Awesome underated comedy/slice of life to whatch

I have to say it I wasn’t that much fan of comedy as a genre since I love tragedy and sad anime mores but once in a while we all need a good anime to make us laugh loudly:D. I became a fan of the genre after watching gintama I guess but I wanted to share some others anime that made me literally cry for the too much laugh.

Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge

I literally fell in love with the anime. The comedy is great, the characters are awesome and special in their own way. And oh tanaka, his seiyuu (ono kensho) was awesome as always, no need to say he is one of my most favorites ever lol.

For high school student Tanaka, the act of being listless is a way of life. Known for his inattentiveness and ability to fall asleep anywhere, Tanaka prays that each day will be as uneventful as the last, seeking to preserve his lazy lifestyle however he can by avoiding situations that require him to exert himself. Along with his dependable friend Oota who helps him with tasks he is unable to accomplish, the lethargic teenager constantly deals with events that prevent him from experiencing the quiet and peaceful days he longs for.

Whatch it if you’re searching for:

  •  Great comedy
  • Fluffy dramma with some hints of romace
  • Lovely soundtrack
  • The art is so cute and on point
  • The gags are hilarious and quite original
  • Watch it for the amazing brotp

You only need tanaka as a reason tho , he is the real Mvp, I’m quite fond of him

Hoozuki no Reitetsu

Meet hoozuki one of the most badass characters I’ve seen in anime. This was such  a fresh breath of air. I mean, how often do you see the king of hell being treated like a little punk Lmao. And they announced it will have a second season yay

Hell is a bureaucracy, and business is running smoother than ever thanks to the demonic efficiency of Hoozuki, chief deputy to Lord Enma, the King of Hell. Whether offering counsel to the Momotarou of Japanese folklore or receiving diplomatic missions from the Judeo-Christian Hell, the demon who runs the show from behind the king’s imposing shadow is ready to beat down any challenges coming his way into a bloody pulp. Metaphorically, of course… The poster boy for micromanagement and armed with negotiation skills worthy of Wall Street, Hoozuki no Reitetsu follows the sadistic and level-headed Hoozuki as he spends his days troubleshooting hell. With an abundance of familiar faces from popular Japanese legends and East Asian mythology working middle management positions, this referential and anachronistic dark comedy brings new meaning to the phrase “employer liability.” Just how hard could it be to manage employees from hell, anyway? For the fans of tonari no kaibutsu kun, they also made an apparence in hoozuki

Watch it if you’re searching for:

  • Badass yet not overpowered as fuck characters
  • For the great comedy
  • Watch it if you’re interested in the japanese folklore
  • The lovely and refreshing artstyle
  • Watch it for those two Lmao, You will laugh until your stomach hurts, I garantee that

Gugure! Kokkuri-san

Thi anime is such a gem and yet noone seem to know it bruh. The characters were all crazy and yet tender. The comedy is great and I love how they want to break most of the tropes in comedy anime Lmao

Kohina Ichimatsu, the self-proclaimed doll, called out the fox ghost Kokkuri-san with a suspicious incantation! But it was a story of the past where Kokkuri-san was able to answer any question you had. Nowadays, it relies on a certain search engine, but is actually bad at anything digital. He was going to possess Kohina, but got worried about her living all alone and devotes himself to do chores as if he was her mother. On top of that, the dog ghost Inugami who is infatuated with Kohina and the old good-for-nothing supernatural raccoon dog Shigaraki decide to root themselves with her as well!

(Source: Crunchyroll)

Watch it if you’re searching for:

  • Hilarious comedy
  • The lovely character devolpment of the main protagonist
  • The fluffy yet adorable bonds that  the anime manages to create
  • Attractive spirit struggling with a mid-life crisis due to him fearing for his relevance in the the modern world Lol

Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan (TV)

The only anime that managed to make me laugh this much was gintama. This is literally a masterpiece Lmao since it never fails to make you laugh

To the average person, psychic abilities might seem a blessing; for Kusuo Saiki, however, this couldn’t be further from the truth. Gifted with a wide assortment of supernatural abilities ranging from telepathy to x-ray vision, he finds this so-called blessing to be nothing but a curse. As all the inconveniences his powers cause constantly pile up, all Kusuo aims for is an ordinary, hassle-free life—a life where ignorance is bliss.

Unfortunately, the life of a psychic is far from quiet. Though Kusuo tries to stay out of the spotlight by keeping his powers a secret from his classmates, he ends up inadvertently attracting the attention of many odd characters, such as the empty-headed Riki Nendou and the delusional Shun Kaidou. Forced to deal with the craziness of the people around him, Kusuo comes to learn that the ordinary life he has been striving for is a lot more difficult to achieve than expected.

Watch it if you’re searching for:

  • 4th wall, what was it again?
  • Similiar comedy to gintama, you will love them both
  • Aparody of the genre itself
  • An amazing protagonist  whose sasiness is his fashion Lamo

Just go and watch this hidden gem now, you will underastand immediatly why it is so good.

Actual Dialogue from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II

The Exile: “Do you have a name, or just a big mouth?”

Atton Rand: “I’m Atton. I actually wasn’t supposed to make it into the final game, but I was created at the last minute. Blame my agent. I was actually slated for a spin-off to Jedi Knight, but I don’t want to talk about what happened THERE.”

(If you listen closely, at this point you can hear me in the background, choking on my coffee and yelling “WHAT THE FUCK” around attempts to suppress startled laughter)

You are weak, undisciplined. Cowering behind Walls. I alone am worthy of the Traveler’s Light. You’re not brave. You’ve merely forgotten the fear of death. Allow me to reacquaint you.

Ghost? Something’s wrong. I can’t feel my Light anymore. Ghost, what’s wrong? You can’t be dead. I can’t – how am I supposed to do this without you? I know I never say it but you are – Please, I’m begging you.

The Girl From the Journal (Pt 2)

Part 1

Surprise! I finished the second part to my soulmate AU! Sorry it took 62 years to finish. Enjoy!

A/N: In this AU, Riverdale is a much bigger city than it is in canon, so the Riverdale Register is much bigger as well. Also, shoutout to @birdlovesafish for giving me the idea for Betty’s nickname that Polly’s kids call her. Thanks, lovely!

Betty Cooper stumbled through the revolving glass doors of the tallest building in town, the Riverdale Register. Betty took a look around the recently renovated lobby, her eyes widening in awe at the pristine marble flooring and state of the art computers on every desk from the receptionist’s right in front of her, to the reporters’ in the back room.

“May I help you?” The man standing behind the reception area asked in a nasally voice, his nose turning up to the tall ceiling at the sight of Betty and her too-tight ponytail and wrinkled baby blue skirt clumsily sliding her way across the recently mopped wet floor.

“Yes! I’m looking for a Mr. Jones,” she explained once she had made her way safely over to him, holding onto the counter tightly with one hand and smoothing down her blouse with the other. “Um, he left something of his at my sister’s cafe this morning and I’m here to return it.”

“Do you have a name?” the man wanted to know, glancing down at his computer briefly to check something before flicking his eyes back up in her direction impatiently.

“Uh, I do. But whatever name you give him won’t mean anything to him,” Betty informed him, her words coming out rushed and jumbled as she scrambled to explain herself. “He doesn’t actually know me - I mean apparently he writes about me, but he’s never met me. Well technically he met me this morning, but it was only briefly and I don’t think he really even looked me in the eye or-”

“Rambling crazy lady with a journal,” the man spat, cutting her off and eyeing her with a look of annoyance as he picked up the phone on the counter to punch in a number. “That’ll be enough of a description for him, thanks.”

“Rude,” Betty muttered under her breath, backing away from the desk and rubbing her arms up and down uncomfortably as she waited for the receptionist to make his phone call.

“He’ll be down in a moment,” he told her. “Try not to touch anything while you’re waiting. In fact, try not to even look at anything breakable until Mr. Jones arrives.”

“Well okay then,” Betty mumbled, making her way over to the wall on the opposite side of the reception area where she found row after row of noteworthy articles from past news editions, framed and polished for the entire office to read.

Betty scanned the wall, taking in title after title until one particularly lengthy column that sat at the very end, nearest to the staircase, caught her eye. It was written by the very man of whose journal she was lugging around in her purse, and as curiosity got the better of her, she began reading until she was completely immersed in his words, just as she had been when she was reading his journal.

I don’t know which is worse: believing that I did it, or believing that you did this to me.

People have already talked about how profoundly this statement emphasizes Will’s attachment to Hannibal, and God it makes my heart hurt to hear him utter it, both for the tragedy of it for Will, and because it is the first time we’ve heard him openly voice his attachment to Hannibal…

But I want to talk for a minute about just how brilliantly manipulative this statement is.

All through season 1, what Hannibal wanted above all else, what he was so curious about, was to see if Will could embrace the violent side of himself, the side that derives pleasure from envisioning murder and empathizing with the darkest parts of human nature. And Hannibal wanted this because he was lonely. He wanted a connection. He wanted a friend.

As Hugh Dancy said at SDCC, Hannibal and Will are “two people who have been wandering their whole lives through a world in which they have not experienced really any viable form of connection with another human being…. And then they meet.”

And what does Hannibal do at this, one of the most pivotal moments of his own life? He allows his curiosity and his perversity to destroy the relationship, the only viable relationship he’s ever had. He wants Will to be a murderer so badly that he’s willing to risk everything for it, so that he can be truly seen by Will, who has both the capacity to understand him and the worthiness to receive Hannibal’s trust. Hannibal wants for his connection to be authentic and abiding and real.

Will now–finally–voices that he reciprocates Hannibal’s feelings of friendship and connection. Hannibal must face that he gave away the one truly good thing in his life. And Will simultaneously reminds him that the relationship is tainted by his lack of trust, so Hannibal is going to have to work, understandably so, very hard to try to get it back.

At the same time, Will also says that Hannibal’s friendship is so desirable to Will, the connection between them so precious, that Will would almost rather have that connection than be innocent. Will might prefer to be a killer because Hannibal means that much to him. It’s murder and friendship all wrapped up in one.

It’s everything Hannibal’s ever wanted.

Subtly, Will is presenting Hannibal with the closest and dearest desires of Hannibal’s heart, hinting but not promising, tempting him, luring him, drawing him in.

The words may be true, but they’re no less manipulative for that.

WIP - The Girl From the Journal Pt 2

So here’s a sneak peek of the next part of my soulmate AU that I wrote quite a while ago. I wanted to share what I have of Bughead’s first official conversation. So while it’s not finished, it’s a start right? ;) Thanks @jandjsalmon for making me want to actually finish this lol. Read part 1 here or on ao3

“Wow, he’s good,” she breathed, staring at the article in awe, feeling completely captivated by this stranger’s thoughts on the boycott at the local theater a few months back.

“I hated that article.”

A voice coming from behind Betty startled her into shuffling backwards, nearly knocking a ceramic vase off the shelf hanging on the back wall. She turned to find the man she had seen at the cafe that morning descending the stairs, the beanie he was wearing earlier now absent from his head, leaving him with a thick head of dark hair that Betty thought suited his features very nicely.

“I sat outside that theater for sixteen hours waiting to talk to some C-list celebrity who supposedly organized the entire event and who, turns out, had no idea what he was even boycotting,” Jughead explained as he took the few steps to stand beside her, his eyes focused on the wall in front of them.

“Well apparently it was good enough to make the wall,” Betty pointed out, turning on her heel to gesture to the framed articles laid out before them. “Looks like you have a lot of wall-worthy articles.”

“Yeah,” Jughead muttered, his expression distant as he finally turned to meet her gaze. “So what’s this I hear about a crazy lady and a journal?”

“Right! First of all, not crazy,” Betty began, turning back to glare at the smug receptionist with as much disdain as she could muster. “Well, I mean I might be crazy. I lied to you. I’m not here to give you back your journal - well I am, but I think that we should talk about it first - not in a weird way or anything. I just think that-”

“I’m hoping that there’s a ‘second of all’ amidst all that… whatever that was,” Jughead teased, quirking an amused eyebrow in her direction as he gestured back towards the receptionist polishing the counter with his coat sleeve. “Because I’m really starting to see what Matthew was saying about your tendency to ramble in long strides now.”

“Second of all,” Betty said with mock-annoyance, stepping forward to shove the leather-bound book into his chest. “Here’s your journal.”

Jughead took the journal from Betty, their fingers brushing ever-so-slightly and lingering atop the front cover for just a split second. To anyone watching from the outside looking in, it would have looked like an accidental encounter, nothing more than a meaningless touch from two strangers. But to them - they felt it in their fingertips. That electricity that clued them into the idea that maybe this was more than a coincidence. Maybe this was fate.

Anonymous asked: If you’re still looking for requests, might I request a Jamie LannisterxReader Cinderella AU style fic please? xx

I do not own Jaime or Tywin. They belong to George R.R.Martin.

Warnings: FLUFF!! Disney-inspired AU. (Since it is an AU, Jaime is a prince and not a knight.)

Pairings: Jaime Lannister x fem!reader, Tywin Lannister

When Jaime agreed to let his family throw a ball in his honor, his father decreed that Jaime would use the ball to find a bride.

Now, Jaime was greeting probably the fiftieth woman that night. So far, none of them had caught his interest. “Come now, Jaime. You could at least pretend to be enjoying yourself,” Tywin admonished, making Jaime scoff. “I am not enjoying myself, Father. These women are here only for my title.” Tywin chuckled. “Of course they are, my son. You simply have to choose one.”

Beaufort Fall 2017 01 Panorama – Salt Water Marsh, Beaufort, South Carolina, November 12, 2017

One of the early lessons in photography and life is this:
“One time is NOT as good as another.”
Photographers wait for the right time,
and train themselves to know it when they see it.
People with cameras
(and iPhone cameras are better in a lot of ways
than anything Ansel Adams, et al, worked with)
click their way through the day without evaluating
any scene in terms of its “wall worthiness,”
and are imminently happy with every one.
Photographers evaluate everything about each scene,
and are never happy with every one of their images.
“One time is NOT as good as another”
should carry over into the way photographers live their life.
So that they evaluate every occasion,
each situation,
in terms of what is right for each time and place,
and what is wrong.
All moments are not equal.
Some situations call for this, now,
while other situations call for that, then.
The trick is to live in each situation
in ways appropriate to the time and place of our living,
and to wait, wait, wait
for what we have to say,
or what we want to do,
to fit the needs of the moment,
and its ability to benefit
from what we have to offer
