Halfway down the trail to Hell,
In a shady meadow green
Are the Souls of all dead troopers camped,
Near a good old-time canteen.
And this eternal resting place
Is known as Fiddlers’ Green.
Marching past, straight through to Hell
The Infantry are seen.
Accompanied by the Engineers,
Artillery and Marines,
For none but the shades of Cavalrymen
Dismount at Fiddlers’ Green.
Though some go curving down the trail
To seek a warmer scene.
No trooper ever gets to Hell
Ere he’s emptied his canteen.
And so rides back to drink again
With friends at Fiddlers’ Green.
And so when man and horse go down
Beneath a saber keen,
Or in a roaring charge of fierce melee
You stop a bullet clean,
And the hostiles come to get your scalp,
Just empty your canteen,
And put your pistol to your head
And go to Fiddlers’ Green.

A lot of people have been asking me so here it goes!!

Loft 89 Cleveland show story -

Loft 89
I ended up going to the concert alone. I had a ticket for the bstage Pit. When I got there I decided to choose the right side bstage Pit as it was the one most empty and I decided to stand toward the back as there were a bunch of children and I’m 5'11".  About twenty minutes before Vance joy took the stage, Taylors dancer Giuseppe and Nolan approached me saying hi and telling me I looked like Katy Perry. They looked familiar so I asked who they were and they just smiled. Then I asked if they were Taylors dancers and they smiled. Giuseppe then asked if he could take a selfie with me on his phone and I said only if I could get one too!  They left and Vance Joy started. He was amazing! After he was done I noticed Mama Swift had started bringing people from the upper sections down to the floor right next to where I was! The people in front of me talked to Mama Swift for a little bit but I was afraid of bothering her so I just gave her a quick smile. Taylor finally came on with Welcome to New York and it was amazingggg! The next few songs I noticed Mama Swift coming and going bringing more people down to the floor. Finally at the end of I know places and the beginning of I knew You were trouble I turned around and saw Andrea standing there alone, so I asked for a quick hug and she asked if I was alone. I probably asked for like ten more hugs before we actually talked. She asked if I was alone again and I said yeah, I was going to the show in Pittsburgh on Saturday but I work here at the Q and bought a ticket last minute and had no one to go with. She asked me more about myself and asked if this was my first show and I said no, but it was the first one I’d been to this tour and it was already my favorite! By this point I had missed the awesome sultry intro to I knew you were trouble and now a Taylor nation person was standing with Andrea. She mentioned again the fact I was alone and I said it was really okay I was here to enjoy and support Taylor and not socialize. I can’t remember this conversation in full because I was shaking so hard with what was about to come next. Andrea looked at the Taylor nation lady and said “she came here all alone! No one should have to spend the night alone. You know what we need to do for her?” At this point the lady starts taking out a wristband and wrapping it around my wrist and writing something on it. Then Andrea said how would you like to go to loft 89? And I’m pretty sure I said something that wasn’t words. The Taylor nation lady then gave me the loft 89 pass with directions where to meet and I gave Andrea a big hug thanking her.

At the end of shake it off I ran to where we were supposed to all meet up and a couple of people from Taylor Nation were there waiting for us. (I think there was about 29 of us total.  I think maybe 7 groups including my group of one haha) They gave us instructions and basic rules. Take as many photos of the loft before Taylor comes in but once she’s in phones away until your photo time. No selfies, no vines, etc.

Then they led us into the Cavs practice court where loft 89 was set up. It was absolutely gorgeous! It was pretty tiny though,  like probably half the size I thought it would be. Inside was a photo booth, some old costumes of Taylor’s, pizza, cookies, water, coke and diet coke, two couches, and a TV playing the bad blood shake it off, and blank space music videos. Before Taylor came it they made our groups all spread out to make it easier for Taylor to make her way around. We were told each group gets one photo but each person could get an autograph. I was the second group and when Taylor saw me her face lit up and she said “HI girl, how are you?!” and went in for a huge hug. I told her I loved her and she looked so pretty. She then said I was soo pretty. Then we started talking about our height. I’m 5'11" and so is she and we were talking about how we are probably exactly the same height the the centimeter. Twinsies. Except she was wearing heels and hovering over me though. Then she pointed out the scarlet letter on my crop top and I said “it’s the scarlet letter!” and she was like OH MY GOD! And I jokingly said “trust me mine is better”. I told her how much I loved the reference and she was like “ I write about it a lot actually! I think it has something to do with high school English class!” so I told her a story about how I purposely dressed up as Hester prynne my senior year to piss off my teacher. She laughed and hugged me. Then she asked if I wanted anything signed so I gave her my loft 89 pass and she was like what’s your name?! And I said Katrina! And she was like with a C or K? And I said K, like the hurricane (another terrible joke haha)  and she let out a laugh and said OMG that’s so funny! Exactly!  And then the Taylor nation lady was like are you ready for a photo? And before I could think she put me in a bear hug and our photo was taken. We then made a joke about how we both ALWAYS blink in photos. Then She thanked me for staying so late after her show and I thanked her for having me. She said she loved me and went to the next group.

There are so many things I wish I would have said to her looking back, but it was definitely the most incredible moment of my life.
