vegetarian organic restaurants

from a conversation between myself and @ultramarcypan

  • atsushi is a pastry chef.  all those crepes aren’t gonna make themselves.
  • kunikida has Big Plans for owning his own restaurant someday and is probably one of those irritating pretentious “””””””””small plate””””””””””” people
  • yosano is the best goddamn mixologist this side of town
  • chuuya and dazai were in the same culinary school and worked at the same restaurant for years as flawless partners
  • until that TRAITOR dazai left to work a cushy job in a family-owned place across town
  • it’s a local Japanese place run by the president; he keeps a fish tank out front and anyone is allowed to feed them
  • kyouka was probably one of those kids on masterchef junior and shows like that. SCARILY GOOD KNIFE SKILLS.  she cried when she overseasoned her potatoes.
  • chuuya is probably insufferable as a chef lbr.  he has EXTREMELY specific opinions about which wine should be paired with which dish and hardcore judges any patron that doesn’t take his suggestions
  • ranpo is a food blogger that can make or break you
  • his favorite things are desserts, but he’s super picky about how sweet they should be
  • his fuckin drag of kunikida was so detailed and elegant that it wraps around and becomes a rousing endorsement to the hipster community
  • kenji’s family has a vegetarian restaurant and organically grows all their own produce
  • akutagawa wants to perfectly emulate everything dazai does
  • but dazai subtly manipulates him into a concentration he actually enjoys…like cake decorating
  • CAKE BOSS AKUTAGAWA
  • he’s such a fucking diva nothing would get done without higuchi, who actually runs the shop and is in charge of interacting with people, because akutagawa has difficulties
  • akutagawa turns his nose up at anything less complicated than the cakes he makes every day….until dazai convinces him to get breakfast at the creperie where atsushi works
  • TWO BAKERIES, BOTH ALIKE IN DIGNITY / IN FAIR YOKOHAMA WHERE WE LAY OUR SCENE
  • the end
