I love Deckerstar...

But regardless of that, I also love the idea of Lucifer’s redemption, and him doing that through his exploration of humanity, as well as his self reflection. I love that him falling in love with Chloe is only a part of Lucifer’s story in finding his redemption, yet it also impacts his life greatly by pushing him towards that redemption.

I love that regardless of whether or not Deckerstar becomes official next season or 6 seasons after, Lucifer has still learned things from Chloe that he wouldn’t have learned in any other way. And he will keep growing in character because of the things he’s had to experience on Earth, and through the way Chloe speaks to him and challenges his way of thinking.

I love that we see just how much of an impact Lucifer’s relationship with his father has on Lucifer’s current state, and how their history greatly affects Lucifer’s decisions when he works on cases with Chloe. I love that ultimately God’s opinion of Lucifer matters, and God’s love/forgiveness is the one thing he needs to truly move on from the past so he can finally be with Chloe and accept she truly cares for him unconditionally.

I love that Linda has essentially used the same tool humans use to cope with life and death and the fear of the unknown and applied it to helping the one being labeled as evil and irredeemable, and taught him dozens of ways to help better himself. I love how Lucifer always comes around no matter how bullheaded he’s behaving at the time, how he eventually sees his errors and answers for his mistakes. How he tries to atone. I love how Lucifer’s tainted image has caused him to put a lot of value of the opinions of those that he cares for the most; he can’t stand to think that any of his friends or lovers would ever think poorly of him. And he certainly was heartbroken to learn that all those humans were only interested in him for the sex and nothing more, when all that time he was convinced they cared for him.

The inevitable romance between Lucifer and Chloe is not what leads Lucifer to his redemption. But rather, Lucifer’s redemption will lead us to the romance between Lucifer and Chloe. Each step Lucifer takes towards changing his ways, putting others before himself, self sacrifice, each epiphany, each revelation, each mistake fixed, helps Chloe to see Lucifer in a whole new light. Each time Chloe opens up to Lucifer, it makes him fall deeper in love, and it scares him. Eventually, these two will be able to take time alone, really alone, away from cases and celestial drama, and begin to work on a proper courtship with dating and long night pillow talks. Eventually Lucifer will rise above his fear of Chloe turning against him, a fear that he has thanks to his father, and show Chloe who he is, the devil. But there is a major roadblock.

Alas the words “I’m your son, and you rejected me.” we see here that Lucifer’s greatest hang up, or fear, is rejection. Even when Lucifer is denied by Chloe it drives him bonkers, but there was no love involved in the beginning, so his behavior was rather camp. However once the prospect of a real legitimate relationship comes into play Lucifer loses his damn mind. He starts by not having as much sex, (Stewardess Interrupts)  then by turning down sex altogether. He reminds Chloe that he takes marriage vows very seriously. In other words he’s only interested in her and he can’t reveal WHY he got Candy involved but she needs to trust him as she always does. when he asks if her is he’s ever lied. He then faces his fear of rejection again, When Chloe says she isn’t sure if she believes him, Lucifer is visibly upset. Lucifer puts so much value into Chloe’s opinion of him, that whenever she shows any sign of not believing him, not trusting in him… of REJECTING him, he begins to crumble, he feels lost in purpose. He even becomes reckless about his will to live, not once but twice, (Take me Back to Hell & Candy Morningstar)

The sting of learning all those humans essentially rejected him by only caring about the sex, is lessened simply by the fact that there was no real effort to make a connection on either side. (Let’s face it Lucifer only ever called back the Brittneys.) His efforts to prove to Chloe that he’s done with that lifestyle exceed his efforts to sleep with her, even when he came out nude and tried to seduce her with his “berries”. He goes out of his way to tell flirtatious men and women, that Chloe is spoken for, and so is he. Whenever Chloe denies the connection between them or speaks in a way that denotes her rejection of Lucifer’s presence, it bothers him because at this point he does love Chloe and being rejected by her is too painful to bear.

Lucifer won’t get over his fear of being rejected by Chloe, until he rises above being rejected by his father. Until that pain goes away, he won’t be able to get over the fear of Chloe rejecting him for really being the devil. At this point I don’t think Lucifer is scared of traumatizing Chloe in the same way Linda was shook up in Homewrecker. He knows eventually Chloe would recover and possibly forgive him. However the fear of him being rejected by her is what holds him back. Would she still love me? Would she still care? Would she distance herself after I got hurt too many times?

Then the prospect of her knowing who she is, comes into play. Would she accept or reject the idea of being implemented as a means to guide the devil towards his redemption? Would she blame Lucifer? Would she still want to move forward with him? Would she still trust him and believe in him?

I think Lucifer hesitates to show his true form, because he can’t answer most of these questions, and he fears a positive reaction from Chloe as much as he does a negative one.

A negative reaction would mean total rejection, her walking away, blaming him for all the mishaps, essentially the things that Lucifer talks about in Favorite Son and Take me Back to Hell, but coming from Chloe’s mouth.

A Positive reaction would mean she accepts things the way they are, him going along with God’s plan, essentially going along with dad’s little play, and the inevitable question, “Why did my father reject me but not you, detective?” The possibility of Chloe being used as a method to control Lucifer’s path, to influence his free will. Knowing that anyone trying to get to him could easily go after Chloe and vise versa.

Lucifer needs to see his father in his true form, to hear his father’s true voice and to hear for himself that his father has forgiven him. Lucifer needs to see that even his crazy screwed up parents can mend their broken relationship. Then, once Lucifer no longer feels rejected by his father, once he sees that couples can and do get through hardships, he can focus on revealing the truth to Chloe and giving her the choice of staying in his life. He and Chloe can work together through the whole “I’m the devil and you’re a miracle child.” thing without Lucifer getting in over his head or freaking out because he thinks Chloe is rejecting him like his father did. They can both come to a complete understanding of their motivations, and Lucifer will be able to explain things as he always has, without Chloe thinking it’s some crazy metaphor.

Without him realizing it, Lucifer’s actions have been leading him step by step, towards getting back in touch with his father. He’s chosen the path of redemption as opposed to the path of damnation, despite his numerous opportunities to be completely selfish and do away with his growing appreciation of humanity. I think this is what God Johnson meant when he said he was proud of the man Lucifer has become.

Amenadiel and Uriel seem to remember best just how bullheaded, and self centered Lucifer was in his youth, but even Amenadiel (and Charlotte) admit that Lucifer has changed for the better. The history that is revealed shows us how Lucifer was handed things as a result of being God’s favorite. It shows us that in most cases Lucifer’s ego, pride, and rebellious nature are what led to his fall. However we see Lucifer time and time again, go against his old rebellious fledgling angel, behavior.

When Chloe tells him he needs to follow the rules, he doesn’t object or rebel, though he does find loopholes in her directions when he follows her to confront Malcolm. He actually makes an effort to listen and to follow protocol for the sake of her career and for the sake of revealing the truth. And when his actions cause strife in Chloe’s life, it devastates Lucifer. He reaches a point where his central focus is no longer solely his own happiness. He takes into consideration how his actions affect those around him, not just himself. In this he abandons his selfish behavior as well as his rebellious behavior.

When Lucifer prays for Chloe’s protection, when he goes out of his way to save her, when he admits how she makes him vulnerable, when he makes every effort to protect her and keep her out of harm’s way, when he accepts that Chloe deserves the very best out of whomever she chooses to love, he is giving up his pride he is casting away his ego.

When Lucifer holds back on punishing humans, when he stops himself after hearing Chloe’s pleas, when he begins to save his abilities for the worst of the worst, he is learning to control his wrath.

Through Chloe and Lucifer’s relationship, we see Lucifer begin to believe in his goodness and his worthiness. We see Chloe begin to believe in herself as a detective, she gets her power back, and she never stops telling Lucifer how she doesn’t believe he’s evil. Lucifer fights for Chloe’s faith and Chloe fights for Lucifer’s self worth.

Having Chloe in Lucifer’s life, no… choosing to keep her in his life, has helped lead him down his path to redemption. The moment Lucifer began to put Chloe before himself, was his first step. Trusting that she will never reject him or cast him out for being the devil, will be the final step. When Lucifer truly believes that he is good inside, when he believes his father truly forgives him, when he finally forgives himself and accepts that he is worthy of redemption and his parents’ love, when he finally forgives his parents and lets go of his anger; He will finally be ready to accept Chloe’s unconditional love and all the ups and downs that go along with that love.

And that is why I think that Lucifer’s redemption will also give us our Deckerstar endgame, why I think Chloe and Lucifer’s love is guiding Lucifer towards his redemption, and why I love this show so much.

faoraofylisse  asked:

OMFG. Uriel said the piece/peace is here. What if that's Chloe? What if God put her on earth not for Lucifer, but for humanity? What if God already had a plan for Chloe & didn't think Lucifer would leave hell? Lucifer was the only angel with free will he couldn't *fully* control/plan for so what if Charolette's wrong? They were never meant to cross paths but did because Lucifer left hell when he wasn't suppose to? DOESN'T THAT MEAN THEIR FEELINGS FOR EACH OTHER ARE 110% REAL & NOT GODS PLAN?!?!

Title: Goodnight

Pairing: Dean x Reader

Word Count: 1975

Warnings: none, fluff-ish

Summary: Dean Winchester has been accused of a murder he claims to have not committed in a seemingly obvious case. As his lawyer, can you prove him innocent, despite this being your very first case ever?

A/N: (DISCLAIMER) This was loosely based off of HBO’s miniseries ‘The Night Of’ (of which I borrowed some lines of dialogue from too) which was absolutely fabulous and thrilling and tackled racial matters, so credits to them and the creators.

This was also a part of @whispersandwhiskerburn‘s Much Ado About SPN challenge! I had the Shakespearean quote “Strong reasons make strong actions” (King John III.4), with included associations with Uriel, Uniforms, and Underdog. Enjoy! :)

It was such an open-shut case. And somehow, he was a free man.

Dean Winchester was the only one in Lisa Braeden’s apartment when she was stabbed to death in her bed. Despite being in the kitchen when he woke up with no memory, he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol earlier on the night of October 25th. He ran when he discovered the body, and when the alleged murder weapon was found on him, he resisted arrest.

It had to be him. Who else could it be?

You had only started working at Rowena’s law firm for a month when she asked you to assist her on the famous Winchester case.

Her plan for him was to take the deal of a plea bargain, pleading guilty to manslaughter for fifteen years instead of a lifetime sentence. It was a damn good deal.

The first time you met him, you forgot that you were walking into a small shabby cell to see a prisoner.  For a moment, it was like being entranced by a handsome stranger in a coffee shop, as bizarre as it sounded.

Samandriel is responsible for many things in this world.

He is the Angel of Fertility, the reason why men and women of the world are or are not fertile. He hates sitting by while watching humans desperately attempt to have children while he knows he never gave them the ability to. Humans prayed to Gods and Angels of love; Sophia, Chamuel, Aphrodite, Venus, Cupid, but they hardly ever prayed to him.

He is the Angel of Imagination, the reason why books exist, why children play pretend and why brilliant scholars have the initiative to pursue the things that go on to define them. He looks on sadly as many children lose the gift he had given them as they grow. Humans prayed to Gods and Angels of intelligence; Uriel, Zagzagel, Athena, Minerva, but they hardly ever prayed to him.

But Samandriel didn’t care. He didn’t care that humans didn’t know his name or his others like Samandiriel. He loved them too much to be angry. He cared that his home was never peaceful. He cared that he had to choose between Raphael and Castiel, his brothers. He cared that he had to think about every word he said, every movement he made, just so he could avoid Naomi as long as he could. He cared about Castiel, his brother who loved too much, being gone. He cared that he had to beg every single day for weeks just for a demon to not hurt him as much as he wanted to and he cared that it never ever worked.

But no one cared about him. No one remembered him when he gone. Only two words were left to describe the angel who told Hell of Heavens secrets.

“Samandriel was good.”

“Samandriel was broken.”

Esoteric Origins of Alchemy

Early alchemists Zosimus and Isis said alchemical knowledge came from fallen angels sexually attracted to human women. The early Christian church fathers believed them and claimed the angels had sinned against the orders of god. Who were these angels?
The Book of Enoch (Enoch 1), the Book of the Secrets of Enoch (Enoch 2) and the Book of Jubilees contain more details about the fallen angels referred to in Genesis. Enoch 2 was probably written by a Hellenistic Jew in the first century CE. Enoch 1 and the Book of Jubilees are Jewish works of the intertestamental period written down in the second century BCE. The information contained in them is much older than the date of these manuscripts.
Enoch was the great grandfather of Noah. Genesis 5: 22-24 says, “And E-noch walked with God after he begat Me-thu-se-lah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of E-noch were three hundred sixty and five years: And E-noch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.” The Books of Enoch describe how he was taken to the heavens after a tour of the
earth: “The Lord spoke, ‘Have no fear, Enoch, good man and scribe of goodness. Come hear my voice. Go speak to the Watcher of Heaven, who have sent you to intercede for them. Tell them: You should intercede for men, and not men for you. Why did you leave lofty, holy Heaven to sleep with women, to defile yourselves with the daughters of men and take them as your wives…?’” After God’s rhetorical admonition against his lustful yet loving angels he said to Enoch, “As for the Watcher who sent you to intercede for them, tell them: ‘You were in Heaven but the mysteries were not revealed to you. You knew worthless ones, and in the hardness of your hearts you revealed these to women, and through these secrets women and men work much evil [on] earth.’ Say to them, ‘You have no peace.’" After his audience with God, angels including the archangel Uriel took Enoch on journeys through hell and heaven. From there the angel Raguel took him to the Seven Mountains in the Northwest and the Tree of Life. “Fragrant trees encircled the throne. Among them was a tree like no other. Its fragrance was beyond all fragrance, and its leaves and blooms and wood never withered….” Michael, the leader of the angels tells Enoch, “As for this fragrant tree, no mortal is permitted to touch it till the great judgment….” Enoch was instructed by the Lord to write down what had been revealed to him and to teach the people this wisdom. He did so in 366 books. Scholars believe the meaning of the name Enoch stems from a variant of the Hebrew root connoting “to train, to educate.” Scholars have been able to verify the general historical accuracy of the Old Testament by comparing the biblical episodes to much older parallel chronicles written in cuneiform characters on clay tablets from the ancient Mesopotamian kingdoms of Assyria and Babylonia. The oldest of all are from Sumer. Shumer is “land of the Watchers” in Akkadian, the root semitic language used by the Assyrians and Babylonians. The Sumerian King List records all the rulers of earth back over 400,000 years. This huge stretch of time coupled with reigns into the thousands of years has caused most historians to reject its accuracy. However all the early rulers were gods—immortals. The King List does record the reign of Enmeduranki whose name meant “ruler whose me connect Heaven and Earth.” A tablet described by W.G. Lambert tells a story similar to Enoch’s: “Enmeduranki [was] a prince in Sippar, beloved of Anu, Enlil and Ea. Shamash in the Bright Temple appointed him. Shamash and Adad [took him] to the assembly [of the gods]… They showed him how to observe oil on water, a secret of Anu, Enlil and Ea. They gave him the Divine Tablet, the kibdu secret of Heaven and Earth… They taught him how to make calculations with numbers.” Anu, Enlil, Ea, Shamash and Adad were Sumerian gods called Anunnaki meaning “those who from Heaven to Earth came.”
A tablet referred to as CBS 14061 describes an incident paralleling the Enochian marriage of an angel to a human woman. The tablet tells of a young god named Martu who fell in love with the daughter of the high priest of Nin-ab. Martu complained to his goddess mother, “In my city I have friends, they have taken wives. I have companions, they have taken wives. In my city, unlike my friends, I have not taken a wife; I have no wife, I have no children.” Martu’s mother asked him if the woman he desired “appreciated his gaze.” Then the goddess gave her consent to the marriage. Enlil the leader of the gods on Earth became increasingly upset over the pollution of Anunnaki blood by these marriages and over the young Anunnaki gods becoming more interested in freedom and idyllic life on earth than taking orders from Enlil. He said “I will destroy the Earthling whom I have created off the face of the Earth.” The peoples of ancient civilization, Sumerians, Egyptians, Akkadians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Hittites, Hebrews etc., in their sacred writings all describe gods that physically dwelt on Earth. This was aside from their writings on philosophy and mysticism. According to the Sumerians these gods came from the planet Nibiru, “planet of the crossing;” the Assyrians and Babylonians called it Marduk, after their chief god. The Sumerians never called the Anunnaki, “gods.” They were called din.gir, a two syllable word. Din meant “righteous, pure, bright;” gir was a term used to describe a sharp-edged object. As an epithet for the Anunnaki dingir meant “righteous ones of the bright pointed objects.” The Sumerian pictograph for the word looks like a two-staged rocket with a pointed capsule at the top. Sumerian texts break up history into two epochs divided by the great Deluge—the Biblical Flood. After the waters receded “‘the great Anunnaki who decree the fate’ decided that the gods ‘were too lofty for mankind.’ The term used—elu in Akkadian—means exactly that: ‘Lofty Ones;’ from it comes the Babylonian, Assyrian, Hebrew, and Ugaritic El—the term to which the Greeks gave the connotation ‘god.’” Returning to Genesis chapter six, after the sons of God took human wives, verse four continues: “There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became the mighty men which were of old, men of renown.” However the King James version erroneously translated the Hebrew term ne-filim as “giants,” and shem as “renown.” If the original words are used the verse reads: “The Nefilim were upon the Earth, in those days and thereafter too, when the sons of the gods cohabitated with the daughters of the Adam, and they bore children unto them. They were the mighty ones of Eternity—The People of the shem.” Nefilim stems from the Semitic root NFL, “to be cast down.” The first line of Genesis 6:4 means Those who were cast down were upon the Earth. They were the fallen angels!
They were also the People of the shem. “The Mesopotamian texts that refer to the inner enclosures of temples, or the heavenly journeys of the gods, or even to instances where mortals ascended to the heavens, employ the Sumerian term mu or its Semitic derivatives shu-mu (“that which is a mu”), sham, or shem. Because the term also connoted ‘that by which one is remembered,’ the word has come to be taken as meaning ‘name….’ Like most Sumerian syllabic words, mu had a primary meaning; in the case of mu, it was ‘that which rises straight.’ Its thirty-odd nuances encompassed the meanings heights, fire, command, a counted period…” After Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar II had rebuilt Marduk’s sacred precinct within fortified walls made of fired brick and gleaming black marble, he recorded: “I raised the head of the boat ID.GE.UL the chariot of Marduk’s princeliness; The boat ZAG.MU.KU, whose approach is observed, the supreme traveler between Heaven and Earth, in the midst of the pavilion I enclosed, screening off its sides.” ID.GE.UL means high to heaven, bright at night. ZAG.MU.KU means bright mu which is for afar. The Mesopotamians believed the gods were immortal. The Sumerians said one year on planet Nibiru, a sar, was equivalent in time to 3600 earth years. They also said Anunnaki lifespans were 120 sars which is 120 x 3600 or 432,000 years. According to the King List 120 sars had passed from the time the Anunnaki arrived on Earth to the time of the Flood. However when the Lofty Ones came to Earth their lifespans began to sync with Earth’s faster orbit and they faced rapid aging compared to that on Nibiru. They discovered that by eating food from their home planet they could keep the aging process synced to the pace of Nibiru. The Sumerian god of wisdom Enki (Ea) was the leader of the first sons of Anu that came down to Earth. He played the pivotal role in saving humanity from the global Deluge. He defied the Anunnaki ruling council and told Ziusudra (the Sumerian Noah) how to build a ship on which to save humanity from the killing flood. Ea would have been over 120 sars old at that time, yet his relationship with humanity continued to be actively reported for thousands of years thereafter.
Within his sacred precinct “Mound of Creation” in Eridu, Enki unraveled the secrets of life and death. His emblem was two serpents entwined on a staff—the basis for the winged caduceus symbol used by modern Western medicine. Enki was the god who created the first humans: “In those days, in those years, The Wise One of Eridu, Ea, created him as a model of men.” His name was Adapa, Adam in the Old Testament: “Elohim created the Adam in His image—in the image of Elohim created He him.” Through Enki’s creative efforts “wide understanding he perfected for him…. Wisdom [he had given him]…. To him he had given Knowledge; Eternal Life he had not given him.” Anu wondered “why did Ea, to a worthless human the plan of Heaven disclose—rendering him distinguished, making a shem for him?” Enki “made him take the road to Heaven, and to Heaven he went up. When he had ascended to Heaven he approached the Gate of Anu.” Enki had told Adapa that if Anu offered him food, he was not to eat the Bread of Life nor drink the Water of Life because they were poison.
After Adapa answered Anu’s questions Anu said, “‘What can we do for him? Fetch him the bread of (eternal) life and let him eat!’
“They fetched him the bread of (eternal) life, but he would not eat. They fetched him the water of (eternal) life, but he would not drink…Anu watched him and laughed at him.
‘Come, Adapa, why didn’t you eat? Why didn’t you drink? Didn’t you want to be immortal? Alas for downtrodden people!’
“‘(But) Ea my lord told me: “You mustn’t eat! You mustn’t drink.”
“‘Take him and send him back to his earth.’” And so humanity missed out on immortality until the sons of the gods fell in love with the daughters of men, married them and had children by them. Then not wanting their lovers to die they taught them the secrets of immortality that Ea had discovered. Those secrets were the secrets of alchemy. Ea’s youngest son was Ningizzida, Lord of the Tree of Truth, in Mesopotamia. He was revered as Thoth in Egypt and Hermes in the West.
By the beginning of the current era philosophers had removed the physical existence of the gods to the abstract, implying their powers were aspects of spiritual phenomena coincident to the forces of Nature. The early alchemists of that time period still claimed like the ancient priests before them, that the knowledge they possessed was a gift from the gods, and their pursuit of immortality was in emulation of the gods’ pursuit of immortality.

Series Rewrite Masterlist

“How can you be so sure?” Dean questioned. “It’s just like the accident. We’re here and we can’t get back in our own bodies.”

“No reaper.” You pointed out. You saw the look of realization cross his face before being replaced with the defeated look he’d worn earlier. You were trying to be strong for Dean’s sake, but the absolute truth was you were terrified. Not just for him and what starting the apocalypse would do to him, but for what you were becoming. Whatever that was.

“God, Y/N…look at you…” Dean finally looked at your face. Really looked at it. It was completely covered in bruises and blood. Barely any of your skin was untouched. He reached a hand out and cupped your cheek, rubbing his thumb along the cheekbone.

“Good thing we learned how to touch things as ghosts, huh?” You chuckled. He didn’t laugh and you pulled him close to you, rubbing his back while you hugged him.

Theme song: Just One Yesterday by Fall Out Boy

Request: Hi there! If it’s not too much to ask, would you mind writing a Dean/Reader fic based off the song “Just One Yesterday” by Fall Out Boy? One where the reader is a angel who has a pretty good handle on human life, and just an overall really flirty fic? Thanks so much:)

Your name: submit What is this?

You ran your fingers over the edge of the shelves in Dean’s room, looking at the knick-knacks and weapons he had decorating the place. It was all very hunter-chic except for one thing which seemed a little out of place amongst the guns and sigils; a pink ipod. You walked to it, sliding the screen unlocked and pressed play on the song he’d last been listening to. The beat of it filled you up; music like this was somewhat new to you and you still couldn’t quite help your reaction to it. You closed your eyes, moving your head to the melody, swaying your hips along and letting it undulate through you entirely. If you could change one thing in heaven it would be to allow music like this; it was such a release.

A week later.

You called Dean. I’m here. What is it that you want from me ?” She stood in front  of him shoulders squared. He smirked, like he had a trick up his sleeve.

“Answers.” She saw the glow of the flame as he flicked the lighter on. She glared at him as he dropped it to the ground, igniting a ring of holy oil around her.

“Come on Dean. Is this really necessary?”

He just stood there in front of her, waiting for to explain with his arms across his chest.

“You think i wanted to leave? They made me leave. it was one of their conditions.” She yelled, flinging her hands into the air.

Dean continued to glare at her, the blazing fire creating shadows on his face, “ Conditions for what ?” His gruff voice broke the tension.

She groaned at the thought of spelling out the situation to him. She hated to think about it, let alone speak about it. “ Tell me Y/N. Or you are gonna be here for a really long time.” He said glancing at the holy fire.

She bit the inside of her cheek, and closed her eyes as if she were bracing herself for the truth. She sighed and said, “To save my family, to save you.”

“I said i would go with them if they left all of you alone. If they didn’t drag everyone i cared about into this Heaven and Hell crap.” She shrugged and laughed sarcastically, “Yet, here we are.” A fake smile plastered in her lips.

His hands were stuffed into his front pockets of his frayed jeans, while he continued to glare, waiting for the rest of her story. “Look i made a deal with the angels. With my father.” His head jerked to attention as she said that

His curiosity peaked so he asked, “God? Your father is God?” They needed God right now, more than ever. And with Y/N as an ace in his hand he most certainly not going to let her go.

“No Dean. Michael. The arch angel Michael. He is my father.” she said softly, her eyes cast down to the floor.

His eyes grew big like saucers and he smirked saying, “Looks like he liked getting it on with Humans.”

“I’m a variation of the angel species. I’m a Nephilum.” She said her lips in a tight line. “There aren’t many of us left. Because Uriel had most of us executed for us being too powerful. Jo and i are the only ones i know of.”

“Jo?” he shook his head in disbelief.

“Yeah, she’s like me. Remember the visions, the white noise . It was all those bastards. So i said take me and leave her alone.”

“Those winged Bastards. They knew what they were doing the whole time. They knew this war was coming.” Dean said through gritted teeth and clenched fists

She was falling apart at the seams, the memories were too much for her, “What do you think they were doing to me up there? Teaching me to play harps and shoot cupid’s arrows? They broke me in every way possible. They claimed they had to make me strong and tough so that i could lead the Garrison with Jo and Cas at my side. i had to fufil my father’s mission of good triumphing over evil. They were beating me into the most dangerous weapon in Heaven’s arsenal.” Tears flooded into her eyes at the collection of the horrors she faced in Heaven’s boot camp. “Dean. They are letting the seals break. They want the apocalypse.”

He snuffed out a bit of the flame with his work boot. She stepped out of the circle and walked towards him, he was conflicted- she saw it in his eyes. She put her hand on his warm cheek and turned his face so he would look at her. There was a million running through his mind, She could see the gears whirring behind those beautiful green eyes. She let out the breath she was holding and spoke softly to him, “Dean. i never wanted to leave home. i never wanted to leave you. No matter what was happening you were the only thing i thought about. You kept me sane.” His eyes softened as she began to choke up when she spoke- the emotions overwhelming her. “Remember the note you slipped in my pocket before i got out the car at the train station ? i still have it. Remember what it said ? We aren’t boats without anchors. We are people.” Dean began to whisper with her, “And people always find their way home.”

A slight smile danced on his pouty lips as he pulled her against his body and captured her lips with his, teasingly- coaxing the tension away. Her heart was beating a million miles per second as he laid her down on the bed

His fingertips traced her face in the darkness of the night, followed by his lips. The only sound filling his ears was the sound of the soft rain her sighs and the grumble of the thunder. Her arms welcomed him. He lingered there, mouth pressed to mouth, the scrape of teeth, the sultry mating of tongues, until she sank deep into the pleasure Dean was offering.

He made her heart stutter, her pulse tremble and her muscles to tighten like a coil- ready for release. He contented himself with the length of her throat. His hands as skillful as a magician, as he moved over her. He kept his own desires at bay as he patiently seduced her. Long stirring kisses, lazy languid caresses were shared like tiny secrets. Her body melted to his and his name bled from her lips and that was exactly what he wanted.

He nor she knew how their clothes came off, it was all a blur. Yet the moment, she straddled him and his arms snaked around her waist, everything went slow. She was committing every sensation to memory. It was magical to see her that way. A top of him, bare and beautiful. She crashed her lips to his. he hungrily moved his mouth to her breast. She writhed as his tongue rolled lazily over her nipple, he was savouring the taste of her with his teeth and tongue.

the air became too thick to breath as his tongue and fingers caused onslaught to her body, “Dean.” was all she could manage, breathlessly as she felt him grin against her skin.

He cupped his hands under her ass cheeks, lifting her up slightly so she could slide onto him. Her breath strangled as he filled her up, his groping hands- sliding in all the right places- as she began to piston her hips. He felt her tighten around her, so he desperately gripped onto her hips as he orgasm raged through her. She arched her back and bucked her hips as she came. His calloused hands moved over her velvet skin like silk.

He noticed the satiated look in her eyes and woke to lay her on the pillow as he settled himself between her thighs, She grinned at him- a slow lazy smile- He bit his lip and dragged her by her thighs so he could feel her slick wetness again,  ‘Look at me Y/N. Look at me.” He said as he plunged into her, chasing his release. He groaned and her eyes fluttered opened to see his dark irises just before he flung his head back and let go inside her.

It was morning, she was still drowsy but content with Dean’s weight on her. He was still asleep, a child like expression on his face, She bent forward to kiss his freckled cheeks, there was some aches from last nights loving as she moved. She smiled to herself as she ran her fingers through his hair, he began to stir and a knowing smile danced on his lips as he woke.

“Last night was heavenly.” She chuckled and rolled her eyes, smacking his bare back playfully.

She ran a hand through her hair, stretched and smiled as she slid out of bed. “We have things to do today Dean.” she called out from the bathroom

“Things like what ?” he groaned. “I wanted to stay in bed with you.”

She smiled to herself, he was cute when he was half asleep and grumpy, “Oh i don’t know.” She paused, “Like maybe paying my family a visit. letting know i’m back.”

He heard the water turn on.

“Do you want to shower with me and save water ?” she said.

He, literally shot out of bed and ran to the bathroom. She chuckled and smacked his bare bottom.

He felt a slight sting, so he turned to the mirror to see Enochian symbols branded to his ass cheek, “Hey!” He gasped. “What does this say?” He was struck with astonishment and a little pain.

She grinned and pulled him into the shower, the hot drops raining over them. She put her mouth to his, drinking him in.

“Mine.” She smiled against his lips, “It says Mine.”

No Will and No More Madness

Orange and I were discussing Uriel’s and Hester’s death scenes in “On the Head of a Pin” and “Reading is Fundamental,” respectively. What got us were how similar they were, mirroring each other so well that it had to be intentional. We kicked around a little discussion on it, and she thought it’d be a cool idea for me to post it, so here it is!

“You have a lot of nerve, summoning me.” Uriel appeared, walking circles around you, like a predator stalking its prey.

“And yet…you still showed up.” You chuckled, turning to face him when he stopped behind you. “It’s not like I can kill you, ya know…I’m the one with everything to lose here.”

“And yet…here you are.” He smirked. “You said something about giving me Anna?”

“I did.” You nodded. “But you really thought I brought her here? Then you’d definitely kill me. I’m not stupid. I have terms.”

“I don’t negotiate with abominations.” He growled, wrapping his hand around your throat again and squeezing just enough to not completely cut off your air supply. “You’re mine now. And I’ll use you how I see fit.”

Stunned Worshippers Return to Har Nof Synagogue

About 30 worshippers arrived Wednesday morning to Bnei Torah synagogue in Jerusalem’s Har Nof for shacharit morning prayers - the day after two Arab terrorists horrifically massacred worshippers, killing five people in the synagogue.

Two security guards stood at the entrance to secure the morning prayer service, after the 7 a.m. prayers the previous day was interrupted by an attack with hatchets, knives and guns.

Among the worshippers were residents, people wounded in or present at the scene of the attack, as well as Economics Minister Naftali Bennett (Jewish Home) and MK Dov Lipman (Yesh Atid)

One of the worshippers, Yitzhak Heshig, a doctor at Shaare Zedek Medical Center who was injured in Tuesday’s attack, made it a point to return to the synagogue for the next morning’s prayers.

Hallelujah Isn't Always Easy

The court of heaven was in uproar today. Rarely used other than to pass large announcements to the public, it was a place of severe beauty. This was a place of serious matters and there were few smiles this morning. The Archangels were found in the front of the mess, answering most of the questions to inform the crowds that they didn’t know what was going on at the time. Notably, Angels were missing from the Archangel tier.

Archangel Michael, for unknown reasons. Archangel Zadkiel, probably running late as she was the Second in command of Gods Holy Army and likely on the field. Archangel Raphael was always late as he was generally the last to get his messages on earth. No one knew where Archangel Uriel was. There was present archangels couldn’t explain his absence and that cast a sense of unease among the crowd.

Brought to the Angelic court once again, Raphael ran a hand through his hair and tugged on the hem of his garb, having shifted into it as he arrived. He had gotten a disturbing message while he was on earth working, something about a urgent meeting and Uriel. The messenger had been nearly out of breath and bolted back as soon as he had been sure Raphael had known to come. Upon his nearing the chaos on foot, he spotted a glimmer of metal approaching as well. He was met with Archangel Zadkiel, fresh off the field and still in armor. Her white wings were as beautiful as ever. It really must have been important if they had pulled her straight off the battlefield. He met her silently and nodded a greeting that she returned. They parted through the crowd with ease despite the numbers. Archangels were not a laughing matter in Heaven. Leaders among Angels, it was not hard to gain the attention of others. The fact that they were the only Angels with their wings not withdrawn helped to spot them as well. The reason was both official dress in the court paired with common sense. When in large crowds, it was downright dangerous to fly. No one needed broken wings, and they took up more space. Archangels needed to be spotted and possibly move to the front by air quickly. The pair took their places with the others in the front, whispering questions into ears and being greeted with shaking heads. Uriel and Michael were still missing.

It was some time before there was a sound that shushed the chatter among the host of angels. From the Holy Chamber stepped the Commander of Gods holy Army, Archangel Michael. His jaw wet tight and his eyes hard though hinting at a tiredness. Behind him, with irritation barely concealed behind a look of indifference, was the Archangel Uriel. Unknown to the Host, he had been within the Holy chamber being chastised. Once again he had been caught trying to escape to see Lucifer, no big deal. He believed he was made to wait outside their fathers inner chamber as a kind of punishment as his brother spoke to their father. His face turned to slight bewilderment as he saw the gathering outside. He wasn’t aware that there was a meeting to be held. He joined the Archangels without a second thought as Michael stood the side of the entrance. At sight of the third entity, the entire population took to a knee, some smiling with heads bowed, others watching with a mixture of curiosity and the utmost respect.

God had made his appearance.

A dismissive motion from the Holy Father and the host of angels stood once again.

A sєríσus mαttєr, tσdαч shαll вє dєαlt wíth. Onє σf mч σwn hαs turnєd hís єчєs αwαч frσm us σnє tímє tσσ mαnч.

The voice resonated through heaven before quieting.

Archangels and lesser Angels alone had to bite their tongues from speaking out. Raphael felt a cool chill travel down his spine and he glanced over his shoulder between his wings to their younger brothers ashen face. There was confusion and a desperate denial in the young angels face.

It sαddєns mє grєαtlч tσ cαll thís tσ αttєntíσn. Uríєl, σur vєrч σwn вríght αrchαngєl σf wísdσm, чσu αr-

“N-NO!” Uriel shouted, interrupting the creator. The color tried to return to his face in rage but his body didn’t seem to want to co-operate. His protests were in vain, he cried out that he wasn’t a bad person for wanting to see his brother. He cursed and fought as a pair of guardian angels appeared to take his arms. The lord of lords continued.

Yσu αrє fσund guíltч σf multíplє αttєmpts tσ sєє thє fαllєn αngєl, Lucífєr.

The Ancient one paused, seeing the mortified stares of his angels on one of their own. This had gone under wraps for too long, he did not want to do this to any of his children… but it must be done.

Yσu αrє Bαníshєd.

This couldn’t be happening. Raphael felt as if heaven shifted beneath his feet and gripped his staff to steady himself as he caught the arm of another Archangel next to him to steady them as well. No one had been cast out since the fall of Lucifer. Sure, Angels had defected, but never an Archangel. Not one of the Elite, not since the war. No one had been prepared for this. They could only watch as their brother was dragged from the yard bellowing and thrashing with all his might. Two more Guardians joined the first pair and then another in order to subdue the Archangel in his strength. Raphael snapped his eyes to Michael when Uriel was gone from sight. God rarely made big decisions without Michaels input, and he would be lying if he said he wasn’t glaring at the sibling. Uriel was not a bad Angel. He did not deserve to be cast out the way Lucifer did. Michael didn’t blink, but met his eyes calmly. The tiredness in his eyes sucked the anger out of Raphael before it really had a chance to begin. There was nothing they could do.

Weeks passed and Raphael distracted himself by working all shifts and not sleeping. He had no clue how the others in Heaven were handling their grief, anger, and confusion. Any time he had a spare moment, his mind tried to wander to his brother and it angered him. They had heard nothing more of Uriel since that day in heaven. He entered his home on earth and stepped over a pile of clothing in the doorway before stopping and picking it up. He had been about to shed his current clothing and don a pair of scrubs to pose as a medical intern to help a local hospital. It was less energy wasted to simply wear the real thing rather than conjure it up. He froze when he saw that he had a visitor on his couch. Michael didn’t smile as he spoke.

“Come with me.”

Minuets later, Raphael was in heaven once again, for the first time since he had stormed out of the Holy Court. It was oddly much calmer than he thought it would be. He followed Michael into the Holy Chambers and into Gods Inner Sanctum, freezing when he spotted Uriel looking peacefully asleep ahead, laying on air and covered with a sheet up to his shoulders. He near panicked, thinking he was dead but Michael stopped him. Two others were there, Zadkiel looking as confused as he did… and their Father. Raph started to take a knee but was stopped.

Michael spoke after a bewildered Raphael was kissed on the brow and then Zadkiel. God did not speak again as he left, leaving Michael in charge.

“Our Father has a job for you.” Raphael snagged Zadkiels eyes across the space and joined her as Michael continued speaking.

Uriel was being banished, but… it wasn’t permanent?

“Father is a Forgiving God…. he loves Uriel, we do not want him to be Fallen.” the Commander paused, making sure the pair understood what he was saying. “He is to be reborn to a couple who are fated to die in six years. He will not know who he is. We need you to raise him. Teach him the good of the world, right from wrong, and in time… that he has a choice. He will ascend to us and his memories restored under the right conditions.”

Raphael was stunned before his face lit up with hope.

-Kazuma Kaneko’s depictions of Uriel and traditional depictions

Uriel is one of the four Judeo-Christian archangels (however the one who is often left out since he is mostly mentioned in apocryphal books, gnostic writings and Kaballah) and an angel of repentance, angel of Sunday and connected to the Confirmation.
Aurelius Ambrosius included him in the ranks of archangels though and he is mostly added so that there are four archangels (four directions north, east, south, west).

Uriel/Auriel/Oriel ( אוּרִיאֵל) means “God is My Light” or “God is Light.” Some refer to Uriel as the “Light/Fire/Flame of God.” His symbol is an open hand holding a flame/fiery sword or a book (as patron of arts). He is often dressed in green and is associated with summer and the Earth.

Some believe Uriel guards the gate of Eden and that he stands at that gate with a fiery sword. The Book of Enoch states that Uriel “watches over thunder and terror.”
He was the angel that warned Noah of the Great Flood, and he is sometimes said to be the angel that wrestled with Jacob (most sources say that is was Phanuel though however they are sometimes equated).
In the book Esra he guides Esra through heaven and hell.
Uriel is also the angel usually credited with saving the life of John the Baptist during the Massacre of the Innocents and he guided John and his mother Elisabeth (Gabriel is said to be the angel who saved Jesus with warning Joseph to go to Egypt in contrast).

Uriel is believed to be the “Regent of the Sun” in the Book of the Revelation that calls forth the birds of the air to feast upon the fallen bodies and he will oversee the resurrection and retribution of human souls.
He also is said to be the overseer of Hell and is controlling the heavens. Paradise Lost also associates him with the sun.
