“You’ve been lied to your entire life… and yet you still listen to them!
Wake up, Hanzo!”

♥ [Part 1]

Story (past) - Part 2:
The Clan council went to Genji and asked him to challenge Hanzo. They wanted Genji to defeat him and prove that no matter how much Hanzo was “faking” to be an alpha, he could never compete with a true one. They wanted Genji to lead. Genji refused, disgusted by the propose, and remarked that Hanzo was perfectly capable of being a leader. He also offended the whole council by saying that Hanzo would probably be the best leader of the Shimada’s Clan history, even better than their ancestors… and that pissed them off. The council convoked Hanzo (it was an honour to be in the council presence, and Hanzo was so freaking happy!) just to tell him that they KNEW that Genji was going to try his luck and MURDER HIM to become the leader. They wanted the brothers to fight to choose who was actually the stronger and rightful leader. Hanzo was absolutely CRUSHED by the news… the only one who believed in him, the only person he really trusted… suddenly become the biggest threat, turning his back to him like everyone else have ever done!
Hanzo believed the council (why would they lie? They were the highest of the authorities!) and fulfilled their orders: he attacked Genji who refused to fight, at first. Convinced that it was only a trick, Hanzo insisted until Genji fought back, exasperated, just to make Hanzo come to his senses. Their fight doesn’t obviously end well and Genji, injured, lose and fall off the waterfall located at the top of the Shimada’s mountains. Hanzo was finally the rightful leader, he could go back to the Clan and finally be accepted… but as he lose sights of his brother he immediately regret his actions and feel the weight of his own actions. He run away, consumed by guilt and shame, and never claim his role in the Clan he work so hard to obtain.

I walked into the room, assessing and counting. Perfect.
“I did it. I finally found a way to achieve immortality. Quiet down, settle, this isn’t a celebration. Rather, a mourning for the lost ones. Sit, and listen to me…
Over the years of attending Elsewhere University, first as a student, and later as an advisor for all those fellow younglings, needing guidance for a school this… Anyways. I never considered immortality, until my life was at stake. Two brain tumors, can you believe it? I was a witch, I had spent years finding remedies to cure my ailments… but the magick I sought out was not that strong. I couldn’t die, not yet. There were so many things I still had to do, young humans to educate, fae to help blend in, kelpies to keep fed. I’d always been raised to believe the darker forces were to be respected and feared from a distance. In my first years, locking eyes with the fae had lead to sage burning for weeks, salt lining every entrance, and prayers being offered up as I crossed any stream. But now, when my mortality was so frail, my life coming to an end? I could not remain so clean. So, I made an offering, every night, for one of Them. A pentagram of rose vines, twelve white candles and one golden, burning, a chalice of gold filled to the brim, thanks to a waterfall. I needed an edge to gain Their favor. I filled a thimble with cream, and then, as my roommate lay sleeping, I pricked her finger. Blood magick is powerful, I knew it would work. They came in the night, midnight to be precise, and before I knew it, we were gone. Not in this world, not quite in theirs. I can only describe it as being on the wind, or in a raindrop, or the center of a flower not quite bloomed. My eyes remained downcast, until They came closer, one lifting my chin. Long hair the color of sparkling emeralds tumbled down Their back, as I looked into the eyes not unlike a garden. Xe spoke with a voice like a spider’s web, soft yet encompassing, deceptively beautiful.
“A young witch, with respect and knowledge of who we are, summoning us. Ask, but remember, nothing comes without a price.”

“I have put my heart and soul into the University for years, but I am dying. Little charms and magick cannot stop the tumors, and even if they did, I need more time. I ask for immortality, and will pay any price. Ask for anything, and I am willing to give it to you.”
Xe smiles then, a mouthful of sharpened teeth resembling opals gleaming at me.

“Anything? For immortality, you would need to trade a life. Many lives, really. Once a year, 13 lives, in exchange for yours. They must be given to you, in any way you can achieve. In return, you will remain young, strong, and immortal. The deaths will take their toll on your soul, little witch, and your magick will grow darker. Is this what you wish?”
Could I really take 13 lives a year, for this? I don’t think I could. That’s too many children, isn’t it? I went home, to face my fate. I planted flowers, I parted with my familiar, and I said my goodbyes. But one day, a single flower grew, and in the center, was a single golden drop. I knew what it was, and what it meant. Yet and still, I drank it… and that, that is how I discovered immortality. Any questions?“
One youngling, sitting closest to the door and playing with her iron pendant, looked into my eyes.
“Well, who are we mourning, if planting a flower and prayer helped you?”
I smiled then, the weary look leaving my eyes as terror overtook their faces.
“Well dear, I never said I didn’t take the deal. Oh, don’t look so frightened, you’re helping a good cause! And after all, you did come to me, asking for my secret. Oh dear, you’re crying now. Is it the teeth? They are quite off putting, it’s taken awhile for me to get used to them. Don’t worry, this will only hurt for a second.”
I dropped the children in Their world, one by one, until there was a perfect row of them. They appeared, dropping a lily pad in the center of my palm. Xe looked at me with barely veiled disgust as I devoured the flower, hoping there would be more of the elixir. There never was. But after all, a deal’s a deal.

(Sorry again but wow I’m inspired)

hello kylie! i'm going to be starting school in about a month, and i'm in uni now but i've been wearing uniform for my whole life :o do you have any cute outfits to recommend? thank you!

- mostly great for layering under sweaters in colder weather, or as a thin overlayer in summer. other ways to wear: with a pinafore, tucked into shorts, with any kind of skirt tbh.

- mostly strap dresses because that’s what i tend to wear. strap dresses are great for wearing over any kind of tee or blouse or rib knit which is great if you’re running late.

- great layered over a blouse or under a strap dress!

jackets / coats

- i love wearing skirts :-) with a collared blouse, a t-shirt, a sweater, etc. etc. u can tuck almost anything into a skirt. (also why wear pants in winter when you can wear skirts with tights???)

sorry for the long post today :-) anyway i post a ton of outfits over here so maybe check out that tag for some ideas too?! plus a lot of the linked listings have outfit pics you can steal inspo from too.

Tale Fell sans and Swap Swapfell Papyrus losing their s/o to a reset please

* y u do dis 2 me :’(

Note: “adding onto my previous ask the tale fell sans and swap swapfell papyrus meeting their s/o after a reset and realizing they remember them”

He becomes apathetic. The moment he opens his eyes and realises he’s back in Snowdin, he completely shuts down from grief and longing. That entire timeline, he doesn’t come out of his room. What does it matter anyway, when no actions, neither happiness nor sadness, progress nor regression are just going to rewind? He nearly wants to kill himself, coping instead by replaying every memory he built with his S/O. Even when nothing has permanence, he will not leave his brother alone.
He meets his S/O right outside the barrier where they have been waiting for him. He teleports straight to them, shaking with relief and love. No one can tell if he’s laughing or crying, probably both. In the aftermath of too tight, teary hugs, Sans is extremely clingy, having at least one point of physical contact with his S/O at all times.

He spirals into a haze of grief, longing, anger and blame. He’s angry at Frisk for resetting, at himself for allowing himself to fall in love, at his S/O for being so lovable and he’s trying to decide where to put the blame for all the emotional turmoil. The first thing he does is have a panic attack, then he hunts Frisk down and kills them a dozen times before they can even explain, then a dozen times more after. He drinks himself into a constant stupor, becoming more aggressive than ever.
He meets his S/O at New Grillbys where they immediately went to look for him after it set up and he’s already smashed. He teleports away when he sees them, thinking they don’t remember him and not wanting to deal with that. Eventually, they find him and once things are made clear, expect rough angsty reunion sex.

He becomes ten times more cynical. He manages to hold himself together better than Tale Sans for his brother but he’s quieter, more withdrawn and prone to disappearing for hours to the point where Swap!Sans knows shit is up. In those hours, Pap sits at the edge of Waterfall, letting the abyss stare back at him as he thinks about all the what ifs, all the could haves, all the if onlys. Sometimes he’ll see something that reminds him of his S/O and he’ll have to force back tears.
He meets his S/O on the street, accidentally bumping into them on the crowded walkway. They stare at each other for a long moment, both worse for wear, before they launch themself into his arms with a disbelieving, “Pap!”. He’s unable to react for a moment, standing stiff in their grip before he holds them so gently like they’re about to shatter. Despite his height, he curls himself over them, not bothering to withhold his tears anymore.

He’s never snapped at anyone until now. Pap adopts the good ol don’t think about it and suppresses everything the best he can, refusing to even think about his S/O. He becomes bitter and irritable, snapping at his brother for the first time when Sans nagged. He was reputed to be one of the more patient monsters so when he snaps at typical asshole monster behaviour, everyone is surprised. He’s even more slack than usual at his duties and refuses to listen to anyone who points it out. He picks up tobacco in place of marijuana.
He doesn’t meet his S/O, his S/O comes looking for him. They show up at his doorstep, having tracked him down, and greet him with a kiss. Pap doesn’t react, only half believing this is actually happening. He’ll push them away, very gently. He needs an explanation before anything happens. After all is said and done, don’t expect him to leave their side for a while… or the house.

Where Our Demons Lurk

“Demons. It is fairly commonplace to hear tales about such creatures… Dreaded by the people, it is said the worst ones inhabit the woods and prey upon those unaware.”

“…I disagree. The worst ones need no place to call home —”

“…for within oneself they already fester.”

Within the gentle breeze, lush green leaves rustle as warm rays of sun shimmer upon the ancient forest as if in a greeting gesture, welcoming the ionian who sought shelter from his own thoughts.

With swaying steps, the man’s head turned around in an attempt to locate a place that brought him some measure of much needed peace. His sword felt heavier… perhaps from the accumulated lives it took since he last rid himself of his burdens.

But Yasuo was sure he would find water soon enough - lush forests like these were always a clear sign some source was nearby. Perhaps a river of sorts - running water was usually best, not only because it was cleaner, but also because of the soothing sound.

His focus was on his hearing, the ronin attempted to capture sounds outside of the bird’s occasional happy chirping echoing among the ancient trees and the ones made by his own feet as the soft and pleasantly cool grass bent underneath.

Another five minutes passed as the ronin noticed the first sign. The smell of wet dirt began to settle from the north as the air began to grow more humid - it was likely he was nearing a source of running water - likely a waterfall considering the shift in humidity.

As his steps began to bring him closer, the man could notice a larger number of birds looking curiously from the trees. It was no surprise, after all. Wildlife tends to sprout wherever there is water, and the increase of birds singing in the background only reflected such reality. Yet, as pleasing as it felt to hear them, the swordsman’s focus did not wane. He didn’t fail to pick up a faint sound in the distance - it was different from the ones he had heard so far. It was a rumbling sound - timid for its source’s distance but it was a noise only he knew too well.

Finally he was where he wanted to be.

With a faster pace than before, the man follows a small trail - a stone path carved within a bamboo grove leading to an impressive place. A building, built edging a waterfall - its coursing river flowing just beside.

“…What is this place?” The man wondered as his eyes observed his rich surroundings. Moss grew from the carved stones - for what it seemed, this place probably served as an old shrine. Was this the vastaya’s doing? Or was it someone else? He honestly couldn’t tell.. the place seemed different from everything he had encountered so far.

Yasuo approached some of its sturdy walls. They seemed weakened by time and the water, but there were no signs they would crumble at a moment’s notice.

Perfect, he thought. All he needed to find was a spot to sit. Such task took him no more than five minutes.

The man chose an old bridge nearing the ravine - it hovered just above the water. The bridge probably led to the other side in the older days, but now it was obviously broken. Any step further would lead anyone to a fatal fall. But no matter, his focus was now on the sound of flowing water beneath him - the wind blew strong in that place, causing leaves to fall and be swept by the water’s unforgiving currents. With any luck, the water would do the same to his troubled thoughts…
