It wasn’t a championship game, but it sure felt like it. An illustrious 20 year career that saw Kobe hoist that trophy 5 times came to an end on April 13, 2016. In vintage Kobe fashion, he seized control of a game that seemed to be out of reach at several points throughout the night. 50 shots, 60 points and a win is what Kobe got for his efforts. You can’t really say enough about Kobe’s competitiveness or the passion he showcased for us season after season. Perhaps no words could sufficiently detail what he meant to the game of basketball. In fact, the only words I have for Black Mamba is, “Thank you”.
