Planning to lose weight? Eat kale to help you achieve your goal. 

As you may know, in order to lose weight, you must lower the amount of food intake to burn off the excess fat around your belly. However, this means you may not have enough nutrition to maintain a healthy body. This would result in poor exercise performance and instead of wasting your money on those multi-vitamins supplements, try kale instead as a cheaper and better alternative.

Kale is considered to be a superfood, as it is one of the most nutrition-dense types of food in the world. It is very high in vitamins A, K, and C. Furthermore, kale also contains a large portion of antioxidants, omega-3, and calcium. Because of its high nutritional content and variety, this extra-powerful vegetable can replace your multi-vitamin supplement when you go through the weight loss process.

The ForkOut team will present you with this easy “Baked Kale Chip” recipe as a healthy snack alternative.

What you need

- 4 cups of kale (stem removed)

- 1 tbsp of olive oil

- 1 tsp of salt and pepper (or a seasoning of your choice)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 200 degree celsius and place the baking paper on the tray

2. Cut the kale into small or bite sizes

3. Mix the kale, olive oil, salt and pepper in a large bowl or ziplock bag

4. Place the kale mix on the tray and bake for 10 -15 minutes until crispy.

Now, you have a tasty snack to eat instead of potatoes chip, and its extremely healthy!!
