Wanted fish & chips, and really would prefer Pajo’s, but I didn’t want to eat and inhale smoke at the same time so we went to Cockney’s, and I had a seafood platter with 1 big piece of cod, 3 prawns, and 2 oysters. I like how their batter is crispy enough but my plate was very oily. The cod was nice and flaky and the prawns and oysters seemed fresh, but Pajo’s still the best fish & chips in my opinion because of their light and non-oily batter.

Let’s see what we have here… A deep fried chicken clubhouse biscuit, a house salad for the healthy, a spicy pulled pork biscuit in the back, and a refreshingly tart hipster jar of lemonade on the side #perfect #summer #brunch #portland #roadtrip #tbt #vancity #foodie #vanfoodie #travels #foodcoma And yes, that guy in the back is wearing shiny PJs 😂👌 (at Pine State Biscuits)
