s waiting with your birthday surprise,” he admonishes, the fear of a moment ago making his voice harsher than intended. The girl sobers, hearing the subtle difference, and swings her feet over her head to the branch below before scurrying down the trunk and landing with a soft crunch of leaves, next to her father.

“I’m sorry, Papa,” she whispers, her expression contrite.

“It’s okay, Katniss,” the father says, picking up the girl’s game bag and handing it to her. “But we should get going.”

Sherlolly Appreciation Week, Day 6- First “I Love You”

Ok so for this one, let’s kind of pretend that s4 never happened. Yeah, I know, that’s hard to do! But honestly, I feel like any first ILY can’t really be believable if s4 happened and it’s set after that. Thank goodness for the non-canon category for this week’s themes lol! And I believe both @elennemigo and @fangirlhani were in favor of me writing the first ILY theme. Hope you guys (and everyone) enjoy what I came up with! Oh and thanks to @artbylexie for not only beta reading but also helping me come up with the setup of this plot. Fun times lol!;))

On Again, Off Again

Molly Hooper stomped up the stairs to 221B. Really stomped. The anger that coursed through her body was intense enough that it felt good to at the very least slam her feet on the steps as she climbed them.

She’d rarely been this angry.

“Sherlock!”

Molly stormed into his flat with fire in her eyes. There he stood, his safety glasses covered eyes looking a bit confused as he stood at his kitchen table holding a beaker with some unidentified fluid in it.

“Molly?” He looked her up and down in an obvious attempt at deduction as she marched in the room and tossed her bag and coat aside in preparation for battle.

“Sherlock, of all the deceitful, unfeeling, and insulting things to do…” she began, pacing back and forth with clenched fists. “How could you think to treat a friend this way?!”

“I thought it was perfect,” Morrison dished. “We just felt, like, what better way to make it feel extra special than to have [the wedding] also be the musical episode?”

2. The Suit: In case you missed it, we already dished a little on Killian’s dashing (and “really soft!”) suit, but did you know that black velvet wasn’t always the original plan? Once’s head costume designer, Eduardo Castro, spilled an “interesting note” about Hook’s suit to ET during an email interview.

“Originally we had an ivory gabardine suit made and, somehow, it did not hit the mark,” Castro wrote. “At the very last moment, we threw out the ivory and went for a black velvet Burberry jacket that was far more in keeping with Hook’s demeanor.”

Kitsis furthered that he and Horowitz had a very specific vision in mind when it came to Hook’s look. “Adam and I both thought that Hook needed to have a tux that reflects his personality, so you can’t go from leather to just a basic tux,” he said. “We felt like he had to have a little edge to it, so the velvet felt like the Hook version of fancy.”

When asked if he feels “suave” in his wedding attire, O'Donoghue was bashful with his response. “I guess so,” he chuckled. “I hope it looks OK.”

“You look amazing!” Morrison chimed in while brushing a piece of lint off of O'Donoghue’s sleeve. “He’s been getting a little jealous about all of the attention the dress has been getting, so I’m trying to butter him up a little bit about his velvet jacket.”

1. I just don’t care anymore. I care about you as a person, sure. I always will. But not as my person.
2. I no longer feel butterflies in my stomach when you text me, only apprehension and confusion.
3. Your life no longer impacts me; there is no “us.”
4. I always thought of you as an appendage to me and so when you left instead of sadness it felt more like phantom limb syndrome, but it doesn’t hurt like it used to.
5. I will always miss you a little; I will miss the person I first met and the opportunities we once had. But that was the old you, and I don’t think the old you is coming back.
6. I never fantasized about having your last name next to mine or scribbled it into the margins of my notebook, and maybe that says something about the future we never really had together.
7. Each day I find myself thinking of you less and less and maybe one day I won’t think about you at all.
8. I thought we could be friends; I thought I would need your companionship, but we were never friends and we probably never will be.
9. I finally threw out the pictures of us together. I had been so afraid that if I threw out the pictures I would be throwing out those moments too, but memories aren’t disposable. I will always cherish them, but I don’t need them anymore.
10. The human skin replenishes every 27 days. My mind remembers you, my heart remembers you, but my skin has never met you. It has never felt your hand on it while you laughed at one of my jokes. It has never felt you dig your fingers into my neck when you tried to keep me. I don’t think it ever will, and that’s ok with me.

Warning: None

You saw as Peter was falling asleep, his back was faced towards you. You really felt like Peter was something different. He had an actual connection with you, he had lots of things in common with you. He was sweet, gentle, practically everything you were looking for, was what Peter was. But before you jumped to conclusions, you just shook it off and denied it.

You’ve never really thought that you can be in a positive relationship with anybody. You constantly move on, guy to guy, you’ve got serious commitment issues. And it’s hard for you to know who you really want. You slipped out of the bed, trying not to wake Peter up. You started to silently pick up your clothes off of the ground, putting them back onto your body.

After you finished getting fully clothed, you looked at Peter who looked fast asleep. You sighed and started heading towards the closed door. You open it up, making the door creak loudly. You closed your eyes, hoping you didn’t awaken Peter.

‘‘Where are you gong Y/N?’‘ you hear peter groan, making you turn around.

‘‘I’m just.. Getting some water, that’s all. I’m thirsty.’‘ you smile nervously.

‘‘You need me to show you where it is?’‘ peter asks.

‘‘Um, I’m good. I can find my way.’‘ you smile, turning back to the door.

You stepped one foot out the door before Peter said those three words that made you weak.

‘‘I love you Y/N.’‘ peter says.

You turn around and look at him, the innocence in his eyes were killing you. He smiled at you and you smiled back. Nobodies ever said I love you to you, it’s usually just you do what you do. And you leave, no words to be said. But the fact that Peter said those words, made your decision to leave, a lot harder.

hot-cross-bundy  asked:

Romanced companions react to sole asking them if they get shaun back will they play an active role in taking care of him and him growing up? Xx

Cait: “You want… me, involved in your kid’s life?” She’s both baffled and terrified. “I… I dunno what to say, Sole. I’ve never been that good with kids, never thought I’d want any of my own. Never wanted to end up like my own parents. I don’t know if I’m really deservin’ of what you’re trying to give me.” She fidgets, and takes a breath. “I’ll try. For your sake.”

Codsworth: “As if you could get rid of me!” the bot exclaims. “Mx. Sole, the second Master Shaun is back in your loving arms, I will be at both of your sides, with all the love and care I have to give. I’d be more hurt if you told me I couldn’t be involved.”

Curie: “Oh, Sole.” She smiles, looking sweet. “That means so much to me. After all we have been through, I think of you as part of my family, and I hope you think of me as the same. I would gladly help you with your child, showing as much love to them as I do for you. And besides - there is much to learn about being human from a child.”

Danse: “That is a high honor,” he says, solemnly. “But I would not want to come between you and your child. Don’t feel you have to ask me just because we are romantically involved. But…” He fidgets. “If you really want me to, I will try. I won’t pretend I am skilled with children, but I will do my best. All I ask is that you forgive my probable mistakes.”

Deacon: His eyebrows raise high above his sunglasses, and for a moment, he doesn’t speak. “You’re sure?” he says at last. “I mean, I knew we had something good going here, but… That’s, uh.” He swallows. “Yeah. I’d like that, Sole. I don’t know how good of a dad I’d be, but if you want me to be there, I will. He’s your kid, Sole - I’d never say no to that.”

Dogmeat: The question is stated jokingly, but Dogmeat responds with oblivious jubilation. He barks happily, not understand what Sole said but happy to agree all the same. Dogmeat is good with human children. He licks them until they make happy noises, and doesn’t complain if they pull on his tail.

Hancock: “You sure you want your kid hanging around me?” He smiles, and there’s a twinkle in his eye, mixed with genuine concern. “I mean, I won’t say no. I could never say no to you, doll. But you gotta understand, my parenting style is a little loose. I don’t think I’m up for raising any model citizens, but if you’re cool with that, I’d be happy to help you look after the tyke.”

Nick Valentine: “Ellie and Piper call me ‘dad’ all the time, anyway, so.” He chuckles. “If it means that much to you. Always liked the idea of having a few rug rats, before the war. Nowadays I don’t have the equipment necessary for that kind of life, but raising a kid with you?” He smiles, cupping one cool hand to Sole’s cheek. “Well, that doesn’t sound half-bad.”

MacCready: He blushes. “That… sounds nice. Maybe… Maybe when we find your son, we can settle down, bring Duncan back to the Commonwealth. They could be siblings. Get, like, a house somewhere. Yeah, that sounds good. I wouldn’t mind getting to kick back and be a dad for a while. I don’t know how good I am, but… Lucy always said I was pretty alright with Duncan.”

Piper: “Well…” She laughs lightly, toying with her hair. “I don’t know if I’d really be old enough to be Shaun’s mom, but… I wouldn’t mind being an older sister, or something like that. I mean, I raised Nat practically all by myself. I don’t think I’d be half-bad with your son. I’m glad you trust me with something like this. I won’t let you down, Sole.”

Preston: “Wow. I…” He has to take his hat off, all pleasantly surprised and heartfelt. “I already knew I wanted to help you find your son. And I knew that I’d help you raise him, if you let me. But I’m happy you asked. It means a lot to me, Sole. Getting to have a family with the person I love. Being trusted with their child.” He smiles. “I’d love to be in their life. And yours.”

Strong: “YES.” His immediate response to the joking query is surprising. “STRONG WILL MAKE SMALL HUMAN GOOD FIGHTER. STRONG WILL SHOW SMALL HUMAN MILK OF STRONG KINDNESS.”

X6-88: “If you feel it is necessary. It is my job to protect you, and that duty extends to your offspring. I would protect their life with mine.” He hesitates. “As for… emotional bonding, I cannot make any promises. But I will always try to do what you ask of me.”

“But Jessie, you don’t even like honey cereal!”
“…. Your point being?”
