water-monitor-lizard

Water monitor Lizards [Varanus salvator], second in size only to the Komodo dragon [Varanus komodoensis], getting it on in a dirty stream in Salang, Tioman Island.

The Water monitor can grow over 3m in length, just under that of the Komodo dragon. As a scavenger, it eats so badly, that if it bit you, it’s saliva would kill you from infection alone.
