waxpastel

It’s been a slow art month. Not that I haven’t had time, but I’m either tired, sleeping, or working on school work when I’m free.

Anyway, this is my most realistic self-portrait thus far, as my style is usually semi-realistic.

I’ve missed using dry mediums, specifically pastel. Which also reminds me I should probably get around to use my markers again. As you may have noticed, I tend to go around with using different mediums. I mean, how can you not with such vibrant and distinct color characteristics each one gives?
On my list, I’d love to try resin, gold leaf, and goache, where I’d love to go back and use oil paint again (it’s been more than ten years since my last oil painting!).
