we all know what he means

So what you are telling me is that IF THE RUMOURS ARE TRUE AND SOME LOGIC HAS BEEN APPLIED (not really but let’s pretend), 1D members will all release solo music in the same month.

- Liam’s supposed album that is now longer than my entire life and we still don’t know what he’s waiting for since the solo deal and the album have been announced LAST YEAR

- Niall’s supposed album / other singles since he’s performing as an artist and not a guest at Wango Tango and he can’t really play for 3 minutes and go

- Harry’s supposed single (+album?)

- Louis’ supposed featuring in Bebe Rexha’s EP part 2

Can this mean something? Can this all be true so it means they were all waiting for some kind of ‘freedom’ from old contracts / teams that allows them to start their music careers properly in April with official new teams once the old contracts are finally /over/? For EVERYONE? And with everyone i mean stunts, bullshits, crap images, smear campaigns, embargoes, weird silences, mystery, shadiness etc. ? CAN IT BE TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE BUT ALSO TRUE? Thanks.

Long time fan here don't mind me! Quick question! If Jace Beleren was a dad, what sort of dad jokes would he make?

What do you mean “if”?

Given the state of Jace’s memory, for all we know he could already be a dad…

what do you think of people drawing asians darker than they are? because I've seen some fanarts of magnus (for example) where he looks more black than asian (though I know it must be hard to find the right skin tone). I've also seen some people complaining about editors coloring poc darker than they are, but I don't see this as a problem (unlike whitewashing)? what do you think?

It depends on what you mean by “Asians” because Asians come in all kinds of shades and tones and some of us can have dark skin. It doesn’t make us a different race; we’re still Asian. If you’re doing book fanart, it doesn’t matter. Magnus is Indonesian in the books and that picture I linked are of Indonesians.

For Magnus as portrayed by Harry idk…I’ll take too dark over too pale any day, but I do think it’s important to be accurate in general because one of the big problems about people describing or drawing POC is they don’t bother to study the different appearances we can have. They just go off on assumptions and stereotypes and think that’s okay.

For edits/gifs it’s not problematic the way whitewashing is, but it’s awkward because when you over-correct our skin tone, we turn super orange. And it just looks unnatural. While Harry/Magnus isn’t pale, he also isn’t very dark. He’s about light to mid-range.

*As an additional note, POC with a mid-range to lighter skin tone like Harry or Emeraude are also really sensitive to lighting. But you have to remember that the lighting in the show often doesn’t really wash them out until you start to edit and color the original. It’s the layers of brightness added on top that makes us look so horribly white. So while I know certain lighting can be hard to work with, you have to keep in mind that if the lighting in the original is already pretty bright do not make it even brighter and bluer and then blame the original lighting. Tone it down first and then layer your coloring on top.

Anyway, the best way to see what i mean is to look at pictures where he’s next to people of various skin tones. I’m going to put it under a read more since it’s image heavy.

You.. just… you could NEVER disappoint us.

Jesus. So like… imagine that feeling? I could never understand what he’s experiencing, but if I could maybe put it into terms…

We all belong in many fandoms. We have favorite bands, favorite TV shows, favorite books, favorite youtubers. We all know how much time and effort we willingly put in to those fandoms.

If I’m understanding him correctly, he only has one big fandom. Us. And other things, mostly people. His BIGGEST fandom are HIS FANS.

Mark, I can’t express how much you mean to all of us. Just know that.

Concerning the news that Shin Yoshida will be the director of Vrains:

His treatment of female characters aside (and I assure you, I feel vile just typing that), what this tells me is that we should expect a more traditional YGO series.

What does this mean? A lot of it is plot specific, and we dont know much about the plot aside from that spirit that’s going to be stalking Yusaku, and the mysterious group that he’s going to be taking on. But Go probably isn’t going to be his ‘main’ rival. It’s significantly less likely that his family is going to be involved, if they exist at all. Yusaku being as deeply flawed as at least I was hoping is also less likely.

On the plus side, as much as I loved what Katsumi Ono did with Arc V, it was also arguably the most hetero of all the spinoffs. Unless I’m missing something, a lot of the queer elements present in the other spinoffs were under Shin Yoshida’s watch. That, combined with the pattern of every even numbered spinoff (GX, Zexal, and now Vrains) containing queer elements gives me hope that we’ll have canon queer characters in Vrains.

There also isn’t anything inherently bad about getting a traditional YGO spinoff. There’s a reason why all of us have gotten involved in the series. Would it have been better to shake things up? In my opinion, absolutely. But is not getting that a deal breaker? Not for me.

I’ve also heard good things about the Zexal and Arc V mangas, also directed by Shin Yoshida. So there’s hope in that.

I do hope that Shin Yoshida has evolved as a director. I’m going to give Vrains more than it’s fair shot, just as I did with Arc V’s last third. If anyone feels any differently, I don’t blame you. Just because I’m an optimist doesn’t mean that anyone else has to be.

I’ll criticize Vrains where it falls short, just as I did Arc V. But I do think totally freaking out it premature. I just think we need to adjust our expectations (and that is NOT the equivalent of lowering them).

Hi, can you explain what that quote means to you, "I know I love her because I can sleep after I talk to her." What do you think it means?

I think it means that she settles his soul so thoroughly that sleeping, bearing in mind he’s an insomniac, becomes the easiest and lightest thing to do. And of course it goes hand in hand with “she makes me quiet, like Henrietta” because we all want someone like that 😌

Brennan: “I am inclined to trust you, but I would feel better with more information.”

Oryen: “So would I.”

Tegon: “Since he doesn’t seem willing to share anything else with us at the moment, perhaps we should instead focus on a plan should we be attacked.”

Adalen: “I agree. If we are attacked here I want to know what we should do. How we would get Sevella and the baby to safety and hopefully ourselves as well.”

Oryen: “I had some ideas on that.”

Brennan: “Then, by all means, tell us.”

Oryen told them about his ideas and they began to put together a few escape plans in case they were unable to remain hidden. Hopefully, they would never have to use them. But they were there should they need them.

wait WHAT Joshua has a tumblr? I didnt know and i've been here literally since the beginning of their svt tv days. I really hope he doesn't see what we all say about him... ;;;

I mean it’s not 100%, but if he does than I have a feeling he finds most of the things we say funny

hey so i know that dismissing all the “this is just like when ___ happened in ___ book/movie/tv show” posts as “white privileged liberalism” is real popular right now but like

a lot of autistic ppl process real life events through fiction

and comparisons are the only way we can understand the severity of something

(heck my four year old brother is autistic and he only speaks referentially he literally can’t understand something you’re saying unless someone has said it in a tv show)

so like when i say “oh this is just like when umbridge took over at hogwarts” what i mean is “this is a funny thing to say, yes, but im also contextualizing my experience in a way that means i can understand fully the emotions and social context involved because i’m autistic and don’t understand these things like allistics do”

'Hook' Actor Launches Kickstarter for Rufio Prequel
The story of Peter Pan has been told many times, but Hook star Dante Basco thinks another Lost Boy should get his chance to shine. The actor, who starred as Rufio in the Steven Spielberg-directed f…

Guys. GUYS, LOOK.

Our boy, Dante Basco is trying to crowd fund a Rufio prequel and you know what that means: RALLY, TROOPS. OUR PRINCE BECKONS.

Let’s help bring to life the movie that we always wanted and never dared hoped for. If it were done by anyone else, it’d be whitewashed and made into a mockery of the Lost Boy we all know and love. Dante Basco is going to head this, and you know that he’s going to come through for us.

i can’t stop thinking about what kind of criers dan and phil would be. i feel like dan’s crying would be a slow build up. his eyes just get watery at first, and he tries so hard to keep it in, but eventually the tears start cascading down his cheeks. he’d get a runny nose and his forehead would crease out of frustration because he hates crying, but he does it all the time. when his crying hits its peak, he’d be a blubbering mess, wiping furiously at his tears and constantly blowing his nose. he doesn’t like to be comforted while he’s crying, but when he’s finished and all that’s left is tear stained cheeks, he’d cling to the closest thing, preferably another person that would play with his hair, rub his back, and comfort him quietly.

phil on the other hand is a quiet crier. it happens really suddenly because he’s not afraid to be emotional and soft. his tears build up and he doesn’t try to hold them back. his eyes get red and puffy, and he tries to wipe away the tears quickly with his sleeve. he gets sniffly, but hides it by taking deep breaths through his mouth. his eyes are glossy and doe-like when his crying reaches the climax. he likes to be held the whole way through, even if it’s just someone holding his hand or resting a hand on his knee. physical contact calms him down and helps him feel more real. his favorite thing is when people rub their fingers up and down his arm, it nearly lulls him to sleep, but it distracts him from whatever it is he’s crying about.

*climbing through moffat’s kitchen window* i just find it funny, and by funny i mean unbearably annoying, how sherlock just completely ignored john’s vatican cameos *dusting myself off and going to the fridge* i mean, the entire point of this season and tbh the rest of the show was that john and sherlock need to cooperate to work efficiently *gets a carton of milk and chugs it* and sherlock just went against alla dat even though we know he’d learned from his mistakes after the reichenbach fall. also *pours all the remaining milk over my head* sherlock was gonna shoot himself and john just stood there like a fucken idiot???? whats up with that???

Okay, I’m not sure if anyone else noticed, but when Victor says this line:

he sort of speaks like that doesn’t concern him? Although logically speaking, Victor’s heart would also be fragile, since he identifies that as a characteristic of skaters, and even before being a coach he is first and foremost a skater. Or is he trying to say it like “all skaters except for me”?

But what makes it interesting is what he says next:

Does that mean that he’s speaking from his own experience? That the Victor we know now is a skater whose heart had been shattered sometime earlier in his career? Is that why he initially thinks it’s a good idea to threaten Yuuri? Because he became the person he is through having been shattered?

And it gets even more interesting if you remember the line spoken by Yurio’s ballet teacher/coach in episode 4:

Does that mean that Victor, just like Yurio now, was taught by his Russian teachers that in order to become strong, to become better he must die and be reborn? Is that part of the reason why he can be so insensitive at times? A part of him remains dead after all the things he went through?

Am I overthinking this or are we seeing a parallel between Victor and Yurio and a glimpse into Victor’s past, upbringing, and his current mentality???

I honestly can’t believe some IGOT7s.. It even went so far that BamBam had to practically scold the fans on his own twitter and state what he meant. He shouldn’t have to, you all knew he meant as a fatherly figure, but some fans ruined that by twisting it to inappropriate language. English isn’t BamBams first language, and although Jackson called a fan his “daddy” doesn’t mean BamBam knows of the other meaning.
Not everything is about sex and kinks. I know we all have the dirty thoughts in the back of our mind, but please keep them to yourself and not all over an idols social media. Especially since BamBam looks through basically all of his tweets. Not only that, but this is a sensitive topic for BamBam. He didn’t grow up with a father, he passed away whilst he was still an infant. He stated he sees Marks dad as his own, and that makes me really happy, so what makes it acceptable to joke about his choice of wording. From previous tweets we can see that BamBam takes a lot to heart, because he cares, and he is trying.
As an IGOT7, I’m disappointed, our fandom is better than this. We should be grateful BamBam takes the time to update his twitter to communicate with us in ENGLISH. So please, be more careful and responsible next time. Let’s make fan x idol interactions on social media more fun for the both of us.

Spring Day Theory: YNYA is Namjoon’s era

First I’ll talk about the teaser, and be ready because you’ll have a MINDBLOWN

Ok so look at this scene

pretty normal right? Well when we zoom a lil bit on the left….

Yes. I can’t believe it myself. Big hit is actually sending us some subliminal messages omg.

But what is “Namjoon’s era”?. Namjoon’s era means that the leader, Kim Namjoon aka Rap Monster is appreciated af by all the fandom during an era: here YNYA. This never happened so I guess that many of you didn’t know that.

Farther in the teaser,

Namjoon is wearing a crown. Meaning that he is the king of this era.

Do you know which color represents royalty?? Purple.

And what’s Namjoon’s haircolor??

Purple. Yes I know this is shocking.

Talking about the concept pictures, there’s another subliminal message

the biceps is telling us that he is finally free. He is ready for this comeback, ready to shine.

And finally there’s 7 members in BTS.

omg this fits perfectly????????????im so shook rn

  • what i say: i'm fine
  • what i mean: will we be getting an ova of what happens at this year's banquet? what wild antics will occur? will yuuri get drunk because of how happy he is and forgets that he's a touchy-feely drunk? will christophe bring out his stripper pole again? will yuri be "dragged" into a dance-off with yuuri again? who is going to hook up with who? who is going to drag otabek into a dance off where he shows off moves that no one ever thought possible? all i know is phichit's going to have this all over the internet as it happens.
In The Wee Free Men, the village has a tradition of burying a shepherd with a piece of wool on his shroud, so that the recording angel will excuse him all those times during lambing when he failed to attend church — because a good shepherd should know that the sheep come first. I didn’t make that up. They used to do that in a village two miles from where I live. What I particularly liked about it was the implicit loyalist arrangement with God. Americans, I think, sometimes get puzzled by people in Ireland who call themselves loyalists yet would apparently up arms against the forces of the crown. But a loyalist arrangement is a dynamic accord. It doesn’t mean we will be blindly loyal to you. It means we will be loyal to you if you are loyal to us. If you act the way we think a king should act, you can be our king. And it seemed to me that these humble people of the village, putting their little piece of wool on the shroud, were saying, “If you are the God we think you are, you will understand. And if you are not the God we think you are, to Hell with you.” So much of Discworld has come from odd serendipitous discoveries like that.

I just wanted to draw your attention to something I noticed while looking at 7 million gifs of this scene

This is Dean’s reaction to Cas’ “you’re my family… I love you” He’s full of pain, but is looking away because that what Dean does with his emotions.

This is Dean‘s reaction to “I love ALL of you.”

Just like us, Dean, has heard the distinction, and realised what that means, that Cas loves him in a manner unique to his love for the other Winchesters.

This is the face of a character who canonically just heard a confession of love. That is a “did he just?” face.

This is “you’re my family I love you” moose, with serious sad brows

This is a “why did he just say all of - OOOOOOOOhhhhh.” lightbulb moose (ill admit, its more distinctive on film than still image)

Let the record show that on episode 12.12, at 31:24, both Winchesters had canonically realised that Cas loves Dean - not as a snarky joke from an enemy, not a awkward misunderstanding of human personal space, not just friends - but real love.

It happened. They saw it. We all saw them see it.

It had better be acknowledged.

”Everything he does seemed to be effortless, even now; watching him leap around a stage in front of thousands of people, he seems untroubled and free from self-doubt. It’s easy to be jealous - he’s one of those people who are just good at things, we all know one - but to assume this means he takes it all for granted, or doesn’t worry, or try, would be oversimplifying him unfairly. His bundles of talent are a mixture of natural ability and intense heart.” - Gemma Styles
