The First Draft of the Noldolantë, by Maglor son of Fëanor
Now this is a story all about how My life got flipped turned upside down, And I’d like to take a minute just to tell you the lore Of the time I was a prince of the elves of the Noldor.
In the southeast of Valinor, born and raised With my brothers is where I spent most of my days Chillin’ out, maxin’, relaxin’ carefree And playing some harp songs down beside the sea
When a coupla guys who were up to no good Started making trouble in my neighborhood They stole three Silmarils and my dad went berserk He said, “Sons, we’ll hunt that bastard all the way to Middle Earth.”
We swore we would get back our jewels someday And murder anybody who got in our way I should have asked exactly what that was worth But it didn’t occur to me so, yo, off to Middle Earth!
We went to the Teleri to borrow their ships They said no, so we killed them (Uncle Finarfin was pissed) If I had to guess it was downhill from there But we were stuck with that oath that Dad made us swear
We sailed the ships up to Losgar ‘round seven or eight Yelled back to our cousins “Yo, homes, smell you later!” I was free now to screw up my life even more As the unluckiest prince of the elves of the Noldor.
Hello! I like your thoughts on RWBY, and I agree with most of them. I was just wondering though, what's Monty's letter, and how is Roostertooth ignoring his wishes? I'm kinda out of touch with that part. What do you think of Jaune's attitude towards Qrow?
Wow thank you for your kind words. I’ve only recently decided to open my big mouth regarding rwby criticisms and fandom drama so its nice to know some people know where I’m coming from with my grievances and I’m not some crazy woman complaining for no reason.
The letter you’re referring to wasn’t written by Monty. It was written by Shane Newville who was a former RT employee and close friend/associate with Monty. He was one of the people who helped Monty create rwby from the very start along with Sheena who was Monty’s wife. He was responsible for a lot of the animation and big fights in volumes 1-3. After volume 3 finished airing Shane posted a 36 page open letter about how rwby was essentially hijacked and changed from it’s original vision after Monty passed away. It also mentions how people such as himself and Sheena were basically treated like garbage by RT when all they wanted was to try and maintain Monty’s legacy and put out the RWBY he would have wanted had he not passed away so tragically. RT never responded to the letter, but many fans (myself included) were very upset about what Shane said had happened and many decided to stop supporting the show because of it. Then there are those who don’t believe what Shane said but given Sheena retweeted the letter on Twitter and Glynda Goodwitch’s voice actress also voiced her agreement with the letter on Twitter its safe to say that at the very least, most of what Shane said in his letter has some truth behind it. It’s a long read but it does explain a lot of the questionable writing choices that happened in rwby during volume 3.
And I don’t blame Jaune for being angry at Qrow. He’s hurt and shocked about what happened and it was a very human response to have. I think the problem most fans are having is that Jaune is the ONLY one who is visibly mourning and getting any meaningful development from Pyrrha’s death while everyone else (especially Ruby who was the only one who actually saw Pyrrha get killed) hasn’t really gotten anything out of it. Of course there’s the rabid “anti-Jaune” part of the fanbase who will shit on him no matter what he does, but most of the complaints I’ve seen about him in this episode were because of what I just mentioned. I don’t really have a problem with Jaune, but I agree he needs to take more of a backseat development-wise.
What is Rwby3 about? And what makes you like it? Im just curious owo Also is the girl sharing the same VA as Shinoa, I was gonna say before I read the description. My girl's voice is so great I recognize it immediately omg.
I’m sure you sent this before I made this post. Hopefully that helps you out on why I like it so much. RWBY3 just stands for the third volume of RWBY. (which is currently airing volume 4)
And yes, Saori does a great job with her roles, I’m enjoying her as Ruby just as I did Shinoa haha.
#298.5 - Azurill aren’t strong swimmers, but gradually get accustomed to the water by playing in the shallows at the water’s edge. Their oil-filled tail keeps them from accidentally drowning, and while they are still poor swimmers, is used in aiding transportation; either through bouncing or by throwing it and being pulled by momentum. They thrive in group settings, and require a happy mindset and close friendships to be able to evolve.
#183.5 - Marill become stronger swimmers as they age, and combined with their developing ability to inhale and store a large volume of air, are able to spend increasingly long periods of time under the water. Their hearing will become so acute that they can distinguish individual Pokemon inside a raging river. While their developing body pattern camouflages them from predators, Marill practice hunting and scavenging along riverbeds, stretching their flexible tail to its limit.
I loved @mrcreepypasta narrative of Borrasca, I enjoyed it so much I got Cold Thin Air volume 1 and 2 by C.K. Walker
(Which everyone should because omg I love all the stories in them and have read them multiple times)
And omg this literally took hours but I’m so happy how it turned out 😍😂
Amongst the highland cloud.
Feeling forever fascinated by the dynamic visual formations of weather.
Clouds & rainfall have an undoubted affect over our emotions, and here in Iceland the presence of these elements can alter the mood of a landscape so incredibly fast, as each atmospheric front rolls over the land.
I have been researching deeper into Iceland’s weather recently and came across the gargantuan that is the Icelandic Low. A unique low pressure center that sits to the west of Iceland, known to hover latitudinally between 60°-65°N and fluctuating heavily in intensity throughout the seasons. This beast of a system channels varying volumes of air, be it hot or cold, into the Arctic and forms one pole of the North Atlantic oscillation.
Pretty rad stuff.

The air that is inhaled is about 20-percent oxygen, and the air that is exhaled is about 15-percent oxygen, so about 5-percent of the volume of air is consumed in each breath and converted to carbon dioxide. Therefore, a human being uses about 550 liters of pure oxygen (19 cubic feet) per day.
