water marbelling

First attempt at a nail art tutorial.

Water Marble.

Tools:
Small bowl of room temperature water.
Dotting tool or sharp pencil.
Polsihes.
Cotton buds.
Tissue.
Polish remover.
Diamanté.

Process.

Apply a white base coat. Using at least two contrasting colours, drop blobs of polish onto the surface of room temperature water, make sure each drop is within the last drop. While the polish is still wet, quickly, use a dotting tool to drag the polish out creating a pattern. Wipe the dotting tool on tissue between each drag. Place the white nail onto the desire section of the design and submerge it into the water. Keep the nail in the water while you pick up the excess polish from the surface of the water with a cotton bud. Pull the finger our, clean edges, top coat and add a diamanté for extra sparkle :-)
