Thing about a changeling Trollhunter? Just as reckless and rebellious as a human. Like, “watch our protector go. Keeping us safe, fighting the–HOLY SHALE DON’T FIGHT THAT ONE!” And “you have to follow these rules.” “Why?” “You gotta.” “But why?” “You’re half-troll, why is this so hard to understand?”
Dictatious and Vendel’s lives are considerably shortened by the selection of our Future Knight Dad for trollhunter.
A Brief Recapitulation of Troll-Changeling Friendships
This takes place during and after this fic thing, which was inspired by @changepherrox‘s art and the written scenario of Walter meeting Barbara, pre-show, and becoming part of the Lake family. After finding his place in the human world, he comes upon the Trollhunter amulet and struggles between protecting his family, being a double agent… and secretly defending a Trollmarket that doesn’t particularly want a changeling for a Trollhunter.
You probably want to read the first fic thing before checking this out. Again, I haven’t seen Trollhunters in a month or so, so inaccuracies probably occur. Thank you so much for the ideas and conversation, @changepherrox! I’ve been really inspired. I hope this lives up to what you were imagining. Here we go!
I always wondered about this girl? (I like her German name Nadyenka much more tho) She also appeared in the city fair with Rolv’s gang, I mean how did he and Rolv meet and become a thing? What is her personality like, was she a fighter too or something else? Did she survive Hel?
The way the team treated Walter at the end of 3.22 is exactly how they treated Toby at the end of 2.24. What makes this worse? I don't remember much if any outrage over Toby being left alone as there has been over Walter being left alone. Especially since Walter was instrumental in pushing Paige into Tim's arms.
This is a Waige blog and so we’re going to talk about Walter and Paige more than anyone else, but there definitely was a lot of disgust over how Toby was treated at the end of that episode. Numerous people were outraged at Paige’s refusal to stay and help Toby unless Walter asked her to, when that type of situation is exactly why Scorpion hired her. And a lot of people also called out Cabe’s dangerous suggestion that someone with a predisposition to addiction turn to alcohol to cope. Throughout the entire hiatus people were criticizing how awful that last scene was and a lot of it was fixated on people not trying to help Toby.
Just because you do not remember something doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.
