Wew last guy from Mystic Messenger, V! He is one of my favorites, I had this concept in mind for a while. I made him look like Victor from Yuri on Ice on purpose. I heard about their appearance similiarities, so I won’t be bothered if people mention this lol.

Not sure how to draw his expression. Looking badass or sad? I end up drawing him almost facepalming( ̄□ ̄;)I couldn’t find the meaning behind cyan flowers, but this color fit him so well. If categorized with blue, he seeks the impossible. Painful, yet holding onto it.

Of course I can’t get ahold of everything, but every little help and consideration is appreciated!

After many requests, here is Jaehee. I hope you like it! By this I got through the whole maincast of Mystic Messenger ┗|・o・|┛Her colorscheme reminds me of autumn, so I thought a withered rose fits her. While playing her route, I pitied her situation. Take chances and enjoy the life before it withers.

The pose I drew her in looks as if she throws Jumin and Elizabeth 3rd away lol.

anonymous asked:

What's the visual novel that the quote is from?

The visual novel is called Burning Bright in the Forests of the Night.

It was first released as an extra with the first pressing of the 6th Japanese DVD/Bluray volumes on December 18th, 2013, along with other two visual novels: A Choice with no Regrets, and Wall Sina, Goodbye. It has been re-released on the recent Season 1 DVD/Bluray Boxsets.

The whole visual novel is basically Levi’s thoughts about Eren during the events of Season 1. We get to see his point of view during the most relevant moments Eren and Levi share.

It really is great because we get into Levi’s head and know what he thinks about Eren. Here’s a resume with the most important points:

Levi calls Eren a monster, but a monster “created so perfectly it inspires awe, and fear”.

When Levi realizes Eren has transformed to fight the female titan in the forest, and he might be in danger, Levi’s heart is described as “cold as ice”, and he “flies like a released arrow”.

Levi beating Eren in the trial is described as “an extreme, cunning performance. But a necessary one”. He also thinks how they’re forced to make hard decisions all the time, and beating Eren is his last resort. “Ahh, what a load of bullshit. But there’s no choice. A soldier’s profession is to wield violence”. I personally love this part because it really proves that Levi did not want to hurt Eren, and was just doing it because he had no other choice.

Levi knows about Eren’s past, about his training time, and even about his childhood. It is said that “violence and any other form of pain will never break the boy’s spirit”. Not even getting a beating is going to destroy him, on the contrary, it will make him stronger.

The most important part from the whole visual novel is probably this one:

Humanity’s Strongest understands Eren Jaeger very well.
Eren Jaeger is indeed feared as a monster.
Eren Jaeger is undoubtedly a monster.
But all these people have gotten it wrong from the start.
Eren Jaeger is not a monster because he has the power to shift into a titan
”.

When Levi calls Eren a monster, he isn’t talking about his shifting power. He is talking about his strenght and will. He is a monster because he is capable of enduring so much and still keep fighting. When Levi calls Eren a monster, it’s not something with bad connotations, it’s actually almost a compliment, as he speaks of him with admiration.

Eren is a monster “not because of the titan power, but because his soul itself is a monster”. And nothing can’t control this monster, “not even love” (゚ω゚;).

Levi wants to protect Eren, and calls him a “monster with perfect, fearsome beauty”. ( I assume this is the quote you saw in the first place).

When Levi rescues Eren, he yells his name. He “looks at the boy he’s holding" and wonders if he put too much weight on his shoulders or confused him by making him decide.

The visual novel ends with the poem The Tyger by William Blake, which gives name to the visual novel.

You can watch the visual novel here or here.

It was translated to english by sunset-tower, you can find the translation here. Any quotes used on this post belong to that translation.

I personally recommend this visual novel, it’s short but I think it’s very important to understand Eren and Levi’s relationship a bit better.

Artwork of Yoosung I did for MM Zine! Guess I’m going to draw the whole crew, V is next!

MBTI Simulator

Hello everyone! So, I have mentioned this project called MBTI Simulator a couple times on Ao3, and I’ve decided to update on my progress here on Tumblr before I have a decent amount of work done on this project. Once I have made 25% progress, I will create a separate website for MBTI Simulator.

MBTI Simulator is a visual novel-style roleplaying strategy game I’ve been working on (slowly) since August. It is set in the medieval fantasy world of Terras, in a powerful, but politically degenerating country called Kaneos.

There are a total of 32 characters (technically 16) you can play. Each Myers-Briggs type has two characters, one male and one female, with the same backstory. As one of these characters, you make choices to develop one of your four cognitive functions and set yourself apart from others of the same type.

MBTI Simulator is just that: a simulator. You play a character of any type and you “get to know” that type better by seeing how the characters think and make choices. There are two main routes you can take as that character: normal and leadership. The normal route is just for you to roll with and see what’s what, and maybe dabble in a romance. The leadership route would be unlocked by a certain set of choices you make, and your character will be dragged deep into the political conflict as a participant. In the leadership route, you will have choices less based on your personality, but rather strategy.

In both routes, you will have different romance options for all 16 types. However, romance is not intended to be the main focus (hence why I don’t label this as an otome game).

Wondering how to tell your friends about “Women of Xal” but there’s no easy place to gather information? Well we’re here to fix that with a reblog-ready post! (Kickstarter link here!)

SO WHAT IS “WOMEN OF XAL” ANYWAYS?!

“Women of Xal” is an otome visual novel currently live on Kickstarter. You assume the role of Xjena, who, along with five other girls, will be campaigning against each other to lay claim to a political position of power in a Matriarchal society. An all male harem comes free with your victory. An official trailer and playable demo is available right in the front of our Kickstarter page!

SO HOW DO YOU WIN THE CAMPAIGN FOR POWER?

There’s several ways to do this (or outright fail at it.) You can either play through the game as a benevolent friend to everyone and decide you don’t want the power that badly, or you can be ruthless and throw everyone you can under the bus. And there’s plenty middleground to go around. However, everything has a consequence, and there’s no easy ‘right or wrong’ answer to situations that become increasingly grey and complex.

BUT CAN I ROMANCE THE GIRL IN THAT GIF?!

Velvet (the girl in the gif!) is romanceable! Because you can make Xjena gay, straight, bi, poly, or ace! It all depends on your own preferences. There are 5 ladies to choose from, and five guys, with more on the way thanks to Kickstarter backers making romanceable OCs.

WILL THERE BE NUDITY/SEXUAL SOUNDS?

Not planned, and if happen to get a flood of requests for it, there will be an option to opt-out of said content altogether.

I CAN’T AFFORD TO BACK YOUR KICKSTARTER. HOW ELSE CAN I HELP?

If you hit that reblog button, you basically play a key role in saving my life. You can also play the demo and talk to us about it in my inbox or on our subreddit!
