Meet Jenny, the lead singer and killer babe behind indie-band Dirty Dishes. This girl has been making some noise in the Boston scene for the last decade, but has transplanted herself into my hometown, Los Angeles! I fell in love with this girl’s music and obvious shared taste in style fairly recently (she’s killing it in those red Authentics), and totally felt the need to introduce you all to her pure AWESOMENESS. Check out why you need to know about Jenny, and her band Dirty Dishes. -brittany

It may be 100 degrees outside, but I’ve already got my mind on Fall. This week I just got my hands on some killer new Vans Fall 2013 gear, and I’m so excited to shoot some fun looks for you all. I’m crushing pretty hard on all the rad pullovers, including the Love Vans sweater. Cold weather… where are you when I actually want you!? -brittany

With the sticky summer heat bathing the city, I find myself wishing for cooler fall days. So till then, I’ll turn the air conditioning on, put on my favorite plaids and sweaters, and pretend like it’s October. -brittany

Vans painted the city of Boston red last Friday as we celebrated the opening of the DQM General store. The babes came out to play in their best Vans and dug the tunes of California skater / rad musician Ray Barbee. Along with meeting some fellow Sk8-Hi obsessors, I even had a chance to see some shoes that I just HAVE to cop sooner than later! If you’re in the Boston area, be sure to check out the new DQM General store, my new favorite thing about this city. -brittany

One of my favorite things to wear is a great baby-doll dress and a pair of killer Sk8-His. The juxtaposition of girly meets tomboy-chic is just way too perfect! It’s a bummer that it’s about to be freezing cold soon…I’m sure going to miss rocking a good mini dress. -brittany

One of the greatest things about living in Boston is the fact that I live so close to one of the most fantastic flea markets! If you’re a Massachusetts native or have visited the state during this time of year, you’re well aware of the Brimfield Antique Show. Like me, you have probably fallen in love with all its’ glory. Knowing all the walking I’d be doing, I pulled on my most comfortable shoes; My Tiger Authentics. Venturing around I found the most AMAZING owl statue. I definitely left a happy girl. If you’re ever here during The Field, be sure to check it out! -brittany

On the girls last day in Boston,  Leila and Amanda made their way to my office to shoot some super awesome goodies I can’t wait to share with you! There was jumping, their was pretending to know how to put makeup on, and tons of my favorite Spring 2013 pieces! Stay tuned… -brittany

I’m probably going to sound like a total broken record right about now next to Amanda’s post about the aquarium, but I too had a KILLER time hanging with the girls in Boston! I thought I liked all the Vans girls via the internet, but actually getting to hang out with Leila, Amanda, and Alyson in person made me love them even more. Come back to Boston, guys! The city isn’t the same without you! -brittany

The Vans DQM store has finally opened up in Boston, which means Newbury Street just got a little cooler. From my forever loved Port Royale Sk8-Hi’s, to an entire collection of Disney Vans, this store has made me feel like I’m finally home! Stay tuned for more photos of some super rad adventures to the Boston DQM store, while I sprinkle in some killer Vans street style, because now that the store has opened, you KNOW things are about to get real. -brittany

Since the weather has been above 50 degrees lately I’ve been getting in some major wear time with my Speckled Vans Authentics. Whether I casually pair them with jeans and a t-shirt, or a mini-dress or maxi skirt, these shoes have been making a daily appearance in my wardrobe this Spring. I also can NOT get enough of my new favorite handbag, the Vans Breakers bag. -brittany

I may be in Boston, but I’m sure feeling the California vibes with these Vans California Checkered Authentics. With a vintage looking print, leather lace, and the most comfortable sole ever, I feel as though I’m mere walking distance from Venice Beach. -brittany

After a visit to the DQM General Boston store, I was IMMEDIATELY struck with the urge to buy every single shoe in sight. Now, I know I’m not alone when I say this, but I would much rather take a pair of really amazing Sk8-Hi’s over designer heels ANY day. Am I right? I fell head-over-heels with these rad Suede Sk8-Hi’s in Port Royale, and have refused to take them off! They literally go with everything, including my favorite vintage jumper! Grab yourself a pair, and be prepared to be obsessed! -brittany

Oh hey there Boston… I forgot about all the mega-babes you’ve got running around your streets. I found this stylish lady walking around Boston Common this weekend in her killer get-up and even more amazing Acid Wash Eras-brittany

The days are becoming shorter, the need to layer is becoming a small necessity, and I’m beginning to have summer withdraws as I start to realize that cold weather is just around the corner. Do you feel my pain? So I’ve been forcing myself to enjoy every single second I have of this summer warmth, while taking full advantage of being able to wear shorts with my Checkered Sk8-Hi Wedges. -brittany
