That’s what the boys stumbled in on when they
arrived at the Vampire nest.
It wasn’t the first time they’d had a hunt go to
shit, but this one was… different.
Inside the warehouse was a lone Huntress. She was
covered in blood, glasses askew, swinging a machete and slicing off heads as if
she were born for the job. At least, up until the vamps overwhelmed her, one of
them successfully tearing into her arm while another got their talon-like nails
into the soft flesh on her belly.
That was the point where things started getting
The Huntress staggered, but didn’t fall, and while
her guard was down a biker-wannabe went for her throat. But he never made it.
Some invisible force slammed into him, knocking him
the ground. Large gashes appeared from nowhere on his neck, and moments later
his head was efficiently removed from the rest of him.
Now that got the Nest’s attention.
Heads rolled once again as the girl got her
composure back, her blade now in her uninjured arm, a fire glowing in her eyes
as she downed another two Vamps.
Four remained, but another was soon ousted by
seemingly nothing just as the pair of them pulled out of their
bewildered state and leapt into action, slicing through skin and bone like
The last one standing lunged for the Huntress out
of sheer desperation, and clear stupidity. Sam intercepted, slamming into the
girl and sending her crashing to the concrete ground and skidding couple of
feet. The pain on her face was evident, and a whimper escaped her lips as her
injured arm connected with the floor.
With the whole Nest dealt with, the brother’s
turned their attention to the wounded girl, but they barely moved an inch
towards her before Sam was bowled over.
