vey

Wait don’t freak out people, this has NOTHING to do with the Disney live action movie… But I’m really excited to see this vey different take on this story! So much beauty and the beast this next two years! Go to google and look up the trailer, looks incredible! Here is some info on the movie:

Beauty and the Beast (La Belle La Bete), the live-action French version of the beloved story directed by Christophe Gans, is getting a theatrical release in the U.S. on Sept. 23, 2016 in select movie theaters.

This version of the classic story is set in 1810 and stars Vincent Cassel (Jason Bourne, Black Swan) and Léa Seydoux (Spectre, Blue Is the Warmest Color) with André Dussollier (A Very Long Engagement, Amélie). Produced by Eskwad and Pathé, the film is a modern take on classic French fairytale.

Finally got my own copy of Naruto Gaiden! wooooh! 🎊 Naruto’s one-volume side story which features bb girl Sarada as the main character. Chapters came out weekly in Japan on April last year. I was so excited to read more about the new gen kids since the manga ended - Oct. 2014. I was expecting humor, and action scenes, and that I’ll finally be able to see my fave ship since 8th grade interact as a couple and as parents to their baby girl. I was really happy! But, oh, was i in for a surprise… Chapter 1 has got me crying bitter tears long after reading it. I was in the office and I was lucky to have decided to work alone in a room that day. This side story turned out to be a drama – a telenovela-like series of finding out who a girl’s real parents are, who she really is, who she wants to become. Of all things, I was not expecting that. Turns out Sasuke iss an absent father, then Sarada finds out things that make her doubt that Sakura’s her real mother. That was so messed up, I felt really bad for the girls. Good thing the humor’s still there. Sarada’s stuck with her friend Cho-cho who is a diva in every way. I love her. Reading this every week made me ride a roller coaster of emotions, laughing at one time, crying at another, or staring in amazement the next time. There was a lot of twists that I was bothered if it would end in a neat knot. Though the resolution with the antagonist felt rushed, and there were things that weren’t clearly explained, I’d still say it was a nice story. Lol… Kidding! It was great!!! One chapter left and I was still in a devastated state because of that DNA test that matched Sarada to another woman, Karin (who I found bitchy the first time she apeared in the story years ago, a tsundere character who flirts with Sasuke when they’re alone). My boyfie read the last chapter first and he was like, “lol, don’t cry while reading it, ok?” He knew I was going to. Out of happiness or out of sadness, I didn’t know. And so i braced myself for what was coming , but nothing could have prepared me for that ending. That chapter was a bomb! Every page got me crying! Had I been alone in the house I would have been bawling and screaming out of happiness. I could not stop myself. I was sobbing, and sniffing, and putting my tissues to good use. It was not just a happy ending. It was a very, very, VERY HAPPY ending. Everything was put in place, everyone was happy. Okay, not everything and most certainly not everyone. But most of all, I was happy. I knew my ship was going to sail! 💗 So, yeah. That’s why I made sure to get my own copy of this story. I have so many feelings for this manga ‘cos I’ve been a fan since I was practically the same age as Naruto in season 1, and now I’m turning 26. Okay, enough rant, back to reading, and laughing, and sobbing, and…yeah… I’m just so happy 😂
