When the Consolidated Record Corporation took over Emerson’s recording operations in 1926, they converted to electrical recording, but continued the same 3000 matrix series that Emerson used to supply recordings for Grey Gull. Thus, any matrix numbers higher than 3876 are electrical recordings (beginning with 3877).
