very easy nail art tutorial

Colorful Tape Mani Tutorial

1) apply white polish for the base.
2) use a sponge to dab different colors onto your white base once it’s already dry. Neon colors are really nice for this design.
3) stick on striping tapes depending how you want your design to look like.
4) apply black polish to totally cover the different colors.
5) quickly but carefully remove the tapes immediately while the black polish is still very fresh. Apply topcoat and clean up.

Easy but tricky!

Summer pineapple nail art tutorial by elleandish

Very cute and easy look! I had some issues with the glitter topcoat from Sally Hansen, though. I’m not sure if it was just my bottle, but the formula was so thick (and I don’t mean glitter-wise) that I got tons of bubbles in that nail. On the other hand, because the formula was so thick, I didn’t even need a coat of Gelous to smooth out the gritty glitter texture, haha.

  • Alpine Snow - OPI (white)
  • I Just Can’t Cope-acabana - OPI (yellow)
  • Dive In - Sally Hansen Triple Shine (blue teal)
  • Lickety-Split Lime - Sally Hansen Insta-Dri (green)
  • Sorbet - Revlon (orange)
  • Blue Moonlight - Sally Hansen Big Glitter Top Coat (blue/silver glitter)
  • white striper - Sally Hansen (I <3 Nail Art collection - BTW, I don’t recommend this to anyone! The brush is so short, and mine had the worst formula!)
