    Infant or toddler’s dress, mid 19th century. Made of fine yellow wool with green piping around the sleeves. The interior of the bodice is lined with white cotton, so the wool wouldn’t scratch the child’s skin (the legs would be covered by petticoats, so the skirt is unlined.) The bodice is boned, just like in an adult garment.
