vintage stereo console

Craigslist Find

A reader from Michigan shared this newly acquired ultra-stylish gem! What a beaut! It’s a 1967 GE Model C521. Purchased from the original owner’s estate with all manuals and accessories. A big congrats!

This is my vintage 1965 Magnavox stereo console with a Micromatic Record Player.
She actually automatically plays records and I also installed an aux chord so I can listen to music on my phone as well.
I restored her back to her current condition, and she still has some scratches and dents I’ll eventually have to sand out, but she sounds amazing.

Also it makes vinyl dates a lot of fun!

Thrift Store Finds

Came across this vintage GE Record Player\Radio Console at the thrift store. Not exactly the design I prefer, but just pointing out that every once in a while, you may find what you’re looking for.

This one has a sticker price of $29.99. Hope she finds a nice home!

(At the Savers in San Jose…call (408) 448-4380 to see if it’s still there.)

I’ve always wanted a mid-century style sideboard\credenza in my home. While strolling around the Alameda Point Antiques Faire, I came upon this stylish Airline Series Stereo Console with 8-Track Player, AM-FM Receiver & Record Player by Montgomery Ward. Thanks to our friends at the Mid-Century Møbler, I now have a cool conversation piece sitting in my living room!
