Hi there! I have a question! Laces up the back of waistcoats and weskits --is this a thing? I see it all the time at reenacting events, but never in patterns. It would certainly make my life easier as I sew!
Yes, it is a thing! What I see (according to patterns and garments) is that not all waistcoats used them, but it is a very useful detail for fitting the garment the way you want it or to adjust it to a different body or weight change.
