We’re moving into OUR OWN PERSONAL HOUSE today and tomorrow, so I am not gonna be around Tumblr much! But. OWN PERSONAL HOUSE THAT WE OWN.

This is the hideous wallpaper of which I complained. Up close, like this, it kind of looks okay. An entire room of it, combined with mustard-yellow curtains and honest-to-god vintage fifties frosted glass lampshades? UGH UGH UGH NO.

Audivox reel-to-reel tape player, 1960s. Not major electronics company Audiovox which also made reel-to-reel players, mind you, Audivox.

I haven’t seen any information about the company but every eBay listing for products by this company uses the word “rare” in the title, whether that’s true from a number of units that were produced standpoint or whether they mean that luggable reel players are uncommon today.
