water book

So I was tagged by @mprunnergirl ages ago to do ‘Meet The Artist’!  Finally got around to finishing it up.  I’m not a big fan of drawing myself much, but I like how this came out,  Thanks for tagging me girl!  It was definitely some good practice.

I’ll tag @misrihalek (who got a shout-out at the top of mine), @13thcat@zrllosyn and @literalnobody if you guys are up to it (and if you haven’t done it already…I feel like I might’ve seen one of you do it before…)

Books of 2017 (Jan-Feb)

I thought it would be fun to keep a running list of the novels I’ve been reading! I’m on my 22nd novel of the year right now because I’m a freak. I talk about reading so much, and I know some of you have been asking for recommendations. This is as good of a way as any!

Psalm 23 Mysteries (13 Books) by Debbie Viguie
HIGHLY RECOMMEND: Such a fun series. And she’s writing 23 whole books, so the character development is amazeballs.

  • The Lord is My Shepherd (Book 1)
  • I Shall Not Want (Book 2)
  • Lie Down in Green Pastures (Book 3)
  • Beside Still Waters (Book 4)
  • Restoreth My Soul (Book 5)
  • In the Paths of Righteousness (Book 6)
  • For His Name’s Sake (Book 7)
  • Walk Through the Valley (Book 8)
  • The Shadow of Death (Book 9)
  • I Will Fear No Evil (Book 10)
  • Thou Art With Me (Book 11)
  • Thy Rod and Thy Staff (Book 12)
  • Comfort Me (Book 13) - just came out, and I’m downloading it this week!

Immortal Descendants by April White
HIGHLY RECOMMEND: This is obviously just Book 4, but the whole series is amazing. I loved every second. Really strong female main character, too, which is awesome.

  • Cheating Death (Book 4)

The Hope Chest Series by multiple authors
MEH: I liked the characters (Book 4 is a bit rushed), and the sexy bits were quite sexy, but the time travel element was wasted. Very few answers to lots of questions, and consistency was a problem. This is the series I woke up the husband in the middle of the night to complain about.

  • The Mesmerist (Book 1)
  • The Lawman (Book 2)
  • The Prince (Book 3)
  • The Thief (Book 4)
  • The Pinkerton (Book 5)

Elemental Mysteries by Elizabeth Hunter
HIGHLY RECOMMEND: I love the crap out of this universe. Fresh take on vampires, and that’s a big deal! I’m in Book 4 right now and loving everything. :)

  • A Hidden Fire (Book 1)
  • This Same Earth (Book 2)
  • The Force of Wind (Book 3)
  • A Fall of Water (Book 4)

Monday 8:27am
I woke up with you on my mind.
You called me babe last night —
my heart is still pounding.

Tuesday 10:53pm
Today I realized we won’t work.
What we are is hurting her.
And I think she matters more to me than you do.

Wednesday 11:52pm
I broke things off with you today.
She barely said a word.
I’ve never regretted anything more than this.

Thursday 4:03pm
I shouldn’t have sent that message.
You shouldn’t have been so okay with receiving it.

Friday 9:57pm
I almost messaged you today.
I didn’t.

Saturday 8:49pm
I’m walking around town in search of alcohol.
They say that liquor numbs the pain of having a broken heart.
I want to put that to the test.

Sunday 2:32am
I heard you texted a girl you’ve never spoken to before.
I wonder if it’s because you’re trying to replace me.
I can’t help but wish you weren’t.
I thought I was irreplaceable.

—  a week with you on my mind, c.j.n.

This is only one out of many methods for doing this. Keep in mind that not all Moons are equal, though. A lot of people just make this on the Full Moon, but it’s a good idea to pay attention to where the moon is astrologically during this. Certain spells call for Lunar-charged water from certain periods or phases in the Moon’s cycle.

Types of water and their uses (+ how to cleanse water for spellwork!)

Sea water

- cleansing, purification and banishment

River water

- movement, change and new opportunities

Lake water

- peace, contentment, self-reflection

Rain water

- creativity, inspiration, energy, cleansing, protection

Melted snow water

- transformation, new beginnings

Moon water (water that has been charged under moonlight)

- universal magickal properties, can be used in most spells for cleansing, purification, balance, and energy

Cleansed water (tap/filtered water that has been cleansed)

- again has universal magickal properties but not as strong as moon water. Mostly used for cleansing and purification.

1. Run tap water into an empty bottle and immediately pour it out

2. Fill the bottle again but this time seal the bottle.

3. Draw out a cleansing sigil. I use this one HERE

4. Tape it to the outside of the bottle.

5. Arrange four white tea lights and a long candle into a pentagram with the long candle at the apex.

6. Place the bottle of water at the centre of the pentagram

7. Light the long candle and use it to light the tea lights in a clockwise rotation.

8. Place a clear quartz on the bottle

9. Place your hand over the clear quartz and allow your positive energies to flow through it. Imagine the quartz like a magnifying glass and your energy the sun.

10. Finish your spell with your preferred method. I  blow out all the candles and say “so it is”

Mermaid Dust!

Hi people! Tonight i bring to you this little DIY for getting beautiful Mermaid Dust done!

💙Mermaid Dust correspondences are:

As is strongly related to water, is useful for emotions, relationships, healing, psychic abilities, exorcism and purification. It can be used for love, luck and protection too! Also, it works perfectly fine as an extra boost for any spell.

💙This is how you make it:

✨ You’ll need sugar (love, luck, healing, purification), mint (exorcism, protection, healing), eggshell powder (protection) and glitter on the color of your choice (for making it more “personal” to you. I use turquoise.) and crystals of your choice (optional)

~I recommend aquamarine, sodalite, emerald, citrine, pink quartz, amethyst, green quartz, tourmaline, hematite and/or clear quartz.

✨The amount of each thing i use is approximately the following, but you can use as much as you want and give it your own texture!

~¾ Sugar.

~2/4 Eggshell powder.

~2/4 Mint.

~¼ Glitter.

✨Then, put it all together and stir to mix it!

✨Once that you have something like this, put it on a jar or any type of container that you prefer, and use some crystals to charge it!

✨Here i’m using two pieces of aquamarine, one sodalite, two tourmaline, one pink quartz and one citrine.

✨Now, here comes something important. I leave it for a whole lunar cycle, from full moon ‘till the next one (or you can do it from the very start of the cycle, on new moon, ‘till the next new moon, choose based on your correspondences of which type of moon energy you want the dust to keep), on a closed wooden box with amethyst and clear quartz, so it can be properly charged. Another good idea is that, on a full moon night, you leave it outside surrounded by the gems you want it to be charged with.

✨At the end of the cycle, you can say a little chant of your choice when taking the dust out of the box or taking it inside home again or out of the windowsill… you understand my point lol.

💙Extra: As this is not safe to eat. If you want to make some eatable mermaid dust, i recommend using colored sugar (you can easily make it with white sugar and food colorant). Put it in some container, then put that inside your container with mermaid dust or surround your sugar container with a circle of mermaid dust (be careful not to mix it!) and leave it for a night, preferably on full moon. Next day you’ll have some dealicious mermaid sugar/dust for any healing spell, love spell, or any type you want to do!

You can make as much as you want of this, and is useful for almost everything! i really like it ♥

Well, hope you enjoyed this DIY!!!♥
