This picture was taken in a designer
boutique in Wardour Street, Soho, where I was working. It was my weekend job.
The store was called Head Over Heels. They sold Chipie, Tavernitta, Replay,
Kickers: most sought after brands at that time. I was wearing a wool bomber
jacket which I made myself. That was when I was really into pattern cutting, so
I liked doing the intricate details of all the arches, as you can see on the
garment. And I was wearing a rubber hat that I got from Camden Market.
