Me: The year is 2017…its sunny…my skin is clear and I’m in my own apartment that looks out into the city…in my room…an abundance of official Jasper merchandise I didn’t have to make myself…and playing on my television …Steven universe. Jasper has returned from the war is redeemed and no longer suffering…..life is good…I am…content…
What people fail to understand sometimes is that the success of these stories that will stay with us long-term is to bring new ideas, is to expand the universe. So we can have new stories, new people, just a different perspective is awesome. [Rian] had a chance to really go crazy, and I’m a big Star Wars buff so certain things I saw I was just like ‘Well, that’s a first.’ And that, for me, is really cool to experience.
Time jumping obi wan interacting with clones while qui gon is with general Kenobi?
“So you were
just…found on Kamino?” The sixteen year old version of his
General is giving him the largest puppy eyes in the world, hands
resting on his knees as he leans forward in interest and excitement,
his face so much more open then the General.
“Yes sir, you
found us actually sir.” Cody offered in return, taking his helmet
off and setting it aside.
“Oh please, no,
call me Obi-Wan. Sir is…I mean…” The redhead looked around in
discomfort. “This isn’t exactly what Jedi’s are meant for I mean.
We’re peacekeepers of the galaxy, negotiators and only fight as a
last action.” The young man fiddled with his braid carefully,
several beads and colored ties decorating it.
He was flushing,
emotional in a way neither their generals were or even commander
But this was
Obi-Wan Kenobi still.
“I have to
confess si-Obi-Wan.” Cody amended at the others look. “That we
don’t really know what Jedi did before the war. We know the logistic
of course, peacekeepers of the galaxy but…well we were made for the
war, for the Jedi. We came out battling at their side. Your side.”
“…So we’re out
here on different planets, dying in the name of peace while drawing
our weapons first.” Obi-Wan frowned and then started to chew on the
braid, his frown growing ever deeper. The more it did, the more he
looked like General Kenobi.
It startled Cody,
because suddenly he realized how weary Obi-Wan Kenobi looked as a
adult. How grief stricken and broken he was, hiding it beneath
sarcastic, almost bitter words and Jedi veneer.
Had the war done
it, done this to the man or was it something else?
Cody eyed the
sixteen year old slowly, noting how his adult self and his younger
self were both the same size and suddenly he wondered if he could get
the General to eat extra rations, that couldn’t be healthy.
The teenager in
front of him was obviously still growing, perhaps not height wise but
broad wise, General Kenobi was broader across the chest then this
teen. But his hips were just as narrow. He wondered if the general
ever went to Helios for medical reviews.
Hmm, perhaps he
could get the man to go…or perhaps Jinn could.
“A Star Wars buff from early childhood, Steven Curnow could recite from memory every line in each of the films and was counting the days until the May 19 release of the latest in the series. “He collected the books, watched all the movies and had all the video games,” says an uncle, Richard Brandenburger. The freshman, whose sister Nancy is 20, dreamed of flying Navy F-16s and loved soccer. “When he kicked the ball, it was like a rocket coming at you,” the family said in a prepared statement. “It’s hard to imagine life without him.“
