So I finally got to see my all time favorite band (the killers) on thursday night and it was everything I thought it’d be and more. Brandon Flowers was absolutely spectacular. He was so kind and lovely and he was so enthusiastic and he really got the crowd hyped up. He continuously communicated with us and he was just so happy to be with his fans he made us feel like family. Brandon was so active and he kept his energy throughout the whole concert (which lasted HOURS) and he didn’t stay still the whole time (these were some of the few good photos I managed to get). He always had a smile on his face and he gestured out the lyrics to his songs and he was just so animated it was unbelievable. He kept us laughing and cheering and I was definitely not disappointed. He kept singing even when the concert shouldve been long done because he said he “owes us so much more” and he said he wanted to give us everything he could offer. He brought out the opening band (the virgins) and they performed a cover for us. Every time we thought the concert would be over he’d come back out and say “one more song I promise”. His band mates were lovely and he gave them a chance to communicate with the crowd as well. At one point, his guitar wasn’t working but he was so nice about it and didn’t chastise the stage managers and while he was getting a replacement the band members just extended the beginning to the song. He was so sweet and kind and it was unbelievable. Towards the end he reached out to the crowd and i managed to touch his hand after bustling through a bunch of people blocking my way (and accidentally hitting someone in the head) and he gave me a smile and laughed. Needless to say, i freaked out for hours afterwards. Out of the tons of concerts I’ve been to, this one was definitely my favorite.
