Recovery- A Good Man

Here is Steve’s entry in the Recovery series. A while back I asked readers for help in deciding what Steve would want to do.

@kissofvenom922 suggested him wanting to do something new for his list, and @sebastian-bucky-stan suggested wanting to see old sites in Brooklyn, and missing how things used to be. So, I tried to incorporate them both (and this will not be the last you see of Steve’s list, I can assure you- I have big plans).

If you have any feedback, I would love to hear it, and I really hope you enjoy this! Next up in the Recovery series, and the last entry into it, is the Reader.

“Here too?” Nat exclaimed with a strange smile on her face.

“Here too. By a guy easily twice my size,” Steve replied, sounding more proud of himself than he should have been.

Today was Steve’s day. You had all suffered physically, mentally and emotionally after the battle in New York against the Chitauri. Steve decided he wanted to do a walking tour of Brooklyn, to see the old sites and discover the new. Somewhere along the way, it had turned into a “Steve Rogers Got Beat Up Here” tour.

You laughed quietly (though maybe you shouldn’t have), pulling your coat closer around yourself. You remembered that day.

Advent Calendar- 14 Days Until Christmas

Recovery- A Good Man Alternate Edition for @sarahjeaniejean

Hey guys! This Advent Calendar entry is a little bit different to the ones we have had already, but I think it is still fun! This version of the story does not contain the trigger from the standard edition.

When I received the ask, thanking me for tagging it, I decided I wanted to make a different version, so that this story can still be enjoyed by those that need to avoid the trigger! I can’t do that with all of my stories, but in this one, it was quite easy to switch things around a little bit, and I hope that you all enjoy it!!!

WARNINGS- BRIEF MENTION OF ASTHMA (NO ASTHMA ATTACKS)

“Are you sure?” you asked.

The next portion of the “Matt meets my Tumblr friends” weekend started with a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and a guided tour of local streets courtesy of Stefanie.

The next day we got to meet Lu who most definitely likes ear scratching (hers, not mine). Lu has some pretty sweet views of Manhattan.

After Matt and I viewed the 9/11 museum Stefanie gave us a convertible ride through Times Square en route to the USS Intrepid museum.

When I first saw the Prius squad car I thought “can they really catch bad guys in that thing?”

Yes. Because the average vehicle speed in Manhattan is about 7 MPH which even a Prius can attain.
