did you bleach your hair by yourself (as in not got it done in a salon), and if you did, how did it go and do you have any tips for it?
yea i did, although when i went to buy the stuff someone there explained the process and suggested what to get so it was easier :o
for me personally i got 40 volume developer + bleach powder (u just mix the two together) since i have naturally dark brown hair and i needed something stronger to lift the color. as for tips, check your hair every 10-15 minutes to see how its lightening (make sure its a very light blond if you’re going for a pastel color or anything generally light). also, when bleaching start from the roots and leave the ends for last!
(also, get toner if you’re going to need to get rid of the yellow tones in your hair)
lastly, if you don’t have it already, i suggest getting coconut oil cause it helps protect/strengthen damaged or dry hair cause bleach isn’t the best
You don’t always want to get your hair wet. Perhaps it’s freezing outside, or you’ve got no time, or your gym has the worst shampoo ever (try our minis!), or your arm is sore from blow-drying yesterday. No need to make excuses—here are seven ways to freshen up your look, no towel-turban required. HOLLY SIEGEL
1. DE-FRIZZ AND ADD SHINE WITH AGAVE HEALING OIL TREATMENT
Second-day strands can get frizzy and lackluster, especially when you’re already prone to dryness. Condition and smooth thirsty ends with a dab of this lightweight plant-based oil.
2. ADD VOLUME WITH BUMBLE AND BUMBLE THICKENING DRYSPUN FINISH
Yesterday your look may have been va-va-voom, but today it’s a little deflated. Spray on a root pick-me-up and all-over fullness with this silky formula.
3. REFRESH CURLS WITH DEVACURL MIST-ER RIGHT
Somehow scents like smog, smoke, and food seem to get just a bit more tangled up in curls. Deposit a dose of lavender fragrance while bringing them back to buoyant.
4. SOAK UP OIL WITH DRYBAR DETOX DRY SHAMPOO
Got a perfect blowout and want to keep it going? The micro powder in this product absorbs oil, sans residue, while extending the life of your style in one fine mist.
6. HOLD IT TOGETHER WITH LIVING PROOF FLEX SHAPING HAIRSPRAY
This ultra-touchable spray gives hair some hold without weighing it down. Perfect when you want to change up your look without adding build-up.

Hair may not be my forte but what’s the point of having nice makeup and bad hair? To rock the Gatsby look, yes you need the makeup but you also most certainly need the hair too. The 1920s were all about glamorous up dos, finger waves and hair accessories. Every outfit was accompanied by embellished hair pins and decorative hairbands, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think the hair was oh-so beautiful. Don’t forget to complete the 1920s look with matching makeup!
Finger waves are my favourite look from the 1920s but I also LOVE glamorous updos, they make me think of amazing roaring parties (a la la The Great Gatsby)
One day after work, you are surprise to see someone who you do not want to see. Your ex is actually waiting for you outside your workplace. He even mentioned that he had broken off with his current girlfriend. He realized that you are better and regret his past decision. He even said that he misses you and hope to start the relationship all over again. When you refuse his request, he cannot accept the fact. He insists that you still have feeling with him and end up force a kiss on your lips. You tried to pull him away but he grab hold of you tightly. You are basically crying when you think of the God who you are deeply in love with.
Suddenly, there is a strong force that pulls your ex away from you. You realized it was Karno. You then saw him place a large volume of chillies powder into your Ex’s mouth, forcing it into his stomach. The next moment, you saw his mouth swollen and crunching down with his stomach pain.
”This is a punishment for being rude to my goddess.“ Karno said and pulls you close to him, before leading you home.
Zyglavis enlarge his shadow to frighten your ex. Your ex thought he saw a ghost and ran off immediately. However, he trips and fell causing him him to broke his front teeth.
“I do not want to see your face again. Otherwise, the punishment will be worst.” Zyglavis rebuked angrily
He then embraced you to calm you down before holding your hand to lead you away.
Suddenly a few heralds came out of nowhere and crash into your Ex. Your ex was seen flying off to the ground. The goat continues to attack him until he was limping. Aigonorus showed up and pulls you close to him, before buried your face in his chest to comfort you.
“The next time you did this to her again, I will make sure that you suffer worse than now.” Aigonorus warned and leads you away.
The brand’s global artistic director gets salty with us.
“Surf Spray is perfect for getting big, beachy texture with grit,” begins Laurent Philippon, Bumble and bumble’s global artistic director. “But, it can be too dry or matte for certain types.” This set the iconic hair brand on a search for the silver bullet for their clients with damaged, dry, or brittle locks. The result: Surf Infusion, an oil- and salt-infused spray that gives everyone a shot at soft, sea-tossed waves. “Infusing that saltiness with oils has never been done like this before,” Philippon proudly points out. Below, a breakdown of how Bumble and bumble raised the bar (that it set itself 14 years ago with Surf Spray) on bottling that just-back-from-the-beach look. MELISSA LANE
The new salt-in-oil formula is a mellow mix of hydrating tropical oils, texturizing sea salts, and UV filters that guard against the drying effects of the sun.
THE STAR INGREDIENTS
The tropical oil blends coconut, passion fruit, mango seed, and palm oils to soften and condition hair; the sea salt and mineral blend uses Dead Sea salts and magnesium sulfate for body and texture; and the Beach Protective blend uses coconut fruit extract, algae extract, and UV inhibitors to moisturize, protect, and balance.
A softer twist on windswept waves with surf-tousled texture and sun-reflecting sheen.
THE SCOOP ON HOW TO USE
Shake well. This is important: It’s a dual-phase formula, so you have to combine the oils, sea salts, and minerals.
Mist. Whether hair is damp or dry doesn’t matter, just make sure to aim for the mid-shaft and ends, where moisture is most needed. Use sparingly at the root to avoid weighing things down.
Style by squeezing or twisting. For soft waves, apply Surf Infusion then air-dry. To build more volume, apply Surf Infusion then diffuse. If needed, touch up and smooth with a brush once dry, or with a curling iron to add more wave.
THE PRO TIPS
When in doubt, layer!
For lift, use Surf Spray at the roots, then Surf Infusion on the lengths for texture and sheen.
To soften, tame, and prep hair for styling, apply Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer first.
For body, texture, and added hold, layer Surf Infusion over Thickening Hairspray, then diffuse.
To refresh or add more volume, apply Prêt-à-Powder once dry.
To build body and texture in the shower before styling, start with Surf Foam Wash Shampoo and Creme Rinse Conditioner.
Super dry hair? Try a more moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, such as sulfate-free Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Shampoo and Conditioner.
For finer types, combine Surf Spray with Grooming Creme. Surf Infusion alone runs the risk of weighing down fine hair.

Based on Anon request: How to get Alexa’s effortless waves
Alexa: She tends to have a bit more of a loose undone curl. My hair is getting to be the same length as hers so this look is easy to do.
Prep hair (if wet) with a styling product that gives it al little grip. Bumble and Bumble Styling Cream ($$) is super good but Not Your Mother’s Beach Bade Texture Cream ($) works too. If dry I give mine a tiny spritz of hair spray or texture spray
take curing wand and wrap hair around. The looser you wrap the more relaxed the wave/curl will be. I turn my wand on it’s side instead of up and down.
spray with a little hair spray when done, let it set, then ruffle it up with your fingers
Lou: she tends to do more of a a crimpy beach wave rather than a curl. vv piecey feel to it.
(works best on dry day 2 hair for me when I had it longer)
prep with dry shampoo at the roots. Add some sea salt spray as well for texture/grip
take waver (pictured is babyliss) to hair in smaller bits for a crimpy wave like picture 1 or bigger chunks larger waves like picture 2
after words I always to back and touch up the ends then ruffle hair with fingers
volume texture powder in roots gives a extra hep to the piecey messy look
spray with a little hair spray when done if you want
***If you don’t have a waver for lou’s look rough curl your hair a bit after step 1 and then braid it before bed or run a flat iron over the braid. The smaller the braid the more crimpy the look. Start braid as far up your head as you can and as far down as you can. after you tie it off, loosen the braid some to get rid of frizz. finish it up with step 4 and 5***
I've got thick wavy hair with plenty of volume but I want DRAMATIC volume. Blow-drying upside down gets it pretty big throughout, but it's so heavy that the top always gets flat. Trying to decide between Elnett or some kind of light mousse at the roots for hold, something that won't feel too crunchy - thoughts or recs?
elnett will give you that volume, it’s honestly a godsend of a hairspray. volumizing powder is good too though. volume has never been a thing i needed to add too (i have perpetually filthy hair and a lot of it. #glam) but big sexy hair makes a GREAT volumizing powder, as does TIGI.
