Here is a fuller view of the Background I designed for the pristine 1944 Sugarman lake house w/ the Jimmy Dorsal record playing in the foreground.

I love designing subtle wallpapers for the show.  In the Sugarman house, I designed a wallpaper with horseshoes and acorns.  Acorns are poisonous to horses … so I felt it added a hidden layer of doom and sadness to this house and some of the toxic things that happened here.

“A person does not hear sound only through the ears;
he hears sound through every pore of his body.
It permeates the entire being,
and according to its particular influence either slows
or quickens the rhythm of the blood circulation;
it either wakens or soothes the nervous system.
It arouses a person to greater passions
or it calms him by bringing him peace.
According to the sound and its influence
a certain effect is produced.”

Out of context some of my Dice Funk fan art must be so confusing.
For example, is that a jellyfish with socks on?

Characters from season 3 of Dice Funk.
Pssst I have a Dice Funk Twitter!

This Marc by Marc Jacobs dress became infamous for ending up on the floor of a burlesque club, but let’s not forget the strings of pearls and embellished headband that were originally meant to create a classy girl who could wear Cornelius Vanderbilt’s diamond ring. Personally, I prefer the Blair that ended up at Victrola. {s1e07 - Victor Victrola}
