I'm too big for my short height I'm scared I'm going to get loose skin do you have to deal with this?

I actually haven’t surprisingly enough. Vitamin E lotions are said to be extremely helpful in the process of losing weight to minimize excess skin.

#386 - Stretch Marks

Harry: Looking in the mirror after your shower, you held your arm out, seeing the little discoloured lines going up and down your inner arm. You sighed and shook your arm slightly, the skin moving a little more than you would like. Harry tapped on the door and you dropped your arm, reaching over to open the door for him. “You’re done?” he smiled, coming into the bathroom. “No, I’m still showering,” you nudged his hip playfully as he walked past. “Do you know if we have any coconut butter cream stuff?” you asked him, kneeling down to look through the cupboard. “I think so,” he nodded, opening the medicine cabinet and pulling out the tube of it. “Here,” he mentioned, holding it out for you. “Thanks babe,” you smiled, taking it from him and putting some in your hand, rubbing it over the marks. Harry smiled softly and kissed the back of your neck before slipping out of the bathroom.

Liam: Frowning slightly you pulled your shirt over your stomach and pulled your leggings on, making sure the high waist covered them before you headed out into the kitchen to make breakfast before heading to class. Deciding on some fruit, you couldn’t get the picture of the marks on your tummy out of your head.  ‘Maybe if I eat healthier they’ll go away?’ you thought to yourself. Later that night, when you were settled in bed for the night, Liam crawled in next to you. He had a look in his eye that you didn’t match. His hand slid under your shirt and you shook your head, pushing it right back. “Not tonight…” you murmured. You didn’t want him to see the marks. His smile fell slightly. “Is everything okay?” “Yeah,” you nodded, pulling your shirt down as low as it could. “I just don’t wanna do anything tonight.” Liam nodded his head, chewing his lip and kissing your cheek gently.

Niall: You were ready to wear the two piece bathing suit after finally getting to a place you wanted to be. You were happy with your weight, confident with it, but there was still hesitation. When you pulled it on, the stretch marks on your hips from the recent weight loss were still visible. Your smile fell slightly and you tried to adjust the material so they wouldn’t be there. “Hey! It looks great babe!” Niall beamed, coming into the bedroom. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you in something like that.” “No, and it’s the last time you will,” you murmured. “Why?” he raised his eyebrows at you. “These,” you said bluntly, pointing to the marks on your hips. Niall looked at them and then back up to you. “What about them?” “I don’t want people seeing stretch marks Niall,” you shook your head. “They’re ugly.” He shook his head and turned you towards the mirror. “They’re just signs of hard work babe. It’s nothing to be ashamed of.”

Louis: Louis pulled your legs over his lap, pulling out the Vitamin E lotion and putting some onto his hand. You smiled softly as he began rubbing it over your calves, making sure he had enough over the dark marks on the back of your knees and down the back of your calves just slightly. You smiled softly and put a hand on his back. “Thanks babe,” you murmured, looking back at the television. “They don’t hurt right?” he asked curiously, massaging the cream into your skin. You shook your head and adjusted the pillow behind your head. “No not really. Like if you press hard, obviously it will but it’s not painful no,” you answered. Louis smiled softly and moved his fingers against your skin gently. “Well that’s good isn’t it,” he chuckled. “Yeah,” you smiled, yawning out deeply. “That feels really good. Like… magic hands.” Louis shook his head, laughing out slightly. “Silly.”

Zayn: “I hate them…” you sighed, trying to cover the stretchmarks on your breasts with some makeup. Zayn watched from the bed, leaning back on his hands. “I know babe, but you just need to keep using the lotion and stuff,” he shrugged, not really knowing what to say. “Do you think they’re ugly?” you turned in the chair to look at him. “No, of course I don’t,” he answered you. “Okay good,” you chewed on your bottom lip turning back to look at what you were doing in the mirror. Zayn stood up and come up behind you, leaning over to kiss the top of your head. “You look good babe, okay?” he hummed before retreating into the bathroom to start up the shower. Smiling to yourself, you finished up what you were doing. Pulling the outfit on that you wanted to wear, you looked it over in the mirror, happy with the appearance that looked back at you. You looked good.

This time I will be talking about lashes. Don’t we love lashes? We do! No eye makeup is complete without a touch up in your eyelashes. Long eyelashes can take any look from 100 to 1000 in one second and make an attractive look. 

That is why a lot of beauty lovers dream to have longer lashes.

But unfortunately, not all of us are blessed with long and thick eyelashes. We can make our eyelashes longer by makeup or by applying fake lashes. If you have naturally long eyelashes, you don’t have to spend a lot of mascara to make it look longer. 

But if you don’t, then you may need to work on making it look longer. So why don’t you start growing your eyelashes naturally? You can make your eyelashes grow longer and stronger than ever before.

1. TAKE CARE OF YOUR LASHES

To get a perfect amount of eyelashes, you must take care of your eye to make it work. If you try everything and don’t keep your eyes clean, then you will not get the benefit. Take off your makeup and clean your eyes every time before you go to bed.

When washing your makeup off, be sure not to pull at your eyelashes. I like mascara that comes off really easily to prevent tugging and pulling at lashes. Pulling stunts growth and undoes all the hard work you’ve put into making those lashes grow again! 

2. BRUSH YOUR LASHES

It sounds a little weird but there actually is a type of small comb which can help you to brush your eyelashes. Just by brushing your eyelashes, you can actually make them grow a little longer.  Also this is truly one of my favorite tips on how to make your eyelashes grow that is easy to do. 

So comb your eyelashes regularly and see the result.

3. VASELINE IS THE NEW HEAVEN

Instead of spending your money on something that could darken your eyes, why not try something easy and quick?

It is an old-age trick but it really works! And it is the simplest one! You just have to use a cotton stick or mascara brush and apply a swipe of Vaseline on your eyelid before you go to bed. It will make your lashes longer and thicker. You have to wait for the results but it will make a noticeable change.

4. NATURAL OILS

Olive oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil and castor oil are mostly common for making your lash longer. Applying them regularly on your lashes can simply make it work. To see the best result, do it regularly. Natural oil contains vitamins, minerals and lengthening agents which will not only enlarge your lashes but also moisturize them.

If you want to start doing it but you are kind of worried of what will happen you should start by trying out olive oil. Just adding a bit of olive oil to your lids at night will truly help your eyelashes soak up all of the vitamins and minerals in olive oil! 

5. GREEN TEA

Here’s another great reason to stock your pantry with green tea. Only in this case, you won’t drink it. Instead, you are going to put it straight on your eyelashes. It might sound weird, but I promise that it works! Simply dip a cotton ball in freshly steeped green tea and gently swipe it on your lashes. It can help promote growth. Just make sure you steep a fresh cup for drinking!

6. MASSAGE YOUR EYELIDS

Most common problems you may have faced with eyelashes are that they can fall out and even break if you mistreat them. You can rub your eyelids to help it out. This means that by massaging the eyelids you will be stimulating the hair follicles which help to grow stronger eyelashes.

7. EAT YOUR VEGGIES AND PROTEINS

Your natural growth of hair depends on the diet you are following. If you have a bad diet then you will notice that your body will not support to the growths properly. Your eyelashes will not increase enough too. Try to intake fruits and veggies to make a remarkable difference. 

Include lean proteins in your diet such as fish, cheese, eggs, beans, yoghurt, milk, almonds, fruits etc. Drink plenty of water to get rid of toxins. This will ensure you have longer and thicker lashes.

8. VITAMIN E 

Sometimes people change their eating habits and start a healthier lifestyle, however, they want faster results without damaging their bodies. So for the past couple of months I was suffering from pretty bad acne. Really painful cyst-like acne that wouldn’t go away and was under the skin. I take really good care of my face. I use natural soap for sensitive skin, I drink a lot of water throughout the day, I don’t touch my face, I use vitamin E oil & lotion.. but regardless of what I would do the acne never really went away. I started to realize it wasn’t improper care of my skin, it  was more or likely my hormones and other bodily functions. I never used to have bad acne, and my face used to be very clear but my previous eating disorder fucked up my hormones and body in general and it took me forever to figure out what to take to clear up my skin. I now take a women’s multi-vitamin everyday along with chastetree berry (for female hormones otherwise known as agnus cactus. Breakouts along jawline/sides of lower face/near chin) and milk thistle (for your liver and for breakouts on forehead). I used to drink almost everyday and I was purging/starving myself which probably messed with my liver and hormone levels. My skin has cleared up SO much. It’s unbelievable how fast I saw results. I suggest anyone suffering from acne, especially if you had an ED to try out those supplements. There’s really nothing to lose. Also, the area of your face you’re breaking out in is because of certain parts of your body not functioning properly. 

Also, I went to the doctor because I couldn’t handle my skin looking so bad and they told me my acne wasn’t bad enough to go to a dermatoligst which pissed me off so much. They told me taking supplements wont fix anything and they didn’t even suggest anything for me to take. All they did was tell me to use benzoyl peroxide (for spot acne treatment but it doesn’t fix any internal acne problems). So I took matters into my own hands and now my face looks so much better. 

This is absolutely the best lotion I have ever tried! I suffer from very dry skin especially in the winter time. Let’s face it…this winter has been pretty brutal!  I went to a health store near me and looked around and found this lovely product. It goes on a little thick and a little greasy but it dries perfectly. I normally can’t stand lotions because they feel greasy for hours! This only does for 10-20 minutes depending on how much you use. My dry skin has already improved in just a couple of days.  I love that it is natural and vegan!

What is up with stretch marks? Do all women have them? Do they go away? - a millennial who recently acquired some.

They are extremely common. I can’t verify that ALL women have them but MOST women have them. Don’t worry. They are a normal part of…you know, being human. They generally do not go away but there are creams and vitamin-E lotions and stuff that claim to minimize their appearance.
