A portrait of Vlad III of Wallachia, known as Vlad Tepes - The Impaler or Dracula. The image taken from “Wunderliche und erschrockenliche hystori von einem groszen wuttrich genant Dracole wayda”, 1491.
Beautiful lesbian vampire from Sheridan Le Fanu’s novel of the same name.
Carmilla, really the Countess Mircalla Karnstein, attempted to seduce a young woman named Laura. She would send Laura dreams featuring her and the two would meet when Carmilla staged a carriage accident outside Laura’s home. To Laura, Carmilla is very strange, because she sleeps during the day and awakens only at night.
Not long after Carmilla arrives, many young girls and servants begin to die of unknown causes and a strange black beast enters into Laura’s bedchambers. Carmilla is revealed to be behind this, when a General she met at a masquerade ball realizes she is a vampire.
With the help of Baron Vordenburg, the General and Laura finally put an end to Carmilla at an old hidden tomb.
Famous female serial killer Elizabeth Báthory, was a member of The Order of the Dragon, a Hungarian group of Christian nobles that wanted to win back their country. The famous Vlad Tepes III, Elizabeth’s Great-Uncle, was also a member of this group.
Elizabeth was known for her brutal murder of over 600 young girls, whom’s blood she believed held the secret to eternal youth. After her trial and isolation, many rumors and stories of her being a vampire sprung up and it was even said she bathed in the blood of virgins.
She was also known to be the inspiration for Carmilla.
Until Christian Grey cuts a woman from her genitals to her throat for lying to him about being pregnant, feeds a baby to three women who eat it alive, sick a pack of wolves on the mother of the baby, rape a woman specifically to punish the men who love her, cut off and maim the genitals of women for “adultery” or for no real reason other than the fact that if gives him pleasure to do so, cuts off the lips and noses of his enemies, burns people alive, impales people, nails turbans onto the heads of Muslims, and a million other horrible things, then MAYBE you’ll have a case to say that he’s worse than Alucard.
Me, actually having to explain to Hellsing fans how Christian Grey isn’t worse than Alucard, who is Dracula, who is Vlad the Impaler.
No really. They actually needed this spelled out for them.
