was how castiel behaved when sam held out his hand to him

Heaven is Hotter Than Hell

Characters: CastielXReader, Dean Winchester, Sam Winchester

Word Count: 1980

A/N: Jealous!Cas with a hint of Dom!Cas for extra spice. Public sex. Adult/NSFW/smut warning!!! A little fluffy, because I don’t know how to write Castiel without the fluff. I am not ashamed of this.

Effervescent laughter rose above all else - the din of bar conversation, the clinking of glass, the sloshing of alcohol, and the classic rock humming on repeat from the jukebox. It needled at the patient reserve of the angel isolated in a dimly lit corner. Castiel’s steel-blue eyes smoldered - fixed on the raven-haired man in a well-fitted suit situated at the bar - lids burdened with disdain.

Bouncing hair flirtatiously tossed, teasingly dragging your lower lip through biting teeth, fingers playing with the lapel of the man’s coat, you exuded virility.

The delighted pitch of your giggle pierced the seraph more painfully than any angel blade could - fuel to the flame, his fiery gaze flared, the wrath directed towards this stranger barely contained in tightly wound muscles primed to snap. Cas observed you dance this dance before – the choreography a festering lesion seared into his memory. Next, you would excuse yourself on some pretext to reapply needless makeup and straighten already perfectly mussed hair. Upon returning, you would whisper something meant only for the stranger’s ears, yet also perceived by angelic ones - an invitation to call it a night and join you in your motel room. The rare evening such as this one, witnessing you escape the rigors of the hunter life into a stranger’s arms, was nearly overwhelming. The angel seethed with envy, longing for those words to be uttered from your honeyed lips - spoken only for him. But you didn’t look at him that way, and never laughed so freely when he spoke.

Angels in the Bunker

Characters: Gabriel, Castiel, Balthazar, Lucifer x Reader (you’ll see *wink wonk*)

Word Count: 1,580

Warnings: Fluff!

A/N: This was requested by @averagegaykid! I loved writing this one, so I hope you all enjoy it! I hope you’ve all enjoyed Satan Sunday this week!! I love you all so much!!

You assembled the four angels, all of them standing together in front of you.  They all towered over you, which was one of the reasons you recruited their help.  While the Winchesters were gone, you were going to decorate the bunker for Christmas.  It was not an easy task to do by yourself.

You had them each bring along different decorations.  Balthazar was to get the Christmas tree, and the ornaments for it.  Gabriel was supposed to get lights for the tree, along with stockings.  Castiel was sent to get candy for the stockings, along with candy canes for the tree.  You asked Lucifer to bring one thing, garland.  You knew Lucifer was not a fan of Christmas, but he could never say no to you.

“Alright my angels,” you smiled.  “We only have the rest of today and a little bit of tomorrow to decorate the bunker.  Dean and Sam don’t take long on hunts.  They’ll be even quicker when they realize this is just a ruse.”

Sam’s POV

The chapel was filled with the sound of many voices talking at once, each struggling to be heard over the other. Lucifer. Dean. Michael. Stephanie. Their voices were getting louder and louder as they talked over each other until I couldn’t hear myself think, but still, I said nothing.

Eric had taken my Omega. He had taken Y/N, and his sister had helped. My beautiful, headstrong Omega had beaten the crap out of Eric and rejected him and made him look weak.  This is not something an Alpha would take lightly. He was going to make her pay, so I had to find her before….  I shook my head to clear it, and I tried not to think the worst.

“Everyone shut up!“ I finally said. They all ignored me.

“EVERYONE SHUT THE FUCK UP!” I roared, unable to hold in my rage for a second longer. The entire group stopped arguing and turned collectively to look at me.

I stared pointedly at Lucifer.    “What’s the plan? How do we get her back?”

Y/N’s father sneered at me.  “What “we”? There is no “we”.  I will go talk to his father, Alpha to Alpha.  She is MY daughter.  You’re not coming, Winchester.”

My vision was clouding over with a red haze of anger, and before I could stop myself, I grabbed Lucifer by the neck and jacked him up against the wall. “She is MY Omega, and I AM coming because I am going to rip Eric’s throat out, and you’re not going to stop me.”

Sweet Home Sioux Falls Pt 4: Drunks Say the Darndest Things

Pairing: Dean x Reader, Reader x OC

Words: 7200ish (so much drama in one part)

Warnings: Manipulative Relationship, Swearing, Drinking, Fighting (More under the cut by the tags- don’t want to spoil!)

Summary: (Very loosely based off of Sweet Home Alabama) Years after you left your old life to start a new and “better” one in New York City, your now-fiance decides that it’s time to meet your father, Bobby Singer, which unfortunately avalanches into him meeting all your friends, family, and your not-so-ex-husband Dean Winchester.

A/N: Remember, guys, the timeline is all out of wack. Basically everyone’s alive and Dean never went to Purgatory. Also, the reader’s current relationship is based off of a manipulative relationship I was in. The attitude and thoughts the reader has after she fights with Patrick? Yeah, that’s not healthy. So if you can relate to her relationship, please please please step back and analyze yours. It may not be as happy and healthy as you think. Always here to talk, listen, and share my experience if anyone needs to hear it <3 Feedback is, as always, much appreciated!

You slammed the door to Patrick’s Prius shut and stared at the bar in front of you. The familiar rotting wood and crooked “Roadhouse” sign stared down at you almost menacingly. Nothing like standing face-to-face with a past you vowed to leave behind.

This was where you had your first beer, hung up your first hunting souvenir, and even where you held your wedding reception. How romantic.

You could almost clearly remember Dean kicking down the front door, both of you hammered and your dress slightly ripped from your groom being unable to keep his hands off you. You remember stumbling into Sam and him telling you he’s so glad he got the chance to call you his sister before everything went down. The night was full of cheerful somber, as everyone drank to ignore the fact that Sam was planning to fall headfirst into Hell’s pit in just a couple of days.

Sam had forced you and Dean to get hitched before his fated sacrifice arrived, begging to let him witness it and just have one last day with his family before it all ended for him.

After the day he fell into the pit, you and Dean drank yourself to the floor for months until finally setting up the apple pie life Sam had made you two promise to pursue. The civilian lifestyle only lasted half a year or so, ending right when a soulless Sam came strolling up to your doorstep.

Then you fought for his soul, Castiel betrayed the three of you, Leviathans poured into Earth, Sam went crazy, Castiel returned, the mother of monsters came to earth, you became…

Before you could think back to what changed you and Dean forever, a ring from your cellphone startled you from your thoughts.

You quickly pulled it from your pocket and smiled at your fiancé’s name lighting up your phone. You turned away from the inevitable confrontation in the bar and  pressed the answer button.

Opposites Attract

Request: One were you have been married to Gabriel for centuries and the other angels let it slip in front of the Winchesters and they want to meet you and they are surprised because you are so soft spoken and kinda not like they thought

A/N: This was an anonymous request, but I hope they like it! From the way this was worded, it seemed like it would be hard to tell the whole story in the second-person, so while it’s still a reader-insert, I’ve tried third-person to write this one. Hope it didn’t turn out badly!

Author: Holly

Characters/Pairings: Gabriel/Reader, Sam, Dean, Samandriel

Word Count: 2,817

Y/N = Your Name; E/C = Eye Color; H/C = Hair Color

The Winchesters had a poor habit of getting themselves in up to their throats, no matter what was going on in the supernatural world. If there wasn’t a furious horde of demons chasing after their blood, and there weren’t Leviathans framing them as serial killers, and there weren’t crazy relatives of God somehow threatening their lives, then they were just putting themselves in danger in other ways.

Undisclosed Desires (part 12- finale)

Words: 1.8k

Summary: You and Castiel return to the bunker and try to patch things up with the Winchesters.

Warnings: Nothing, unless you need a fluff warning

A/N: This is a tentative finale. I like the relationship between the reader and Cas, so I may add little drabbles here and there. Constructive feedback is always appreciated. If you’d like to be added to my master tag list, just shoot me an ask or DM.

You had spent the last week and a half spending time with Castiel in that motel room with Castiel and it had been one of the best times of your life. You had almost decided that it wasn’t worth getting dressed since Castiel wouldn’t let you keep your clothes on very long anyways; not that you minded.

“Well, Cas.” you said with a beaming smile. “I think we’re done here.”

He stood up straight and tall and rolled his shoulders, letting his raven colored wings flutter behind him. For the first time in years, he felt like a real angel again. He turned to you and smiled; you noticed he had been doing that more and more recently.

The Contest-Part 12

To celebrate Supernatural’s 15th season, the producers have decided to hold a contest to cast an unknown in a recurring role as Sam’s rumored love interest. They are doing open casting calls all over the country. Your best friend Nikki wants to go and she drags you along.

A/N:  My inspiration for Nikki is the one and only Red, @oriona75 . So I’m actually telling two stories here, Jared and Y/N’s, and Sam and Gemini’s.  It flips back and forth, so try and keep up! :)

Characters: Reader, Best friend Nikki (OC), Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, Mark Sheppard, Cliff, Emily (OC) other Supernatural cast and crew

Part 1 (all parts are linked)

Jared had told Andrew who he thought the returning guest star might be.  It turns out he was right.  Andrew asked him not to share his guess with anyone else because he probably shouldn’t have said anything until they had secured the actor for sure.  Jared agreed.

It was driving Jensen nuts that Jared knew and he didn’t.  He tried everything.  He begged.  He tried bribing him.  Jared wouldn’t cave.  He threatened to beat the shit out of him.  Jared just laughed.  Then he got creative.  First he said he would get Nikki drunk and make her throw up on him again.  Then Jensen told him that he would tell me all kinds of incriminating stuff about him from before we started dating.

“I’m not telling you, Jay. I promised Andrew I wouldn’t.  Sorry, Man.”  Jared told him, not looking a bit sorry.

“Stop being a baby, Jensen.  We’re in the dark as much as you are.” Nikki complained, glaring at Jared.

“You can still tell me the incriminating stuff though.” I chimed in.

Jensen gave us a classic Dean scowl.  “I hate you all.” Then he stomped off towards his trailer.

“I don’t know either, Jay!  And you don’t see me throwing a tantrum!”  I called to his retreating back.  He gave me the finger as he walked away.

“Love you too, Jensen!” I yelled as Nikki and I dissolved into a fit of giggles

”Hmm? What’s happening? I’m awake,” You shot up sleepily to see Cas smiling at you, positioned so that he had you half scooped up in his arms, one of his hands behind your knees and the other arm partially curled under your back.

”No, you’re not. You’re exhausted,” he said, withdrawing his hands and instead sinking down on the couch next to you, wrapping an arm around your shoulders, which you immediately moved into.

You rubbed at your tired eyes. “No, no. I’m fine. I need to keep going on this. I told Sam and Dean–” you said, starting to reach for the papers spread out on the coffee table in front of you.

Cas caught your hand gently in his, giving you another tender look and stroking his thumb across the back of it. “No, Y/N. You need to rest. Sam and Dean will understand. I know how tiring it is for you to chase after Joshua all day and help with cases and research when you’re not busy with that.”

“Sam are you sure that this is a good idea? Just to walk in with a couple of guns? Bobby said that this witch is pretty powerful.” I said as I looked at the tall giant that I loved so much. I loved him like a sister would a brother. I loved Dean and Cas just the same. However, my heart does belong to the elder Winchester even if he didn’t know it.

“Look, we have been watching her for a couple of days and she doesn’t seem like she can do that much damage.” Dean said from behind me. I looked at Cas with a worried look and he just shrugged at me. I didn’t have a good feeling about this but when Sam or Dean had a set plan, it was really hard to steer them off track. I sighed as I grabbed my gun from the trunk and walked with the boys into the fairly nice house that you thought the witch was staying in. I looked at Dean to figure out what he wanted to do. With one look at Sam, he nodded and took Cas into the other room with him, leaving Sam and I to fend for ourselves. I followed Sam down to the basement because most things happened down there.

“I still think that this is a bad idea. We don’t know if this witch is going to be the next Rowena or not.” I muttered. I saw Sam stiffen at the mention of the King of Hell’s mother but he said nothing about it. We looked for another 10 minutes before my phone vibrated. I saw Dean was calling and I picked it up with a confused look on my face. Dean wouldn’t call like this unless something bad has happened.

“Y/N, we found something upstairs.” That is what he said and he hung up after that. I looked at Sam and sighed.

“Sam, Dean found something upstairs.” He nodded and followed me to where Dean and Castiel were. I saw Dean standing with Castiel by the closet with a look on their faces. I made my way over and gasped at what I saw. In the closet was all kinds of animal skulls and bones, jars of God only knows what kind of liquid and you know one of them contained blood.

“Well we know where her lair is but where is the witch?” I muttered quietly. “I think I’m going to check out downstairs. You guys stay here just in case she comes back,” Before anyone could protest, I left them upstairs and made my way downstairs. I walked into the kitchen to see if anything was out of place when I heard screams come from the boys upstairs. Quickly, I made my way up the stairs and ran into the room I knew they were in. I saw a figure leave from the window and I ruined to it, looking out, seeing a woman run from the house and into the woods. I’m guessing that she was the witch. Wait, where were Sam, Dean, and Cas?

The Car

It was shiny.  It was black and sleek and powerful.  It was also old and kind of ugly, but it was the most beautiful car he’d ever seen.  It was a 1967 hardtop four-door Chevrolet Impala that his father had bought him for his sixteenth birthday.  His mother had pitched a fit because it didn’t have two-point seatbelts or air bags, but his father had argued that an old American car was a tank and would rip through the newest Japanese 1991 models.  Besides, he’d only be able to drive it to school and maybe to run an errand or two for his parents.  His mother still wasn’t happy, but she didn’t take the keys away from him.

After a few weeks, he realized why his mother hadn’t taken the keys away: she basically wouldn’t let him drive it anywhere.  It got to the point that he would drive Sam and his friends around the neighborhood just so that he could drive it at all.

It was kind of fun having Sam and three friends in the back and taking that hairpin curve at the back of the neighborhood where the houses were still wooden frames, watching them crush against each other like a carnival ride.  Except when Castiel was in the car.  He drove a little safer then.  He even let him ride up front sometimes, which was something he rarely allowed Sam to do.

One afternoon after Dean dropped Sam and his friends off in front of the house so they could go do whatever it was seventh graders did, Castiel hesitated before shutting the passenger side door.  Dean raised an eyebrow at him.

“Do you not want to go with them?  Are they giving you shit for being a year younger?”

Castiel shook his head.  “No.  I just wanted to ask you if you’d be willing to drive me somewhere sometime.”

“Uh…yeah.  Sure.  Just give it a little while.  My mom is still freaked out about me driving this car.  She barely let’s me out of the cul-de-sac.”

Castiel smiled.  “She just loves you.”

“Yeah, well.  I’ve gotta put Baby up, so you better catch up with Sam.”

“Okay.  Thank you for the ride, Dean.”

Dean laughed to himself.  “Yeah, anytime.”

Love Lasts

From this request: Could you do one where you’re Gabriel’s wife/mate and the Winchesters don’t know about you and one day of the other angels let’s it slip and they want to meet her and he agrees but only if they behave and when the meet she’s nice and sweet but Had like a different air around her and it turns out she used to be a princess a few thousand years ago but she was given immortality to live with Gabriel as long as Gabriel is alive and she’s also Kickass at Martial arts and archery?

“Who thought it was a good idea to give children bows and arrows?” Dean grumbled as he and Sam marched across the yard of the camp, watching a heard of youngsters shoot at targets.

“Well, Dad gave us guns when we were about their age,” Sam pointed out.

“I think it’s that damn Hunger Games stuff.”

Cas studied the archers. “They are very good.”

Dean scoffed slightly. “Know a lot about archery, do you?”

“Well, I’ve often watched Y/N.”

The brothers shared a look. “Who?” Sam asked.

“Gabriel’s mate. Y/N.”

Dean stopped. “Gabriel’s mate?”

Cas nodded. “She would be considered a ‘wife’ by human standards.”

Sam and Dean shared another look. They had never heard of an angel being married, and Gabriel… well, they never expected the trickster to settle down. Who could put up with him and all his pranks?

The trio headed for the main cabin and found the counselor and got the tour of the camp. They began to explore, looking for any sign of the supernatural events they’d heard whisperings of.

Later that evening, Sam and Dean were shut away in the motel room—Sam studying his laptop, Dean studying the bottle of beer in his hand and the shitty cable television that got a total of five channels.

“D’you think Cas was telling the truth?” Dean asked. “About Gabriel being married?”

“Why would he lie about that?” Sam asked.

Dean shrugged. “But I mean… Gabriel? Married?”

“Weirder things have happened.”

Dean looked over at his brother. “Think he’d let us meet her?”

“Why do you want to meet her?”

Dean shrugged. “To see what sort of woman can put up with him? To see if we’ve got another trickster to deal with? To invade Gabriel’s privacy like he’s invaded ours?”

Sam laughed. “Nice.”

At that moment, who should appear in the room but the trickster. “Boys, my ears are ringing.”

“Heard you got a wife,” Dean said.

“What business of yours is it?”

“We want to meet her.”

“And I want a pony made of chocolate, but do you see one here?”

“Come on, Gabriel. After all the shit you’ve pulled on us, you owe us.”

Gabriel let out a short laugh. “I don’t owe you anything.” He studied Dean for a moment. “But… Y/N has been complaining about loneliness recently…” He paused once more. “Fine. You want to meet her? Then I invite you to our home. BUT! You have to promise to behave. If Y/N gets the slightest bit offended or hurt… I will come after you.” Gabriel looked over at Sam. “Remember ‘mystery spot’? Think that times ten.”

The brothers shared a look. “Okay,” Dean said. “When can we meet her?”

Gabriel raised an eyebrow. “How about now?”

With a snap of his fingers, the three were transported to a high-ceilinged white room. Sunlight was streaming through large windows. The air smelled slightly of lemons.

“Sugar,” Gabriel called. “I’ve brought some guests for you.”

A few moments later you stepped into the room. You were dressed in a flowy skirt and light-colored shirt. Your hair was pulled back, a flower tucked behind one ear. You emitted lightness and airiness and happiness. You seemingly floated over to Gabriel, who wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you close. He pressed a kiss to your temple, causing you to beam with happiness.

“Sweetheart, I’d like you to meet Sam and Dean Winchester.”

“So you’re the infamous Winchesters,” you said with a smile. You held your hand out to the brothers. “It’s nice to finally meet you.”

“Nice to meet you,” Sam said.

“You know, we didn’t even know you existed,” Dean said.

You shrugged. “What can I say? Gabriel likes to keep me all to himself.”

“Never did like sharing my candy,” Gabriel said with a smile, a light smack landing on your rear.

“Gabriel!” you chastised.

As much as Dean hated to admit it, the two of you were actually a cute pair. Anyone could tell that the two of you were in love. He wondered how long you’d been with Gabriel.

“So, princess,” Gabriel said, tucking a stray strand of hair behind your ear. “What have you been up to today?”

“I was actually just finishing up dinner.” You turned to the Winchesters. “Do you boys want to stay?”

“Hell yes,” Dean said. Sam elbowed his brother’s ribs. “I mean, yes, please.”

You smiled. “Gabe, let’s eat out on the patio. Set the table?”

“You got it.” Gabriel snapped his fingers. “Done!”

You laughed slightly, rolling your eyes. “Of course. I forgot who I was talking to.”

Gabriel stuck his tongue out at you, earning him a light smack in the chest.

“Well, since you’ve finished your task, go ahead and take the food out.”

Another snap. “Come on, sweetheart. Give me something harder to do.”

You turned to the Winchesters. “Please forgive him. Follow me.”

You led the brothers out onto the patio where a wonderful spread was on the table. Dean’s mouth began to water at the mere sight. And the smell? He thought he’d died and gone to Heaven.

The four of you sat around the table and began to pass the dishes around. The dinnertime conversation was actually pleasant. And the food was phenomenal. And every time someone helped themselves to something, the dish never seemed to get any emptier.

You were an astounding person. You were kind, funny, charming. And the way Gabriel looked at you…

“Y/N,” Dean said. “Can I ask you something?”

“Of course.”

“Are you an angel?”

You gave him a tiny smile. “No, I’m not an angel. I’m actually human.”

This answer surprised both Winchesters.

“What do your parents think of your relationship with Gabriel?” Sam asked.

“They approved.”

The use of the past-tense did not slip by the brothers.

“Well, Gabriel and I started our courtship a long time ago.”

“How long?”

You looked over at Gabriel. “What’s it been now? Three thousand years?”

“Nearing four,” Gabriel said with a smile.

Dean choked slightly on his drink. “What?”

“You don’t look more than twenty-five!” Sam said.

“That… would be the spell,” you said.

“Spell?” Sam asked.

“Y/N was a beautiful young princess when I first met her,” Gabriel said. “I knew that she was destined to be mine. So, I talked with her parents who talked with a local witch. Her magic mixed with mine granted Y/N immortality, so she can be forever mine.”

A small silence sank over the table as the Winchesters digested this news.

“Well,” Sam said. “Props to you. I barely know any couples who can stay together for ten years, let alone four thousand!”

“What can I say,” Gabriel said, his arm draping around your shoulders again. “She’s a keeper.”

Stargazing was one of your favorite things. The twinkle they held as they lit the night sky never failed to catch your attention and put a smile on your face. Only when you fogged up the back window by pressing your small face and hands to the glass would your father, Dean, stop in an open field and sit on the hood together as a family. With you in his lap, it was times like these where Dean thought of her.

Your mother and father had you when they were young hunters, having met up when their families would team up against something larger than themselves. She had died long before your memory would ever remember her, but your dad made sure to tell stories of her and show you pictures whenever he had the opportunity. But being the six-year-old you were, you constantly asked why you didn’t have a mommy and all the other kids you’d see on the playground of any small town you visited did. Dean would explain without getting close to the truth––the hunting lifestyle––to the best of his ability, yet every time he did the vivid image of your late mother would plague his dreams that same night.

“I know you’ll be a rock when times are hard, Dean. You need to be strong for her.”

Those last words she choked on her own blood to get out weighed on him each day.

Castiel looked after you while you left for the Impala, fists clenched and cursing under your breath.
When you were out of his sight he looked back at the Werewolf that was lying dead on the ground, killed by Dean´s silver bullet after yours had missed it by a few inches.
The angel tried to understand why you were so angry and raised his eyebrows at the Winchesters:
“Why is (Y/N) so upset?”
Sam sighed: “Because she missed. Again.”
Dean nodded: “Yeah, it´s the third hunt we went on that she missed the target and one of us had to finish the job.”
Their answers made him frown: “But everyone misses once in a while.”
Dean shook his head: “Not (Y/N), at least not usually. Ever since we knew her she was the best hunter slash shooter you would find.
You know what people at the road house used to say about her? She never misses, she never quits, and never loses. If you´re alive, it´s because she wants you alive.
I mean they were just joking, but somehow it was true. (Y/N) killed everything she wanted to kill. Always.
And now somethings off with her and we have no Idea what it is.”
Sam nodded in agreement: “I tried talking to her at least three times, but she would just send me away.”
Cas looked at the path were you had vanished only a few minutes ago and somehow he knew what was bothering you.

You said nothing the whole ride back to the bunker and when you were finally there, you made your way straight to your room.
Things were getting pretty out of control lately and you were totally freaking out.
After entering your room you closed the door and sat down against it, burrowing your face in your arms, you´re dirty-blonde hair falling loosely around you.
It had all started six weeks ago when Dean and Sam had been out in a bar and you had been home alone with Cas.
You and the angel had always gotten along well and so you hadn´t minded at all when he told you that he was going to stay the night, something that happened a lot since he turned human.
You had convinced him to drink with him and sooner or later you were both deep into a silly round of I never where you always had to drink because obviously you had done a lot of stuff that Cas hadn´t.
It had been all very funny then. It had still been funny when you two had started making out and it had been even more fun when you had slept together, your first time with an almost-angel, and for god´s sake, he had been good at what he had been doing.
It hadn´t been that much fun anymore when you had woken up the next morning, totally hungover and with the realization that you had slept with Cas without any protection.
And it had been even less fun when you period didn´t come.
By now you were almost a hundredth percent sure that you were pregnant with Cas´s baby.
You had bought a test too, but you were too scared to take it because you knew that the result would make every tiny bit of denial left in you worthless.
You were so shaken up by the whole issue that you had started missing. And you never missed, you just didn´t.
Now familiar tears were running down your face, black with your eyeliner and heavy with your confusion and desparation.
What were you supposed to do?
Not only were you most likely becoming a mother, but also the father was a freaking Angel, human for now, but still.
Leave it to you to get yourself knocked up by an angel.
You figured that you could almost be glad that Cas didn´t have his grace while you did it or you would have created a friggin Nephilim.
Breaking heaven´s law would have been the last thing you wanted to deal with right now.
You got up from the ground, deciding that you needed a shower to wash everything off you. It had worked before, so why not now?
Just when you were about to shrug out of your clothes, it knocked on your door.

It was probably Sam, trying to talk to you again, but you couldn´t tell him. You couldn´t tell anyone.
Yet you called: “Come in”, because you were behaving too weirdly lately anyways.
The door opened and Cas walked in, looking rather worried and sad.
Shock spread through your blood: “Cas, what are you doing here?”
The morning after, you had informed him that you only had done it because of the alcohol and that he was not supposed to tell anyone.
And then you had successfully avoided to be alone with him. Until now.

He closed the door: “I… I just wanted to talk to you.”
Nervously you tried to keep yourself busy by arranging the sheets on your bed: “What about?”
“About the fact that you seem to be troubled.”
So he had noticed too. You knew you had been obvious, but when even he noticed it must have been pretty bad.
You turned around, hands on your hips, trying to look tough again: “Well, I´m fine.”
The angel shook his head: “No, you´re not. And I think I know why.”
Your heart started racing: “Cas it´s…”
But he held up one hand to interrupt you and said: “Is this because of what happened five weeks ago? I read a lot of internet articles about what happened.
I assure you that I won´t tell Sam and Dean and that I understand that this was just a one-night-stand. At least I read that that is what you call one time intercourse.”
He was being kinda awkward, which made him kinda cute and made you feel even worse:
“Well, too bad not everything about it was just for one night.”
Cas made a step towards you: “What do you mean? I´m pretty certain I didn´t give you any kind of illnesses.”
Now you almost laughed: “I´m not worried about you giving me STDs Cas.”
And then, there was the chance, your chance to tell him, maybe the only one you ever got to tell him.
“Actually I think you gave me something else”, you murmured and watched his reaction with fear.

At first he seemed a little confused but then realization dawned on his face and his eyes grew big:
“You… I… You´re pregnant?”
Tears started to form in your eyes again and you bit your lower lip before nodding: “I think so. I mean I haven´t taken a test, but I´m pretty sure.”
The next thing he did surprised you: he came over and hugged you, hugged you tight and whispered in your ear: “It´s gonna be okay.”
That´s when you totally lost it. You sobbed and sobbed into his arms, until there were no tears left and then you looked up:
“Would you wait while I take the test?”
I hadn´t been a decision you had made on purpose. You just knew it was the right time.
He nodded: “Of course.”

When you came back from the bathroom, he was sitting on your bed and you waved the stick in attempt to lighten the mood.
“We have to wait five minutes now”, you informed him and he nodded.
It must have been the five longest minutes in your entire life.
Cas was holding you and somehow you knew that whatever was going to happen next, he wouldn´t leave you.

When the time was up you looked at him: “Two stripes means pregnant, one means not-pregnant”, you explained, not wanting there to be any misunderstandings.
He nodded and then you flipped the test, staring at the two stripes you knew would be there.

Still it was the biggest shock you ever got in your life and you pressed a hand over your mouth when Cas took the test and placed it on the side of the bed before turning you by your shoulders to face him:
“I know this isn´t ideal. I know it´s probably the last thing you want. But I also know that you´ll be an amazing mum and that I´ll be there for you. Always.”
He didn´t have to say these things. He could have just left you alone, dealing with your problems on your own, but he didn´t.
And that´s what made you realize: “And you´re going to be a great dad.”
He smiled and then he hugged you again and you thought about the fact that there really was a human growing inside of you.
“This is scary”, you whispered and you could feel him nod in agreement: “Yes, it is. But the good kind of scary.”
You pulled away and smiled at him under your dried tears: “Yeah, I´m not so sure about that, I´m going to look like an elephant.”
He smiled back: “A beautiful elephant.”
And right then, the moment before he kissed you, you knew that he was right. It was going to be okay.
