Was at a car show a few weeks ago and the sun was so bright these pics are off center. But here is an immaculate 1969 big block Camaro Super Sport with the Z22 Rally Sport option. All of that 300+ horsepower was mated to an automatic transmission (probably a turbo-400). Nicely-optioned car with the D90 “hockey stick” striping, the Rally Sport package, a 396 big block, cowl hood, gauge cluster on the console, N66 optional rims and a handsome vinyl roof.
1969 Rally Sport Camaro with a factory 396. This car would put out 325, 350 or 375 horsepower. This car is an automatic, but she still looks aggressive and fast. Note the rally striping and you can barely see where the cowl induction hood mates to the air cleaner. Nicely optioned car!
1968 Rally Sport / Super Sport Camaro in “Matador Red” GM paint and she’s swinging an L78 396 big block with 375 factory horsepower. This girl also has a Muncie 4-speed. Notice the “deluxe” interior (wood grain dash and there is seat trim), upgraded steering wheel as well as the console gauges and “bumble bee” striping. What a daily driver this car would be! I spy a row of Corvettes out the windshield. Oh my, is that a ‘67 Pace Car next to her?
