Vicious Engine 2 to Support NGP

D3Publisher’s Vicious Cycle Software, which is a premier developer of interactive entertainment and game development technology, today announced that their Vicious Engine 2 (Ve2) will be supporting Sony’s Next Generation Portable (NGP). The NGP’s upcoming launch will make Ve2 one of the most complete cross platform solutions available in game development.

The easy-to-learn and adaptable Vicious Engine suite has been used to design games of every style. This includes adventures/platformers such as Dead Head Fred to minis. It also offers a range of bite-sized downloadable games for the PSP including Young Thor and Freekscape: Escape from Hell. It has also been used for casual games like Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords.

The Vicious Engine 2 was first introduced in March 2009 and is used in the side-scrolling shooter Matt Hazard: Blood, Bath, and Beyond, Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon, and Despicable Me: The Game.
