John Cena, while you lay there, hopefully as uncomfortable as you possibly can be, I want you to listen to me. I want you to digest this, because before I leave in three weeks with your WWE Championship, I have a lot of things I wanna get off my chest.

I don’t hate you, John. I don’t even dislike you. I like you a hell of a lot more than I like most people in the back. I hate… this idea… that you’re the best… because you’re not. I’m the best. I’m the best in the world. There’s one thing you’re better at than I am, and that’s kissing Vince McMahon’s ass. You’re as good at kissing Vince’s ass as Hulk Hogan was. I don’t know if you’re as good as Dwayne… he’s a pretty good ass-kisser… always was and still is. Oops… I’m breaking the fourth wall. [Punk waves to the camera.] I am the best… wrestler… in the world. I’ve been the best ever since Day One when I walked into this company, and I’ve been vilified and hated since that day because Paul Heyman saw something in me that nobody else wanted to admit. That’s right, I’m a Paul Heyman guy. You know who else was a Paul Heyman guy? Brock Lesnar… and he split, just like I’m splittin’, but the biggest difference between me and Brock is that I’m going to leave with the WWE Championship.

I’ve grabbed so many of Vincent K. McMahon’s imaginary brass rings that it’s finally dawned on me that they’re just that. They’re completely imaginary. The only thing that’s real is me, and the fact that day in and day out, for almost six years, I’ve proved to everybody in the world that I am the best on this microphone, in that ring, and even on commentary. Nobody can touch me. And yet, no matter how many times I prove it, I’m not on your lovely little collectors’ cups, I’m not on the cover of the program, I’m barely promoted, I don’t get to be in movies, I’m not on any crappy show on the USA Network, I’m not on the poster of WrestleMania, I’m not on the signature that’s produced at the start of the show. I’m not on Conan O’Brian, I’m not on Jimmy Fallon, but the fact of the matter is I should be, and trust me, this isn’t sour grapes, but the fact that “Dwayne” is in the main event of WrestleMania next year and I’m not makes me sick!

Oh hey, let me get something straight, those of you who are cheering me right now… you are just as big a part of me leaving as anyone else, because you’re the ones sipping out of those collector cups right now, you’re the ones that buy those programs that my face isn’t on the cover of, and then at five in the morning at the airport, you try to shove it in my face thinking you can get an autograph and sell it on eBay because you’re too lazy to get a real job.

I’m leaving with the WWE championship on July 17 and hell, who knows, maybe I’ll go defend it in New Japan Pro Wrestling… maybe I’ll go back to Ring of Honor…  hey, Colt Cabana, how you doing? The reason I’m leaving is you people because after I’m gone you’re still going to pour money into this company — I’m just a spoke on the wheel — the wheel’s gonna keep turning. And I understand that… that Vince McMahon’s gonna make money despite himself… he’s a millionaire who should be a billionaire… you know why he’s not a billionaire? It’s because he surrounds himself with glad-handing nonsensical  yes-men like John Lauranitis, who’s gonna tell him everything he wants to hear… and I’d like to think that maybe this company will be better after Vince McMahon is dead, but the fact is it’s gonna get taken over by his idiotic daughter and his doofus son-in-law and the rest of his stupid family.

Let me tell you a personal story about Vince McMahon. You know we do this whole bully campaign…

15 Times We Wished Donna and Harvey Could Be Together on Suits.

POSTED ON 8/1/16 on Suits Usa Network.

Suitors have so much to love about Suits, but one thing that has gotten fans excited over the years is the relationship of Darvey.

Watching Donna (Sarah Rafferty) and Harvey (Gabriel Macht), it’s easy to wish they would finally get together. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but check out some of the best moments that left us shipping Darvey so hard.

1. When Harvey showed up for closing night at Donna’s play. She didn’t think he would even care about it, and he not only showed up, but he also brought flowers and told her that she was the only thing he had going on that night. We swooned.

2. After Harvey got a case against Donna thrown out on trumped-up charges, he went over to her apartment to celebrate with some wine. The two reminisced about the past (oh, how we wish we could’ve seen Harvey spit that shrimp across the room!) – which was exactly what Donna needed. And at the end of the night, when he told her, “You know I love you, Donna,” our hearts absolutely melted.

3. Actually, whenever these two visit the other’s apartment, we know it’s going to be a tender and emotional moment that will have Darvey shippers begging for a happily-ever-after future once and for all.

4. When Harvey finally admitted to Donna “You and Stephen – it bothers me.”

5. All of the times that Harvey has said, hinted, or otherwise shown that Donna is irreplaceable and that he’d be lost without her.

6. Whenever Donna has to adjust Harvey’s tie, smooth his suit, or fix his hair.

7. Donna can get super-sassy with Harvey and we always love that. But we will never forget the time she told him, “If you were ever lucky enough to have me, you wouldn’t want to share.”

8. Two words: can opener.

9. When Harvey realized just how integral Donna is to his success and told her, “I don’t want to find out what type of lawyer I’d be without you.” Knowing that the best closer in New York can’t imagine his success without Donna makes us love them even more.

10. When Donna told Harvey that she slapped Hardman, and he proudly asked how it felt. That was a special bonding moment!

11. Whenever Donna is sitting at Harvey’s desk because she loves that power position.

12. The time Harvey went to visit Donna at home to convince her to return to work for him and he told her, “I can’t be me without you.” Try and tell us there was a more perfect moment than that!

13. When Harvey stood up to Donna’s dad by threatening to shut down Jim’s business if Donna somehow got involved in a shady deal – but it didn’t stop Harvey from helping Jim years later.

14. Every single time he watches her leave his office.

15. When Donna says she has faith in Harvey’s ability to help Mike. Seriously, what’s sexier than having someone believe in you?

One of the reasons that I would love a season two is because when the fuck do you see actors be this thankful for the jobs they have????
Like honestly, they’ve been vocal about their love for their characters and the filming and the stories and the fans etc…
It’s magical to watch a human be so excited about what they do - and this show is brilliant.
They deserve another season, for the characters and the actors.
All together one of the best, most unpredictable viewing experiences.
Thank you Tyler & James. 🙌

#OnTheRunHBO Tour: Beyonce & Jay Z debuts in September, exclusively on HBO

ON THE RUN TOUR: BEYONCÉ AND JAY Z,
PRESENTING THEIR FIRST COLLABORATIVE TOUR,
DEBUTS IN SEPTEMBER, EXCLUSIVELY ON HBO

LOS ANGELES, July 10, 2014 – ON THE RUN TOUR: BEYONCÉ AND JAY Z,
featuring the superstars in their first collaborative tour – and their first HBO concert event – will debut in September, it was announced today by Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming. Taping September 12 and 13 at Stade de France in Paris on the only international leg of their current tour, the special will feature the superstars performing
more than 40 songs.

“This is a major musical event that belongs on HBO,” noted Lombardo. “It’s going to be a night to remember.”
Although 17-time Grammy winner Beyoncé and 19-time Grammy winner JAY Z have recorded numerous hit songs together, including “Crazy in Love” and “Drunk in
Love,” and have been special guests on each other’s tours, ON THE RUN TOUR: BEYONCÉ AND JAY Z marks the first time the married couple has toured together on the same bill. The tour covers 19 stadiums in the U.S. and two stadium shows in Paris.

USA Today said of the tour, which began June 26 in Miami, “The coordination is not just remarkable, it’s the absolute best way that two of the world’s best performers can deliver a show that proves why they are on top together,” while the New York Times hailed it as “a show that acknowledged their two very different sorts of success without diminishing either one.”

Beyoncé is currently appearing on HBO in “BEYONCÉ: X10,” a ten-episode series of concert performances debuting Sunday nights before “True Blood”; she was previously seen on the network in the intimate feature-length documentary “Life Is But a Dream,”
which debuted in Feb. 2013. JAY Z’s “Picasso Baby: A Performance Art Film” had its world premiere on HBO in Aug. 2013.

Some Swan Queen ramblings...

I’m a bit too much of a pessimistic (realistic?) person to ever believe that Swan Queen will become a reality on the show. I don’t believe A&E or the network has the balls to go there, even though for all intents and purposes, they were “there” from, like, the pilot and passed the marker for Gaytown USA back in Season 1. But their continued insistence on squandering the best, most obvious thing to come out of this show is idiotic at best and downright fucking criminal at worst.

If they’re trying to paint grand ideas of true love - after all, the show was based off the story of Snow and Charming’s True Love and that “I will always find you” bit from the very beginning and we’ve seen various incarnations in different pairings ever since - then Emma and Regina are truly the most obvious true love couple there is. That connection and that evolution has happened so naturally and effortlessly that it makes the contrived shit with CS stick out like a sore thumb.

Emma’s first kiss with Hook was borne out of grieving over the loss of Neal, the panic of having lost her son and the need to shut the pirate up. Wow, please, dial back the romance! Hook has repeatedly treated Emma like shit, preyed on her weaknesses and thrown them in her face and threatened to kill her and everyone she loves when it suited him, which… uh? In spite of that, we’re meant to believe they have ~true love~ because she went to hell for him and pushed him out of the way of some fire or some shit? (I literally barely remember that scene because it was so ridiculous.)

Meanwhile, Emma and Regina are written basically as soulmates of the highest order. There are the obvious, physical things - their connection via thier son, via the curse, the whole “Savior & Evil Queen” trope - but there are also those ridiculously impossible things that become possible only with them. How their magic intertwines perfectly to become powerful enough to move the fucking moon. How they know intrinsically when the other is lying, hurt, in trouble. How Emma vowed to give Regina her happy ending, no matter what. How she TOOK ON THE ULTIMATE DARKNESS for her. How they stare at each other for long moments, dart their eyes when the other is around their cardboard love interest, how even Snow and Charming are like “?????” whenever Regina and Emma are together because hello, they’re so gay for each other.

There’s the fact that while adopting Henry softened Regina’s heart, it was Emma who changed it completely, who made Regina realize that there is goodness in being good. Regina gave Emma all of her memories, every last one of them and I don’t for one second think that receiving them didn’t come with such an overwhelming sense of love and adoration, regardless of how veiled, from Regina. There’s the fact that whenever Regina realizes that Emma is there for her perpetually and without question, the look that comes over her face is so heartbreakingly shocked, because someone she holds in such high regard looks at her the very same way and sees the value in her. There’s the fact that Emma is worth fighting against giving into the darkness that consumed her for so many years.

But uh, I guess it’s cool that Hook told Emma she’s worthless and she’d always be an orphan and kinda didn’t give a shit that she dragged herself and everyone she loved to hell for him? I mean, that’s “love,” right?

guys i’m just going to say it again, if you haven’t watched EYEWITNESS yet, go watch it! It’s honestly on of the best shows of 2016, has great and lead LGBTQ characters with a damn good love story, it’s a kick ass crime solving drama, the most amazing strong female characters, it deals with foster care and PTSD and you honestly won’t regret it! So go give it a chance, the show is struggling with views and it honestly deserves all the views it can get!

You can watch it on USA NETWORK on Sundays, 10/9C (or pls just put it on as background noise), buy it on ITUNES or AMAZON!

You won’t regret it, promise!

Reign - A review of the complete first Season (Part I)

Before getting started with my actual review of this crazy first season, I thought best to explain a bit about who I am and why I believe myself worthy to share my point of view.

‘Cause yeah, let’s face it, I am a newbie in all things twitter and tumblr and any other crazy platforms I might still not know. I don’t have any followers and truly it is not my goal to get any.  I have seen the rise and fall of many, many TV Shows such as The Pretender, Roswell, Charmed, and ER.  I have spent most of my (way too short) teenage years defining the word “Fandom.”  I therefore consider myself (kind of) an “expert” in all things related to TV shows.  And yes, I do realize most of you don’t have a single idea who The Pretender is and were basically babies when I first rooted for a ship (at that time, we still called them “couples”, such an outdated word…), so if you don’t care for an oldie’s insight on a teenage TV show, this long rambling post isn’t for you.

19. Playing House

What about snacks? I feel like I’m gonna probably need a bunch of snacks

Imagine if Leslie Knope and Ann Perkins from Parks and Recreation moved in together and raised a baby together, laughter would be had, heart-strings would be tugged. Well essentially that kind of female BFF loving and hilarious relationship is at the heart of Playing House. Emma (Jessica St. Clair) moves in with her heavily pregnant best friend Maggie (Lennon Parham) after Maggie’s husband is caught cheating. The result is a charming comedy that like many shows on my Best of list needs a much bigger audience than it has.

The two women at the centre of the show have worked together previously in the one season Best Friends Forever and they have such great chemistry together. Playing House is also full of great supporting characters like Mark (Keegan-Michael Key who has had a great year on TV).

The USA Network took a long long time renewing Playing House for a second season but one is coming in 2015 and thank god for that because there is something simple and lovely about this show. Watch it.
