Hello, I was wondering how you felt about L276 from Bodyline. You know, the waffle dress? I looked through the tags because I thought you had looked at this skirt before but I couldn't find it. I thought it was super cute but the lace confuses me. It looks kind of bad but a lot less bad than what it could look like. Do you know if the bow is detachable? I hope it is. Thank you for your time.

I haven’t talked about the skirt specifically before which is the item number you gave me but I have talked about the dress of the same print which is L275, just one number off. I haven’t talked much about it though. I really think both are pretty cute but I do see what you’re saying about the lace. It is a little weird looking close up but I think it looks perfectly fine from a distance. Like, in the picture of the model wearing it I think it looks fine and it isn’t until the zoomed in picture that I think it looks weird. I don’t think it really takes anything away from it.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find any information on whether or not the bow was detachable.

Trend Watch: Vans x Eley Kishimoto

Husband and wife design duo Mark Eley and Wakako Kishimoto live by the maxim ‘Print the World,’ and have been dubbed ‘The Patron Saints of Prints.’ The designers brought two of their classic archive prints—the black and white bolt ‘Flash’ and the graphic floral ‘Magnolia Hysteria’—to the Vans x Eley Kishimoto Collection, and also created three new ones: ‘Whooping Waffle,’ which is an interpretation of the Vans waffle sole, ‘Drums,’ which is a play on the classic Checkerboard, and ‘Bumpy Road,’ which draws on the wavy sidestripe.

They have created prints for labels such as Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton and Alexander McQueen, and launched their own womenswear collection in 1996, in addition to serving as the creative directors of French fashion house Cacharel. In printing the world, their designs have appeared on everything from cars to subway stations, walls, bicycles, watches and even gnomes. We think we’re in good company.

Slow Burn - Part 4

Hey everyone!! So Tumblr is being super weird about copying and pasting from a word document so sorry about how long it took me to post this. I’m just going to warn you… this chapter is not all puppies and rainbows. In fact, I don’t thin there’s a single mention of either of those things. Also kneekeyta asked if I knew how long this fic would be. I know but I don’t really want tell. Every time I know how long a fic is, I can generally gage when a couple is going to get together based on the amount of chapters. And I don’t want you guys doing that with this. All I will tell you is there are a lot of ups and downs left to go. This fic is very dramatic. And Finn is not always a knight in shining armor.

Anyway… thank you guys so much for reading. I love love love you guys’s comments. They are awesome. And it just warms my heart that you guys have cared enough to read my stuff or even like or reblog it. I mean it when I say that I really appreciate it. You guys are awesome.

Part 4:

She picked up a few of the toys scattered around the living room, throwing them in the corner. Rae had chosen her favorite shirt and skirt combo to give her strength. She tugged at the hem of the shirt, making sure it sat right on her.
She thought over her list of things she wanted to tell him, the guns in her arsenal of reasons he had to stay. Although Rae was dead set on telling him her feelings yesterday, the next morning in the harsh light of day, spilling her guts started to look much less appealing.

She didn’t want to tell him she was in love with him unless she felt she had to. She was too worried about what would happen to them if he decided to stay and was burdened with the knowledge of her love for him.

She should be basking in the freedom of being nearly twenty-two and having the house all to herself. But she couldn’t relax, she couldn’t relish in the complete tranquility of being free of all familial responsibility for a while. All she could think about was the ominous talk she had to have. And the slight chance that Finn could vomit all over her at the notion of her being interested in him.
